“Well Cordell, I suggest you get your ass to Vineland, I’ll meet you at her place at 11 o’clock, I need to know she’s alright, she’ll let me in.”

When Al arrived at Lynn’s, Cordell was sitting in his car.

Al got out of his car, went to the intercom, and rang the bell. After 11 pm, the door downstairs was on auto locked.

  “Yes,” Lynn answered hoarsely.

“Lynn, its Al, let me up.”

“Al I don’t feel like talking now,” she said softly.

“Come on Honey, I’m worried about you, you never call out.”

  “I’ll be in tomorrow."

“Well can I at least see if you’re okay?”

She didn’t respond. Then Al heard the buzzer. Al pulled open the door, Cordell close behind him.

“You wait in the hallway, and then I’ll let you in, after I talk to her,” Al told Cordell.

Lynn lay on the sofa, in an oversized robe, and socked feet, her hair pulled into a ponytail.

She heard the knock at the door.

  “It's open Al,” she called.

Al eased the door open. The room was dark except for a candle that glowed in the room.

Al went to her, sitting on the coffee table in front of her.

She sat up and turned on the lamp beside the sofa.

Al looked into her eyes were red and swollen. He moved to the sofa, to sit next to her.

Lynn didn’t hesitate; she fell into his arms and sobbed while mumbling incoherently.

Al pulled a tissue from the box she had sitting on the coffee table.

“Why didn’t he just tell me?” She sniffed, blowing her nose.

“Honey did you give him a chance to explain?"

“Explain that he and is wife were getting back together, I didn’t need it, she told me.”

“She’s lying, Lynn, Cordell isn't getting back with his wife,” Al stated.

Lynn looked over at him, searching his face for the truth.

  “Are you sure?”

Al nodded; you seriously need to talk to Cordell.”

“It doesn’t matter, I can’t Al, he didn’t love me anyway, and with time, I’ll get over him,” she stated.

  “You love him?”

Lynn nodded. “I’m too old for all this drama. This was supposed to be my last time falling in love. I thought he was the one.”

“Then talk to him Honey, give him a chance to explain the situation.

  She still said nothing.

Al rose and opened the door.

Cordell stood in the open door. His heart fell when Lynn looked at him through teary, puffy eyes.

“No,” she said softly rising from the sofa, leaving the room, going to her room closing the sliding doors.

Cordell went to the closed door. He turned to look at Al, and could see it in his eyes, that he was angry.

“Maybe we should just go,” Al said.

“No!” His voice boomed. “I can’t let this go Al, I love her,” he turned to the door, “did you hear that Lynn, I love you.”

“Come on Cordell, let's just go,” Al repeated.

“I don’t care, what Barbara says, I’m going to be happy, whether she likes it or not, I will see my children, and she will give me that damn divorce, I won’t allow Barbara to ruin what I have with Lynn, I love her Al, more than she knows.” Cordell yelled.

Lynn listened to Cordell. She loved him too. She has never been as happy with her life as she was in the past six months. It still scared her. Everything between them happen so fast. All my life I’ve been waiting for a man like Cordell, but now that I have him can I let go because of his vindictive ex wife? I want him, because I deserve him.

Lynn rose from the bed and slowly opened the door. Cordell turned towards her, the pain on his face pricked at her heart.

Cordell went to stand in front of her. Lynn looked up at him, frowning. She balled up her fist, and punched him in the chest; Cordell caught her hand, bringing it to his lips.

“Why didn’t you talk to me about this? She looked up at him.

“I’m sorry Baby, I didn’t know how to...,” he started.

“Cordell never shut me out again, I love you, and anything that affects you affects me,” she stated firmly.

“Yes ma’am,” Cordell said smiling, his heart full. He lifted her, her arms around his neck. “You still here Al,” Cordell said not looking at him.

  “I’m going,” Al laughed.

Cordell lips touched hers softly. Lynn sighed.

“Let me make love to you Cordell,” she asked softly. Cordell put her down; she went into the bedroom, as Cordell turned off the lights and locked the doors.

When he finally joined her Lynn lay naked on the bed.

“You're so beautiful,” he said softly, loving her even more while removing his clothing to lie beside her.

Lynn leaned up and pushed him down on the bed, she was on her knees she gently pressed her lips to his chest. Her mouth soft and gentle on his body. Lower her hot kisses trailed down his body. Her mouth on his hard stomach, the muscles contracting beneath her. She heard Cordell sighed. Her mouth was like butterfly wings on his body; she shifted her body and lay kneeled between his legs. Her mouth tenderly touched his throbbing manhood; she opened her mouth on the tip of him gently pulling him inside her mouth. Cordell groaned loudly. Slowly her mouth moved up and down on him, she licked him from the base of his manhood to the tip pulling him back into her mouth. Cordell hand gripped the comforter in his hands. She was driving him into frenzy, with her mouth, he felt a knotting forming in the pit of his stomach, and if she didn’t stop he would come.

“Baby,” he moaned. She didn’t stop, her mouth moving faster on him, her head bobbing up and down on him. Cordell raised his head and looked down at her, her hand rubbing his stomach softly, her touch igniting an excitement in him. Cordell reached down pulling her up, to straddle him, her hot, wet body, accepting his throbbing manhood. His body trembling, as she moved on him until both trembled with their release. When he was spent, and his body stopped trembling, Lynn smiled down at the passion on his face before she rolled off him to lie beside him. Cordell lay quiet and sated.

Lynn sat up to leave the bed. Cordell grabbed her arm. She looked back at him and smiled.

“I love you,” he said softly. She smiled and rose from the bed. A minute later she returned, with a warm cloth and a cold beer. Cordell was sitting up in the bed, his back pressed against the headboard. She handed him the beer, and begin to clean him. Cordell watched silently bathing him.

“You’re spoiling me,” he said softly.

“I love you, I want you to be happy,” she stated before leaving the room.

Cordell sat, his eyes closed, a smile on his face. He has never been so contented in his life, and he has never loved anyone as much as loved this tiny woman.

  “Hungry?” She asked.

“Yes,” he said placing his beer on the bedside table.

Cordell pulled her close to him. “Let's go away this weekend,” he suggested.

  “Where?”

  “To the Baltimore Harbor."

Lynn leaned up, looking at him smiling.

  “Really?” Lynn said excited.

“Does this please you?” He asked.

“Oh yes, I’ve always wanted to go there,” she said excitedly.

“Good, now are you going to quench my hunger?"

“Oh I’m sorry, What would you like, I have….”

“Everything’s right here,” he interrupted, his mouth covering hers.

  Chapter Five

The undefeated NJ Generals were bound for Miami, Florida for a week to defeat the undefeated Virginia Panther in a championship game. Cordell invited Lynn to join him for a semi vacation. After checking in and settling in their suite, Lynn could barely restrain her excitement, anxious to visit Miami's beautiful beaches, if only to stroll by moonlight with Cordell. She moved to the open glass door stepping out. Feeling a sense of peace while lo
oking out on the beautiful, clear Atlantic Ocean, she let out a contented sigh. She stood out on the balcony, took a cleansing breath, and moved to the rail to appreciate the magnificent view. Lynn leaned against the rail letting the calm tropical breeze blow across her face. Cordell joined her slipped his arms around her waist. When the limo picked her up, he almost didn’t recognize her. He saw her dressed before, and knew how stylish she is. Her beauty took his breath away. Her hair pulled back tightly giving her an elegant sophisticated look. The white linen dress, with the matching short jacket, and a narrow belt adorning her waistline emphasized her curvaceous body. The white strappy sandal completed the outfit.

“It's beautiful here,” she said turning to look back at him. Cordell moved to stand close behind her. She leaned back on him and closed her eyes. Cordell inhaled her scent reminding him of a clean summer breeze, freshly floral, with a soft hint of powder.

Lynn smiled. She could feel Cordell arousal against her. She rubbed her bottom against him, and grinned when she heard his sharp intake of air.

Cordell leaned close to her ear. “You behave before I lift this lovely dress, and take you right on this balcony.”

“Mm...,” she murmured, “now that would be something,” resting head against his chest.

Cordell hands moved caressingly up her dress. Lynn sighed. Cordell went further, his hand slipped between her legs stroking her. Lynn hands braced the rail of the balcony. He was going to make love to her, in broad daylight, right on this balcony. Thank goodness, they were on the top floor. Cordell eased her panties to her ankle, and released himself from his pants, guiding himself in her.

“Open up baby,” he said huskily. Her legs open just enough for him to enter into her.

“Now pushed that sweet ass back to me," her wetness making his moves more erratically.

“Cordell,” she moaned. Cordell was losing it. His strong hands clasped her waist, moving in her. Her head fell back, and she groaned loudly, just as he came in her, both collapsed on the rail.

  “Mm...” she moaned.

Cordell pulled from her. She lifted her feet from her discarded panties and as if entranced, she walked from the balcony into the suite, undressing as she moved. Cordell watched her mesmerized; he bent to pick up her panties and followed. She pulled the comforter down, and lay on the bed flat on her back, eyes closed, with her arms overhead tempting him.

Cordell looked down at himself, not surprised that he wanted her again. He was never this randy when he was young, but this hot woman had him wanting her all the time. Like the night, he drove all the way from Voorhees, to Vineland at three in the morning because he needed her. He was sure she was asleep. He let himself in and lay in the bed beside her. She sleepily called his name. Cordell took her into the comfort of arms, vowing he would never let go. I love you,” she whispered, and cuddled against him.

After a vigorous afternoon delight, they slept. Lynn woke to voices coming from the sitting room of the suite. One was clearly female. She heard Cordell laughing, and the female talking seductively to him. Lynn frowned.

“So you will meet me Cord, I’ve missed you,” she said sweetly. Lynn heart lurched. She took a shuttered breath.

She heard Cordell chuckle. “I don’t think so, I’m with someone now,” he said.

“Hey I don’t mind sharing, plus you like what I can do with my tongue,” the female voice cooed.

Cordell laughed, then silence, and then she heard when the door shut. Lynn rushed into the bathroom and turned on the shower stepping she leaned against the wall and closed her eyes, trying to control the wild beating of her heart and her hurt feelings. No, not this time she wasn’t going to cry, she was going to have the best time she ever had, with or without Cordell.

“Hey baby, you’re awake,” he called inside the bathroom. Lynn took a deep breath.

“You want to wash my back?” She called back to him. She would show him just how talented she was with her tongue.

  Cordell came into the bathroom.

“Join me Cordell,” Lynn invited him into the large glass enclosed shower.

He stepped in. Lynn moved so the water can beat his body. She squeezed some shower gel in her hand and began to bath him. She soaped her hands and massaged him, from his shoulder to his feet all done in total silence. She rose kissing from his taut stomach to his chest. Lynn bit him on his chest. Cordell flinched.

“Did I hurt you Baby?” She asked softly, then licked and tenderly kissed the injury. Lower she traveled until she was on her knees, gently holding his manhood her hand. She licked the length of him. From the base to the tip of his manhood, she pleasured him until he pleaded with her to stop. Cordell tried to pull her up, not wanting to explode in her mouth. She pushed his hands away and sucked with more voracity, until she literally pulled it from him. Cordell’s head fell against the shower wall, and he came.

Saying nothing, she rinsed her mouth and her body, leaving him leaning against the shower wall panting for breath.

Cordell watched her get out of the shower. His legs refused to move. Something was wrong he could feel it. When he got out of the shower, she stood in her underwear styling her hair. They were invited to a black tie reception dinner and dancing for the visiting teams. Silently Lynn dressed. If he spoke to her, she would reply with only a yes or no response. Oh yeah something was wrong. When she finished dressing, Cordell stared at her in awe. She looked beautiful and elegant. The plain elegant black gown she wore fit perfectly, the soft fabric skimming lovingly over her delectable body. Her shoulders were bare, except for the wide strap over her right shoulder. The squared neckline dipped giving a slight peek at her cleavage then smooth down to her small waist flared at her hips as her thigh peeking modestly through the slit that went to mid thigh. Cordell never thought shoes were sexy, but the strappy black high-heeled sandal she wore hugged her small feet turned him on. He was proud to have her on his arm. She was impeccable, from her head to her feet. The only jewelry she wore were the diamond earrings he had given her.

“You alright Baby?” Cordell asked, standing behind her.

She moved away from him smiling. “I’m fine,” she replied softly.

She picked up her small black clutch bag and went to the door. Frowning Cordell followed.

The party was in full swing when they arrived at the grand ballroom. Lynn smiled, waving when she saw Al.

“Man Lynn, you look beautiful.” Al complimented.

“Thanks Al, you look good too.” Lynn slipped her arm in Al, leaving Cordell at the door.

Al looked back at Cordell. Cordell shrugged his shoulder following behind them. Cordell watched the men standing around drooling with lustful expressions as she strolled by. Cordell grinned thinking to himself, that’s right, that’s me. Then he realized, she wasn’t beside him, she was walking away with Al. Cordell lengthened his stride catching up with them.

Cordell sat beside her and leaned toward her.

  “What wrong Lynn?” He whispered.

Lynn turned and glared at him. She was already tired of this game.

“Asked the woman with the skilled mouth, what’s wrong?” She turned away ignoring him giving the woman she was speaking with her full attention.

Al returned with the Melito is ordered, placing it down in front of her. Al and Cordell’s eyes met.

“Hey Cordell can I talk to you for a minute?” Al said.

Cordell leaned down to Lynn. “I'll be back Baby,” he whispered kissing her cheek.

Lynn looked over at him. “Tell her, I don’t like to share, would you please Baby,” she said through clenched teeth with a smile that was nothing like the beautiful smile he loved.

  Cordell frowned and followed Al.

“Cordell what going on with you and Lynn?” Al asked.

“Man I don’t know, but she pissed about something.”

“Yeah, cause she just got her second Melito, and she doesn’t drink liquor,” Al stated.

Cordell looked over at the table
, and noticed Lynn laughed and talked more than usual.

  “What happened?” Al asked.

“You remember Jackie, the one I see whenever I come to Miami,” Al nodded. “Well she came by my suite. Lynn was asleep; do you think she heard her?” Cordell shook his head confused. “After that she stopped talking to me, just short sarcastic, answers.”

  “Like what?”

“Just now she said told her, she doesn’t share… shit..., shit. I told Jackie I was with someone now. Jackie said she would share. Shit!” Cordell said.

Al laughed. “Seems like Lynn heard her.”

Cordell left Al and soon returned to the table. He stood looking down at Lynn.

Slowly her head turned, her eyes blinked slowly. Damnit, he thought she tipsy.

Cordell bent down and whispered in her ear.

“Come with me baby, we need to talk,” Cordell whispered.

Lynn looked at him. She loved him, why couldn’t she stay mad at him. She raised her hand to him, and Cordell helped her up. She moved in front of him. She walked slowly, her stride more pronounced and even more tempting. Every man's eye was on her when they passed by. Cordell stopped her and pulled her close to his side marking his territory. Cordell looked around the lobby for a secluded place. He found a spot behind a large potted palm.

Lynn had her head down. Cordell lifted her chin, until she looked at him.

“Baby, remember when you told me what affects me affects you.”

  “Yes,” Lynn said softly.

“The same applies to me, so tell me what's wrong?”

“I heard you with some woman, this afternoon; she was reminding you how much you liked what she can do with her mouth.”

Cordell smiled. Lynn frowned at him.

“She was a woman I dealt with whenever I came to Miami, that’s all, why would I meet her, not when I have you.”

“So if I weren’t here, you would?”

“I have no need to, because everywhere I go you will be right by my side,” Cordell his voice serious.
