Nailing Neil [Alpha Wreckers 4] (Siren Publishing Classic ManLove) Page 8

  “God,” Neil whispered.

Nash switched the angle of his thrusts and must have hit Neil’s sweet spot, because the human gasped, back arching. He went for Neil’s prostate again, liking the sound. Nash reached for Neil’s cock and balls, giving them a pinch, squeeze.

  “Come for me,” he ordered.

Neil cried out at his last stroke. Every muscle in his mate’s body relaxed, and Neil came, screaming his name, spilling his cum all over his hand. Possessiveness and tenderness flared inside of him as Neil turned his head, baring his neck. He blanketed his body over Neil’s, accepted the offering. He set his teeth over the spot and rode Neil a few more times.

The pressure inside him burst open and he emptied his seed inside Neil’s ass. The room fell away. He bit down, deep enough to pierce skin and draw blood, and kept going until he hit bone. Neil cried out against him. His wolf surged forward, eager to join their souls, hearts together.

Nash felt the bond take place, binding their life force together. He pulled his fangs back, got off Neil, and gathered the human to sit on his lap. Neil automatically wrapped his arms around his neck.

His mate had grown up in a werewolf pack and knew what came next. He smiled fondly at his mate, as Neil left his own tiny bite mark on the spot just below the scars. Perfect. His wolf howled inside of him in triumph.

Nash had grown up wary of his own inner animal, certain one day the beast would turn on him. Well, he wasn’t worried any longer. Because with the amazing human tucked against him, petting his chest, hugging him tight, he understood he had nothing to worry about. Nash would do anything to protect his mate, their offspring, because Janine was his too now, no matter what people said. The little girl had wormed her way into his heart, the way her dad did.

“I love you,” Neil said, lifting his gaze, eyes clear.

Nash never expected anyone to say those words to him. It made his heart soar, his wolf incredibly happy.

“I love you, too,” he instantly replied, knowing he meant every word.

Both of them had been afraid, he realized, of ruining the good thing they had. By inviting Neil and his daughter into his home, his den, he realized he had opened his heart to them. He had said to keep things slow because he wasn’t sure he could take the heart break if Neil rejected him. It turned out Nash had nothing to worry about.

Nash’s mind went back to the boy he had been, standing on the docks, lost, terrified, yearning for freedom, for the home he’d lost. That boy had never thought anyone would dare love a broken shifter, let alone that he would regain the family he’d lost. In the end, Isiah had come into his life and taken a chance on him, but it was Neil who had saved him.

Neil ran his fingers over his chest. “What are you thinking about?”

“That you’re the best thing that ever happened to me.”

Neil laughed. “I should be the one saying that.”

“Then we can agree to disagree,” he said.

“So,” Neil ventured, looking down at Nash’s dick, “round two?”

“After we tend to the bite mark on your neck.”

  “Will you always be demanding?”

  “I’m the Alpha.”

“And I’m your mate and I say I feel completely fine. Okay, give me a few minutes,” Neil admitted. “There will be a round two, right?”

“Of course.” Neil kissed him again, slow and sweet. “There will be plenty of sexy times, to satiate my ravenous mate.”

“Hey, that makes me sound like a sex addict or something.”

Nash smiled. He loved it when they argued, too. Neil always challenged him, kept him on his toes, and while his wolf wouldn’t tolerate that in another, Neil was his mate, his better half. Besides, Neil was in the perfect position, too. He settled Neil easily, so the human straddled him. Neil swallowed, staring up at him.

Then the mischievous human reached for his cock, already halfway there, and positioned it right at his ass.

“I like your initiative, little human,” he said, but it was time Nash took over.

He pushed his way in. Neil was so slick, so ready, it was easy. Neil buried his head into his chest as he began to push in and out. His human mate whimpered against him, begged him to go faster. Nash complied, strokes sure and deep, until Neil’s thick dick pressed up against his belly.

He gripped Neil’s dick and gave it a tug. His mate came against him, eyelids fluttering, mouth slightly parted. Nash took that opportunity to sneak in a kiss, slipping his tongue between Neil’s kiss-swollen lips.

Mine, he thought with pride. Forever.

  Two weeks later

Perched on a boulder in the woods with a laptop on his lap, Neil watched from the corner of his eye as a big black wolf yipped at a tiny orange kitten, perched high up on a branch. Janine curled on the branch, swaying her tail to and fro. When she’d first climbed one of the tallest pines in the woods, she had nearly given him a heart attack. Fortunately for him, there were plenty of shifters nearby.

Nash reassured him cats possessed amazing agility, even as kittens. Besides, even if she did fall, Nash would catch her. Amused, he watched Nash sit on his haunches and looked up at her, probably giving her that firm look. Eventually, she rose on all four paws and jumped a few branches down and finally landed on her feet.

She ran in circles around Nash, and he playfully batted one huge but gentle paw at him. Nash lay down on the grass, ears twitching as she pounced on him.

Finally, Janine must have exhausted all her energy supply, because she lay next to him.

Envious of them, he shut his computer lid. It wasn’t like he was going to be able to do anything anyway. He was surprised bright-blue eyes met his, a silent invitation. Neil rose from his position and joined his mate and daughter. Janine gave him a sleepy, annoyed look when he nudged a little farther to settled himself against Nash’s warm coat.

Neil closed his eyes, enjoying the breeze on his face. Nash and his daughter were warm and comfy next to him. He took off his glasses and set them aside with his laptop.

It hadn’t been long ago since he’d been a nervous intern at the company, terrified of losing his job. Life had seemed so uncertain then. Now, things were too good to be true. Well, fights were unavoidable. All mated couples fought, but it was hard to stay mad at Nash, who always made up with the lure of sex or gifts.

Neil wasn’t sure which he preferred. He must have dozed off, because the next time he woke, he was inside the van, sitting in the back seat. Neil blinked, seeing Nash at the wheel, and he leaned forward to see Janine was miraculously tucked in the car seat, a girl, not a cat.

She even had on the dress he’d put on her that morning, which she hadn’t worn for long. Her snores filled the van, Nash chuckled, and he swore he heard Nash mutter, “Cute kitten,” under his breath. Nash had taken to fatherhood really well, but he had a feeling once Janine grew up, Nash would scare off all the boys interested in her. Well, her human dad could be fierce, too.

“How?” he began. “Did I fall asleep?”

“All of us dozed off,” Nash said.

Well, he was certain that wasn’t true. He knew Nash always kept an eye out, even when asleep.

“Did you carry me all the way to van?” he asked. The hike wasn’t far, but it still was distance from where they’d parked the vehicle.

He’d been surprised when Nash had wholeheartedly agreed to buy the minivan. His werewolf Alpha turned out to be practical when it came to his personal life. Neil managed to convince Nash not to sell his bike though, in case they had some time off.

“You don’t weigh much,” Nash commented.

“I’ve grown a lot fatter since we met,” he protested. “You keep feeding me.”

Nash sighed. “It’s because you don’t eat right. You were all skin and bones when I first laid eyes on you. Bad example for Janine.”

“You had to bring that up, don’t you?” Neil had to admit, sometimes he did forget to eat.

  “Of
course.”

He looked out the window, surprised to see they were back in town. Night had fallen while he must have slept for hours. He yawned, stretching. “I feel so awake now.” Neil made sure Nash heard the suggestion in his voice.

“Oh?” Nash teased, finally reaching their street. Nash parked the van on the driveway. Neil got out, but Nash beat him to the race. “Let me.”

Neil let Nash carry Janine. She was starting to become heavy anyway. Taking out the keys, he headed into the house—their house, he corrected.

“I’ll tuck her in bed,” Nash said, once inside. “Take the baby monitor downstairs with me.”

“Okay, I’ll fix you a drink?” he asked. “Beer?”

Nash laughed. “You know me so well.”

“I know everything about my mate.” With that, he grabbed a beer from the fridge and wandered over to the living room. More frames had been added, either by Nash, his brothers, or their mates. The Mercer family had grown, he thought, scanning the recent photos. He set the beer down. There were new additions he hadn’t noticed before.

There were those of the respective couples, plenty of Tricia, and of course, their family photos. Hearing Nash’s footsteps, he said, “You’re a little biased.”

  “Am I?”

“Why are there so many photos of Janine and me?” He was pleased though, but he simply liked teasing his mate.

“Of course. You two are mine.” Nash pulled him into an embrace.

He hugged his Alpha back and leaned in for his kiss. Nash slanted his mouth over his, the kiss, hot, rough, and heavy. Nash ran his tongue along his bottom lip. His dick pulsed in his jeans.

“Time for some quality time?” he asked.

“You’ve just read my mind, baby,” he said.

“Your drink,” he began as Nash began pulling him upstairs.

“Forget about the drink. This is more important,” Nash said.

Laughing, he let Nash take the lead. “Love you,” he told his mate. No matter how many times he said those three little words, he never got sick of them.

“Love you, too.” Nash, too, it seemed, felt the same. His wolf gave him a knowing grin as they bolted up the last flight of stairs and into their bedroom.
