“It went fine. I disliked it when they asked why they should hire me,” said Hilary.

“I know. I hate that question. It’s like, ‘I don’t know. Gee, because I need a job and you need a worker.’” Callie trimmed her pubic hair, greeted by the clean, fresh scent of baby powder and the floral musk of her perfume. “How did you answer?”

“I told them I was a hedonistic human being who had pleasured many people and knew how to use ropes and a phony phallus to bring my sexual partners great pleasure. I told them the idea of learning the secrets of the latest instruments they had aroused me to the point of madness.”

Callie wanted to crack up, but she simply grinned. “Well, that was straightforward. It’s time for the wax now. It’s going to be warm.”

Hilary closed her eyes contentedly. “Mm, it feels like you are smearing honey on my quim.”

Callie felt a swell of heat in her cheeks and stomach. She remained professional, but this seemed a little too personal for business as usual. She placed a strip of cloth over the wax covering her pubic hair. “This part feels nice, but the next part won’t. I apologize in advance.”

Hilary snickered. “Callie, I can assure you I’m capable of tolerating pain. Aaahhh!”

Callie yanked the cloth away and with it a strip of hair, revealing pink skin beneath. “I’m sorry, just a few more.”

“I wasn’t prepared for that, but I will be quiet now.” Hilary simply winced slightly through the rest of it.

“Can I ask you a personal question?”

  “I suppose.”

“When you had sex for the first time, did you bleed?” Were it anyone else, Callie wouldn’t dare to ask this, let alone when waxing a pussy, but Hilary was her bestie.

“Aye, I did. That is normal. It is merely your maidenhead breaking. It hurts too, but once it’s gone and you’re stretched the pain leaves and it feels good.”

Callie said nothing. She wiped some cream over the sensitized flesh to remove the excess wax. Her labia looked so smooth and soft, she half wished she didn’t have to wear gloves so she could feel the likely baby-soft skin.

Hilary sat up when she handed her a mirror. “My god, I look beautiful.”

Callie chuckled. “Yes, you do. You should try some other places in town. I heard the magic shop is hiring and the coffee shop is too.”

“Thank you. I will consider them. Did you ever go to a physician to get assessed like the officers suggested?”

Callie’s eyes closed. “No. I’m afraid to.”

  “Why?”

  “I’m late.”

  “For what?”

“My period. What if I’m pregnant? I don’t want to have his baby. I wouldn’t abort it or anything, but I can’t raise a baby that’s going to make me think of Brent every time I look at it. Maybe I’m just late, but what if I go to the doctor and they discover something worse? What if he had some kind of disease? I don’t want to die at twenty-one.”

Hilary wrapped her arms around her. The consoling embrace brought peace and security. “I won’t let you die, but you must go to the doctor and get taken care of. Promise me.”

She nodded reluctantly, knowing the woman was right. “I promise.”

Cameron Hunter tried not to grin like a freaking idiot when he saw the five-foot-four beauty walk into his magic shop. She had long, straight, light-brown hair with natural caramel highlights in it. Her snug, black top hugged her voluptuous breasts, and the gray, pinstriped pants flared over her chunky, black heels. The way the fabric hugged her curves proved distracting. Her hazel eyes shone with life and perhaps more than a little wantonness. The delicious floral musk of her perfume filled the air.

“Are you the owner of this establishment?” she asked in a soft but sassy Scottish accent.

“Yes, I am. My name’s Cameron. What can I do for you?” He approached her, becoming even more ensnared by her beauty the closer he drew.

She extended her hand to him. “I am Hilary.”

And I’m in love, he thought to himself as he took her small hand in his. It felt warm and smooth like a woman should. “It’s nice to meet you, Hilary. What can I get for you?”

“I wish to work here for you, and your sign suggests you want me to as well.”

He grinned. “Well, we are hiring. I’ll have you fill out an application.”

He went behind the counter to get one. Damn, they were out. Was it bad that he wanted to hire her right on the spot because of her looks and appealing accent?

“This is a fine business, but I see nothing magical about it.”

“Well, it’s more of a magic-tricks store than a supply house for spell casters. I mean we do have some herbs and stuff, but that’s about it.”

  “Why not have both?”

“Why would I? There’s a couple of Wiccans in town, but nobody’s really casting any spells or using magic to my knowledge. That kind of stuff would be dangerous.”

  “Only in the wrong hands.”

“I seem to be out of applications at the moment. Just tell me about your history. What are your assets?”

“I have big breasts and I just got my quim waxed.”

Cameron flushed with embarrassment, chuckling in surprise. Well, that wasn’t the answer he’d anticipated. “I meant as far as your work history goes. Where have you worked? What are your strengths and weaknesses?”

He listened to her spew but couldn’t recall a word of it when she was done. He was too busy noticing how soft and supple her tan skin looked and how full and pouty her lips appeared. He wanted to kiss her. Geez, what was wrong with him? He never went nuts over his customers, but this woman was enthralling.

“You’re hired,” he blurted. “When can you start?”

Hilary seemed surprised but delighted. “Immediately.”

“Good. I’ll have you start on Monday.”

“Thank you, my good man. May heaven smile down on you and Satan not harass you in any way.”

Cameron couldn’t keep from snickering. “Thanks. You’re going to be fun to work with, I can tell. I’ll see you on Monday.”

  Chapter Three:

  Conspiracy

“How are you getting along with your boss?” Callie asked. She lay on the table as Hilary massaged her. The poor girl was tense with the dread of getting her test results back from the doctor, so Hilary thought a calming massage would help her relax.

“He is handsome and amiable, though I wish he would heed my advice to order supplies for real witchcraft, not that fake magician’s child play. Do you know he has spell books in the back for nostalgic purposes only? He thinks they are neat because of their history, but he won’t use them or allow others to use them. What an imbecile.” Hilary thought of his tight ass in those jeans and the pleasure she would have smacking it. His short, brown hair would feel so soft in her hands. She loved the way his shaggy side bangs added to the boyish appeal of his face. She could imagine those turquoise eyes looking up at her, silently pleading for release as she rubbed herself all over his lean, toned body to tease him. Why did she have these thoughts about her employer?

“I’m sorry, but wouldn’t that be bad if someone got a hold of those books and turned your boss into a crocodile?” Callie asked.

“I would like to turn the prude into a crocodile myself if he doesn’t permit authentic magic in his store,” Hilary grumbled.

“Aw, that would be cute. Maybe in time he will.” Callie became quiet as Hilary massaged her feet. “That feels good. Thank you.”

“You are welcome. What’s on your mind?”

She shrugged. “I was thinking how nice it would be if they had a spell that would turn someone into a big, steaming pile of crap. It would be a nice present for Brent.”

Hilary smiled. She hadn’t told Callie she was a witch, but her nonchalant idea for revenge sounded splendid. “Would you like me to do that for you?”

Callie smiled. “If only. He’ll get what’s coming to him once the police f
ind him. I only hope they catch him before he does that to someone else. What’s taking so long? I want the results.”

“You said they told you that you weren’t pregnant.”

“I know. I’m not, but they tested me for a bunch of diseases and said they would call me with the results. God, I’m so scared. What if—”

“Shh. You have nothing to fear. Just relax.” Hilary massaged up and down her legs. They really were long and glorious.

“Sometimes I just want to scream and hit something. I want to run far away, but there’s nowhere I can go to get away from the memory of him.”

Hilary could relate. She still feared Nex would find her but hadn’t seen or heard from him, so perhaps he didn’t have a clue where she was after all. “You can cry or scream in front of me. I don’t mind.”

“I feel like I’m going to go crazy if I don’t get release soon.”

Hilary smiled. So Callie was getting turned on too. She knew damned well how to give the troubled girl the release she craved. Her hand moved to Callie’s V. Only her flowered panties separated their skin from touching.

Callie flinched. “What are you doing?”

“Shh. This will make you feel better.”

“You’re touching my crotch. How is that supposed to make me feel better?”

“Just wait. I know what I’m doing. This will give you release.”

  “I don’t know. It’s kind of weird.”

“We change clothes in front of each other sometimes. How is this any worse?”

Callie lay back. “Okay, I guess it’s all right. Just don’t stick your finger inside of me. That would be too weird.”

“I won’t.” Hilary gently rubbed the cotton over her clit.

Callie drew in a sharp breath. “What is that?”

  “Your clitoris.”

  “That feels nice.”

“It will only get better.” She continued to massage the steadily growing nubbin, pleased at the increase in size.

“Can you go a little faster?”

“Of course.” Hilary stroked her clit faster, enjoying the way Callie’s body tensed and she pushed ever so slightly into her hand. Her pussy gushed when she felt the dampness of the other woman’s cunt seeping through her panties.

Beads of sweat glistened on Callie’s body as she panted in rapture. “It feels so good. Please don’t stop. I’ve never felt anything like this.”

Hilary smiled and slipped her fingers into Callie’s undies, unable to resist any longer. She felt her own pussy spasm lightly at the sound of Callie’s gasp when Hilary palpated her soaked cunt. Her curls were dampened with dew and her little clit was engorged with blood. She spread her cream to the bud and rubbed her fast and gentle.

Callie writhed against the table, whimpering with pleasure. “Oh my god! Oh, Hilary!”

The sound of her name on the blonde’s lips and the sight of her convulsing in passion on the table nearly sent Hilary over the edge. Callie cried out in tormented bliss as she came in her panties and all over Hilary’s fingers. She lay there mewling in nirvana as she tried to catch her breath.

Hilary sucked her fingers clean, savoring the woman’s tantalizing juices.

“Oh god, what was that? What did you do to me?”

  “I gave you an orgasm.”

Callie’s brown eyes widened in shock and she flew up in alarm. “That was an orgasm?”

“Aye. You’ve never had one before, have you?”

“No. Why did you give me one?”

  “You asked for release.”

“Yeah, I meant it would be nice to grab a coffee or a margarita, or maybe go for a walk, not sexual release.”

Hilary cocked her head to the side. “Are you really so dense you had no idea what I was doing to you?”

Callie glowered at her. “For your information, my parents told me virtually nothing about sex. All they said was penis goes into vagina and woman gets pregnant or a disease if she has premarital sex. They didn’t say anything about any of the other stuff. I heard my friends talking about orgasms before, but I didn’t know how they got them.”

“And now you do,” Hilary said happily.

Callie swung her legs over the side of the table before getting up. She shook her head in stunned disbelief. “So what does this mean for us? Did we just have sex?”

“Aye and no. Climax is only part of it.”

  “Are we lesbians now?”

“I heard this word recently but am not familiar with it.”

  “It means we like women.”

“Oh, I see. Well, they are a more amiable sex, wouldn’t you agree?”

Callie walked toward the hall. “Why didn’t you tell me you were a lesbian?”

“I didn’t know the word until just now.”

  “I thought you liked men.”

“I do for sex, but I enjoy women too.”

  “So you’re bisexual. I need a shower.”

“I’m sorry for the misunderstanding,” Hilary apologized. She didn’t want to lose her best friend.

“It’s okay. I’m not mad. I just need to be alone right now. Thanks for…the massage. I do feel better…kind of.”

  * * * *

Cameron couldn’t stop thinking about Hilary. He tried to remain professional around her, but sometimes he found himself watching her while she worked and imagining how nice it would be to wrap his arms around her and kiss her. Even on her days off when he was at the store alone, his thoughts were obsessed with her.

The bell dinged and his best friend, Dexter Woods came in with a sack of food. “I brought you some lunch.”

  “Oh, thanks. That sounds good.”

“Where is that little Scottish chick?”

Cameron tried not to smile. “She has the day off.”

Dexter reached into the bag and pulled out the sandwiches with a grin. “Then I guess we’ll just have to eat hers, too. I saw that by the way.”

  “Saw what?”

“The way your face lit up when I asked you about her.”

Cameron’s cheeks felt warm and his guilty smile gave him away. “What? It did not. She’s my employee.”

“Mixing work and pleasure. Bad boy.” Dexter winked at him, taking a bite of his sandwich.

“I’ve been nothing but professional toward her.”

“But you’d like to be another way,” he teased.

Cameron blushed. “We just work together. That’s all.”

The bell dinged and Hilary walked in. He almost dropped his sandwich when he saw her. Her warm smile lit up the room and the way her tan limbs looked in her denim shorts and mint-green tank top was jaw dropping. She wore white flip-flops and her pink-painted toenails looked pretty.

  “Hilary.”

  “Cameron.”

Dexter waved at her. “Hey, Hilary.”

  She nodded pleasantly. “Dexter.”

“What are you doing here on your day off? Not that I mind seeing you.” Cameron figured he probably shouldn’t have added that last part. Dexter would tease him for it.

Hilary approached some of the games. “I need a deck of cards.”

Cameron practically flew out from around the counter to get closer to her. “Wait. Those ones are really normal. You should get something more special. I mean interesting. Like this. See, it has frogs on the back. I like frogs. Do you like frogs?”

Damn it, Dexter looked like he was trying not to choke on his sandwich from stifling laughter.

Hilary smiled. “Aye, I do. Thank you. How much are these ones?”

  “Oh, they’re free.”

“Isn’t this a business? How do you propose to continue if you give away your merchandise to every potential customer?”

Dexter snickered. “Yeah, Cameron, you’ve really got to stop giving away free stuff to every customer.”

Cameron wanted to knock him off his stool for embarrassing him further than he’d already embarrassed himself. “I don’t for everyone, but you work here, so you know, employee discoun
t.”

Her face lit up, making his heart thump. “Thank you.”

He rang her up and watched her leave. The way her rounded ass filled out her shorts ought to be illegal. He wouldn’t be surprised if she caused a few accidents while walking down the street looking like that.

Dexter chuckled and shook his head. “Oh, Hilary, take the special cards for free, but I don’t have any feelings for you.”

Cameron glowered at him, but he had to smile. “Very funny.”

  “Just ask her out already.”

“She works for me. It wouldn’t be appropriate. Besides she needs someone exciting. I wouldn’t be enough for her.”

“Don’t sell yourself short, dude. If you think she’s too much woman for you to handle by yourself, you could always start a trio.”

Cameron wrinkled his nose. “That’s okay. I’d be jealous if I had to share her with another guy.”

Dexter snorted. “Well, who the hell wants that? Aside from a ton of the people in this town, of course. I meant you could always have another woman there to help you.”

“Why the hell would I want two women when I’m not even capable of handling the one I want?”

Dexter shrugged, taking another bite. “That way you wouldn’t get jealous of some guy being better than you.”

“And what happens if the other woman is better than me? Besides, what if Hilary got jealous of the other woman?”

“Hey, I’m not saying I would do it. I’m a one-woman man if I ever see her again, but that’s a long story. I was just trying to help. You said your parents let a third person into their marriage.”

“Yeah, but that wasn’t because my dad wasn’t good enough for my mom. They have a great relationship. They just fell in love with the other guy, too, so now he’s part of their ménage.”

“And think of all the help your dad has now and how satisfied your mom must be because of it.”

  Cameron grimaced. “I’d rather not.”

Dexter laughed. “I was being rhetorical. I don’t blame you, though. I think it means more when it’s kept between one man and one woman. But don’t go saying I said that to any of the triads in town. To each their own.”
