Bad Romeo
Page 38
To my darling Catty-Wan, Caryn Stevens—you were there from the beginning. You were the very first person to say, “You know what? You have talent,” and ever since then you've been my partner in crime, my loudest cheerleader, and my shoulder to cry on. I love you.
To my wonderful friends, especially my tireless and spectacular bestie, Andrea—that you still bounce with excitement over these characters after all of this time still makes me smile every damn day. You complete me.
To my parents, Bernard and Val, who have always supported everything I do, no matter how harebrained—I love you stupid amounts. And to my brothers, Chris and John, who put up with a little sister with an overactive imagination—guess all that playacting as a kid finally paid off, huh?
To my wonderful husband (the best person I'll ever know)—thank you for pushing me to do something with my writing. You're so amazing, it's actually kind of annoying. And to my sons, who endured Mummy spending countless hours locked away exploring the worlds inside her head—darling Dr. X and Special K—no matter how proud I am of these books (and let's be honest, I'm bloody proud), you guys are, without a doubt, my most spectacular creations. Forever and always.
And last, but absolutely not least, to all the readers who loved this story from the start and encouraged me to get it published—you gave me so much inspiration, support, and love that I'll always be eternally grateful. This book is for you.
Thank you all.
