Manha: Warriors Of Ition Page 3

by Starr, Maia

I pulled open a pocket on my flight suit pants and pulled out some tools. I aimed a sharp point at the panel and then hit it with the back of my hand. Crack, the wall cracked open. I pulled and yanked at it. Wires. I didn't know which ones to cut or pierce together.

Then the door suddenly opened. I thought I had done it myself, but then an Ition stepped in. He was the one that had caused the door to open.

I was shocked by this Ition. He had long blue-black hair that was shaved on one side and it stood out in sharp contrast to his blue skin. He was wearing the same Yinta Clan uniform. He stood there staring at me as though he was shocked to find me in there. I was struck by just how attractive he was. Again, these Ition soldiers took me by surprise with their good looks and arrogant confidence.

“What do you want?” I said as he just stood there and said nothing.

  “You.”

  Chapter Three

  Commander Manha Ayre

We had a plan; it was a good plan but a dangerous one. Once I heard that General Mez had captured a human female, I knew that we had to rescue her. We couldn't let the Leader Xeonov have a female from the human species. I never failed at my missions. We secured a small civilian ship, one small enough to evade tracking but still good enough to make the jump to hyperspeed. The plan was to start a small attack on one of the other fleet ships farthest away from General Mez. It was a decoy. We knew that any hostility would draw him to the flight deck to oversee the fight and to see what was going on. This would give me time to land the civilian ship, go inside, and rescue the human female.

I dressed as a mere Yinta Clan foot soldier. I moved through the ship with my hooded cloak on passing soldiers on the way. No one thought to stop me. Why would they? No one knew who I was. Only General Mez himself would be able to identify me, and that was if he stood directly in front of me, not merely saw me walking down the hallways of his ship.

I made my way down the hall; I could hear the chaos as soldiers shouted about the unidentified ship that was attacking them. Some thought it was just a stray pirate ship after merchandise. But who would be dumb enough to attack the Yinta Clan? But since Mez did not have the entire Yinta Clan Fleet with him and only had five ships, it would be pirates that would take advantage of this.

I moved through the ship, and I made my way down the hall. I knew exactly where he would take the human female: a prisoner room. I heard loud banging down the hall as though someone was trying to break out. Could that be her? I followed the noise, but then it stopped. I took a chance on a door. I pulled open the panel and maneuvered some hacking. The door and I stepped in.

I looked at the chains; they were empty. To my left, the human female stood with the wires of the panel lock in her hands.

I was shocked. Not only was I shocked to see her taking such a proactive approach to her capture, but also surprised that she was able to get that panel open. She was trying to escape. But what shocked me even more, was her beauty. Her red hair was in a braid going down the side of her head. Her green eyes flashed fire. Her ample body was evident in the fitted clothing that she wore. She was breathing hard, making her ample breasts heave up and down. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She was damn sexy. This human female was making me feel desire and lust for her with just one look. I was very glad that Evex Ein had sent me to save her.

“Don’t be scared. I have come to rescue you, human,” I said to her.

“What? But you are an Ition; what do you mean?” she said looking confused.

“I am not with the Yinta Clan; just come with me no time to waste,” I said putting my hand out to her. She looked at me up and down. Her green eyes were calculating.

“I am doing fine on my own; I was just about to open the door, see. I can get myself out of this,” she said sticking her chin in the air. I remembered then that Evex had said the human females were the most stubborn creatures he had ever met.

“Yes, you are so smart you got yourself captured.”

“How dare you speak to me like—”

“Enough. Come with me, or I will have to drag you out of here,” I said.

“You won’t get far if I’m kicking and screaming.”

“So you want to stay here? You want to stay with the Yinta Clan? Do you know what Mez will do to you?”

“I don’t want to stay with the Yinta Clan, but I don’t want to go with you. You are an Ition. I don’t trust you either. This is some sort of trick.”

“So you don’t want me to take you back to Earth?”

She froze. “You would take me back to Earth?”

“Yes, and I can take you to Earth but the Yinta Clan will be back any second. I don’t plan on getting myself caught, and I am leaving now. Come with me or stay,” I said and turned to look out the doorway. It was clear. I walked out.

  “Wait.”

She came to my side. I pulled out my blaster gun and pushed her in front of me.

“Stay in front of me as my prisoner. If we are seen, we have to make it look like just your standard prisoner transfer. Understood?”

  “Yes.”

We walked down the hall; I led her in the same direction that I had arrived. I was docked in a small emergency medical docking port that was hardly ever used.

  “How much farther?” she whispered.

  “Quiet, prisoner,” I said.

She sighed. I could tell that she was going to make this as difficult as possible. Why couldn't she just listen? Her questions could put us in danger, but that didn't stop her.

“Who are you? I need to know,” she whispered turning her head over her shoulder.

I pushed her forward slightly. “I said no talking.”

She was definitely stubborn. She was not obeying orders. Didn't she know that I needed her to act her part if this was going to go smoothly? Finally, we entered the docking port that I had used to enter. There were dead Ition soldiers, two of them, on the ground.

  “What happened?” She asked.

“I happened,” I said. The door of the docking bay closed behind us. Now we could escape.

“Hurry! My ship is this way! We don't have much time,” I ran to my ship and opened the door. She climbed in. Seeing her ample ass in front of me as she climbed the ladder stirred my cock. I wanted to reach out and grab it. I put my hand on her ass and pushed her up the ladder.

“Hey! I can do this myself!” she shouted.

“I am just trying to help,” I smiled.

Touching her felt good, even if it was a stolen touch.

I climbed in after her and turned on the engine.

“Strap in. As soon as the bay door opens, we are taking off, fast.”

  “Okay,” she strapped in.

“What if they shoot at us?”

“Yes, that is possible. This is a very dangerous mission. We could die,” I said.

  She gasped.

I smiled. I liked putting her on edge. It felt good. My ship was ready. I opened the bay door. The ship shot out into space. Fast, but not fast enough. Suddenly a blast went by us.

  “What was that?” she shouted.

“We have a battleship on our tail. I guess General Mez sent out a few small battleships to fire at the attacking ship. I'll have to lose them,” I said. I moved the ship in a zigzag motion, buying us time.

“They are going to hit us!”

“I am going to jump into hyperspeed. Just a few more seconds,” I said pushing in the calculations and the coordinates.

“Now!” I said as I hit the hyperspeed control.

  “What are you doing?”

The ship jolted twice. I thought it was strange. There should only be one jolt as the ship took off into hyperspeed. Everything out in front of us completely blurred.

  “Aahhh!” she screamed.

  I looked at her shocked.

“What is happening? Are we dying?” she said.

“No, we are in hyperspeed. Have you never been in hyperspeed before?”

“No, up until a few days ago I
had never flown a ship or been in space before. I spend my time on the ground. Thank you very much,” she said as she braced herself, holding on to the seat and wall. I restrained a laugh. But it wasn't possible; I started laughing loudly.

  “What is so damn funny?”

“You, human female. You are so naive,” I said.

“I am not. Just because I am not an Ition soldier like you that spends his time crossing galaxies and murdering every species he comes across does not make me naive. It makes me a good-hearted creature, not a black-hearted one like you.”

“This black-hearted creature saved you from General Mez,” I said getting angry. How dare she judge me. I was doing my duty, and I did it damn well. Working under Evex Ein was the most prestigious position possible in the galaxy. He trusted me, and I trusted him. I loathed the species that stayed on their planets and did nothing to achieve greatness. They simply ate, slept, and shit, and that was it. It was boring. There were greater things to achieve in the world than simply living. Of course, I didn't expect this red-haired human to understand that. She wanted things her way and her way only.

“You are just like the human Imuna,” I mumbled.

“Imuna! You know of her? Where is she?” she shouted.

Shit. Perhaps I said too much. The humans did not know about Imuna and Evex Ein, and it was supposed to stay that way.

“I need to know where Imuna is. Tell me everything you know. What has happened to her?” she rambled. But I wasn't paying attention. The blinking yellow light on the dash caught my attention. Then it turned orange, and a siren went off.

  “Fuck!” I shouted.

“What? What is it? Are we going to die?”

But I didn't answer her. I went to work pulling the ship out of hyperspeed; we were nowhere near my intended destination, only halfway there, and I had no idea where we were. The ship slowed down and then finally came to normal speed. It was then that the alarm blared together one after another.

“No. Mother fucker…” I said as I began to flip switches and map a course.

“What? What is happening? Answer me! Are we going to die?” she shouted.

“We are if you don’t shut up and let me think, damn human!” I shouted getting her to back the hell off of me.

She went quiet. It worked. But even her silence could not help the situation that we were about to find ourselves in. This was not good. It was then that I realized what the problem was as the diagnostics ran and came up on my screen. I grabbed the radio transmitter.

“I don’t know where I am. Do you copy this? Mayday?”

  “What? We’re hit?” she shouted.

  “Do you copy?”

  Static was the only response.

  Chapter Four

  Karina Nolin

I couldn't believe it. This Ition knew where Imuna was. I had so many questions for him, but there was no time. I didn't even know who he was. I didn't know his name. I only knew that he was an Ition and Ition were not to be trusted, no matter how attractive they were. This particular one was extremely attractive, but he also had a mouth on him. Everything I said he had a comeback for. It drove me insane. Especially because we were already in a particularly stressful situation. I was in full on panic mode. I knew something was wrong with the ship, but I didn't know what.

“Damn it, Ition! Tell me what the hell is going on!”

“One of the engines is out and the other one is about done.”

“What? You have got to be kidding me,” I said.

“I am not kidding you, human. It seems we caught blaster fire in the fight.”

“Fight? That wasn't a fight; you didn't even try. You just ran away.”

“And if I had not run away, we would both be dead right now. Now be quiet so I can land this thing!”

  “Land? Land where?”

“There,” he said pointing to a purple planet.

  “Then where is that?”

“I don’t know but there is land, and it looks hospitable. Let’s hope I am right,” he said.

“What if it’s dangerous? We can’t go there,” I said.

“Oh, you think space isn’t dangerous? We can’t stay up here. Once both engines are out, we will drift forever. I do not want to spend my last hours starving and having to deal with you and your constant chatter,” he said flying the ship toward the planet.

“Oh! You! You… ugh!” I couldn’t think of an insult because we were now in a serious dive toward the planet. He was an intense flyer, that was for sure, or extremely reckless. I didn't know. I only knew that I was completely terrified. I looked over at him. He was completely concentrating on the task at hand. A stray strand of his blue-black hair fell over his brow, making him look very sexy. I pulled my eyes away from him and looked directly ahead. We were headed straight for that purple planet, and soon we were entering the atmosphere, and a purple glow surrounded us.

“Slow down! You are going to kill us!”

  “No, I am not.”

Suddenly the purple around us turned into lavender; white clouds were in the sky. It was beautiful. I would be able to enjoy it if I didn't feel like I was about to meet my doom. Lush: it looked to me like there were a lot of trees and greenery, but I couldn't really tell at the speed that we were going. I could see blue blobs that I could only assume were lakes.

The ship started to slow down, and I looked at the Ition stranger, he was in control. He was the one slowing down the ship. I was impressed, but of course, I wasn't going to say that out loud to him. There would be no point in that.

“That lake, that is going to cushion our landing,” he said.

“It is going to what? No!”

But it was too late. He was already in motion with this plan. The ship’s belly took out trees underneath us and vines. Going through the vines slowed down the ship some but not completely. Soon there was water spraying up over the windshield and all around us. The ship came to a slow stop.

The Ition soldier looked over at me.

  “Are you all right?”

“Yes, I think so,” I said looking at myself.

The ship let out a loud groan, metal folding. Then water began to gather around my feet. I screamed.

“Get out of your seat! We need to get out of here!”

I quickly unbuckled the seat belt around me. I stood up and splashed in the water. The Ition soldier was in the back of the ship draping on various bags around him. He tossed one at me.

  “Put this on!”

I draped the bag across my body. Then I went to the door.

“Wait, the water is going to rush in. Let me,” he said as he moved to the door. I watched as his strong body pulled down on the manual lever. The water began to rush in, but I could tell that he was putting his body against it, making it slower. Then he opened the door enough for us to get out.

“Do you know how to swim, human?”

  “Yes, of course.”

“Swim toward the back of the ship. We were on land a few yards away; it is in the direction of the back of the ship. Swim hard,” he said. Then he put his hand out to me. I hesitated.

“Come on, do you want to drown in here?”

I put my hand in his, and he went out first, dragging me behind him. We pushed into the water. I kept my head above the waves. It was daytime; I was glad for it. The water was very cold. I let go of the soldier and began to swim toward the back of the ship. I could see the land on the horizon; it wasn't too far away. I could feel him swimming behind me; I was surprised that he wasn't swimming beside me and moving ahead. But a part of me felt safe knowing that he was directly behind me. I didn't know what the hell was in this water.

Then I felt something move past my leg. I stopped swimming.

“What was that? Something moved by my leg.”

“Keep swimming. Don’t stop,” he said calmly.

I felt his hand on me, pushing me forward. I started swimming again. I swim faster this time. I didn't want to know what was in the water. Then I felt land un
derneath me. I stood up. The soldier stood up behind me. He grabbed my arm and ran toward the shore. Just then we heard the ship creaking and lots of splashing. We turned around. The ship was wrapped in tentacles, coming from some creature underneath the water. Then it let go of the ship and started moving toward us.

“Go! Go!” he shouted and grabbed my arm.

I ran, feeling a terrible fright inside of me. I didn't know if this creature was able to come up on land and I did not want to find out. We ran up onto the sand and didn't stop. We kept going into the thick green jungle. As soon as we entered, we were surrounded by sounds of creatures and critters all around us. The soldier kept running and pulling me along with him. He didn't stop until we came to a clearing, a field with very low grass.

I pulled my hand from him and put my hands on my knees, doubled over catching my breath. The soldier was looking around him. I got a good look at him for the first time since leaving the ship. His long blue-black hair was wet, and strands of it stuck against him. His wet gray uniform clung against him, showing his muscular form. I couldn't believe that I was checking him out. This awful alien that wanted to raid my home, I was finding him attractive. It was wrong.
