“Secondly, you will have the power to resurrect the dead,” Galiac continued saying.

Upon hearing those words Ava was in shock, “I cannot do that Galiac, and if I’m supposed to do it how will I know what to do?” Ava asked.

“I cannot tell you how to do it, but when the time comes, I know that you will know what to do. You are a guided soul Ava, never forget that.” Galiac said to her.

“The third thing Ava is something that will be very, very hard for you, but a time will come when you will have to make a great choice – and you will have to choose between your mother and father or the Realm of Zerros and all that it created,” Galiac said to her.

“Why would that even be a choice, of course I will choose my mother and father,” Ava replied.

“Know this about yourself Ava, you have a precious soul, and your family will always be special to you, but know that you care very much for everything that exists and this is why you are the chosen one my child,” Galiac said to her.

“The fourth thing Ava is that a time will come when the beast of the earth is unleashed, and this beast will have only one sole mission, and only you will be able to control it,” Galiac said.

“When will this beast be unleashed and why will I be the only one who can control it?” Ava asked inquisitively.

“This beast will arise as the earth makes its final voyage around the sun, and before the skies turn as red as blood, and the reason that only you can control it is because you are the one who will create it Ava. And remember my child, this beast has only one sole mission which it itself does not even know,” Galiac said.

“How is all of this possible Galiac?” Ava asked.

“When the fate of everything in existence is at stake, anything and everything is possible Ava,” Galiac replied.

As Ava heard those words she tried to comprehend how everything in existence could be affected by her and then Galiac said his fifth and final words of wisdom to her.

“And finally Ava, the fifth thing is that if one day you do make it to Zerros, there will be one being there that you cannot trust, this being is an embattled soul and is caught between power and love,” Galiac uttered.

“Galiac, do you know who this being is?” Ava asked.

“No my child, I do not know who it is, but even if I did know and tried to tell you, the words will not come forth from my mouth,” Galiac answered.

  “Why Galiac?” Ava asked.

“Because my child, this conversation between us was never supposed to exist, but only through a mutual understanding was I given this chance to help you in your journey,” Galiac replied.

“I understand Galiac, but is there anything you can tell me about this being so that I am not betrayed?” Ava asked.

“All I know Ava is that this being was promised great power and unimaginable control of a universe, along with the powers of creating life and death, as well as creating planets and stars and suns, and having ultimate power. And there are very few who can resist the temptation of what this being was offered,” Galiac said.

“What was promised? And who made this promise?” Ava asked.

“What was promised was powers beyond anyone’s wildest dreams, and as for who made the promise, it was none other than the Blue Dragon of Zerros,” Galiac said.

“What does the Blue Dragon have to do with this?” Ava asked.

“The Blue Dragon has everything to do with this Ava, this is all that I can say, I am truly sorry,” Galiac replied.

“No Galiac, you must tell me more, I need to know why this is happening to me. Why am I the chosen one?” Ava asked.

To which Galiac replied, “Because this is your destiny my precious child. Once you leave this realm, you will forget everything that I have just told you. Your earthly consciousness will not be able to comprehend what is happening hence once you return back to earth it will be as if this conversation between us never existed, but somehow Ava, I know that you will find a way to lead the forces of good over the forces of evil. I’ve seen you do it before and I sincerely hope and believe that you can do it again my amazing Ava. Now I must go, but before I do, you must know that the Phoenix and you are almost one, and you must also know that Jonah’s transformation is almost complete. Just know that everything I have done on earth and beyond for the past thousands of years was because of my love for the humans. As I hid from the rulers of Zerros, I fought the evil and the greed, and I did what I could with the prophets and the books and the myths, but it wasn’t enough my child. I feel like I have failed the humans and I hope that they forgive me for my shortcomings, but know that the evil and greed that exists within the fabric of life engulfed my plans and brought with it the wrath of destruction upon the human race, and now only you can destroy the evil and the greed that exists within each of us and also exists within the very fabric of life itself. I love you very, very much, and I hope to see you again many eons from now. Now go, they are coming, and they want to destroy everything. Go and be who you were meant to be. And always remember, we are all connected in this world and beyond, in ways that are almost impossible to comprehend,” and with those words, Galiac wrapped his arms around Ava and as she felt the warmth of his soul all around her, she closed her eyes.

Then, as she opened them, Galiac was gone and she was now alone in the empty white space, left to ponder Galiac’s words of wisdom.

“Galiac please come back, please come back to me, I need your help,” Ava silently said, but she soon realized that Galiac would not be coming back and it was up to her to use his advice and wisdom to save the world and bring happiness and joy to everyone.

As Ava pondered upon Galiac’s words about her forgetting their conversation upon her return to earth, she did her best to try and remember everything in hopes that something would trigger her memory back on earth. Little did she know that back on earth a band of silver knights had spotted the large airmobile and were in hot pursuit of her and the rest of the thirteen kamikazes.

  CHAPTER TWENTY–SIX

“Wake up Ava! Wake up!” Dean shouted as he desperately tried to wake Ava, but it was to no avail as Ava’s mind was still absorbed in the realm of the undead and would only be released when she felt that she fully understood what Galiac had said to her.

As Max looked through the back window of the airmobile, he could see the seven silver knights flying towards them, “What do we do? We have to do something?” he said.

“Shoot them,” Sarah said, and without hesitation, Max began firing upon the knights with his built–in guns and struck one of the knights killing him in the process.

As the knights came under fire they fired back towards Max, and they also called for backup, and within seconds the base of the silver knights was put on lockdown and the words, “Code zero, we are under attack,” echoed throughout the compound and almost seventy–five percent of the knights who were still at the base made their way outside in search of their sworn enemies.

As Pops, Tony and Bismarck heard the message that the base was under attack they automatically assumed that they had been discovered and ran for cover. But before they could do so a silver knight came up to them and said, “Take your prisoner to the cells and come outside, enemies have been spotted and we are in pursuit of them.”

“Very well,” Pops replied and he, Tony and Bismarck began walking towards the direction of the cells.

“What do we do now Pops?” Tony asked.

“We have no choice, we have to go to the power source and destroy it,” Pops replied.

“What about going to door TB199?” Bismarck asked.

“It’s of no use going there as our friends will not be there, we have to complete the mission no matter the situation or the concerns,” Pops replied and with that he, Tony and Bismarck began their search for the power supply of the silver knights.

Meanwhile, on board the airmobile, Dean was still tending to Ava as the airmobile was at full speed in a valiant attempt to get away from the thousands of knights
that were now in pursuit of it. As the knights shot at the airmobile it began to take on damage, and Amanda and Zeus fired back towards the knights and in the process killed a few of them but it barely made a dent in their progress given the amount of knights that were in chase of them.

“They’re catching up to us, go faster!” Sarah shouted.

“That’s as fast as it can go,” Elizabeth shouted back to Sarah as she made a sharp right turn in an attempt to get away from the silver knights.

Meanwhile, back inside the base of the silver knights; Pops, Tony, and Bismarck continued making their way to the main power supply, which in essence was the brain that controlled the silver knights. And given that almost all of the knights had left the base to go after the airmobile; Pops, Tony, and Bismarck walked through the hallways of the base uninterrupted.

“How much longer until we get there?” Bismarck asked.

“At this pace we should be there in a matter of minutes,” Tony replied as they continued their search for the power source of the silver knights.

Back outside the base, the airmobile continued its attempted escape from the silver knights and as they continued firing lasers and missiles towards it, the damage was becoming too much to handle as it swerved and snaked its way towards what Amanda and company hoped was a getaway. But finally after taking hit after hit from the silver knights the airmobile spun out of control and crashed into the ground below and the crew of the airmobile was thrown about as the airmobile crashed and the back door flung open.

Upon seeing what had occurred, the knights landed on the ground and surrounded the airmobile with their weapons drawn and began to slowly approach the downed and damaged vehicle. Amare quickly noticed that the door to the airmobile was opened and ran to close it, and as the knights saw that, two of them instantly flew over to the airmobile and tried to prevent Amare from closing the door.

As they tried to pull the door open, Dean, Zeus, and Stryker ran towards the door to assist Amare and they managed to close it. And as they looked through the window of the airmobile they saw the knights continuing their approach towards them, then suddenly a knight shouted, “You are completely surrounded, exit the airmobile with your arms in the air.”

“Looks like there’s no way out,” Stryker said.

“Doesn’t look too good,” Max replied.

Then without warning the knights began to violently pull at the door until it broke off from the airmobile and they began to enter and pull everyone outside.

“What about this one boss?” one of the knights asked his superior referring to Ava who lay motionless on the floor.

“Wake her up you fool,” the leader of the pack of knights replied.

As the knight tried waking Ava, he tugged at her and yelled for her to wake up but there was no response.

“I think she is dead boss,” the knight said to his superior.

“Then leave the human scumbag there to rot,” the leader of the pack said, and with that they left Ava on the floor of the airmobile and pulled everyone else outside and lined them up.

As Zeus was dragged to the floor, he was ready to fight but as he looked at his comrades and then looked at the amount of silver knights ready to unleash the hatred of the betasapiens upon them he knew that the fight would not last long and that they would be dead in an instant. He then thought of Pops, Tony, and Bismarck and hoped that this distraction was enough to help them find their way to the power supply of the silver knights, which was the goal of the mission after all.

“Why are you here? Who sent you?” asked the leader of the pack of silver knights.

“We came here to join forces with you,” Sarah replied, hoping to stall the knights as long as she could in order to give Pops, Tony and Bismarck some extra time before the knights headed back to their base.

“Do not insult us you filthy human,” the leader of the pack of knights replied.

“She speaks the truth,” Amanda chimed in.

“I see the lies in your words,” the leader of the pack of knights said.

“I am not lying to you,” Amanda replied.

“Prove it to us, kill one of the humans, here kill this one,” another knight shouted pointing to Dean and then pulling him from the lineup and placing him right in front of Amanda.

Meanwhile, in another realm, or what could be perceived as another reality, Ava was finally ready to return to earth as she had done all that she could to remember Galiac’s words of wisdom and advice. Then as she looked at the white emptiness, she gently closed her eyes, and her mind which was becoming more and more powerful willed her back to earth.

Then, as Ava awoke in the back of the downed airmobile she could hear the shouting and yelling outside, and as she peeped out of the window, to her dismay, she saw one of the knights pointing his gun towards her beloved father.

“If you won’t do it I will,” shouted the knight as he pointed his gun to Dean’s head and as he did so it was as if time stood still and as the blast of the gun echoed throughout the air, Dean fell to the floor as the bullet pierced through his head. As Amanda saw the horror unfolding right before her eyes she did her best to fire her weapon at the knight and as her laser shot through the body of the silver knight it fell to the floor but it was too late as Dean lay dead on the cold and hard ground.

At the same time, Ava screamed out and began to run towards her father in hopes of saving his life and as she did so, she unleashed her fury upon the silver knights. Then, as they saw her power and rage take form they knew that this was not an ordinary human and they all focused on her and began to fire everything in their arsenal towards her.

As their bullets, lasers, and missiles hit her, they all simply disintegrated and then out of thin air and nothingness she created weapons of fire and ice and shot them towards the silver knights and one by one they fell dead to the floor.

Meanwhile, her friends looked at her in utter amazement as they themselves ran for cover and fired upon the silver knights to help in any way that they could. As the silver knights called for backup to assist in their fight against Ava, the rest of the silver knights emptied the base to assist their fellow knights.

Then as the room that housed the main power supply of the knights opened, many knights flowed out from the room to head outside and help their fellow silver knights. Pops, Tony, and Bismarck, who were scoping out the room and waiting for an opportunity such as this, lay in wait for the knights to empty the room and as the last knight exited the room, the door began to shut to the dismay of the trio, and as the door began to close, so did their window of opportunity of destroying the main power supply of the silver knights.

  CHAPTER TWENTY–SEVEN

Meanwhile, back in Freedom City, the silver knights were stunned at the defenses that the army of Freedom City had put up against them. And as the force field over Freedom City protected its inhabitants, the betasapiens knew that they would have to increase the force of their attack of which they had every intent on doing.

“Bring the carriers closer and unleash our wrath upon them,” ordered the commander of the knights and within seconds the engines of the gargantuan carriers were started, and to the absolute terror of the humans, superhumans, and rogue knights the carriers began heading towards Freedom City.

It was at that point that Gannon and the people of Freedom City realized that only a miracle would save them from certain obliteration at the hands of the knights and betasapiens.

“My lord shall we destroy all of Freedom City in one shot?” the commander of the silver knights asked.

“No, just destroy those that oppose us,” Frank replied.

On the ground below the army of Freedom City held the force field together and were as ready as they could be for the imminent breach of it and the pending invasion of the silver knights.

“Prepare your weapons,” Gannon shouted as he knew that without a doubt the power of the superhumans would not have any impact on the colossal carriers.

  As the carriers i
nched closer towards Freedom City, the knights stayed back for fear of the power of the superhumans.

Back on the ground, Jenna and the rest of the superhumans tried using their collective powers against the mighty carriers, and although they managed to cause some damage to them, it was barely a dent in the armor of the knights, and they continued their push forward with little resistance from the army of Freedom City.

As the carriers came to within less than one mile of Freedom City they suddenly stopped, and at that point, the army of Freedom City knew what was coming next, and without any warning, the carriers began to open fire on the force field.

As impact was made, the ground began to shake, and the main points of the force field began to buckle under the pressure. And then just as the knights expected, the force field shattered and as it broke apart, the thousands upon thousands of silver knights who were patiently waiting behind the massive carriers began to invade Freedom City.

“Take them down,” Gannon shouted, and the army of Freedom City raced towards the knights, and as the sides clashed in the air and on the ground, it was a display of fireworks that Freedom City had not seen in a very long time.

Jenna and the rest of the superhumans used their supernatural powers and did all that they could to prevent the knights from overtaking the last stronghold of the humans and superhumans on earth.

Meanwhile, the humans and rogue knights used their fire power as they raced towards the knights. The superhumans then willed protective shields around them, and as the lasers, bullets, and small projectiles were shot towards the humans, superhumans and rogue knights, they deflected off them, and they fired back at the silver knights of Russia and began to take them down knight by knight.

For now, it seemed that the army of Freedom City had again held the upper hand in this supposedly one–sided battle against the betasapiens and the silver knights of Russia. And as Gannon looked on he couldn’t believe his eyes that his small army was giving the massive army of knights the fight of their lives.
