Aside from her, the empress’s children had also brought trouble of a certain nature to the court. In fact, her prime minister, Lord Landau, and her son, Prince Trevor, had but recently returned from a diplomatic mission to Futaria. Centuries ago, the futanari had established their own kingdom under their own king. Ironically, Futaria was the only new male ruled nation that wouldn’t struggle to be accepted by the women. Why would it?
Anyway, Beral’s granddaughter, Princess Talia, had become pregnant by the crown prince of that land. Prince Trevor, Beral’s son and the girl’s father, had once had a bad experience (sort of) of an intimate nature with the present king there many years ago when they were both young princelings. He was vehemently opposed to a formal marriage between the two young people, even though the crown prince was not of an androgynous nature himself.
You see, it was common knowledge that King Regeus, who (like most futa males) looked like a very attractive and well-formed woman in almost every way, was VERY fond of Trevor, and he and his queen (a female futa) had been trying to get together with the prince for some time. The trouble was that when Prince Trevor had visited Futaria some years back, he had drunk too much wine one night and hadn’t known Regeus was a “Prince” not a “Princess”. When the usual Bellasarian courtesies were offered he happily accepted. The next morning revealed the truth much to his horror, but much too late to undo the damage. Regeus, who had the best sex of her…er…his life, never forgot! Not even after he became king and had taken a wife, a female futa. Prince Trevor, of course, didn’t want to renew that experience, much less add to it with the King’s queen. Like all female futa, the woman was lacking stones, but she still had a working yard that would emerge on demand to go along with her female parts. Something like that could end up in a way Trevor found totally unacceptable. Still, the empress finally had to take action; it could have turned into an ugly political situation if the matter wasn’t settled with their children and a grandchild now added to the mix.
Fortunately, all had turned out well. The marriage between the two young people would go forward and the date was set. With no small amount of humor, the prime minister informed the empress that King Regeus and Queen Ai had finally sealed the deal and got what they wanted in the bargain thanks to Lady Altia, Prince Trevor’s wife. It would seem that Lady Altia (who ironically, Trevor had insisted on going with them) had always been curious about what a tumble with a futa man and woman would be like and…well…with great difficulty she had finally persuaded the prince to consent one time and one time ONLY to a little group love-play with the king and queen. Well…that was the initial agreement. As of the visit, a wing of King Regeus’s palace has been specifically set aside for the king and queen’s best friend and his wife and vice-versa.
Despite more than a few raised eyebrows and the initial surprise, Empress Beral III was most pleased and relieved by the successful conclusion of that diplomatic endeavor and hoped that hers would go equally well with two particular warring parties of her realm…and the humans.

CHAPTER ONE
ALIENS AND AKKADIANS
President Beverly W. Chambers and the First Man, Barry P. Chambers, had studied the documents on Bellasarian and Bainian culture thoroughly before their trip to Bellasaria. The royal ambassador, former High Lord Shaba, had spoken little of his people other than to say that the ruling empress wished to renew contact with her long estranged kin on Earth. The reason why the president and certain high officials were now personally on Bellasaria was because of the personal request of Beral III and the hinted at possibility of shared technology should all go well with the talks…and if the people on Earth had grown up. This last condition had given many cause to doubt that they would receive anything of importance, certainly nothing of a military nature. After all, although two thousand years had passed on Bellasaria, only fifteen had passed on Earth, and sadly little had changed of note since the last American President came to Bellasaria, except for her. Beverly Chambers was the first woman ever to sit in the oval office as President of The United States of America and that might just make all the difference this time…at least that’s what she hoped. In any case, she was not prepared for what she found once she and the others arrived on Bellasaria via dimensional portal.
The first shock for the president was that immediately upon exiting the portal into the Bellasaria realm she and the others felt a bit heavier. The previous visitors to this world had mentioned the fact that the gravity on Bellasaria was heavier than on Earth in their writings and commentaries very little, usually in footnotes or passing statements. Obviously this was easily overshadowed and forgotten with all the other things to marvel at and comment about. This explained one of the reasons, besides their genetic breeding, why mutants on this world were often stronger than mutants on Earth. Even the humans who came to fight in the last conflict between Bellasaria and an Earth nation were much quicker and stronger than their kin on the homeworld. A Bellasarian human was more than a match for an equally trained human soldier born on Earth. However, the difference in the gravity of the two realms was not very great. In a day or two without even realizing it, Beverly and the others would have become accustomed to the gravity and quickly forget about it. Ironically, this would answer the president’s own query about why her predecessors overlooked or didn’t focus on this issue too much.
The second shock for the president was that a human was Prime Minister of the Illyrian Empire. Prime Minister Landau had greeted the Earth leaders when they arrived and they had spent their first day on Bellasaria as his guest. The third shock was that it wasn’t even the “Illyrian Empire” anymore, but was now the “Bellasarian Empire” and that Ramia was no longer the capital, Illia was, and the city of Illia was breathtaking. The prime minister explained that the empress was busy making preparations at the great palace. Many rulers from the empire and beyond would be coming and that they would see her there in the next day or two at a great feast of honor. They would be the prime ministers honored guest in the meanwhile and enjoy a smaller welcoming dinner until then. At the mention of a welcoming feast, the newcomers were prepared for the worst, from what they remembered or read about in the past, everything from heavy petting to full blown orgies occurred at such diplomatic dinners.
The natives believed (and admittedly this was often true) that this was a very good, not to mention enjoyable, way to break the ice with neighboring tribes and nations. Booze flowed freely and people danced, traded stories and even mates for a bit. But that didn’t happen this time…at least not the sex part. There was indeed plenty of food and drink, but that’s all. The next day the Earth people would see new changes among the people as well. The prime minister was summoned to the imperial palace early, but his aide would take care of the Earth dignitaries in his stead and bring them to the palace the next day. That’s when the aliens would see the present Bellasarian culture up close. The Earthlings, some eagerly (Bellasarian women were renowned for their beauty and outrageously portioned figures) had expected to see thousands of naked natives running around, but instead saw very little of that.
Occasionally, although there were plenty of shirtless males to be seen, a topless girl would go by, and to be sure, this was a sight truly worth seeing for most of the male visitors and even some of the females. However, they were relatively few in number compared to what those who had encountered these mutants and been to their cities had documented in the past. The human guide noticed early the puzzled looks from the visitors. Remembering what she had read of the prudishness of Earth people, she quickly explained that such females were probably people from the rural areas visiting kin or shopping. Most she said with a smile were here today to see Earthlings for the first time.
All in all though, although there weren’t many folks going nude (partial or complete) there was still a lot of skin, muscles and curves to be seen among the natives, both human and mutant. Then the newcomers caught a curious sight. A
group of people were watching them that were strange indeed. The women were very conservatively dressed, even by Earth standards. Dresses that covered their knees and some even to their ankles, loose tops that covered their torsos and upper arms and some even wore head scarfs. The aide chuckled and said, “Muslims.” But it wasn’t the women that surprised the visitors the most…it was the men. They were covered almost from head to toe in robes similar to what many Muslim women wore on Earth. They were even veiled! The aide chuckled again as she noted the objects of the newcomers attention.
“Their women are jealous and aren’t taking any chances,” she said.
“On Earth, it’s the Muslim women who wear concealing robes and veils,” chuckled a woman of the president’s party.
“Bellasarian women are very aggressive,” said the aide, “so many Christians, Muslims and even Jews who live or have business in the empire go to this length to warn other females off. Unmarried Muslim males generally do not wear such concealing robes, but neither do they go shirtless or wear garments that expose their knees.” One of the dignitaries nodded approvingly. He was a man from one of the Islamic nations who was most struck by these people. “Curiously,” continued the aide, “many women of the royal families have adopted this practice themselves, requiring their mates and male offspring to wear veils and concealing clothing in the presence of outside females. You will see this for yourselves soon.”
Well, the next day President Chambers and the others did see for themselves as Empress Beral III entered the audience chamber with her consort, Lord Talos and court councilors. Chambers couldn’t help but to smile when saw the empress. She had spoken to former First Lady Torres about her impending trip to Bellasaria and the meeting with the current empress. Mrs. Torres had warned her to prepare for certain feelings of self-consciousness upon meeting a Bellasarian queen. They were all beautiful, curvaceous and vain. They were proud and not shy about showing their bodies, but never to be underestimated in the brains department.
This empress didn’t fit that description by half. Her layered and heavy robes literally covered everything, including her feet. The president could guess why. Beral III was most certainly a pretty, even beautiful girl (face-wise) but she seemed to be a bit chubby as well and about 6ft in height. This seemed normal for a Bellasarian noblewoman, especially of her bloodline, but somehow it didn’t fit her body shape. She was nothing like the sleek goddesses that the president’s predecessors had met. By the empresses side was a much more impressive, even imposing, sight. A black giant, seven feet tall at least with a veil covering his face from the nose down. The man was huge, his arms were large and his muscular form could be ascertained even beneath his robes. One of Chambers’s aides, a young black woman, couldn’t take her eyes off of the giant, nor was she alone. The man moved with a smooth grace that belied his size, but then again…so did the fat girl.
Chambers was no fool; this woman wasn’t empress for nothing unless something else had changed over the two thousand years. Her body may be out of shape and proportion, but her mind was almost certainly as sharp as a razor. Beral III took her seat and her consort took his place beside her. Several other women and men soon followed and these were explained to be minor queens and their consorts…there was even a king or two much to Chamber’s surprise.
Most of these lesser queens and kings wore various robes of state, but one of the vassal queens and her retinue perked the president’s interest. These people’s clothes were of leather and (for some) there was little of that. It was true that they covered what was important, but compared to the others they looked like complete savages. However, the other leaders showed them great difference and respect and even the empress smiled and nodded to the tall olive complexioned woman and her consort.
“That’s, Queen Tana of The Great Forest Kingdom,” explained the aide, “she’s the first woman to rule that region since it was founded by High Lord Cato’s son, Harold the Great, over two thousand years ago. She is also Empress Beral III’s fifth cousin.” As the forest queen greeted Beral III, Chambers noticed a young curvy girl dressed in animal skins looking curiously at a large youth among the empresses court wearing a veil very similar to the empresses consort. He was dark skinned like the giant, but had wavy black hair and his eyes above the veil were green and feline. Even through his robes, it was clear the youth was of a most impressive build. The aide chuckled again, “That’s the empresses’ youngest son,” she said. “Prince Tabba, ‘The Cat Lord’.”
The president and several of the others were surprised by the fact that he was the empresses youngest son…meaning that there were others older than him.
“But the empress only looks to be about twenty herself,” blurted the president in a perplexed whisper.
The aide smiled and said, “The empress is eighty seven years old.” The others were speechless. “Her husband is only about fifty five though.” The others made no comment. The giant looked little more than a youth as well, despite the veil. The president looked at the young girl again. Unlike the boy, there was no need for close examination to discern her impressive form. The brief attire she wore left nothing to the imagination.
“Who’s the girl in the animal skins,” asked the president.
“That’s, Princess Abe,” replied the aide, “Queen Tana’s daughter.”
“It doesn’t bother her parents that her ass is all but exposed and her tits are practically popping out of that little thing she calls a top?” said Chambers. “That fur top and loincloth barely covers anything!”
“Be thankful, President Chambers,” said the aide. “Mutants of the forest kingdom, especially ferals like them, don’t normally wear cloths at all back home. And Abe is a very difficult and wild girl I hear. That she would come here and wear anything at all is saying something for the respect she has for the empress and this meeting.” The president and her husband looked on curiously as the prince now noticed the girl staring at him and nodded a greeting at her and then, having acknowledged her, looked straight ahead again. The young girl made a face of annoyance and glared even harder at the youth, who now let out a low involuntary growl of annoyance of his own at this close scrutiny. The young girl was startled by this at first and then made an expression that was difficult for the president to read. President Chambers had assumed that the girl’s vanity was bruised by the young prince’s indifference. There was no denying that she was a little beauty. A noblewoman who had noticed the president’s interest in those two eased over and confirmed this.
“The Princess Abe is not used to being ignored, Lady President,” chuckled the woman. “But then a prince who is forced to hide his face from outsiders probably-” The woman stopped herself at that, and the president could tell that she may have said, or was about to say, more than was prudent at this time.
“Is he that ugly?” asked one of the Earth V.I.Ps.
The Bellasarian woman looked at the man in amusement and replied, “Something like that,” then she gave the president a wink. “Excuse me, I am being rude. My name is Lady Hatia of the Landau Clan. I believe you’ve already met my husband and co-wife, yes?”
The president was shocked. She had assumed that this was no longer done on Bellasaria, at least not within the empire, since so much else had changed. “How…How many co-wives does the empress has?” asked Chambers.
The woman grinned and said, “None. Although the High Lord is mighty indeed, even he would not be able to handle even one extra female along with the empress. My lady, Beral III, is no ordinary woman if you know what I mean. She is too much for even most Bellasarian men to cope with.” As the president tried to process what she had been told (that statement could be taken in many ways, and knowing these people’s reputation, all of them accurate), yet another delegation of natives caught her attention. These people were much more similar to herself in dress and manner than any of the other Bellasarians she’d seen so far. The mutant noblewoman made a face
and said, “Akkadians”. The president made a curious expression and the woman chuckled. “Akkadians are descended from those Earth mutants who defected from the humans…er…the renegade American general’s invasion forces and started their own nation on Bellasaria…with Queen Bellasaris’s permission of course. Hmmm, you should get along well with these people. You seem almost akin to one another in dress, manner and mind.”
This was proving to be true as the president heard the Akkadian President address the Bellasarian Empress in almost perfect American English with only a hint of the Bellasarian accent. In fact, Beverly Chambers noted, that when conversing among themselves, she could barely understand any of these people, only a few words here or there. She would later learn that what she and the other American and United Kingdom officials was speaking was called ‘Old Americ English’ on Bellasaria and was a language spoken today by a majority of the population only in the country of Akkadia. Evidently, this language was still part of an elite nobleman’s/noblewoman’s education, like Latin once was on Earth. This was why the various kings and queens could communicate passably to fluently with the Americans and others of the diplomats, but for the common folk it was much like a modern American trying to understand someone still speaking English from the early 16th Century. The language spoken widely by everyone almost everywhere was called ‘Americ’. Its root was American English, but it had many other elements in it as well and even the English words had evolved almost unrecognizably to the English speaking Earthlings. If it were not for the Akkadians, English (American or otherwise) would probably have become a dead language by now. However, even the Akkadian’s English had a slight accent of its own and every now and then a phrase or word was used that the Americans and other English speaking leaders were entirely unfamiliar with.
