Feels So Right, It Must Be Wrong 2

Knowledge then turned to Asia. “Asia, I want to apologize to you also. I should have never led you on from the jump, but I was being selfish. I saw something I wanted so I went after it, already knowing I had something at home. I can honestly admit that I love you, too. You and Wysdom mean a lot to me.”

He paused and took a deep breath.

“I called the both of you over here because I felt like I owed both of you a sincere apology. I don’t want any tension between the two of you because, whether you like it or not, you two are going to be a part of my life for forever. My daughters will grow up together and be close to each other. Serenity already knows Asia and loves her dearly, and I want Wysdom to feel the same way about Chelsea. I don’t want any bullshit out of either one of you,” he said seriously.

Asia got up and walked over to him.

“Omari, you know better than to tell me what to do. Anyways, the doctors called and I will be going to pick Wysdom up Saturday. That’s three days. Symir and Cole are throwing her a welcome home party. You can come if you want to,” she said before walking out of the den.

“Oh, I forgot something,” she said as she walked over to Chelsea. She punched her in the face. “Next time, keep your hands to yourself.”

Chelsea just sat there holding her face. She didn’t say anything or bust a move because she knew she deserved that. Knowledge ran his hand over his face and shook his head. Sometimes Asia was just too much, but he loved her feistiness.

“Well gentlemen, I think it's about that time,” Cordae said.

  “About damn time!” Linx exclaimed.

“From what I heard, there’s a party for her baby tomorrow, so we can get her then,” C said.

“Hold up, what the fuck we gon do? Run up in there and get her?” asked Linx.

Cordae just shook his head at his ignorant cousin.

“No, C is going to be the lookout and call us when the time is right. I know Asia. She can't sit her ass still for nothing so I know eventually she’ll end up leaving, even if it is for a quick second,” Cordae explained.

The moment he had been waiting for was slowly approaching. He knew that if they took Asia, Symir would be knocked off his game and would start fucking up. Then he would call Vinny again and tell him how Symir had been fucking up and his head been gon ever since Asia went missing.

Vinny wouldn't have a choice but to let Cordae handle all the shipments and money. Then he would slowly take over and become the boss. Symir would have to answer to him. He wanted this so bad he could taste it.

“Yo, Cordae, what you plan on doing to the bitch once you put your plan in motion?” Linx asked.

  “Uhh…”

Cordae was stuck and didn't have an answer. He was so focused on getting Asia that he never thought about what he was going to do with her once he got her.

“Don't even trip. I have some ideas of what we can do with her,” C spoke up.

“I have a few ideas of my own,” Linx smiled sinisterly.

“Let's not worry about that bridge until we get there,” Cordae finally answered.

Taking Asia was probably one of best things he had come up with. He would be hurting everyone who had hurt him in the process. He would be hurting Khyree, Knowledge and, most of all, Symir.

Asia was walking around her house grabbing stuff for Wysdom that she might need. As she already knew, Symir was not letting her leave his house anytime soon, so she had to come pack some things for her daughter. It had been months since the last time she stepped foot in this house. A funny feeling came over her but she shook it off.

She was so happy that she finally got to bring her baby girl home. She had been at that hospital long enough. Too long if you ask me, Asia thought to herself as she continued packing stuff. Now her life was finally about to be complete since she would have both of her babies with her. She was rushing to hurry up and get back to the house like she was going to miss something.

She froze when she thought she heard a noise coming from downstairs. She slowly walked out of the room and crept to the stairs. She stood still to see if she would hear the noise again but she didn’t so she went back into the nursery and grabbed the bag.

As she walked down the stairs, she was double checking the bag to make sure she had everything. When she looked up, she was standing with the barrel of a gun in her face. Silently thanking God that her daughter wasn’t there, she looked at the masked man with squinted eyes. She was beginning to regret her choice of getting rid of all the firearms she had in the house when she had shot the intruder. Had she knew this was about to go down, she would have come down the stairs with her guns blazing.

“Are you going to fucking stare at me all day or tell me what the fuck you want?” Asia said, agitated.

“You got a smart mouth for somebody with a gun pointed at them,” the gun man, which was Linx, said.

“Yea and you clearly don’t know what to do with it,” Asia said as she looked out the corner of her eye when she saw movement. Rounding the corner from her kitchen was another masked man, but this one wasn’t armed. Immediately Asia recognized that walk.

“This is a bitch move. You could have at least came harder than this.” Asia chuckled as she shook her head.

Linx rushed Asia, knocking her to the ground. Fighting with him to get off of her, she dug her nails in his face and scratched him.

“Ahhhh! Stupid bitch!” he yelled. He took the gun and slapped Asia upside her head with it, instantly knocking her out. Blood slowly started leaking from the gash on her head as he grabbed some rope from his accomplice to tie her up.

Everyone was at Symir’s house waiting for Asia to come back. They had thrown Wysdom a welcome home party because this was a big deal for them. Knowledge sat in the backyard holding his daughter in his arms, not wanting to let her go. He had waited so long for the day he would be able to hold her and not have to leave her at the hospital anymore.

Symir and Cole were starting to get worried because Asia had left two hours ago. It didn’t take that long because they lived in the same neighborhood. Both Symir and Cole had been blowing her phone up. Neither of them wanted to say anything and alert anyone just in case they were overacting.

Symir knew that wasn’t the case though. Something in his gut was telling him that something wasn’t right. His gut had never steered him wrong before and he knew it wasn’t about to steer him wrong now.

“Did you call her?” he asked Cole and Knowledge.

“We keep getting her voicemail,” Knowledge said as he fed Wysdom her bottle.

“This shit not right. I’m about to go see what’s up with her,” Symir said as jumped out of his seat.

“Yo, I’m coming with you,” Knowledge yelled.

“Hell, you know I’m rolling,” Cole said just as Crystal walked over for her grandbaby.

“I’m not going to ask, but be safe, please,” she said to her three boys.

The whole ride to Asia’s house, Symir couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. It wasn’t like Asia to not answer her phone. You could call her at three o’clock in the morning and whether she was sleeping or not, she would still answer.

When they pulled up to her house her car wasn’t in the driveway.

“Bruh, I didn’t come strapped because I didn’t want to disrespect the party like that,” Cole said.

“And I didn’t because I had Wysdom with me,” Knowledge said.

“No worries. Knowledge look in the glove compartment,” Symir said.

Knowledge opened the glove compartment and there sat four Desert Eagles. Knowledge shook his head. Symir stayed prepared for shit to go down. After everyone grabbed a gun, they went into the house. Symir was praying that Asia had just left here and was on her way back to his house.

When they walked in the house, Knowledge’s attention immediately went towards the blood at the bottom of the stairs. Fearing the worst, he alerted Symir and Cole.<

  “Y’all look!”

Cole and Symir ran to the stairs and Symir’s heart dropped down in his chest. “No.” He shook his head. “This shit ain’t real,” he said.

The TV was left on and there was a special breaking news report.

Hello, I’m Judith Helm coming to you live with breaking news. Police have been on the scene of what seems to be a car that was intentionally set on fire. The car has been burning for well over an hour here on I-95. The police are suspecting foul play was involved because this part of the highway was closed down due to construction. Police are asking for information from anyone who may have witnessed this crime. From what we know, there has been a body found in the vehicle but it was too badly burned to identify who it was.

Linx and Cordae sat in the house watching the news with smiles on their faces. Their plan had worked perfectly. They went in and out without any problems this time.

“That car on fire shit was brilliant, Linx,” Cordae smiled.

“I know. You think they’ll fall for it?” he asked.

“Hell yea. Symir don’t deal with the police too much so he won’t want anyone doing investigations and shit like that,” Cordae answered.

Their eyes shifted to the monitor where they watched Asia finally waking up. Linx took it upon himself to go down there and check on her.

Asia looked around and noticed that her arms and legs were tied to a bed and she was only in her panties and bra. She started panicking and wondering where the hell she was.

“How nice of you to join us.” Linx smiled.

Asia squinted her eyes, trying to see if she knew him from somewhere but she didn’t. She wanted so badly to cuss him out but she couldn’t because her mouth was taped shut, preventing her from lashing out. All she knew was that she recognized his voice, he was the one who attacked her and the nail marks in his face confirmed it.

Linx walked closer to Asia and got closer to her ear.

“Let’s see how much your bitch ass brother cares about you. Maybe I’ll sample the pussy before I get rid of you. Or, maybe I’ll treat you like I did that worthless crack head bitch, Nika.” He smiled sinisterly.

At that moment, Asia knew who he was. She had never had any personal run-ins with Linx, but she had heard plenty about him from both Nika and Symir. Lord, please let my brother come in here with his guns blazing.
