Kirsty went to go inside but stopped with a sudden exclamation. 'Oh, look! The first of the roses has started to come out.' She pointed and Gyles reached up to pluck it for her. 'Why, it's yellow I So we were both wrong She looked up at the rambler that climbed almost to the roof. "Soon it will be a mass of blooms.'
"Just in time to use them in your wedding bouquet.' She turned to him, her eyes radiant with happiness. 'That soon?'
'Definitely that soon.' And Gyles drew her to him as above them the dawn proclaimed its coming with golden flutes into the clear sky and on the distant horizon the sun blazed into the heavens to herald the new day.
