The Golden Boy Returns (The New Pioneers Book 5) Page 22

Vijay looked at Kasi beam as David came on stage. "True," he said with a sigh. "And I'll know where to find him."

  AUTHOR’S NOTE

While this isn’t the book that took me the longest to write—that honor undoubtedly belongs to The Family You Choose and The China Doll—this is definitely the one that took me the longest to produce. As anyone who knows me personally can attest to, politics is something that I care passionately about, and I spent quite a bit of time trying to make sure that my story was as factually accurate as it could be without boring people to tears.

While my story tries to reflect the unspoken rules politicians play by, it cannot be emphasized enough that the characters in my story are fiction, and completely the product of my imagination. (Trust me, you wouldn’t believe the real stories.)

  ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

Tina Stanton came in and pinch hit for me when I was in desperate need of help. She gave me exactly the advice I needed, and I can’t wait to work with her on my next project. Once again, Erin Cawood came through for me, not only with marketing advice, but this time also with a gorgeous cover. And where would I be without Caroline Fardig’s sound yet hilarious feedback? Nowhere good.

Ginnette Powell and I met on a campaign trail, and ever since she’s been an invaluable sounding board and ally in every aspect of my life. Thanks for everything, buddy!
