Paul grew up in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and as a young boy spent many summers in the woods or on the lakes, creeks and rivers hunting, fishing and camping. Those experiences led to a deep respect for the outdoors, traditional ways and the natural environment. You will see this respect reflected in his writing.
He attended Northeastern State University where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Management and a Masters of Business Administration. He spent several years developing curriculum and teaching business management principles to Native American non-profit groups as well as volunteering countless hours of community services.
