In 2008, with Richard Keegan’s encouragement and guidance, Brian O’Kane rode Route 66 – 2,448 miles from Chicago, to Santa Monica, California – on a Harley-Davidson Road Glide, as one of 100+ bikers who took part in the Temple Street Children’s University Hospital, Dublin, bi-annual fundraising.
