“Should we bother putting anything on?” Sorin asked, grinning wickedly at her.

Hannah shook her head and reached for the buttons of her shirt, and instantly had both her mates’ hands helping hers. She was soon just as naked as they were in the cool spring air, alone with them in the night.

Their hands ran over her body, caressing her sweetly. Sorin nuzzled along the chain of her necklace, kissing all around the sparkling pendant as his hands cupped her breasts, teasing at her nipples. Radu kissed her throat as his hands moved lower, following the curves of her hips and thighs.

She parted her legs, letting Radu’s fingers dip between to find where she was already wet and hot for them, wanting again.

“We don’t have to,” Radu murmured. “If you’re tired—we wore you out once already today.”

Hannah shook her head. “I want to. I want to make it official. Whatever happens tomorrow, I want you both to be mine. I want to be yours.”

Radu’s fingers stroked lightly over her folds as Sorin pinched her nipples. Hannah cried out, arching between them and staring up at the night sky. “Yes, yes.”

“Inside, then,” Sorin said, and he swept her into his arms as easily as he did in dragon shape.

Hannah rubbed shamelessly against him as they moved into the darkness of the cave, loving the feeling of his naked skin against hers, his arms supporting her easily. She watched Radu over Sorin’s shoulder. She could see his cock filling with every stride, growing hard for her, just as she could feel Sorin’s brushing against her. They both wanted this every bit as much as she did.

  “Here we are,” Sorin murmured.

Hannah turned to look and gasped. They had reached Radu and Sorin’s hoard, a huge heap of gold in a cave big enough to accommodate them both in dragon shape. In the pale light filtering down from above, she could see that it was a mix of white and yellow gold. Coins and jewelry and other gold pieces were all jumbled together in the mound.

What really drew Hannah’s eye, though, were the two hollows on the near side of the heap of gold, and the space between them.

“This is where you slept,” she said, looking back and forth from Radu to Sorin, tenderness washing through her. “When you—when I sent you away.”

“And it might as well have been a pile of dirt,” Radu murmured, stepping in to kiss her. “Without you.”

“Will you give yourself?” Sorin murmured, pressing close on her other side. “Will you join our hoard and let us treasure you more than anything else we’ve ever possessed?”

  “I’m all yours,” Hannah promised.

She glanced at the hoard again. It was so glittery and shiny, and her eyes were adjusting to the low light, letting her pick out ever more fascinating details.

  “Isn’t it... cold, though?”

Sorin laughed and lifted her up, carrying her right up onto the pile and laying her down. The gold under her felt cool, like lying down on clean sheets, but not really cold, and not nearly as lumpy and hard as it should have been. It shifted gently under her as she wriggled around to look up at Radu and Sorin, kneeling on either side of her.

Radu reached out to run his fingers over the pendant of the necklace they’d given her, lying between her breasts. Sorin traced the line of the bracelet around her wrist.

“We did say there would be more,” Radu murmured.

As Hannah watched, he tugged up a fistful of gold from the hoard. Fine chains dangled from his hand, brushing against her skin.

She turned her head when she felt the same cool touch on her other side, and found Sorin holding a similar handful of chains.

“Let me have it, then.” Hannah raised her arms above her head, splaying her legs out as she offered herself to them.

She saw Sorin’s cock twitch at that, and Radu leaned down to kiss her fiercely, his tongue stroking eagerly into her mouth. She moaned against his mouth, feeling Sorin’s hands and the gold he held wrapping around her wrists, binding her in place.

Radu pulled back and moved between her legs, wrapping gold around her ankles. The shimmering weight spread her wider for them, and kept her still while Radu kissed his way up her thighs.

Sorin was above her, lacing something golden through her hair so that she could barely lift her head. He leaned over to kiss her mouth as Radu’s mouth touched her pussy.

Hannah arched between them, pleasure igniting from both. She jerked her wrists against the gold that held her in place, and the touch of the chains was cool and gentle but it didn’t let her move an inch. Sorin’s mouth was hot on hers, and Radu was only making her hotter, licking around her pussy and nuzzling at her clit.

She moaned against Sorin’s mouth, trying to beg for more without words, and she flexed her hips up against Radu as best she could. He licked right inside and teased with his fingers as Sorin kissed her harder, deeper.

Finally Hannah pulled away and gasped, “I need you, I need—please, I need more, I need you both.”

Radu moved up over her, dragging more gold chains from the pile around him as he did. He draped them over her belly and coiled them around her breasts, kissing every curve of her body as he went. Sorin leaned over her to meet him, drawing gold down over her throat and lavishing kisses and touches over every inch.

Just when she thought she couldn’t bear to wait anymore, Radu settled between her thighs, and she felt the head of his cock brushing against her. Sorin drew back to let Radu kiss her, but he didn’t make her ask again; as his tongue pushed into her mouth she felt his length slide into her, filling her.

Her body lit with pleasure and she moaned against his mouth as he moved deep inside her. But it didn’t take long before she was looking for Sorin. She needed both of her mates, and she didn’t want to let either of them wait; she wanted both at once.

She tore her mouth from Radu’s, and he kept kissing along her throat as he moved slowly inside her.

Sorin was right beside her when she looked, lying crosswise to her, close enough to kiss.

“Sorin—” Hannah’s breath caught in a moan as Radu moved deep in her at just the right angle. She could feel the pleasure building in her, but she didn’t want to finish without Sorin. They were three; they belonged together.

“Please, let me,” she said, licking her lips, and Sorin groaned and darted in for a kiss, but he was already moving to give her what she wanted.

He curled himself around her so that her head was almost in his lap. He wrapped a hand around his cock and brought it to her lips. Hannah opened wide for it, flicking her tongue out to taste him.

Sorin gasped and finally moved, pushing his cock into her mouth. Hannah moaned around him and sucked him, coaxing him to give her more as Radu kept moving slow and deep inside her. This was what she wanted, both her mates inside her at once. She loved the taste and smell of Sorin’s cock, the weight of it on her tongue as it stretched her mouth open.

Sorin’s hand was on her cheek now, holding her gently as she took him inside. Radu was hitting just the right spot inside her, making her cry out around Sorin’s cock, and the gold draped over her, weighing her down, seemed to caress her everywhere, heavy and warm.

This was what it meant to belong to both of them, to belong to the hoard. This was what it meant to love two dragons. They were driving her wild together with every moment, and she knew that the two of them would give her all she could take.

She felt her orgasm rising, the fire of pleasure gathering all over her body, and she wanted to bring them with her. She sucked eagerly at Sorin’s cock, moving in rhythm with Radu, and she heard them both gasp her name in warning just before she was lost, coming on their cocks.

She felt Radu’s hands tighten on her, tasted Sorin’s come spilling over her tongue. She knew that they were all together, and beyond that the details were lost in the haze of her climax.

She turned toward a soft kiss brushed over her sensitized lips, and realized that she could move. Her mates were curled around her, the chains that held her loosened to a
net, or a blanket. She squirmed under the golden weight, resting her head on Radu’s chest and pulling Sorin’s arm around her.

  “Now it’s official?” Hannah murmured.

“Oh yes.” Sorin nuzzled her hair and stroked a hand down over her side, touching as much gold as skin. “You made your choice. You’re all ours now.”

“Everything else,” Radu murmured, “will be a mere formality.”

  ***

Campaigning on election day was prohibited, but Hannah did insist on going to the poll to vote, since they weren’t actually sequestered in the big house. Sorin and Radu both insisted on wearing their Committee to Elect Hannah Cole t-shirts, but Hannah persuaded Sorin to put on a hoodie over his, and Radu pulled on a tailored jacket that covered most of the words.

As they walked back from the elementary school toward Hannah’s little red house, Sorin said idly, “We’ll have to change the signs. One way or another, the big house won’t be the mayor’s house anymore.”

Hannah tried to imagine anyone referring to her little red house in the middle of its block as the mayor’s house, and then she followed the line of Sorin’s gaze. He was studying the grand old Victorian house on the corner, which backed up onto Gray’s Landing.

Hannah had been there plenty of times; it was a vaguely public building, used by the local historical society and as a part time art gallery. Fancy mayoral events with out-of-towners who Gus didn’t want to invite to his own home were held there.

“It was Great-Great-Grandmother Elizabeth’s house,” Radu said thoughtfully. “She was the first and longest-serving female mayor of Gray’s Hollow, you know. She held office for over thirty years before she retired and Great-Grandfather Augustin took over.”

“It’s still family property,” Sorin observed. “And you know, the town really ought to have a proper historical-museum-slash-art-gallery. We could build one. If the new mayor was interested in such a project, of course.”

Hannah thought of the upstairs master bedroom where she had seen art displayed: it was full of light, with a beautiful view of the park and the river. There was plenty of space for a king-sized bed.

She looked back and forth between her mates and said, “Well, the mayor really ought to live in a house that can host parties.”

Sorin looked delighted, Radu slightly pained, but they both smiled just for her when she squeezed their hands.

  ***

Most of Gray’s Hollow gathered at the town hall steps to hear the results of the election. All voters had been accounted for a little after six, so it wasn’t yet eight o’clock when Maria stepped outside with the official results in hand.

Hannah, Radu, and Sorin were standing near the top of the steps, visible to the crowd as they stood pressed together. Gus stood one step above them, by the chair he’d set up for Cara, who held a sleeping Elena—probably a future mayor herself. Laurence had, as promised, vanished shortly after casting his ballot, but Ilie and Becca and Teo were gathered a little further down the steps.

Maria brandished a clipboard in one hand and a wireless microphone in the other. “Well, this is a little more suspense than usual, isn’t it?”

There was a good-natured laugh from the crowd, and Hannah couldn’t tell whether she was squeezing Radu and Sorin’s hands tighter than they were squeezing hers.

“Okay, without further ado,” Maria said. “Write-in candidate Hannah Cole received three hundred forty-seven votes.”

Hannah closed her eyes. That was a vast improvement on her last try, but it was barely ten percent of the vote.

“Ballot candidate Radu Gray,” Maria went on, “received three hundred ninety-eight votes.”

Hannah’s eyes flashed open. Even added together, that accounted for less than a quarter of the town’s votes. She looked nervously toward Gus. Had people gotten fed up with the choice between her and Radu and voted Gus back in?

Gus didn’t look the least bit surprised by this turn of events, though. He looked... satisfied.

“Write-in candidate Sorin Gray received eleven votes,” Maria announced, to a round of laughter led by Sorin himself, who raised his free hand as if in triumph and did a cheerful little dance while Hannah and Radu looked at each other.

If it wasn’t you or me...

  And it wasn’t him...

“The clear winner, with over seventy-five percent of the vote,” Maria announced, “is the write-in co-mayorship of Hannah Cole, Radu Gray, and Sorin Gray.”

A huge, raucous cheer went up from the crowd, and this time it was led by a happy shout from Gus himself, raising his hands to applaud enthusiastically.

Hannah looked back and forth from one mate to the other too stunned for a moment to even celebrate. There wasn’t any hope of saying anything aloud, but Hannah said silently to Sorin, You’re going to be attending all the state board meetings, Mayor Gray.

She did say public relations, Radu added.

Sorin was beaming. “Mayor Gray,” he shouted. “Me! Mayor Gray!”

And you, and you, he added silently. I do the charm, you two do the work. What a perfect division of labor.

Hannah looked over her shoulder at Gus, who was still cheering.

Is this legal? She asked him silently.

He grinned hugely, right at her. Just signed the amendment to the town charter an hour ago. As soon as people quiet down I’ll be swearing you in as co-mayors.

Hannah looked out at the crowd again and finally began to believe it.

Teo was leading some kind of celebratory dance. People were still cheering, and when she tugged her mates in for a hug they only cheered louder.

The whole town was cheering for her. For them, all three together, who they’d chosen. The mated mayors of Gray’s Hollow.
