“You would have liked that, however, the gods have more powers than you do, witch. I’m here now, and I am your worst nightmare,” Alusia said, and Delia roared and raised her hands to throw magic at Alusia. She countered the magic with some of her own, but wasn’t completely focusing as she watched Roovio step away from his desk. Soldiers entered the room.

“We are being attacked. It’s Alphas from Keuric pack and Saint pack as well as vampires from the Vignola!”

“What? How? I told Vlad what she had done. About the plan to annihilate the Vignola, about the Saint and Keuric packs. It’s what he said to do in order to secure the cause.” He rambled on and Alusia assumed the cause, and reference to him was to the master.

“Who is he? Who is the one who set you up to take this fall?” she screamed at Roovio.

“No one set me up. I’m am not taking the fall for anyone or anything. This is my power. MY future as king of all packs across the world!” he screamed.

“Die!” Delia yelled and threw some more magic toward Alusia, and she countered it and returned fire with her own, with more enthusiasm and strength than before and hit Delia head on. The witch exploded before her, as black dust scattered everywhere.

“No!” Roovio roared and as he shifted, so did Gazelle, his mate.

Before he even reached Delia, Gazelle tore out his throat and roared at the top of her lungs. “Die, Roovio. Die for killing my mate and forcing me to be mated to you. For all the lies and the evil things you have done. Die,” she said.

Alusia was shocked. So were Claspen and Vibes as well as guards to the circle as they witnessed the actions of Gazelle. Alusia went to her as she shifted to human form and cried. She held her tight. “It’s over, Gazelle. You ended it all forever.”

“What is happening? What spell have you put on all these wolves, witch?” Claspen asked, accusing her of being responsible for this.

“It was not her. She saved us all. Roovio has been planning a takeover for years. He killed my mate, Vocarious. He has been the one killing off packs, destroying them from within, and forcing the matings. He has armies upon armies of rogue wolves just waiting to be called into action. He had help, too,” Gazelle told them.

“Help from who?” Vibes asked, and stepped closer then knelt down and held her gaze with compassion.

“Members of the Circle. Perhaps even you, as well,” she said.

“No. Never. We have not been part of anything. We were investigating what was exposed to us,” Claspen said to them.

“Lies, Claspen. All lies,” Alusia whispered.

“Vipis was working with Libertin, Cuppa, and Solero along with Roovio Gaines. Gaines has been the one who initiated all those other Alphas like Trolytes, Troy Polta, Trolytes, Voltek, and Berlise. Even Shay pack Alphas’ Case, Gate, Collink, and Mosek. They are all part of this idea of there being one king, and Roovio promised them power underneath him. Power over Keuric pack, Saint pack, as well as destruction of the Circle entirely,” Gazelle explained.

“Call off the guards and all the soldiers. Inform the Saint and Keuric pack of the information. We have a lot to sift through and investigate,” Claspen said to them.

“With all of us by your side, Claspen. The Circle must be re-evaluated and all traitors exposed and removed,” Alusia said to him.

“We will rebuild. Get to the bottom of all of this so it never happens again,” Vibes said.

“I’m afraid this isn’t over. There was someone they referred to as the master. I believe he’s the one who orchestrated this entire thing to have Roovio either succeed so he could take over, or have Roovio take the fall and make you all believe that you won when really there’s more to come,” Alusia said to them.

“What makes you say that?” Vibes asked. “You have proof of this master, or could it be a means of hearsay, a reference to a title Roovio wanted to gain by the takeover?” Claspen asked.

“It is true. I only heard Roovio speak to him twice, and no, I don’t know who it is, just that he has powers and is more than just a wolf,” Gazelle said.

“Alusia!” Rule, Temerec, and Law came through the open doorway and she got up and jumped into Rule’s arms. He hugged her tight. “We were so worried. What happened? They said the Circle called off the attacks. They’re already leaving the property on pack land.”

She pulled back and looked at him, then Law and Temerec. “Roovio is dead. Gazelle killed him. She was being held prisoner here and was forced to mate with Roovio to keep the pack united. However, it was Roovio who killed Vocarious, her mate. He had been building the army of rogues, which we need to locate and destroy before they are used against all of us. Oh, and the Circle needs to be investigated. There could be more traitors amongst them. Delia is dead, once and for all, and we have a lot of work to do to figure out who the heck this master is and where he is hiding. I need to find Vipis and kill that sorcerer, then—"

Rule covered her mouth and kissed her, stopping her from rambling on. She got lost in that kiss and it did what he intended it to do. Calm her down, make her take a moment to realize they were still alive, and that there was a greater battle yet to come.

  * * * *

“Roovio is dead. Claspen and Vibes, plus the others in the Circle know that more is going on here. I’m afraid that your plan of letting Roovio take the fall has failed,” Vipis said to Volkan.

“It has not failed. I have not failed at all, Vipis. Our army is more powerful than theirs. They are wolves, some vampires, and a few fae powers can’t help them against what I have. Rogues in the thousands upon thousands. Stupid, ravenous killers who live to taste the blood of their enemies. The plan is to make them believe that something evil can strike at any moment, but yet they won’t know where it is coming from. This is years in the making. Deaths to their families, to their loved ones, breaking down the bond of their ancestry and ultimately destroying their resolve. They can gather all the forces they want from other packs, but those forces won’t fight like our rogues will. Like the evildoers who want what I want, will fight them all. My plan is working. Now do as I said.”

“Now, when the security is so high?” Vipis asked.

“Send in Ferdol. Have him take out their highest fighters of authority. Kill the were who infiltrated Roovio’s pack and gave the information. Torture them and then drop their bodies where all can see. That will send a message that this isn’t over, but that it has just begun.”

Vipis bowed his head and exited the room. Volkan looked at himself in the mirror. The red face, the black eyes, the horns on his head. A demon above all demons, a powerful force sent from another realm. He had a choice of where to go, but his hunting always seemed to lead him back here. So many years had passed and never once did he think that the mates he killed would forever haunt his life, but they did. The power was strong, and before they got stronger he would need to make his move. Killing Margarete would send the ball in motion to their total destruction.

  Epilogue

“In the days to follow, more wolves and mystical creatures began to gather outside of Keuric and Saint pack territory, offering to be soldiers under their command. Word spread quickly of the evil cloud that grew slowly above them all. It was eerie, and no powers from Alexandra, Alyssa, Avi, and Alusia combined could figure out a way to remove it, or sensed a foretelling of what was to come. They all received messages from the gods of their roles and their power and how they needed to work together.

“So why didn’t you tell me about the whole vampire thing?” Alexandra asked Alusia.

“Well, for one, you would want to know how I found out I had vampire blood in me.”

“Ohh, sounds like a good story. Do tell.”

“Well, I guess without dragging things out, I felt…compelled to bite my mates, not as a wolf does and mark them, but as a vampire, and in the middle of making love.”

Alexandra’s eyes widened and she smiled. “You tasted their blood?”

  “Oh yeah.”

  “And?”
r />   Alusia looked around them to be sure no one could hear. “And I believe by doing so, I instilled powers of my own into them.”

“Amazing,” Alexandra said and then Alusia laughed. “They are taking it well though. Don’t seem to be complaining.”

“Why would they when they claim it feels incredible as they come inside of me.”

“Oh, totally giving a new definition to the term orgasmic,” Alexandra said and Alusia giggled. She then got kind of serious.

“I just wish I understood how I got the vampire blood in me if Buschool hadn’t been the one to save me years ago as a teen when Delia attacked.”

“I believe Buschool could help you with that,” Alexandra said, and as she turned around and Alex stepped back, there stood Buschool in the doorway along with her men, Rule, Temerec, and Law. She smiled and Law came right to her and pulled her into his arms.

“I know there is much happening. That we are all under a lot of pressure to find out who this master is. We can use all the help we can get, and help is pouring in,” Law told her.

“I know. It is amazing and proves that there is more good than bad. That the people, the mystical creatures, as well, want the Circle to continue, and then were laws and regulations to be enforced.”

“The power of the Vignola, as well, Alusia,” Buschool said to her and she was surprised that he brought this up to her.

“Is there something I need to know, because of the vampire blood running through my veins?” she asked him.

“It is important as we move on to strategic plan our defenses, that we know where loyalties lie, and where allies are,” he said to her.

  “Of course, Buschool.”

Rule and Temerec looked serious and then Law made a motion with his hand toward Preston who was by the doorway. She was completely shocked when Vlad Portin appeared. She stepped closer to her men. “Easy, mate, we would never allow him this close to you again unless we felt it was necessary,” Rule said to her.

“Alusia.” Vlad said her name and was before her in no time at all. The man sure did know how to glide across rooms. He was very attractive, as well. She looked at Buschool.

“When Delia took you to Roovio’s we got to the bottom of how she planned that attack and what had gone down. It was explained to Vlad that the Vignola would be taken over by us, and that we were all part of the plan to rule the world even though it was Roovio,” Buschool said to her.

“Yes, I know all of that. He was tricked, probably with Delia’s magic,” she said, and looked at Vlad who stared at her differently.

“Yes, but Vlad sensed something about you. Despite his confusion, and well we came to realize that the two of you have a special bond,” Buschool said.

“Him and I?” she asked and looked him over.

  Vlad chuckled.

“It appears that years ago when Buschool found you, rescued you and brought you to safety, that you were saved by a vampire,” Rule told her.

She looked at him and processed his words, then at Buschool, knowing that he hadn’t bitten her.

“Oh boy,” she said and looked him over.

“It wasn’t me who bit you either,” Vlad said to her.

Tears filled her eyes. “I don’t understand.” She felt confused.

Vlad took her hand. “It was my brother, Serpia. He was mate to your mother, along with your fathers. Due to the strict laws of the Vignola and to the jobs your family was responsible for, he stayed away, and in doing so wasn’t there when the attack took place. However, Buschool sensed the bite to your neck, the hint of the smell of vampire, but he couldn’t decipher from who.”

  “Why not?” she asked.

“I believe it has to do with the magic you have. That the gods helped to cover the scent so no one would know,” Buschool stated.

“What happened to Serpia, my father?”

“We thought he ended his own life, but it seems that he went after Delia, as well, and with help from another powerful being, they killed him,” Buschool said.

She looked at Vlad. “So, this is kind of bad for you as a leader of Vignola, having had a brother who mated with wolves and a witch, produced me, and I was seen as a threat to vampires. Or, we tell no one anything. We keep this bond a secret, and I don’t dare call you uncle in public.”

Buschool chuckled, but Vlad was truly uneasy.

“Listen, it’s okay. It must be in the plan for what is to come. That you are an ally, as other vampires must be, as well, because this evil spreading over us, threatening to attack at any moment, is not just our battle, but all of ours. It’s a battle over good versus evil, not wolves versus a deranged wolf out to rule the world. His powers are strong, I can feel it, but we, together, as a team, as a family, are stronger. So are you part of us, of me, or are you going to step aside and remain neutral because of old laws, and historic customs?” she asked.

“I cannot make a decision based solely on the blood we share. I have a responsibility to all vampires across the world.”

She let go of his hand and stepped back. “I see.”

“I am not saying that I will not be available to assist. I think it is important strategically to keep my distance and to be ready if needed.”

“Oh, you will be needed, Vlad, and many others will, as well, if this master is as powerful and manipulative as he seems.”

  * * * *

Temerec pulled Alusia into his arms as they lay in bed. “I know it was a tough day for you.”

“Not as tough as others who have lost loved ones, and some unnecessarily because of the accusations before the truth was revealed,” she replied.

“That is not your concern. There are always casualties to war, to defending what one thinks is right and just. We need to all start working on plans of counterattacks,” Temerec said to her.

“It will be hard not knowing what will be coming at us.”

“Just imagine the worst possible thing, and be ready for that,” Law said.

She chuckled. “Is that what got you through your battles in the past, Law?”

He leaned closer and kissed her inner thigh. This time, Rule slid up against her back and cupped her breast.

“There are many things, strategic moves we can teach you to help you survive,” he said, and then slid his palms up her thighs, spreading her once again.

“Oh really? Like what?” she asked, panting the moment his tongue latched onto her cunt.

“Like how to submit to your mates, so you can get the best orgasm possible,” Rule said.

Law lifted up, aligned his cock with her pussy and slid right into her. She gasped and held his gaze as his brothers pressed her arms back against the bed.

“Maybe, after we all burry our cocks deep in each hole, you can bite us like you did the other night,” Law said and she smiled.

“Oh, so you like when I go all vampire on you, huh?” she asked.

  “Oh yeah,” Temerec said.

  “Well then. Why wait?”

She shifted so fast and with such power she shocked her men. She had Law pressed to the bed, his legs over the edge as she rode him and gave out orders.

“Fill me up. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into you,” she said, and licked her lips.

“I get her ass, she’s too riled up and I don’t want her to accidentally bite,” Rule said, and he was behind her quickly, aligning his cock with her pussy and pushing right into her asshole.

“Oh yes, yes please. Please.” She begged. Temerec cupped her cheeks and she held his gaze as his brothers pumped into her body.

“You be easy, baby. And remember, when I come I want to be underneath you so I can mark you my mate while you mark me yours.”

“I need you,” she said to him, and then opened her mouth and accepted his cock.

Temerec closed his eyes and moaned and the three of them made love until they could no longer hold off. Law came first, and she bit into his neck as he bit into her shoulder. He moaned so loudly and she felt his blood run down her thro
at before she pulled back to lick him clean. Rule lifted her up from around her waist and thrust into her from behind after Law got out of the way. He came next, bit into her shoulder, but then pulled out and she turned him onto his back and then bit him next.

“Hot damn, I can’t wait,” Temerec said, and then he laid on the bed with open arms and she went right to him, lowered down over his cock and they both moaned. “Ride me, baby. Take from me whatever you want. I am yours.”

She gripped his shoulders and thrust up and down as his brothers lay there watching, looking content and exhausted. She felt her own orgasm building and building and right before she came, she lowered down and he gripped her hips tight as they came together. Temerec bit into her shoulder as he moaned and she bit into his neck, fed from his blood, then licked him clean and sealed the wound. Looking at him he appeared relaxed, content, and his moans indicated that he felt nothing but pleasure. She sure did have some special abilities. And as she lay there in his arms with her men surrounding her, she thought of the evil slowly beginning to encase the land. Though it was invisible to the human eyes, she could see it, just as Avi, Alyssa, Alexandra, and Loki could.

As she drifted off into sleep, she thought about her parents, about the fight, about Delia, and then she thought of Loki and her family. She had both Shay and Merker blood in her. Had chosen a path in fighting for the weak. She was a symbol of loyalty, and she sacrificed a life with her own mates, in order to be a guard to Alexandra and even to Alusia. They would need to call a meeting of all the female warriors and mates. They had to formulate a plan of action, and together they would destroy the master once and for all.
