Teasing Lexi (Letting Go Series) Page 2

“Lex, let me ask you something.” Lacey looked apprehensive. “Why do you sleep with so many guys? Like, shit, that sounded harsh. I mean, what do you get out of it?”

Lexi took a huge bite out of her cheeseburger and made her friend wait for the answer.

“I like the way they make me feel. I just don’t want to get close to anyone.”

“You’re close to me,” Lacey watched her face carefully.

“Yeah, but guys, Lace? They just want to get off and not get emotionally involved. That worked for me.” Lexi shifted when she realized what she had said.

  “Worked?” Damn she caught that.

“Dammit, Lacey, you know I hate talking about shit like this.” Lexi squirmed. Talking about her feelings only made her mad. “Let’s just say, Dante gave me a taste of my own medicine and I hate him for it.”

Lacey nodded, but continued to eat her burger in silence. She knew not to provoke Lexi in this area.

“Anyway, I felt cheap and used. I’ve never felt like that before. I mean, I’ve just never been that cold towards guys. Even if it was in the bathroom stall at LaSalle’s, there was still some small talk, compliments, shit like that, afterwards.”

“But, he just walked away?” Lacey knew she had said this already.

“Well, he gave me a kiss on the forehead and then walked away. He didn’t look back. He didn’t say, ‘that was fun’. Nothing.” Lexi felt the burn behind her eyes but shook it off.

“Do you want me to find out what his deal is?” Lacey offered.

“Nah. Why bother. If he’d wanted more, he’d have said so.”

Lacey simply nodded. Deciding it was enough, she jumped up and started talking about a new job she was contracted for, hoping that the change in subject would ease things. Lexi took the cue and felt her body relax at the gesture.

Lexi sat at her desk pounding away at the keys on her laptop. She had to finish the article before five pm. Glancing up at the clock, she noticed she had barely a half hour before her boss would coming to her office to check that she had submitted the latest article for Her Thoughts Lexi’s column on the up and coming A Single Woman’s Life website.

This week’s article was about the solitude of living the single life. Lexi had been doing a monthly piece about the night life of a single woman. The other three week’s of each month, she posted about hair care, make up and other basic tips for single women. For some reason, her monthly piece on dating was getting harder and harder to write.

“Online dating websites are a valuable resource for singles. Of course, the cautions are always in place. A single woman can show her true self while maintaining a sense of anonymity, but at the same time, there are those who will use that to their advantage. Be careful out there, ladies. Be yourself, be true to your self and be sure that you read our article “Safe Tips For Internet Dating” before venturing out to that face-to-face meeting.”

Lexi gave a small smile as she sent the article to her editor’s email. Not her best work, but without having gone on a single date in over 2 months, since her night with Dante, she felt relieved that she provided a useful piece of information for other single women out there.

“Miss Lambert?” Lexi’s boss, Mr. Pearson knocked on her open door. She watched as the overweight man waddled inside. He was a nice guy, but he over indulged in food and with his short frame and balding head, he looked more like a weeble than a man. Lexi giggled inwardly at the thought of him wobbling side to side.

“Hi, Mr. Pearson. Just sent over my article to the editors.” Lexi gave a small smile as she started to shuffle her papers in to piles on her desk, giving the appearance of order to the mayhem that was her working space.

“Very good. Before you leave for the weekend, I was wondering if I could talk to you about something?” Mr. Pearson sat down in the rickety chair aside her desk.

Lexi’s stomach churned as she looked at her boss. He seemed nervous and she began to wonder about the security of her job.

  “Sure, sir.” Lexi’s voice cracked.

“We’d like you to do a special piece. It’s a bit risqué, but we feel it will boost revenue. Since you are single, your perspective is bound to be fresh and insightful.”

“Well, thank you, sir. I’m honored to be considered.” Lexi wiped her sweaty palms on her jeans, tucked under her desk.

Mr. Pearson’s face turned bright red as he took a deep breath. “The place is, well…an erotic couples lounge.”

  Lexi’s mouth dropped open.

  “A…what? What exactly is that?”

Mr. Pearson leaned forward, grabbing a sticky note and pen from her desk. He scribbled on the paper and then stood up, slowly walking to the door.

“Check out the website and see what it’s about. This article will be for your monthly dating piece, so you have one month to visit and write up your thoughts and…” Again, Mr. Pearson’s face turned tomato red. “…and your experiences there. You can mention the name of The Lounge in your piece. In fact, they want that publicity. Apparently, people who have never visited get the impression it’s a brothel or something. It’s not.”

  “Sir, I don’t know…”

“Lexi, I would never put you in a dangerous situation. This is more of a review piece than an expose. They have a clean place with strict rules and they just asked if we could shine a little light on their establishment.”

Lexi looked at the name of the website on the piece of paper in her hands. She noticed her hand shaking.

“I will email you the rest of the details, but I felt I should tell you about it in person first. And, if all goes well, the article will help our website and of course, that means a bonus for you.” Mr. Pearson was already one step out of her office. “Have a nice weekend.”

  “Lacey!”

“What’s up, Lex?” Lacey’s voice was husky as she panted over the phone line.

“Are you having…?” Lexi left the question open.

“Not anymore,” Lacey giggled. There were whispers and the rustling of material on the other end of the phone.

  “I’ll call back.” Lex smirked.

“No, we’re good. All good. What’s up?”

“I have got to tell you about my next piece for the website. You are going to FLIP!” Lexi stared at the website in front of her as she leaned back in her kitchen chair. “Can you come over tonight?”

“Sure. I’ll be there in an hour. I’ll pick up some wine on the way.”

“Make it something stronger. Like vodka.”

“Oh damn. This must be good. See you in a bit.”

Lexi leaned forward and clicked on the different tabs of the website. It was a couple’s lounge, but they also allowed single women every night and one night a hand full of single men were allowed entrance. She could easily go in as a single, but she wondered if it wouldn’t be worth it to bring a man along. She read the “About Us” page and realized quickly that this wasn’t a sex club. It was far more upscale and she could easily walk out of there without any sexual encounter at all.

Scrolling down the page, she read about the different aspects of The Lounge. There were dancing and other night club elements, as well as voyeuristic opportunities on the upper levels of the club. They boasted “the sensual and sublime to the intense and erotic” and even though she knew these places existed, she had no idea they were so classy. Not to mention there was one within a couple hours drive of her house. She kept reading, hoping to find any indication that it might be one of those clubs for Dom/Sub scenarios, but didn’t see any. Not that she had any issues with BDSM…for other people. It just wasn’t her thing. All in all, it looked like a fantastic sensual experience with discretion and security first and foremost.

“I’m here!” Lacey bellowed as she walked in to Lexi’s house.

“Damn, that was quick.” Lexi sat up quickly, blushing as if she’d been caught watching a porno or something.

“No, hon, it’s been an hour.

Lexi glanced at her watch and realized it she had lost an hour on the website and in her imagination.

Lexi spent the two hours explaining her boss’ request and what she found on the site. She sat back and watched Lacey go through each page of the website, eyes wide and mouth gaping. Lexi felt her mouth tip in a grin as she watched Lacey squirm in her seat.

“Oh god, Lex. I want to go there. Can we all go, you think?”

  “All?”

  “Wouldn’t you take someone?”

“Um, well, single ladies are encouraged. And, I write to single ladies.”

“Oh but, Lex. This sounds like the most exciting thing for a couple to enjoy. And, I love you but I am not going there without Shawn.” Lacey giggled.

  “But…”

  “We could ask Dante.”

There it is. She was setting Lex up with Dante.

“Lace…” Lexi cautioned her best friend.

“No. Think about it. You guys have already had sex, so there’s no awkwardness. And, from what it says here, it can be very casual and you can simply watch. And, if the mood strikes…well, you will be with a hot guy who knows how to rock your world.”

Without letting her answer, Lacey went back to the website and read out loud, “tantra chair, lounger with restraints and a sex swing. Ooooh. I am SO going this week.”

“Lacey!” Lex couldn’t help but laugh as her best friend hopped in her chair.

“Okay, well I got to get back home. Shawn and Dante were going out for a bit, but my man should be back home now and after being on that website, I think I am in the mood for some more loving.

“Uh…Okay.” For the first time, Lexi felt sex novice deprived. Lacey had really come out of her shell since meeting and marrying Shawn. Now if only could score a regular guy who would be at her sexual beck and call. She sighed, closing the laptop and showing her friend to the door.

  ****

“Hello?” Lexi grumbled in to the phone, trying to rub the sleep from her eyes. Nine o’clock? Who the hell would call her at nine on a Saturday?

“Hey, sexy,” the deep voice rumbled through the phone. Lexi’s stomach clenched as her sex started to throb. Only one man had that deep voice and that effect on her body. Dante.

“Hey.” Lexi sat up, suddenly self-conscious about her appearance. Not like he could see her, but she smoothed her hair anyway.

“Are you free tonight?” Dante’s deep voice sent chills down her spine.

  “Um, I think so.”

“I’d like to take you out to dinner, if you don’t have plans.”

“That would be nice.” What? Nice? That would be awesome.

“I’ll pick you up at six then. It’s a fairly nice place, so dress up.”

  “Oh…okay.”

  “See you then.” Click.

Lexi looked at the phone, staring at it. What was that about? Lexi quickly dialed Lacey and told her what happened. Apparently, Lacey had mentioned that I wanted to see him again and gave him Lexi’s cell number. Lexi wanted to throttle her best friend, and at the same time, was relieved she didn’t have to make the first move.

“You look lovely tonight,” Dante said as he escorted Lexi to his BMW. He looked great himself, Lexi thought. A navy blue suit tailored to accent his wide shoulders, narrow hips, and thick legs. The contrast of the pale pink button down shirt made his olive skin darker. His dark hair was perfectly slicked back along the sides and his smooth chiseled face was dark, enhancing the perfect white smile he brandished.

“Thank you, Dante. You look handsome yourself.” Lexi felt her cheeks warm as she realized she was staring at him, and he was watching her as she did.

The ride to the restaurant calmed Lexi’s nerves a bit as they talked about random, vague topics. Neither had mentioned their last encounter even though the memory of it kept her up every night. She had to play it cool with Dante, as she did with every other guy she’d fucked. Even though what happened between them blew her mind.

The first half of their date proceeded quite nicely. They sat at a quiet table near the back of the restaurant, enjoyed drinks and dinner. Dante seemed interested in her job and her life and Lexi was amazed that Dante didn’t work on Wall Street, but rather owned a few private gyms in the tri-state area. She knew he was muscular under that button-down shirt, her memories of his arms holding her effortlessly while he pounded away at her just a few weeks earlier was evidence of that.

The couple at the table next to them left and that was when the date took a turn. Alone in the back of the restaurant, Lexi felt the atmosphere shift. Dante was looking at her differently now. Instead of his eyes twinkling and his face relaxed, his eyes were now dark and his face hard. Before she could ask if he was alright, Dante reached across the table and firmly grasped her wrist.

“I have an offer to make you, Lexi. That is why I asked you here tonight.”

Lexi felt her heart thumping and with the grip he had on her at that moment, she began to panic. Dante gave her a wicked grin and she felt her desire for him overtake her panic.

“Lacey told me about The Lounge. I happen to be friends with the owners. I want you to go with me. Alone. Tonight.”

Lexi’s heart began to race, the thought of going to a sex club with Dante overwhelming her mind. She wanted to have sex with this man again, but she didn’t want to do it publicly.

As if reading her mind Dante said, “We won’t have sex. I want to take you there and show you pleasures you’ve never imagined.”

  “But, Lacey and Shawn…”

“Will go with us next time. There is more to my offer though, Lexi. We will not have sex tonight. But, in the event that you ask me for it, then you must agree to accompany me every weekend for the next month.”

“But, why? I mean, what do you get out of it? What do I?”

“Well, I can offer you money, but I don’t think that will sit well with you. To be honest, I enjoy my erotic pleasures and want to have a willing partner. I am not looking for a relationship. I just want sex. I have particular demands that require discretion and complete understanding. And, for you, you will have pleasure. Pleasure given freely by someone who appreciates your body, your needs, your desires; someone who will show you respect and cares.”

Lexi pulled her wrist free from Dante and began folding the cloth napkin in her lap, eyes downcast. The offer was fair and if she was honest with herself, enticing. There was a small part of her that was confused by this man. He was sweet and nice to talk to one minute, then the next he was dark and sexy and completely caveman-ish. Her thoughts took a quick left turn and imagined being slung over Dante’s shoulder as he grunted and took her to his cave where he would do wonderful, nasty things to her.

“Alexis!” Dante’s voice shocked her back to the present.

“So, let’s say I was considering this.” Lexi tried to compose herself. “What are the rules?”

Lexi looked in to his eyes for just a second and saw the hunger there. Breaking away, she stared down at the napkin in her lap that she was still twisting in her fingers.

“Very simple. The Lounge is not a fetish club or sex club. As you know, it is very upscale. We will go tonight and let you explore. If you want to try something, we will. If you want to merely watch, we can. There are many levels of pleasure available and the hostesses are good at their job. They will make you feel comfortable and answer your questions. You must follow the rules of The Lounge, of course. As for our agreement, it all depends on what you do tonight. If you ask me for sex, then we will discuss the rules for our future visits. If not, then we will part ways.”

Lexi wondered if she could watch other people have sex and not want it herself. Especially with how attracted to Dante she was. Her mind also wandered to her own experiences. Most were simple “wham-bam-thank-you-man” experiences with a quick fuck in a closet or in a car. And, if the guy didn’t make her come, she never saw him again. She had done a little bit with spanking, biting, tie-ups and nipple clamps, but f
or the most part, she hadn’t found one guy that made her so hot that she’d repeat the experiences. Until Dante. Just the way he looked at her made her cream her panties and pant like a dog in heat. Just remembering his thick cock in her that one night was enough to have her touching herself frantically. She couldn’t imagine not wanting to have sex with him tonight. She wanted it right now.

  “Okay, I’ll go.”

Dante waved for the check and within a few short minutes they were on the road headed for The Lounge.

  ****

Lexi fumbled with the hem of her dress as they pulled up to the parking garage near The Lounge. It was only a couple hundred of feet away from their destination and as they walked to the doors, Lexi took notice of the beautiful people standing in line. Some were dressed in long coats, which undoubtedly hid much more risqué outfits underneath. Every one was smiling and the excitement was exhilarating. There were no single men, as they were only allowed admittance on Friday nights. Most of the people standing in the line were exquisite couples, with a few single women chatting away as well.

The building seemed quite small and fairly ordinary with its brick face and few neon lights. Lexi had been to clubs in Manhattan, very similar and knew that the outside masked the fun to be had just on the inside of the simple door. Dante held on to Lexi with one hand, while carrying a brown bag of mixed liquors in the other. Lexi knew, from reading the website that the bartenders did not provide liquor, but made any drink you requested based on what you brought with you.

The music was loud and thumping as they drew closer to the door. A large gentleman with arms like tree trunks smiled and shook hands with Dante. He gave a smile to Lexi as well and introduced himself as Mac. He looked like a Mack truck, and Lexi was relieved just knowing he was there. She’d never been down to this part of town, her focus had always been on the casinos and hotels nearby. She nodded to Mack as he stepped aside to allow them entrance.

Lexi looked around at the sight before her. It was dark inside, but the neon lights lit up the dance floor in an exotic hue. Bodies were bumping and grinding to a club mix and she found herself moving as well. Dante looked down at her, arching one eyebrow. Lexi merely shrugged.
