Candice smiled from ear to ear as she grabbed his hand and climbed up onto the back of the horse, holding onto her man tightly.
He thanked the crew before tugging on the reins and trotting away. Candice held onto him, breathing in his rugged scent as they headed towards the setting sun.
“I always wanted to do this,” Rory said, grinning.
“Do what?”
“Ride off into the sunset with my girl,” he said. “It’s the end of every western movie.”
Candice smiled as she held him tight. It felt more like a romance movie than a western, but regardless of what it was, she was definitely getting her happy ending.
