  “Thank you. That was amazing.”

“You’re welcome. I thought it was pretty good myself.” He reached to her, drawing her head down to meet his lips as she shifted back over his belly. Their kiss was a blend of need and desire as her pussy rubbed against the load he’d released.

“Want to do it again?” she teased.

“I’d say yes, but I know you’re not teasing.” That didn’t stop him from grabbing her waist and rolling her under him. “How and where?”

“Any way and anyhow that will get us both off.” She had an amazing smile, expressive when she wanted it to be and stern when she was annoyed. This smile told him she was up for anything. And as the realization dawned, his cock began to fill. He quickly turned her onto her belly and straddled her thighs. He was going to fuck her, but first he wanted to taste her again. Shifting backward, he held her legs together and licked at her pussy juices mixed with his cum. When he licked higher, she moaned and shifted her hips to give him better access to her whole body.

He continued to lick her, using his tongue as a mini cock to thrust in her anus. When she was wet from his saliva, he ran his finger along the same path.

“Do it, Mason. Penetrate me. Stretch me so you can fuck me with your cock.”

  “Are you sure?”

“Oh yes, I’m sure.” She’d glanced over her shoulder and stared at him. “Yes, I’m sure I want to feel your cock fill me in all ways. Fuck my ass, Mason.” She turned away and stretched to the side table, grabbing another condom. When she was back in place, she tore open the package and handed the condom back to him. “Do it. Don’t give me any sweet talk. Just fuck my ass until we both come.”

“Whatever the lady asks for,” he said, smiling as he covered his length with the lubricated condom. “Ready?”

“I’ve been ready. Now I’m just waiting for you to fuck my ass.”

“The lady always knows what she wants.” He pushed forward, and the tip of his cock made contact with her anus. He leaned forward a bit more and watched the head of his cock disappear into her body. She moaned, “Yes,” and he pushed further. When he was seated completely in her, he had to still to find his restraint. “Christ, you’re so tight,” he told her and grasped her hips. He thought to ask if she was sure one last time, but she was pushing back against him. Mason fucked her full-out, taking her body to use for his pleasure. He didn’t know how long the act lasted, only that each time he’d pull back, when he pushed forward her body would grasp him. It was like being in a stranglehold that he never wanted to end. “Rub your pussy for me,” he told her and paused while she managed to push her hand between the bed and her body. “I’m not sure if that’s better or worse,” Mason said, realizing he could feel her rubbing her clit. The tips of her fingers grazed against his sack with each small circle she made.

“How’s that feel?” she asked, not turning around. He didn’t have time to answer when he felt her pushing two of her own fingers into her pussy. If he thought she was tight before, now she was a pulsing against him. “You just surged inside me.”

“That’s because you’re making me come.”

“Wasn’t that the point?” He felt her hand move and realized she pushed another finger in her pussy. He came when she did, her body clutching him, holding him deep inside her until she relaxed under him. He dropped his chest over her back and held her tight.

“Is that what you had in mind?”

“Basically. Maybe next time I’ll put a dildo in my pussy while you fuck my ass so my hands are free.”

He laughed and rolled to the side. Alice dropped her arm over his chest and held him tight to her. He managed to pull a pillow under his head and wrap his arms around her. It was too much to think about moving just yet. As he was falling asleep, he realized he hadn’t disposed of the used condom. Mason didn’t care.

She stayed with him the rest of that night and most weekends after that. During the week, they both went home to their respective apartments. But on the weekends they were inseparable. She was the best time of his life. At work, they kept their distance. There were no longing looks or intimate touches. They stayed professional Monday through Friday until six o’clock. But once they were away from the office, they became an all-out fucking unit.

Mason knew deep inside they couldn’t keep up this level of sexuality much longer. Sooner or later, everyday life would interfere, and they’d have to separate. But for now, he just wanted to enjoy her to the fullest. She was of the same mind to enjoy it while it lasted, because she often told him nothing good lasts forever.

He’d known it was over when she came back from a long lunch one Friday. While she was quiet and apparently concentrating on her work, he knew something had changed. That night, after work, she told him of the job offer she’d received.

Alice had been right. Nothing good lasted forever, but they’d had a hell of a run for the time they had together.

Alice had been cryptic about the weekend invitation. She simply told Mason that she had someone she wanted him to meet. It was important. She knew he was expecting her to dump him. Instead, he arrived and found another man there. Jeff Dallen.

Having the two men standing side by side, she had one persistent thought. Could she sleep with them both? Maybe later in the relationship, but not right away. For now, she understood it was more important for them to decide if they wanted to work with Jeff. If they did, she’d have to back off from both men. It wasn’t her best answer to the problem, but it was a temporary solution.

“Mason Shelton, this is Jeffrey Dallen.”

Jeff raised his hand to shake Mason’s. “Just call me Jeff.”

  “Good to meet you.”

“I know Mason is confused about this meeting, Jeff. As you asked, I didn’t give him any clues to the reason. Maybe you guys should have a seat on the balcony while I get us some wine. Then you can explain your idea to Mason.”

Alice went to the small galley kitchen and poured wine into three glasses. She joined them on the tiny balcony, leaning her hip on the arm of Jeff’s chair. “To our possible futures,” she said. Both men clinked their glasses against hers. They all sipped and were very quiet.

“Look, before we go any further, I’d like to be blunt. Mason, a few years ago when I was finishing graduate school, Jeff and I had an affair. He was never one of my professors. It ended when I graduated and had to move to find work.” She sipped from her glass. “Jeff, I already told you I was sleeping with Mason when we met last week.”

“I’m not sure what this has to do with anything?” Mason said, obviously confused.

Alice smiled then laughed. “I brought you both here because I want to have you both at the same time. Are you guys up for a threesome?”

Jeff laughed at her, and Mason seemed startled. Finally, she laughed harder. “Okay, I was just kidding, but it is an interesting idea.” She watched both men’s faces and read confusion and a bit of enthusiasm at the same time. They might give her what she wanted one day, but she’d have to be careful how she approached them and when. If they decided to work together, it wouldn’t be prudent, at least for a while.

“Mason, now that Alice has had her fun, let me be blunt.” Jeff turned in his seat to look at Mason. Alice noted the weary look on his face.

“I’ve been working on a new computer program. I sold one that made me boatloads of cash. I’ve resigned my position at the university. I don’t have time to teach and work on my programs at night.”

“Congratulations,” Mason said, tipping his glass toward Jeff.

“The thing is, I want to set up my own lab. I want Alice to come to work with me. She’s got the most focused mind I’ve ever come across. She assures me you’re just as quick. I’m wondering if you’d be interested in leaving your job and coming to work with me, with us.”

“I’m not sure. What are you working on, and what part do you see me taking?”

“This new company will work directly on Internet security for major corporations. I
t will flush out internal and external issues that need to be handled. My goal is to make the companies we work for completely hackerless. I need Alice to run the lab. She’s detail oriented, can multitask, and understands my moods. I have a tendency to get sidetracked while working, and she tends to rein me back in. I’m told you are as smart as she is and better in the mechanical end of things.”

“What he’s offering you is a full-time job in a private lab. I’ll work as the office manager of sorts, keeping the projects on time. You, my dear Mason, would be fine-tuning the programs Jeff designs.”

“What she’s forgotten to mention is that you’ll be free to work on developing your own ideas when we’re not working on something specific. I’m not trying to take away your creativity, more to harness it when I’m stuck.”

The rest of the evening went on with discussions of how they might work together. Alice wasn’t surprised that Jeff had his business plan all worked out and was ready for discussions. She was also impressed that he wasn’t dismissive of Mason’s ideas and comments. By midnight, she realized she’d be working with two very intelligent men.

“I have only one question, and I need an honest answer,” Jeff said, directing his question to Mason. “Can you work every day with Alice knowing I’ve slept with her, too?”

“I suppose I’ll have to get used to it. Honestly, I figured this invitation tonight was to end our affair.”

“I’m not thrilled about ending our times together, but Jeff seems to think it would be distracting. Unless, of course, I get to sleep with both of you!” Mason choked on his sip of wine, and Jeff just shook his head.

“I’m interested in the job. It sounds like I’d have a lot of freedom to work on my own projects without the powers in charge looking over my shoulder. But who owns the patents in the end? Am I just an employee or more?”

“I’d like us to be business partners, equal in all ways. Right now I can afford to lay out the start-up costs for the new computer lab. I figured after we started making real money, you and Alice could pay back a portion of those initial costs to make us equal partners.”

“I’d like some time to think about all this.” Mason glanced to Alice. “Can we work together and not be sexual?”

“I think so, but in all honesty I think my way would be best. We should just be free to sleep with each other when we’re in the mood. Any and all of us.”

“I’m not sure I want to share you, Alice.” Mason’s tone was adamant.

“Then this needs to end. I want this chance to do my own research. We can be friends and business partners, but we’ll have to stop our extracurricular activities.” Alice gave him a sad smile. “And before you ask, I haven’t slept with Jeff in ages. So I guess if this works out, I’m going to have to find a new boyfriend.”

“Or boy toy,” Jeff added, laughing at his own statement.

“That would work better,” Alice admitted. “No emotions to get in the way, just fucking when I’m in the mood.”

“So you want a boy toy on call to service you when you’re in the mood?” Jeff was teasing her. “Mason, what about you? Want to have a woman on retainer for those times when you need stress relief?”

“I’ll get back to you on that,” he told them. “For now, I’ve got a hundred new questions but I’m mind-boggled right now. Any chance we could meet for supper one night during the week?”

“Absolutely,” Jeff told him. “Think this through, make a list of your questions and ideas, and we’ll go over everything, say Wednesday night, if that’s enough time for you?”

“Sounds like a plan. Let Alice know when and where, and I’ll meet you. For now, I’m going to head home and do some soul searching.”

“I’ll walk you out,” Jeff said, standing beside Mason. He looked at Alice and then at Mason. She knew he could almost read the ideas roaming through her mind. “What, Alice?”

“I was just wondering if we couldn’t try my idea of the three of us together, tonight, before any of this became real.”

“I’m sorry, sweetheart, but it’s already real to me.” Jeff kissed her cheek and headed to the door.

“I’ll walk out with you,” Mason said, dropping a kiss on her other cheek. “I’m sorry, babe, but it’s real to me already, too. If we have one more night, we’ll find excuses for just one more night whenever one of us is horny.”

“Go. Get out of here, both of you. Just remember when you guys get horny, you’re the ones who set the no-sex rule.”

  Chapter Two

  Six years later

Jeff Dallen stood at the entrance to Hudson House, his new home and work space. It still confused and thrilled him that the old place had actually come to him. While he remembered summer parties when he was a child, he grew up on the West Coast. As he aged, the trips back east lessened until they only went for what his father, Marcus, called the have-tos. Weddings and funerals were have-tos. Invitations beyond those familial duties were ignored.

He’d been back five years ago when his Uncle Vincent passed away. It annoyed him that his snotty cousin Theo would inherit the old place. He only saw it as a token of prestige, not the architectural marvel it truly was. The stone façade had weathered with time. It had a central section with the curving staircase. There was a wing on each side with the rest of the living spaces. Off the back of the west wing, there was an old glass-enclosed swimming pool. The east side had a turret with Tiffany leaded glass. Centering the main entry was a crystal chandelier made especially for the home by Tiffany.

Now it was his in all its glory and disrepair. In the last six months, he’d come to learn Theo had overdosed on a lethal combination of prescription drugs and alcohol. He held back a smug smile remembering how Theo taunted him at his father’s wake that he’d never get the house and he’d see to it. While Jeff had turned on his heel and walked from the drunken scene Theo was attempting to provoke, he bit back the bile rising in his throat. Cousin Theo passed away five years after his father, Vincent. He’d never been married and never had any heirs to inherit. He also never made a will. Because of that omission, the entire estate reverted back to Jeff as the only living heir.

Jeff had known all his life that his father, as the second child, had no right to claim the family home. When he was of age, he moved west, leaving behind this childhood home and the concept of ever enjoying it fully on a permanent basis. Jeff knew that deep inside his father always wanted to stay at Hudson House, but being reminded daily by everyone around him during his formative years that he’d never be welcome on a permanent basis once he became an adult always stayed with him. He would sit beside him on the porch outside their California home and tell Jeff stories of growing up there. Most were filled with fun and mischief, others about the architecture and history of the old place. He remembered how he would expel a deep breath and tell him about the view. Marcus believed looking down over the Hudson River was the most breathtaking sight in the world. And he knew he’d never own it. He’d come to love the beaches of the Pacific, but a part of Hudson House was always with him. It was a piece of history Marcus couldn’t change.

It would make Jeff mad that they constantly reminded his father of his second-place arrival, rendering him as only a spare heir to the family home and business. Marcus would tousle his hair and tell him not to worry about it. He’d found his permanent paradise on the beach with him and his mother, Edie. That was all he needed to keep happy. Jeff never forgot the longing in his dad’s voice when he talked about the old home. But he reinforced to him that he shouldn’t dream of things he’d never be entitled to enjoy, namely the Hudson River home.

Yet here he was, standing before the stately home with the proverbial keys to the castle in his hand. It had been a very surreal span of time from being informed that Theo had passed on. He made the ritual trip to the funeral, bringing his fiancée, Naomi Hunter with him and his best friends, Mason and Alice.

While it was supposed to be a solemn situation, he felt no remorse for the cousin who dra
nk himself to death. He also didn’t bother to ask who got the house next, as Theo had warned him for years he’d make sure he’d never get it. Now he was here, the true and rightful owner of what he decreed was the most amazing house in the world with a fantastic view. He especially loved remembering glimpses of the changing of the seasons. This would be the first full fall he would spend there, and the first winter, spring, and summer to come.

He let a smile form on his lips as the warmth in his belly spread through him as if he’d finally found his true home. This was the place he searched for in other locations but always fell short of finding. This was the first time in his adult life that he felt grounded. With Naomi by his side and a budding business, he finally felt like an adult. His dream was to marry Naomi here in the ballroom before a roaring fire. He knew it would be months before that actually happened, but the concept was within reach.

First, they had to get the business back up and running. He felt blessed to be able to live and work on the same property. No more long commutes or being stuck in traffic. That time alone was worth its weight in gold. With Alice and Mason beside him, he knew their business would prosper. The moving vans with all their equipment were due within the next two days. For today, they could all unpack their personal items that had been shipped ahead and relax. He glanced over his shoulder and saw them admiring the view. They both got it, that special feeling of wonder this land offered.

Jeff had wanted Naomi to make this final trip with him, but she had business commitments to finish before moving east permanently. She’d been adamant about finishing her last jobs before the move. He’d wanted to start making their wedding plans the moment he found out about his inheritance. Naomi wanted to finish one chapter in her life before starting a new one. She rationalized that the planning would go smoother if that was all she had to concentrate on. And since he would be in the lab most of the time, they both understood most of the planning would be her responsibility. While he would have been happy with a few friends before the fireplace, Naomi wanted all the trimmings. He’d looked through so many wedding magazines and listened to her critique so many dresses he’d become mind-boggled. Ultimately, he understood the whole thing meant a lot more to Naomi than it did to him, so he told her to finish her commitments and then plan the wedding of her dreams.
