“What do you mean by that? Brynn, you’re scaring me.” I couldn’t breathe. What was she saying? Did I even want to know?

“Don’t worry. I won’t ruin this weekend for you, knowing how much you’ve looked forward to it.”

“What do you mean? Are you breaking up with me?” I was regretting the ambush.

“I think we need a break.” She seemed calm and unmoved.

“Because I was an idiot and ran off unknowingly at the airport?” If that was the reason, then it would be shocking, but so was what was happening.

“What made you run off and leave me? Who was more important to you than me? Why am I always second choice?” She sat on the edge of the bed and put her face in her hands. Fuck! What have I done? How could I have made her feel that way? I sat next to her and put my arms around her.

“Brynn, you’ve never, ever been second choice for me. The fact that I make you feel that way is heartbreaking. Will you give me a chance to make it up to you? Will you sit down with me on Monday after our company leaves so we can talk it out? Or better yet, when you get off work tonight? We can stay up all night until we work it out. I don’t want to lose you. I can’t lose you! I don’t care about this weekend at all if it means I’m losing you. You’re my girl, my number one girl, and I don’t give a shit about anything else at this moment.” I was shaking and I was scared. Her eyes were full when she looked up at me.

“Okay. We’ll talk about it Monday. Right now I’m your number one girl.” She talked softly and held my hand. I could tell that something I’d said had made her reconsider and I took a deep breath. Tears of relief ran down my cheeks and her face softened even more.

“Sean,” she whispered, “I know you’re trying.” She put her arms around me and pulled my head to her shoulder as she stroked my hair. “I want this to be an amazing weekend for us. I want you to cast away any doubt I have about who I am to you.”

“Please tell me how to do that,” I begged.

“You’re doing okay right now,” she said. She kept stroking as she kissed my forehead. “Let’s start our weekend over,” she whispered. “I want to try something with you this weekend. Are you up for a challenge?”

I lifted my head and looked into her eyes. “Will it help us work this out?” She nodded. “Then I’m all in.”

“Good.” She smiled. “I’d like for both of us to keep in mind the conversation that we need to have on Monday. It’ll remind us of this moment, what we mean to each other, and how much we want to be together. We should think of this as the weekend that either makes or breaks us. If we knew we only had a couple of more days together, would that change the way we treat each other?” It was an interesting idea. I liked it. I put my hands on her face and caressed her cheeks with my thumbs.

“Baby, by Monday you won’t even remember how I disappointed you today. Thank you for giving me this chance, us this chance. We’re really great together.” I kissed her softly and she responded just as soft. I couldn’t wait to be alone with her later.

We walked into the kitchen hand in hand. Ethan and Gia were still ‘freshening up,’ so we grabbed a beer and I put on some music. We danced slow and made out. Brynn stopped when they emerged from the spare bathroom, but I pulled her back in and continued until the song ended. She smiled and winked at me afterwards, and I think she realized I was taking this challenge very seriously.

The four of us sat and had a couple of drinks together as we shared stories and laughter. I had the hotel limo come and pick us up. Ethan and Gia got checked in and we all had a glass of champagne in their suite before we headed to dinner. Brynn was feeling the alcohol and I knew she had to get some food in her and sober up before she went to work.

“I wish we had a room,” she whispered as we rode down in the elevator.

“Why?” I knew but I wanted to hear her say it.

“I’m horny and I want you to take care of me.” It sent a shiver across my shoulders and heat down to my bulge.

“I can take care of the room if you can come up with the excuse,” I told her. She smiled her naughty smile and I knew I’d be alone with her in no time.

As soon as we ordered, Brynn reached in her purse and gasped. Here we go! “I left my phone in the suite,” she said.

“Here.” Ethan handed me their keycard. He didn’t seem to suspect a thing and Gia had gone to the restroom.

“I’m sorry,” Brynn told me. “I’ll come with you.”

“Okay.” I shrugged. “If you want to.”

We both looked at Ethan, who was busy checking his own phone. He glanced up. “Go ahead, before the food comes.” He had no idea.

“We’re going to hell for lying.” I pulled Brynn into the service elevator and pushed the button.

“I got us the excuse and the room,” she said.

“You want to go to their room?”

  “Why not?”

I pushed the button for their floor and shook my head. “You’re a bad, bad girl,” I told her.

We hurried down the hall and to their suite. Once inside, Brynn took my hand and led me into the small bathroom. “They probably won’t even use this one,” she said. She kicked off her heels and peeled off her jeans. I followed her lead and was soon bottomless, too.

She took my erection and stroked it as she kissed me seductively. I massaged her clit and fingered her firmly as she moaned against my mouth. I picked her up and set her on the vanity before I went to my knees and tasted her sweetness. Her feet were on my shoulders and her head went back against the mirror.

I grabbed a condom from my wallet and she hopped off the vanity and took me into her mouth before I could get it on. It felt amazing as she sucked with a perfect rhythm and ran her teeth around the head.

“Brynn, baby, that feels so good.”

She pulled me up and hopped back on the vanity while I put the condom on. I slowly slid two fingers into her and she moaned.

“I’m ready,” she panted. “I want you.” She grabbed the front of my shirt and pulled me to her waiting mouth. Her legs locked around me as I slid inside her. She felt unbelievable and I took her hard and fast. We built up together and as we did, we found each other’s eyes.

“Ahh, Sean.” She tightened around me and I met her easily.

  “Yes, Brynn.”

We held each other as we caught our breath. “Now that’s what you call a quickie,” I told her. She laughed.

“I liked it a lot,” she said. “Thank you for being there for me when I needed you.”

“It’s really nice to be needed.” I squeezed her before I released her to get cleaned up and dressed. We flushed everything and giggled as we made sure the soap and towels were just as they were before we’d used them. “I feel like I’m sixteen and my mom and dad will be walking in any minute.”

“I feel like you’re my secret lover and my husband’s going to be home any second.” We laughed and raced to the door. As soon as I got her in the elevator, I took her in my arms and put my lips to her ear.

“You make me happy,” I said. Her smile told me I made her happy, too. She kissed me until the door opened. We straightened ourselves up as we hurried back to our table. The food had just come and we began to devour it like we’d just devoured each other.

“Jesus, you two. Are we in an eating contest?” Gia asked.

Brynn and I looked at each other, wondering if we’d blown our cover. “Sorry,” I said. “We skipped lunch.” I winked at Brynn.

“Speaking of lunch, I told Ethan about the burger, fries, and milkshake lunch we’ve had a couple of times and we were hoping to have it while we’re here,” Gia said.

  “Of course,” I answered.

“I figured you two have it all the time,” Gia told Brynn. “So if you’re tired of it, it’s okay.”

“Actually, I don’t think we ever have, have we?” Brynn looked at me.

“Um, not that I remember,” I said.

The silence was awkward and I wondered what the big deal was
. Did I need to explain to everyone that the difference between the way Gia and Brynn saw food were as different as night and day?

“This meal is fabulous,” Ethan said.

“It always is. We eat here often,” Brynn told him. “I’m a bit of a finicky eater.” She smiled at me. “Sean’s really great about making choices he knows I’ll like.” I smiled back, knowing she was defending me about not taking her to the burger place. She was so awesome. I leaned and she met my lips halfway.

“You two are really great together,” Gia said.

“Yeah, we are.” Brynn and I said in unison. The awkward silence was gone for the rest of the evening.

After dinner we walked around the shops in the hotel. Brynn and I were hand in hand the entire time and I felt closer than ever to her. We took a cab back to my place to get the Tahoe and I crossed town as slowly as I could to drop Brynn at work.

“Ethan and I will see you in a couple of hours,” Gia told her.

“And I’ll see you at two,” I told her.

The three of us drove around the city for a while. I showed them the part of town we’d skipped when I’d taken them on their separate tours in June. I’d skipped the rough part of town, the part where Brynn lived. I pointed out her building and they asked me if it was safe for her.

“No, not really,” I said. “But I can’t tell her where to live or work. I asked her to move in with me, but she said it was too soon. She’s not willing to give up her own place. She’s irritatingly independent.”

“That’s tough,” Ethan said. “I’d be worried sick if Gia was alone in a place like that.”

“We spend most nights together,” I told him. “Plus, Brynn doesn’t take lightly to people telling her what to do. I knew I had to just accept it and I have. For now.”

I pulled into Sashay and parked. “I’ve decided to join you two,” I said.

“What? Brynn could lose her job!” Gia scolded.

“Relax,” I told her. “There are only two girls here who’ve met me and they’re good friends of Brynn’s, so I’m sure they aren’t going to rat her out. I just have to keep my cool, which I think I can do. You guys watch me. If you see trouble brewing, get me out of there.”

Ethan chuckled and Gia shook her head. “Honestly,” she said. “Look who else doesn’t like people telling them what to do. This better not backfire on you. We want Brynn with us at the concert tomorrow night, so don’t go getting dumped right before because you’re too pig-headed to listen!” She half sighed, half growled. Ethan and I cracked up at her outburst.

“Don’t worry about it,” I told her. “If it’s too much, I’ll go. I promise.”

We walked in and I scanned the room while we waited to show our IDs to the bouncer. It was a nice place, a lot like I remembered it from the bachelor party years before. The main stage lined the back wall and there was a pole on each side of it. Another stage came out from the center of that one and into the center of the bar area. Chairs lined both sides and there was a single pole right in the middle. Men sat with money in front of them, waiting for dancers. Lights flashed with the beat of the music where the dancers were, but the tables on the floor stayed dimly lit and had a nice ambiance to them.

Gia led us to a table and a topless waitress was taking our drink order within seconds. She was a decent looking brunette with a nice smile, but her boobs were tiny. The two dancers on the bar stage were also brunettes. They were leggy and had much bigger racks. One was on the pole, doing a hell of a job too, and one was crawling toward the money with an I’ll-chew-you-up-and-spit-you-out look on her face. I shivered. I didn’t see anyone who came even close to having the looks or moves that Brynn had, but then again, I didn’t expect to.

A new song started and two more dancers strutted onto the stage. “Let’s hear it for Candy and Bella,” the announcer said. The guys on the side of the stage erupted with cheers and applause. The two new girls were much better dancers and they had the crowd fired up. One of them jumped up the pole and spun around upside down while her legs were doing the splits. The other had some guy’s face in her chest while she gyrated to “Welcome to the Jungle.” I was thoroughly entertained, and as I glanced over at Gia and Ethan, they were, too.

“Twenty-one fifty, handsome,” the waitress said in my ear as she set our drinks on the table.

“Keep it,” I told her as I handed her thirty. She smiled and winked. The three of us raised our bottles to each other and drank. It was too loud to make a toast, but we were all smiling from ear to ear. It was going to be one hell of a night.

I became interested in the way the place ran. After all, the most important person in my life worked there, I should know something about it. I watched the waitresses go from the tables to the bar and back again. I watched the dancers as they mingled with the customers at the tables, sometimes giving them a little dance right where they sat and sometimes taking them by the hand back to another area I couldn’t quite see from where I sat. There were big bouncers scattered throughout and even a couple important looking guys in suits mingling with the patrons. I heard something that made me turn my head and when I did, there she was.

My gorgeous girl was leaning in, right between Gia and Ethan, with her arms across each of their shoulders, shaking her head at me and smiling. She had a sexy little white number on, and as she leaned toward me, I could see her soft tan skin almost to her belly button ring. I got an instant hard-on.

“I’m sorry,” I mouthed to her. She winked at me.

“Be good,” she mouthed back. I nodded enthusiastically, which made her laugh. She said something to Ethan and Gia and ran her hand across the back of my shoulders and neck before she flowed across the room. I watched every head turn toward her as she approached and every neck twist to watch as she passed. No wonder her name was Angel, she looked like one.

The music stopped and the dancers strutted back stage as the announcer came on. “And now, here she is, your favorite and mine…Angel.” The place exploded and we had to stand to see her.

Her back was to the crowd and her head moved precisely with each beat of the drums. She was dressed all in white from her silk and lace bodice to her all lace panties to her white stockings held up by white garter belt, and of course, white stilettos. Fuck, she’s hot. My heart beat wildly as I felt adrenaline pump through my body with every move she made. The guitar kicked in and her head went round and round, tossing her bouncy blonde locks with it.

I recognized the song, and as soon as she whipped around, I remembered the exact moment, in my living room, when I last heard it. She had the same sweet look on her face then as Hagar belted out the lyrics. She’d like you to think she was born yesterday with her innocent looks and her little town ways. I smiled and chuckled. Then she smiles at me, she’s got angels in her eyes. Oh, yes, that would be her. But I’ve seen how she moves and this girl really cooks, she taught me some tricks you can’t learn in books…The song fit her to a T. Well, except for the main line, The girl gets around, but I knew the truth.

She danced her way across the main stage, wowing everyone with her spot on moves and precisely timed jump onto and off of each pole. She began down the bar stage and her moves were as seductive and sexy as they were in my living room, with my sweats on. She jumped to the pole and worked it like she invented the fuckin’ thing. I was breathing heavy by then and when the waitress came by, I ordered another round. I wasn’t going anywhere.

The song came to an end and the roof about came off the place. Another song started and it was slower, I didn’t recognize it at first. Brynn leaned her back against the pole, closed her eyes, and slid up and down it with her hands above her head. Her mouth moved with the lyrics and her expression gave me goose bumps. Her eyes opened and she kicked her legs in the air, throwing herself up and onto the pole. She moved slowly, mesmerizing the entire bar as she seemed to make love right before our eyes. It was moving and erotic and I couldn’t tear my eyes away.

  “Twenty-one fifty, sexy,” s
omeone with big tits whispered in my ear. I grabbed my wallet and handed the entire thing to her.

“Jesus, Sean.” I heard Gia laugh as she took it from her. “Our turn,” she said and handed it back to me.

The place exploded again when Brynn’s song ended and she blew kisses out to the audience. As she turned toward us, our eyes locked and she gave me a wink to go along with her beaming smile. She loved dancing, it was obvious.

Two girls ran out and joined Brynn as the music started again. It was a Motley Crue song and the three of them rocked it in sync. One of them reached up and pulled the tie on the back of Brynn’s bodice. The guys cheered. Then Brynn did the same to her and before I knew what had happened, the three of them had undressed each other down to G-strings. I realized the song was “Same Ol Situation” and talked about girl on girl. Luckily I realized that before they took turns groping each other’s tits and kissing each other or I may have freaked a little, but it was fucking hot and I had to admit it.

The song ended and I thought a couple of the guys in the front row may need to be resuscitated after what they’d witnessed, but it looked like they’d gotten ahold of themselves.

“Give it up for Angel!” the announcer said. “If you want a private dance from her, you’d better get in line, ‘cause she’s nearly booked for the night,” he added.

I grabbed the nearest dancer. “How do I get a private dance from Angel?” She pointed to a cage by the entrance.

I paid my one hundred dollars for ten minutes and couldn’t wait until my turn at 1:30 a.m. I walked back to the table with a huge smile on my face. I fuckin’ loved this place. My phone beeped, it was a text from Brynn.

Meet me at the back door. Gia can smoke.

My heart raced just thinking of seeing and talking to her. She was so amazing. Gia and Ethan were happy to go for a smoke. We left our drinks on the table in hopes that no one would take it. As we rounded the corner to the back door, I heard Brynn’s laughter. The girl she was talking to tossed her cigarette butt and went inside. I picked her up and swung her around, making her laugh even more.
