“Since you’re at the sink, wash these off while you’re at it,” He passes me the packet of meat for the chops.
“Looks like I’m doing all the dirty work here while you stir up spices playing nice and pretty with your semi Easy bake oven over there.” I turn on the water and wash the meat off. “Grab me that strainer under the cabinet. I see I need to keep you entertained while playing.”
“Always, I’m like a two-year old in the kitchen, it’s my favorite room in a house, well wait, I take that back. I love every room in your place.”
“Do you now?” I smirk a flirty little grin to him and place my hand on my hip.
“Yeah, I do.” He chuckles. And mocks my move. “Well damn.”
Griff takes some of the batter and sprinkles it the pan, when it boils up, he knows the grease is ready. He takes the meat and dips it in the milk and eggs, then flour and repeats for a double coating which bubbles to the top of the pan when he puts it in. He turns the temp down to medium. “Damn what?”
“Just had reality sweep in on me, with you it feels like a dream. Griff, I’ll be moving.” I brush my hands through my hair.
“Where to?” He puts his hand in his pocket on the apron. It looks so girlie, but cute.
“Not a clue yet. I want something on water, but Galveston is too far from my job so was looking maybe at going to Lake Conroe. What do you think?”
“Well I live in Conroe, not on the lake but close, they have beautiful lots there right on the lake, with boat ramps, fishing spots, etc. I could go check out some if you like. You need to take a few days off just to sleep and relax.”
“Well, as you know we’re off, paid for two weeks. Would you mind, I have three weeks to be out, because I refuse another lease here. The price jacks, the lack of maintenance is just too much here and it’s time to find something permanent for once in my life. I’ll have to hire in movers and know the expenses will kill me financially, but I need a place to call home and put my roots down finally. It’s time.” I take a deep breath and feel somewhat relieved that he is willing to do this for me.
He dices the potatoes I washed and puts them in the boiling water and removes the pan of chicken fried steaks to the back burner. Next, he pulls out my small cast iron skillet and pours in a little grease. Once hot, he pours in a little grease just covering the bottom and brings it to hot, then adds three tablespoons of flour making a rue, scraping it across the pan from side to side. He pours the milk. As the gravy thickens he stirs until boiling and removes it from the heat right away. He opens two cans of ranch style beans and micros them. Dinner is served.
“Come fix you a plate.” He orders. I love it when he’s bossy.
“Yes dear.” I give him a naval salute.
“So, tell me what you are looking for, so I know how to check out some places for you.”
“I don’t even know, something perfect with no work to come with it. I want it move-in ready. At least two bedrooms, I want to set up an office in one room, something with more space than here, and on the lake. I want to go fishing, but mainly just be able to sit out at any time of the day without neighbors all around and relax, enjoying the waves rippling. I’ve been a loner for so long now and treasure that often. Never had anyone to share my time with me, so I grew to adapt to it. I really miss the water though. To see the sunrise over it and the moon shine on it, ya know? That is my peace zone and I need that before and after works hours, to just relax and feel safe. To get in my comfort zone.” I try to explain to him and not sound like a total wussy as I can, so he knows.
“I get it and will do my best, what price range are you looking at?” He takes the plates down.
“Whatever it takes to get me a place like that. Once I buy, I won’t buy anything else. I just want freedom, and this is my shot at it. I just need to keep peace and calamity in my life. Griff, I’ve spent my whole life afraid of life, and expecting the worst. You are the most stability I’ve had, no pressure.” I pick up the plate then set it back down.
“I have, tell me how.” He pulls a steak and loads his plate with the sides.
“You managed to make me make a promise to myself, that I would be honest, one hundred percent, and give it a fair shot, and when you didn’t leave the first night, I haven’t been able to get you out of my head. You make me feel good and have some confidence in myself again, I haven’t had that since I was a little boy.”
“What about your parents? Did they not give you that?” he asks.
“No, we were never close. My dad was cool, but mom, I fell off her pedestal when I was born. I don’t know why I could never be enough for her. I tried but it just didn’t happen. My dad, he loved me whole heartedly, but mom, no. He totally got me, just didn’t totally get me either and I felt alone so much of my life. I wasn’t going to let anyone in close to hurt me. My dad taught me everything I know about business, but he was missing a lot of the time, out running around on mom, so I get her side too. I just felt alone and built up brick walls in every form or fashion to keep people out. It worked… until you. You were like a bulldozer with those walls and did it in one night. I promised to give you a try and am grateful for that, it’s been how long now, two months, and you’re still here. I haven’t train wrecked us yet. I do that you know.” I gasp wondering why I just spewed this to him.
I probably just pushed this beyond repair now, I shouldn’t have busted a gut and spewed all of this on him like that. God what did I do? I know, fucked it up like I always do. It’s what I do best. I’m a pro at it!
“You are the most honest guy I know and you know your shit. Business wise. I’m sorry you went through that with your mom though. My parents weren’t like that.” He walks to the table.
“Mine aren’t now either, but they were growing up. I guess they were young and did the best they could, it just mentally mind fucked me is all.”
“Did they know you’re gay?”
“Yeah, they do, but we don’t talk about it, they just said as long as I’m happy then they are to.” I cough. “I never put them in my business and keep to myself, a phone call a week and shit. Me and dad meet up on Christmas but basically, I stay solo for fear out of being told I’m messing up something.”
“That’s sad.” I feel horrible for him.
“That’s life, do your parents know about you?” I ask.
“Nope, they’d freak out.”
“Seriously, I though yall were tight.” I follow behind him and sit at the table.
“We are, so why mess it up with a comment like that. To tell them, they’d flip as they have no clue I’m gay. Bi they might could cope with, but gay will send them in heart attack mode.”
“Anyways, back to the property and your new home. I’ll head out in the morning and see what I can find for you.”
“Thank you for that, I appreciate you so much for that.”
“Then prove that.” I toss my plate in the sink, not even bothering to wash it off,
Chapter 12
“Let me clean up the kitchen, I’m a messy cooker.” Griff tells me
“Ha, I thought you said a messy hooker and was gonna go check my wallet for cash.” I start cracking up laughing.
“Not hardly, punk. Do you have foil?”
“Yep, in the pantry, that was delicious by the way, thank you baby.” I give him a kiss on the cheek. I’ve probably put on at least ten pounds going back in for seconds.
After the kitchen is cleaned and the dishes are in the dishwasher and it’s started, we both grab a beer and head out to the patio. I get cold inside the house after being in the heat all day and apparently, he does to. I’m so glad we share the same tastes as we do, even weather related.
Griff takes the sit up chair and I take the lounge, that’s already kicked back only propped at the upper back and neck area. Oh, this feels like nap time. Full belly for the first time in weeks, I’m grateful he’s here.
“I’m so glad you’re here, that was nice.” God, is there anything this man does that
s not enticing.
“Are you full, I see that belly popping out.” He giggles. My belly is not pooching out.
“Stuffed, it was delicious. Who knew you could cook like that?”
Suddenly I’m awakened by Griff kneeling beside me, sucking on my earlobe.
“Mmmm…” I moan.
“I couldn’t resist you anymore.” He bobbles the tip and runs his hand between my legs. Talk about morning wood in the night. I shift to the right and look at my watch, it’s ten thirty pm.
I reach out for him and drag him by one leg over me and straddle me, then take his mouth in mine. Our tongues bathe each other in a swirl of twists and laps. Oh fucking hell, so good. His kisses are amazing, so warm and passion filled.
“Fuck I missed you, you feel so good against me right now.”
He shoves his body against mine and I feel him harden, holy shit. I run my fingers up the inside of his shorts, brushing against the tip of his cock.
“You should let me see it” I beg him practically and lick my lips.
Griff stands up and slide his apron off and down for me then walks to my side. I glide my hand up and down his hard cock, then take it harder and he bounces it across my wet lips. I’ve been missing him so much and want to suck him deep down my throat. I take the tip in my mouth, glossing the head. Tasting his pre-come, I yank him by the neck to me and make him lick his own juices from my tongue to as we go to tongue war. He likes it, and I love it, then he pushes off of me. I slap his leg and make him stand over me, fucking my mouth, but payback is a bitch. I stop him mid stride and his face crinkles, eyes pop wide open. What a waste. I open wide for him and let him shove his cock to the back of my throat loving it. He pumps hard and juts forward and backward over and over
“What the fuck?”
I wrap my arm at his waist after giving him a sarcastic grin and jerk him down on me, letting him dry hump me. His cock is hard as a rock, but the skin so warm and soft, it amps me up. He wiggles himself against me and I clasp both of us in our hands, I place him around his first then press up against him. I love the way our fingers glide together jacking us off. Oh yeah, feels so good.
“I love feeling you hold us like this. Kiss me.” He whispers.
He lowers to me releasing us for just a moment and digs his tongue into my mouth. We swirl our tongues around each other and he lays across us.
“Give me your mouth again, your kisses are so passionate.”
I yank him down to me again as we hump and grind into each other, cock against cock. The heat radiating off of him is like hot lava and I love it. My heart pumps so hard and sends shivers through my body enough to cause chill bumps. My eyes roll back in my head and my veins feel explosive.
“Holy fuck, do you know what you doing to me. I want to erupt.”
“Then do, for me.”
We stop and go upstairs. I claw my fingers into his back, scratching up and down his shoulders and spine. Then I reach over to the nightstand by the bed and lube myself up for him. He climbs up and sits across me and I slowly push into him. As he lowers himself, little by little, I lay still, as hard as that is, until we pass through the band of rings inside.
“Oh fuck yesss.” He gasps.
“Take your time, do this at your own pace, I can wait.” I stay still and love the way he’s riding me. Making love to me like a hymn.
Music plays out from the radio, so deep and smooth. He begins to move as smooth as the rhythm and nails it. Up and down, he leans forward and kisses me, his warm dick across my belly as he thrusts and just forward but lowers up and down wiggling against me from one side to the other. Geezuz fucking Chryst. He feels so good.
I quiver as electricity jolts through my veins, sucking the everlasting pulse from my body, it’s so hard not to release right now, but I want to wait for him. I lock my hands behind his neck and hold him tight as he thrusts his tongue deeper into my mouth and my eyes roll back in my sockets. I soon open them and watch the expressions on his face, his mouth gapes as he pants out shallow breaths. He arches back running up and down on me sliding in and out of me, and I can only judge by how his dick glides along my stomach. Pre-come dribbles out and onto my stomach. I lap it up with my finger tip, then put it into my mouth and pull him down to me.
“I love the way I taste on your tongue.” He whimpers not wanting to admit it, but I already know he does.
“I love it too, so gooood!”
“I’m going to come. His muscles start to contract, tightening around me and my nuts sink into me ready, so ready to do the same.
Griff’s body shivers and he breaks out in goosebumps all over as he clamps down. I feels like mini lightning bolts are zapping me all over my body and I quake letting the spasms take over my body and thrust up into him.
“God, I’ve fallen for you, so fucking good, ride me baby.”
“Me too, yesss, god… shit, shit, fuck.
His juices cover me up to my neck, I’ve never seen anyone come this hard before, including myself.
Griff collapses down on me and I kiss him on top of his head as he slips down on me. “Let me clean us up.”
“I think this requires a shower.” I sliver against him.
After we get out, we talk for another few minutes and he informs me that tomorrow, while I finish up some much-needed paperwork, he’ll be out checking properties and homes.
“Did you mean it when you said you’ve fallen for me, Calen?” He asks and rubs his hands across my soft, but not shaven whiskers.
“I meant it.” I run my fingers through his long locks, with curls on the end catching a tangle. “Sorry.”
“Good because I feel the same way about you. No need to apologize, I like it when you pull my hair. But you should know that by now.”
“I remember. Let’s get some rest, stay with me tonight, and all our time off work, Griff. I don’t want to let you go.
“Me either, I’ll swing by my place and grab a few changes of clothes. Wanna go out on the lake with me, not tomorrow but maybe the next day? Do a little fishing, rent a boat or whatever?”
“Sounds perfect to me.”
“Then it’s a date for Sunday then?” He laughs, and it’s the most precious expression on his face. His lips peak at the corner of his mouth and a dimple appears, how did I miss that?
“It’s a date.” I give him a sexy grin and just stare at him for a few moments inhaling his essence. He’s so fucking beautiful. “Come here.” I reach out for him pulling him into my chest and intertwine my legs with his then click off the lamp. We both fall asleep wrapped in one another.
Chapter 13
I rub my eyes after staring at numbers all day and glance at the clock, it’s almost six o’clock in the evening. I haven’t heard from Griff all day, but I also didn’t want to bombard him with questions as he’s out doing me a favor by looking at properties. I know he’s coming back because he told me so and tomorrow we’re going fishing. I love having him over like this, just us and carefree, not a care in the world. When I told him I was falling for him, I meant it hardcore. It's been a couple months, that I thought I had lost. He makes me remember feeling good about myself which has been years now. but he brings out my good again which I love. I wasn’t sure I had that left in me, but, apparently I do, or he would have left the first night, right?
I start dinner, just some baked chicken with lemon-pepper seasoning on it and crack open a beer, starting some brown rice when I hear the door open. Griff walks in with a stack of folders in his hand.
“Hey you.” I give him a long kiss. “I missed you. Any luck out there today?” I ask and give him a squeezable hug with a passionate kiss.
“More than you would believe, these are five of the tops in this pile, another three or four after that. I think you’ll be impressed pricewise and some already had inspection reports, everything is in tip top shape. Most are private investors, some personal. They are ready to go, one is even furnished, you could be in by Thanksgiving if you want on most of thes
e. They’re all within your price range and just sitting there. You have cash, so you’re in as soon as the money transfers hands and you dot the lines with your signature. I loved each one in a different way. They are just what you hoped for, waterfront property, under three hundred thousand, one only by a buck…”
“A buck is a buck, right?”
“Yep, helps put on utilities and stuff. Whatcha making, the house smells delicious.” Griff asks and sniffs at the air with his head tilted up.
“Just a little lemon and herb chicken and rice, asparagus and corn. Do you want rolls?”
“I want you.” Griff yanks me in tighter hugging me.
I’m infatuated with the way he makes me feel. He’s so loveable the way he is. Bigger than me but he lets me be in control over most things.
“I’m sorry Sir, the kitchen isn’t taking on any catering jobs tonight, the best I have is some whip cream and strawberries. Oh, and beer, want one?” I laugh at him while I dodge his hand trying to smack my ass. “Missed me, missed me, now you gotta kiss me!” I bust out laughing, stick out my tongue, and we play ring around the rosies around the kitchen table, good thing it’s round because he comes close to it when chasing me around it.
“Damn, you got me out of breath.” He raises his hands to the air, “I give, I give, you win,” He pulls me in close again and I love him.
“Want to go look at the properties tomorrow? I personally think you need to look at boats since all of them have a landing, plus it sounds so much more fun. Were you going to even buy one or not, they all have slips as well if you don’t want your own, just figured why have one without a boat, but they all come with them. You can rent one for the day at any of the docks.” He asks.
“I don’t know, buying one doesn’t sound like a bad idea, we could go look and if I do, I do, if I don’t, I don’t. We could rent one for the day and get in a little water sports activities. Never done it on a boat, not sure if I even remember how to drive one around.” I sigh.
