“Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh.” It was the only sound I could make, my heart hammering against my chest to the point I was afraid of having a heart attack. I couldn’t believe the extreme amount of pleasure rushing into my system.
As he continued plunging roughly, he nipped and licked my neck. With every stroke, he brought me closer to a climax. Then he slowed down, merely swishing his thumb around my clit. The bastard was bringing me close to the precipice then pulling back on purpose. I almost lost my mind as he did it several times, pushing me to the point of no return.
“That’s it, baby girl. Come for me. Come on my fingers.” All the while he continued to grind his cock against my skin, making me even crazier.
Even the raw authority in his voice was sexy as hell. I could no longer breathe.
Or think.
Or focus.
As he thrust all four fingers inside, flexing them open and curling the tips, I lost it within seconds, the orgasm rushing up from the deepest, darkest places.
“Oh. Yes. Oh!” My scream floated toward the ceiling, the sound unlike anything that had ever erupted from my throat. I was in absolute bliss as the single climax shifted into a second, one beautiful wave sweeping over me.
“That’s it. Good girl. Such a good girl.”
He refused to stop driving his long fingers into me until I was shaking like a leaf. When he removed them, I felt a tremendous loss, slumping over the couch.
“You’re beautiful when you come. I can’t wait for you to come on my cock.” He wrapped his hand around my throat, squeezing as he pulled me away from the couch. “I can’t wait to come inside your tight little ass.” Very slowly he lowered his fingers, easing off the couch then shifting me around to face him.
I was in a delicious haze, still trying to calm my breathing. When he lifted me into his arms, a moan slipped past my lips and I pressed my folded knees against him. He cupped my bottom, holding me aloft, his eyes mere pinpricks from lust.
After sliding my arms over his shoulders, tangling my fingers in his hair, he issued a sly grin before lifting me a few additional inches, his cockhead finding my pussy easily. A growl erupted from his throat as he brought me down savagely, driving the entire length of his cock inside.
“Oh…my.” My muscles clamped down like a tight vise, sensations rocketing through me. I adored the feel of him inside of me, the way he filled me so completely.
Reaper turned me around, walking closer to the fire. “You’re hungry,” he muttered.
“You have no idea.” After locking my feet together, I used my thigh muscles in order to rock against him, the action driving his cock even deeper inside. I couldn’t keep a smile off my face as I bucked up and down, the sound of skin slapping against skin some of the sweetest music in the world.
“You are such a naughty girl,” he said gruffly, rubbing one hand up and down my spine.
The heat of the roaring fire was nothing like the scorching blast pouring through both of us. Within seconds, beads of sweat formed over his lip, his breath skipping.
“Mmm… Am I?” I asked breathlessly.
“Yes, but you’re not the one in charge.”
“Are you certain about that?”
He allowed me to play for a few seconds longer before showing me just how in control he really was as he eased onto his knees on the rug. All the while, he kept his eyes locked onto mine, his expression nothing short of a primal beast.
I was taken aback by his intensity, the way his nostrils flared. There was something so carnal about the position he held me in, the strength of his hold so powerful.
As I continued to rock hard against him, his sly smile increased until his expression was one of pure sadistic filth. He gave me an entirely new series of shivers, my pulse skipping several beats.
The smile remaining, he shifted onto his ass, still keeping me in the same position. I loved having my legs wrapped around him, able to look into his eyes. There was something so magical yet haunting about them, drawing me to the very edge of his soul, but keeping me remaining just outside.
“Is this what you want?” he asked seconds later.
“Yes, and so much more.”
The answer seemed to please him, a series of scattered breaths slipping past his kissable lips. We held each other for several minutes as I continued to ride him in slow and methodical motions. For the first time, I felt close to him, as if we were as one. Then why did a moment of sadness threaten to take away the sheer joy? I was forced to push aside tears as they threatened to form, giving away my vulnerability.
The glisten on his skin shimmered in the light of the fire, and the way his breath caught was driving me to the point of madness. Then the kind of evil smile I’d seen him issue the first day I’d met him slid across his face once again.
He forced my back onto the floor, hovering over me and yanking my legs over his shoulders. “My bad girl really thinks she can control me. I guess you need to learn that will never be the case.”
As he bent over, pushing my legs to an entirely different angle, his action lifting my bottom off the floor, I was shocked that I nearly burst into an orgasm immediately. As he started to pound into me, I slammed my palms against his chest, taking gasping breaths.
“Mmm… Now, maybe you understand,” he said.
Damn, his voice was so husky it made me swoon. I dug my nails into the skin of his chest as he pulled almost all the way out then thrust into me again.
And again.
The cowboy was bringing me to an entirely different plane, my entire body tingling.
“I… Yes, I…” A short laugh was the only real sound I could make as the pleasure increased. I was lost to the sound of his hard drives and our combined scattered breathing. I tossed my head back and forth and within seconds, the climax shot through me.
“That’s it. Come for me again.”
He didn’t need to command me. I was tossed into the stratosphere, opening my mouth to scream, but there was nothing but a few harsh breaths. One orgasm turned into another, battering me like waves on a beach. By the time they began to slow, I was lost in a world where fantasies come true.
Very slowly he lowered his head, pressing his lips against mine. “You are all mine, Mitch. Mine. I own every inch of you.” He teased my mouth, brushing his lips across my own then nipping my lower lip.
The moment was soft and sensuous, pushing me into such a beautiful state of being. As the crackling sounds of the fire became our music of choice, he captured my mouth, gently sliding his tongue inside. Together we danced against each other, enjoying the heat and wetness. When he started to pull away, he sucked on my tongue, allowing the tender moment to linger.
Reaper lowered my legs as he shifted back, running his fingers along my skin before kissing the inside of one knee then the other. There was such intensity remaining in his eyes.
The man wasn’t finished.
I was completely exhausted from the beautiful round of ecstasy, unable to fight him on any level. When he turned me over, yanking me onto all fours, all I could do was hang my head.
The larger than life man wasn’t having any of it, wrapping his long fingers around my head and tugging. I couldn’t stop gasping as he used his knees to push my legs apart, running the fingers of his other hand up and down the crack of my ass.
“Now, I fuck you in your ass. And maybe later, I’ll start all over again.”
There was nothing I could do but close my eyes, arching my back as he slipped his fingers inside my pussy then almost immediately shifting them to my asshole. While I braced for the hit of pain, biting my lower lip, the moment he pushed two fingers inside, I moaned from the strangeness of such amazing pleasure.
“I love how tight you are. I could fuck you all day long. Hmmm… Maybe I will.” The gruffness of his voice was matched with his increasing need. Foreplay was over. He pushed the tip of his cock to my dark entrance before sliding his hand to my hip.
His grip was firm, his growls animalistic and when he
plunged the entire length of his cock inside, all I could do was smile.
I could swear the sound of his savage roar created vibrations beneath us. He held the stance for a few seconds before fucking me in earnest, the force he used pushing me against the rug. All I could do was hang on for the amazing ride.
Time was suspended, our troubles shoved into a box as he fucked me like a true barbarian, taking all that he wanted.
So dominating.
So possessive.
I was shoved into another round of bliss but when I knew he was close to coming, I squeezed until he released another roar.
“Yes. Yes!” he yelled, still drilling into me, beads of sweat trickling down onto my back.
As he erupted deep inside, I heard the sound of the howling wind, a wayward limb thumping against the little house. Another trickle of fear rushed into me, stifling my breath.
He sensed my discord, tugging my hair away from my face before easing us both onto the rug. When he cradled me against his body, I started to shiver all over again until he slipped his arm over me, his leg shifting over mine.
“You’re going to get hurt,” I said, unsure he’d even heard me. I finally allowed the tears to slip down my cheeks, almost immediately creating a wet spot on the soft carpet. “I can’t allow that to happen.”
“Trust me, Mitch, I can take care of myself. You need to listen to me. No man will ever hurt you again.” As he wiped away several of my tears, I couldn’t stop shaking.
I wanted to believe him. I needed to believe him, but I should find a way to get away from him, allowing him to live. Sadly, I wasn’t certain I had to strength or the resolve.
Because I simply needed him.
The rough cowboy.
The dangerous Marine.
The honorable man.
My hero…
Chapter 15
Reaper
Trust.
I’d tossed out the word as if she’d ever be able to trust anyone again. At least no one knew where we were staying, which would buy us a level of safety. While there was no doubt in my mind that Giordani’s need for vengeance was something he couldn’t deny, it would take him time to try to figure out where to begin looking for her in Missoula. Maybe we’d have another day or two before it was necessary to look over our shoulders. Now the mission was about collecting the data she’d retrieved.
“Did you hear anything from the sheriff?” Scorpion asked.
I shot him a look as I headed up the mountain, thankful the damn storm hadn’t been what the weather people had predicted. “Not yet.”
“She’ll call. She’s damn good at her job.”
I hadn’t wanted to leave Mitch alone, but I knew she’d stay put. While Scorpion had left his other truck at the house, allowing me to drive to the cabin in the mountains, he’d kept his keys. I refused to take any chances with the possibility she’d leave. Her tears from the night before had troubled me more than I wanted to let on. She was more vulnerable than she portrayed, starting to crack under the pressure.
Hell, maybe I wasn’t the best man to comfort or protect her, but I would die trying if necessary.
“That’s a wild story she told you, brother,” Scorpion said with reverence in his voice.
And for some reason, it still made me bristle.
“She’s telling the truth.”
“Let’s just hope we find her truck and this jump drive. That could send the bastard away for a long time.”
My grip on the steering wheel was tight, my legs heavy as I maneuvered up the same road we’d come down. While it was obviously some clearing had occurred, it would have been wise to have waited another day.
A day we likely didn’t have.
My instincts had taken a different turn, maybe after getting closer to her. Dante would stop at nothing until he found her. The real question in my mind was how many connections did he have? Was there anyone in the local sheriff’s office who would provide information? At least my arrival had yet to be noted among anyone in town. I hadn’t even contacted my parents yet. That would wait until the situation was resolved.
“Did you give Caroline the ring yet?” I asked just for conversation if nothing else.
“Not yet. Need to find a special way to ask her. Caroline is everything I’ve ever wanted and for some crazy reason, she loves me.” He laughed after saying the words.
“You act like you don’t deserve love.”
He tapped his hand on the passenger door by the glass, peering out the side window. “You know how I’ve felt about love. Didn’t really think it could exist.”
“But a good woman changed you.”
“It did. That could happen for you.”
“Not a chance. Not one.”
“Uh-huh. What have I told you before?”
I chuckled, my thoughts drifting toward Mitch all over again. The way she’d felt in my arms as we remained by the fire had been incredible. Hell, the night was more romantic than any I could remember. Wine by the fire. Food. Candles. Shit. What was I turning into? “Maybe.”
“Hardhead. I brought you a box of ammo. I thought you might need it. I assume you’ve got the same weapon.” Scorpion’s voice now held an edge.
“Of course.”
“Good. I brought it with me.”
I nodded and another round of quiet settled in. There’d been a time when he and I could talk about anything. Now it seemed harder than I had imagined it would be. Almost twenty minutes passed. At least we were getting closer without finding the roads impassable.
“You should visit him,” Scorpion said out of the blue.
“Who?”
“Snake. His grave. It’s very… healing.”
A cold shiver slammed down my spine. “I’m not ready for that yet.”
“All three of us said the same thing. Did you know that Mustang’s girl managed to find Apollo and was able to cut through the red tape and bring him home? With Scorpion’s help.”
“You’re kidding?”
“Nope. At least he has a forever home. That’s what you need. A real home and not in the freaking mountains.”
“Hey, I like it in the mountains,” I said, still thinking about Snake. “It’s private and peaceful.”
“Yeah, and away from the rest of the world. You can’t hide forever. I know a little ranch that’s for sale. It’s not much, but you might have the down payment for it. Maybe you could start a family.”
“A family? I don’t think so.”
Scorpion chortled. “Well, at least give it a thought.”
“I don’t even know what the hell I’m going to do with the rest of my life.”
“You’ll figure it out. You could always work at Raunchy Ride.” While I could tell he was kidding, the fact I had zero aspirations wasn’t something to brag about.
“By the way, I’m sorry about your grandfather.”
The news wasn’t something I was prepared for. “What? What did you say?”
Scorpion slowly turned his head. “Don’t tell me you didn’t know about your grandfather’s death.”
The news hit me hard, a knife cutting through my heart. I’d avoided the call from my father before I left for Europe, even shutting off my phone for three months. “I…”
“Jesus, brother. I am so sorry to have to be the one to tell you.”
I shifted my gaze away from him, trying to regroup. I’d been much closer to my grandfather than anyone else in my life, including my parents. He’d always seemed larger than life. He’d been a rancher and had even served on the city council when I was a kid. He was a damn good poker player, teaching me when I was just a boy, much to the chagrin of my father, who’d actually blamed him for my level of delinquency.
“I know you were close,” he said after a couple of minutes. “He was a nice man. A little wild around the edges, which is exactly where you got it from.”
I managed to smile, even though my heart was aching. “He was more like my best friend at times, a tough task master at
others. I just wish I could have been here.”
“Well, you are now.”
Much too late. I’d lost track of time as well as my responsibilities as a son and grandson. Some kind of asshole I’d turned out to be. Certainly not good enough for a woman like Mitch. I bit back a laugh. As if I knew her that well. More important, we weren’t in a relationship.
I continued the drive, another thirty minutes of quiet passing, allowing the good memories regarding my grandfather to flow in my mind, as well as extreme sadness. I had to honor him in some way.
At least the drive was significantly shorter. We had to be getting close.
Scorpion leaned forward, constantly scanning both sides of the road. “Did she tell you anything about the location of the truck?”
“She thought she walked about a mile and a half before reaching my cabin. I would say no more than a mile. She wasn’t dressed for traipsing through the snow.” As expected, the recent heavy snowfall had covered up anything that could have confirmed the assholes had even been hunting.
“It’s going to be a damn longshot at best.”
“I know.”
As I neared the last turnoff for the cabin, I slowed down to a crawl, scanning the woods. I knew the usual slick spots, ones that were usually blinding for those who didn’t know the area. One of them was coming up. When I eased the truck to a stop, Scorpion glanced in my direction. I pulled the Glock from under my seat.
“I don’t see a damn thing.”
I gave him a look before getting out of the truck, scanning the one side of the road. This would be the logical place she’d run off the road, maybe a little more than a half mile from my place. She would have taken this turn instead of continuing up the mountain. Plus, if the assholes found her truck, that would lead him to the cabin.
As I shifted closer to the woods, a sliver of sunlight streamed in through the tree canopy. I listened for any sounds that the assholes might have either stuck around or come back hoping to find something. There was nothing but quiet. Too damn quiet. I continued for several feet, keeping the gun firmly planted in both hands. Maybe I was wrong, but I could swear there was a single glint of something metallic. I heard the sound of the door opening and closing, Scorpion following me.
