We get to the VIP section and see Lily, Taylor and Caleb but Riley is nowhere to be seen yet. Lily is busy dancing with a couple of girls and Taylor and Caleb are sipping on their beers, overlooking the crowd. They notice us, and Caleb walks over. Caleb is Max and Maisy’s oldest child and he’s always been a close friend.

“Fin!” He claps me on the back. “We knew you three favoured this club, so we thought we’d check in and see if you’re out tonight.”

“We’re celebrating.” I announce and his eyes widen. Taylor, Leo’s oldest, joins us and Caleb turns to him.

“Lunacy are celebrating.” He tells him.

“Celebrating what?” Taylor asks, looking at the three of us.

“We have a new member.” Liam teases and both Taylor and Caleb look shocked.

“Really?” They ask at the same time.

“A girl.” Caden wiggles his eyebrows.

Caleb laughs loudly, shouting Lily over. When she sees us she gives us all a cuddle of welcoming. Lily is a rarity, she’s hard as nails and crazy talented and as long as you don’t cross her, she’s an extremely loyal friend.

  “What’s up guys?” She asks.

“Lunacy here, are bringing a girl into their band.” Taylor informs her. “Seems a little familiar right?”

“Oh god.” Lily laughs. “Guys, we’re not the only band to have a girl in it.”

“And that’s not what’s happening.” I interrupt. “Riley will be more of an extension from the band, for features and that. We want some female vocals on our new album but we don’t want different voices, and Riley has a great voice which suits us.”

  “That sounds cool.” Caleb nods.

“Wait,” Lily jumps up. “Riley James?”

  “Yeah, why?” I ask.

“I know Riley!” She smiles, beginning to look around. “Where is she? Is she here?”

“She’s meeting us here.” Liam answers her, because I’m too busy thinking how exactly Lily knows Riley.

“How do you know her?” I ask and Lily looks taken back by the sharp tone of my voice.

“Relax Lily.” Caleb rolls his eyes. “Fin has a hard cock for Riley.”

Lily bursts out laughing. “Good luck with that one.” She takes a sip of her drink. “We bumped into each other at some award show, just met like all the other singers and bands do.”

Lily returns to her friends, taking Caleb with her. I look at my phone to see if Riley has text or called, but I find nothing. A beautiful hostess enters the VIP area, walking right up to me.

“Hi Mr Parker, I’m Tiana and I’ll be looking after you tonight.” She blatantly bites down on her bottom lip. “Would you like anything to drink?”

Tiana is making it obvious that she’s not interested in taking my drink order, no she would rather I bend her over and fuck her, not caring who would be watching. I look her over, she’s petite with dark skin and even darker hair. Her bright red lipstick stands out and so do her large tits that are packed into her tiny dress. Tiana is so desperate for me, that she wouldn’t even be a challenge and a week or so ago, I probably would have taken her to a back room and given her what she wanted. Not now though, when I look at her I can appreciate her beauty but it stops there. I’m not interested.

“I’ll take a jager bomb gorgeous.” I wink, and with a giggle she asks the others.

“Oh shit.” Lily laughs, “There’s Riley!”

I look to Lily and see her pointing down to the regular dancing bodies. She’s here? An excited thrill rushes through me, but I ignore it and walk over to Lily. The VIP area is a floating platform above a section of the dancefloor, and Lily is standing at the glass wall edge, looking down. When I join her, Lily points Riley out to me and as I squint, I finally set eyes on her. My happiness at finding out Riley has turned up is short lived when I see she’s dancing with another guy and his fucking hands are all over her. Riley’s smiling, her hands in the air as the base drops and I’m pissed.

“You ok?” Lily asks me, but I continue to glare down at Riley as she sways her luscious hips onto someone who’s not me. “Fin?”

“She should be up here.” I grind out.

“She’s probably just having some fun before she comes up.” Lily tried to calm me. “If you’re that bothered, go down and get her.” I hear the daring tone to her voice, and when I remove my eyes from Riley and look to Lily, she’s smirking.

“Fine.” I snap, turning to find Tiana holding my drink. I snatch it off her, and quickly manage to drink it before I leave the VIP area.

“Finley.” Dave holds out his arm. “I can’t let you go down there.”

“I’ll be fine Dave.” I pat his arm, but he doesn’t move it.

“I can’t let you go alone.”

“Fine, then come with me.” I step around him, and storm into the huge sweaty crowd. People stare as I walk by, but I don’t pay them any attention. All my focus is taken by Riley and trying to find her and when I see her, still dancing with the prick, I decide enough is enough. “Riley.” I greet her and shock shows for just a second but she returns to grinding on the guy and he has the nerve to flash me a victorious smile.

“You must be Finley.” A pretty girl holds out her hand. She wears a big smile and her curls bounce as dances. “I’m Cassie, Riley’s best friend.”

“Nice to meet you Cassie.” I shake her hand, and her eyes flash behind me. I can only assume she’s just spotted Dave.

Looking back to Riley, I notice her outfit and I have to clench my jaw to stop it from hitting the floor. She’s wearing a tight, black skirt which rests above her belly button and stops before her knees. It hugs her mouth-watering curves in a way that means I almost don’t pay her upper body any notice. Almost. But as her hands glide from her thighs and up her exposed slither of skin and then to the black material that just covers her breasts, I’m left helpless. I want to be the fucker behind her, I want to touch her kiss on her neck. Deciding that he’s had enough fun for one night, I reach out and wrap my arm around her waist, feeling her soft skin. Riley gasps as I pull her away from him and towards me, flush against my body.

  “Oi!” The prick shouts.

“Dance is over.” I order and bring Riley to walk with me, casting a glance behind to see Cassie following.

“What are you doing?” Riley questions.

I gesture to Dave. “Riley meet my bodyguard Dave, he doesn’t like me being down here so let’s get up to VIP ok?”

“I was enjoying myself.” She argues.

“But tonight is about us celebrating.” I turn to face her, my eyes burning into hers. “You’re with me tonight.” Riley opens her mouth to answer, but she comes up empty and I take the opportunity to continue walking. “I have some friends with us too.”

“Who?” She asks, but I leave that for her to find out herself and I’m glad I did, because when I arrive with her back at the VIP, she spots Lily right away and they run to each other like long lost friends.

“Lily!” Riley shouts, a huge smile on her face.

“Oh my god Riles, it’s been too fucking long!” Lily wraps her arms around Riley and they both laugh.

“I know.” Riley nods. “I take it you’ve heard?”

“About you and Lunacy? Yes!” Lily nods. “You’re going to be amazing.”

Lily then sees Riley’s friend standing behind her and her face lights up again. “Cassie?”

“The very one.” Cassie laughs, holding out her arms. “I thought you had forgotten me.”

“Never!” Shouts Lily, launching herself into Cassie’s arms.

“Ok, who is the caramel skinned stunner?” Liam whispers into my ear.

“That’s Riley’s best friend, Cassie.” I know the look on Liam’s face. “If I can’t go there with Riley, the same rule applies to you seeing as it’s her best friend.”

Liam thinks about this, whilst staring at Cassie. “Fine, you’re free to do what you like.”

I laugh. “I was going to anyway, but now that I
have your blessing, I know there won’t be an argument.”

I watch as Riley walks up to the private bar and decide to join her. I take in the view of her delectable ass as I approach from behind.

“Take a picture, it lasts longer.” Riley turns around, a cheeky smile in place.

“I’ll hold you to that.” I point out and earn a laugh from her. “Why weren’t you up here?”

Riley shrugs. “When we got here it was empty and everyone looked like they were having fun downstairs.”

“Well, we can have our own fun right here.” I lean in close.

“Can we?” Riley asks, looking down at my mouth.

“Whatever you like.” I take another step closer, and right when I think that this is my chance, Riley steps back.

“Oh Finny boy, do you really think I’m that easy?” She laughs, and I grimace at how hard my cock is right now.

I shake my head, “You’re hard work.”

Riley places her hand on the spot between my shoulder and neck. “And you will never get your hands on my pussy.”

The bar man places her drink in front of her, and with a gracious smile, she takes it and returns to Cassie and Lily. Meanwhile I’m left with the hardest cock I’ve ever had.

  Chapter Six

By the time Monday comes around, I’m still feeling a little rough from the ‘celebratory’ night out. Finley was dangerous with his flirting, all night long and at one point I had to escape to the toilets just so I could clear my head. With the drinks, his flirting and the music, it was getting too much to ignore him and I have to. I can’t let Finley get to me and I can’t let him have me in his bed, because I know that’s all he wants. As soon as he has me, ready and naked under him, he’ll be done and then I’ll be left pissed with him because he used me and then that won’t be good for what we all have planned together. I don’t do players, I don’t like womanizers and I don’t want to be one of Finley’s booty calls.

“You ready for your flight?” Cassie asks, joining me in the living area.

I grumble a reply and she just laughs. “How can you be so happy?”

“I don’t get hangovers, remember.” She jumps down on the sofa opposite and I glare over at her.

Today, I fly to America for a charity performance, at The Little Stars awards, and I’m really looking forward to it. I told the band this, because realistically I can’t start on any songs until I come back. They all understand the commitments of the music world, all too well. Cassie has work, so it looks like it’s just me on my American trip. My bag is all packed and apart from my tired head, I’m all ready to go.

Later on that day, as I’m just about to board the plane I get a text from Finley. He wishes me luck on my performance, and that my journey is safe. I stand still and stare at the message on my phone screen, smiling like a goof. Instead of ignoring him like I did last time, I decide to reply. Thanking him for his well wishes, with an added smiley face emoji, of course.

“Miss James?” Asks the flight attendant.

“Sorry, last minute text.” I offer her a smile, and stepping onto the plane. I might hate my manager, but he sure does arrange top class travel for me wherever I go.

Before my performance, I have a mini interview and I thought I was ready for her questions, until right at the end the interviewer throws me.

“There’s been some rumours circulating about you and Finley Parker.” She points out. “Do you have anything to say about that?”

I stare at her for a couple of seconds, she’s completely thrown me, but I can’t let her know that.

“Finley Parker?” I ask, with a small smile. “No, we’re just friends.”

Her dark eyebrow rises. “How did you two meet?”

I don’t know how to answer this one because I don’t know if I’m supposed to say anything about collaborating with Lunacy. So I make something up. “I met Lily at an awards show, and we all know that Lily’s and Finley’s dads are in Decoy together, so when I was with Lily one night, we ran into Finley and the rest of the guys.” Not a complete lie, but it wasn’t the truth either.

“You were both seen in a nightclub together, looking pretty cosy and witnesses say Finley was jealous you were dancing with someone else.” Holy shit! Witnesses? What the fuck is this?

I begin to laugh, to fill in the silence while I think and also let it seem I’m not bothered by her questions. “No, that wasn’t how it went at all.” I laugh some more, giving my assistant the eye to let her know that I’ve had enough of these questions. “His bodyguard was worried about my safety and Finley was just coming to let me know and escort me back to VIP.”

“Ok, I think that’s all.” My assistant, Jade, steps in. “Riley has to prepare for tonight.”

I quickly stand from my seat and shake the interviewer’s hand. Jade follows as we escape the small room, letting me know what time I have to be in rehearsal and when I need to be in my dressing room.

“Thanks for saving me back there.” I thank her as walk.

“Oh it’s no problem.” She smiles. “I was going to jump in anyway though, those questions were off the script and too personal.”

“I don’t mind them asking about my life, because they’re just curious. It’s when they try and catch you, like back there.” I fan myself, it suddenly turned very hot back in that interview room.

We reach my dressing room, my outfit for the charity awards that is being held tomorrow hangs up beside what I’ll be wearing for my performance tonight. I have a little bag that matches my evening dress so I can stuff some tissues into it, because I know I will be crying later on. These awards are notorious for bringing at least a tear to your eyes as it’s for children who are ill and are looking for help, and the charities they attend. Some children are carers for family members and need support and some awards are given to kids who raise incredible amounts of money for the charities who help these children. It’s an amazing night, and I love being a part of it. Tonight, will be my third year taking part and helping and I don’t intend to stop. The Little Stars mean so much to me, and I love helping these kids. My performance tonight, along with other bands and singers, is free and have helped sell a shit load of tickets, which will then go towards the funds that are raised tomorrow.

I only have to wait ten minutes for one of the event organisers to knock on my door and let me know that my slot for rehearsal is free. Usually my assistant would follow and watch, but I let Jade relax for a little while and I walk toward the stage alone. I’ve practised this song’s routine a lot, so there’s no need but I have to in order to pass the event’s organisers check list. My dancers meet me beside the stage, some of them are closer to me than others. A microphone is handed to me, spot lights are finalised and my music begins. I start to sing and by the time the chorus hits, I’m joining the dancers in the middle of the stage. When I’m performing, it goes by in a blur and I love every single second and I don’t want it to end. As I hit my end note, the dancers pause and the spot light shuts off. When the darkness is erased, we all relax and I hear a clapping from the side. I turn around, thinking someone is playing a joke, but when I see Finley sat in the stalls I have to blink three times to see if my eyes are playing tricks on me.

“Finley?” I ask, having to raise my voice a little so he can hear me. “What are you doing here?”

He smiles, standing from his seat and approaches the stage. Event organisers assist him as he comes down from the stalls. Finley points to the back as he walks by the stage, indicating that he wants to meet backstage. Nodding, I hand back the microphone and meet Finley in private.

“What are you doing here?” I repeat, laughing as he walks towards me. The last time I saw Finley, we were both in a nightclub in England, now he’s in America and I have to believe this isn’t a coincidence otherwise he would have said something to me. Wouldn’t he?

“I wanted to come and watch you perform.” He shrugs, as if flying here is nothing. “And take you out for dinner.” Finley smiles, an
d I remind myself once more that I cannot go there with him. He’s like this with all the girls he wants in his bed. I’m just on his radar right now and as soon as someone else catches his eye, I will be forgotten.

“Dinner?” I ask, I am hungry but should I say yes?

Finley nods, looking me over and I suddenly feel as if I’m standing in front of him naked. “I’m taking you out.”

  “I don’t get a say in this?” I ask.

“No.” He shakes his head, stepping closer. “After you perform tonight, you will come with me to dinner.”

“Fine.” I agree, and I ignore the argument going off inside of my head. I should have said no, but why should I turn down food with Finley? We do need to get on if we’re going to be working together and at least if we’re having something to eat Finley can’t be flirting all of the time. Not like he was in the club anyway.

I try not to notice how much Finley looks pleased with himself.

“You were amazing by the way.” He adds and I tuck a stray piece of hair behind my ear.

“Thank you.” I breathe, still a little breathless from all the dancing. “I’m guessing I won’t be dancing like that for our songs.”

“Not that we planned to, but if I get to see you dancing like that again I’m sure we can think of something.” His grey eyes twinkle, I’m pretty sure of it and without noticing, I laugh and Finley smiles in reaction.

Dammit I don’t want him to know he’s getting to me!

“Funny, I can really see Caden dancing around the stage.” I remark, trying to get away from the flirting territory Finley always seems to find himself in.

“You be surprised what a man can do.” Finley replies and I have to look away from the intensity shining from his eyes.

“Ok Finley.” I step away to try to gather myself. He really knows how to pull you in and I like to believe I have good self-control, but Finley is doing a great job testing that.
