Sophie smiled. “Can I drive the fire truck if I pay for it?”
“If you buy one, I’ll put your freaking name on it.”
“I wanted to tell you I’m proud of you. It’s a great idea, and Nash and I will help in anyway you need us. I can do a fund-raiser and donate some money. Whatever you need.”
Colton gave his big sister a hug. “Thanks, Soph. That means a lot. I see the Rose sisters are free. I’m going to wish them a happy birthday and then we can talk about that money you just mentioned,” he joked.
Colton shook Nash’s hand and headed for the front table. Nash slid his arm around his new wife. “As fun as this is, I think it’s time to head home. It’s been almost a day since you were naked and in my arms,” he whispered, causing his lips to brush seductively along her neck.
“One more dance,” Sophie said as she reached for Nash’s hand. “Even the Rose sisters are going to dance.”
“I can’t deny my wife anything,” Nash joked as they headed to the full dance floor.

“To Miss Lily, Miss Daisy, and Miss Violet!” Holt called out as everyone raised their glass and toasted the Rose sisters. “A special song that will be on my first album whenever it comes out.”
The crowd cheered as the dance floor filled to capacity. She watched as couples danced between tables to the slow song about small-town living and loving. The Rose sisters danced with their husbands in the center of the room surrounded by the people of Keeneston.
“I want you again. Now.”
Her breath escaped her as the deep, low voice came from behind her.
“Yes,” she said accepting the challenge. Well, they could always quit tomorrow.

Miss Lily sat looking out over the crowd. These people were there to celebrate their birthday, and she loved them all so dearly. She reached for her sisters’ hands and leaned toward them to be heard over the music. “Happy birthday, dear sisters.”
“I don’t know how they’ll top it next year,” Daisy smirked.
“’Cause we’re not ready to go anywhere yet. Even if Florida does sound nice,” Violet said with determination.
“We have too much work left to do. There are far too many people needing our help. Colton with his fire department, Zain and Mila with their pregnancy—remind me to tell Zinnia to put some of those special herbs into their meals for the next couple of months. And there’s a whole lot of young people looking for love,” Lily said, looking over the crowd.
“I thought we were retired from matchmaking?” Daisy snickered as they all laughed at the joke. That was just something they told their husbands.
“Bless their hearts, these women need our help. It’s our civic duty,” Violet said looking out at Kenna, Dani, and Paige dancing with their husbands.
“They’re getting better, though. With the right nudges here and there, we’ll turn them into professional matchmakers soon enough. But first, I got us a present.” Lily smiled as she reached into her bag and handed an envelope to each sister. They tore into them and grinned.
“Hang gliding!” Violet gasped.
“With them?” Daisy asked, pointing to the handsome young men on the cover of the brochure.
“You betcha,” Lily smiled. “We may be getting older, but we still have a lot of living left.”
Daisy raised her glass. “To us.”
“To our first . . .” Violet paused not wanting to say how old they really were. “So many years.”
“And to many more,” Lily toasted.
