Shaking her head no, he mumbled again and gave the waitress his order.
“So what are you doing now,” he probed, thinking how delicious she looked in the chocolate v-cut sweater.
He could see the perfectly formed mounds of her breasts through the V, turning him on.
“I actually got a job with the local precinct as a dispatch operator,” she told him as his food arrived and he began to eat.
“Well good, at least you didn’t leave law enforcement all together,” he joked as Lonette smiled slightly.
They continued to make small talk as he finished his meal, and now that he was finished, Lonette was preparing her speech to leave his presence. Something about him was dangerous and it was smoldering just under the surface of the smile he was giving her now.
“It was nice seeing you Pete,” she told him gathering her purse and rising.
“Can I give you a ride someplace,” he asked, standing now as well.
“No, I’m fine, but thanks,” she replied, turning to walk away.
He reached out and grabbed her arm, not forcefully, but enough to stop her forward momentum.
“I’d really feel better if you let me give you a ride Lonette,” he pleaded softly.
Swallowing hard and against her better judgment, she accepted as Pete once again smiled and showed her to his car. Getting in she put on her seatbelt and asked him to drop her at the precinct, this was only about a mile and a half away.
As they rode, Lonette noticed Pete was taking a different route and questioned him.
“It’s more scenic this way,” he said simply as she frowned slightly but didn’t comment.
The more they drove the tighter the knot in her stomach got.
“Pete, where are we going,” she finally asked seeing the city get farther and farther in her side view mirror.
“Shh, relax Lonette,” he told her sweetly glancing over at her. “We just need to talk, to spend some time with each other,” Pete continued.
Lonette was terrified. What was he thinking? What was he planning to do her? Checking the door, thinking she could possibly jump out when they stopped, she was horrified to find there was no inner handle. The door had to be opened from outside.
“Please Pete, just let me out here, I won’t say anything,” she began to plead.
“I’m not going to hurt you Lonette, just relax,” he told her, turning onto a snow covered road that disappeared from the highway.
Driving almost three miles in, she saw the outline of a house. Flipping down his visor, Pete pressed a button and the garage door lifted. Once inside the garage he turned to Lonette and spoke again.
“Welcome home baby,” he told her sweetly. “Now, let’s go inside and get acquainted,” he added getting out of the car and coming to her side opening her door.
Lonette got out and meekly followed his lead going inside the house praying she would live long enough to find a way out.

Cartier was furious after listening to Horse. Now he understood the why of Big Pete’s dislike. That muthafucka better stay away from Lonette, he fumed angrily. Cartier made a mental note to warn her about the man’s obsession when she came to see him tomorrow. He hated being handicapped behind bars unable to protect the woman in his life. He’d quickly sent word outside to Ernie about keeping an eye on Lonette until they could get her moved and safely out of harm’s way. The current situation only fueled Cartier’s fire to get out of this place. Trying to calm himself he turned his thoughts to his sons. Ryan came to visit him once a month as he mandated, keeping him up to date on what was going on in their lives. He was pleased with the progress they were making, leaving their mark on the crime underworld. Ian was about to branch out on his own and move to Atlanta. Seemed he like the cities atmosphere far better than their current location. Ryan was staying where he was to keep that operation afloat and of course to be backup if Ian’s own plans fell through.
He sighed deeply realizing his youngest son was already 19 years old. He’s a man now, he continued to think. Grudgingly Ryan told him about Jalen and of course Raven. Cartier was saddened by the obvious dislike his eldest still held against his sibling and the woman who gave him life, but he never chastised him for it. It was Ryan’s choice to accept them or not. Cartier’s heart was still hurt when he thought of Lauren. She was 19 now as well and he still had absolutely no idea where she was. If she’s even still alive, his mind tried as he immediately dismissed the thought. If Carlo had taught her nothing else, he’d taught her to survive. She was out there somewhere that much Cartier was sure of. Carlo was falling apart in this place. He was doing crazy things constantly getting himself put in solitary. At the rate he’s going we won’t be able to get anyone to touch us when it comes to getting out of here, Cartier brooded, deciding to try and talk some sense into his friend. He had an entire agenda once the monies were raised and everyone’s palms greased. When he saw freedom again Cartier was going to set a lot of things straight and a lot of wrongs, right. The inmates began stirring and he knew it was time to head into the exercise yard. Dismissing everything else from his mind Cartier followed suite, needing very much to enjoy cold crispness of the frozen air outside.

“Pete, please, just let me go,” Lonette again pleaded as she watched him warily.
He’d tied her to a chair while he went about various tasks in the house.
“Lonette, please relax baby, I’m not going to hurt you, how many times do I have to tell you that,” Pete answered sweetly, kissing her.
“Then why am I here, and why do you have me tied up,” Lonette fired back.
She was terrified. She’d always suspected there was something off about him, now she was sure. She looked around the house seeing pictures of her everywhere, in every place she’d been, even some of her coming out of the prison shower when she changed there. This man is a psycho, she thought, the feeling of these being her last few hours on earth screaming in her ear.
“You’re here because you were about to make a huge mistake,” he told her once again, sitting directly in front of her.
“I couldn’t let that happen, couldn’t let you ruin your life for an inmate like Cartier Lemmings,” Peter said simply as Lonette’s eyes grew big and she remained silent.
He chuckled slightly at her reaction before reaching out and stroking her face. “Yes, I know about him,” he told her, sighing deeply. “But I’m not upset Lonette, I forgive you for that moment of weakness,” Pete told her as he continued to look at her.
She was absolutely beautiful and now, finally, she was all his.
“What do you want from me,” she asked, whispering.
“Your love,” he told her simply, kissing her passionately as she fought the urge to retch.
Taking a deep breath and deciding to use her head, Lonette began to talk to him.
“Pete, you never, I mean,” she began, trying to sound flustered.
“I was waiting for the right time,” he told her in answer to her statement.
“How was I supposed to know that though,” Lonette fired back.
He smiled and told her he understood.
“I told you baby, it’s fine. I forgive you for that,” he began again as she nodded slightly.
“So are you going to keep me tied up,” she asked needing to be freed from this chair.
Lonette was going to play whatever sick game he wanted for now, but she was getting the hell out of this madness the first chance she got.
“Are you going to try and run away,” he asked, still looking at her closely.
“Run where Pete, I don’t even know where I am,” she replied without directly answering his question.
He seemed to think that over for a while before grumbling and getting up. Stepping behind her, he untied her hands and feet as she thanked him and stood up, stretching her muscles.
“See baby, I told you I wouldn’t hurt you,” Pete tried, praying she would accept him and love him the way he
loved her.
Lonette smiled and hugged him, throwing him off balance she knew. Pete immediately accepted the gesture asking if she wanted some tea. Lonette again smiled and told him she would as he went back into the kitchen and put the water on. Lonette wandered over to the couch and sat down, her eyes taking in every inch of the house as she sat. Even though she had no clue where she was, Pete had a car and she’d seen him put the keys up. She was going to bide her time and first chance she got, Lonette was plotting to be free.
“Here you are baby,” Pete told her, handing her the steaming cup.
“Thank you,” she replied sipping it gingerly.
“I have to go to work tonight,” Pete told her a few minutes later as he rubbed her legs.
Lonette mumbled slightly as he took the cup out of her hands. She was barely conscious now. Smiling, seeing that the sedative he slipped into her drink was working, Pete took her to his bedroom laying her on the bed and undressing her.
He wasn’t about to leave her alone without some sort of guarantee she would still be here when he returned. She still loves that damned convict, he thought angrily, looking at her nude body.
“How could you let him touch you like that,” he murmured his own manhood rock hard.
He began kissing her as Lonette offered little resistance.
“I love you so much, so much,” Pete murmured.
“I love you too,” she managed in her drug induced state, thinking she was with Cartier.
He smiled hearing her declaration, kissing her again as Lonette kissed him back.
“Mmm,” she moaned softly as Pete sucked her breast, teasing the nipple.
It dawned on him then that Lonette wasn’t making love to him. She thought he was Cartier. I don’t give a damn, I’m going to be the man inside her, not him, never again him, Pete scorned as he spread her legs and plunged inside her. Lonette cried out, becoming conscious enough to know the man inside her was not Cartier.
“No, stop, please, no,” she slurred, trying vainly to push Pete off her.
“Shh, stop baby, I love you, this is right,” he told her as she continued to try and fight.
“Stop it Lonette, dammit,” Pete growled becoming angry with her rejection.
“Get off me,” Lonette screamed using every ounce of strength she had left and pushing him.
Pete lost his balance and hit the floor, furious.
Getting up he stood over her as Lonette tried to rise from the bed.
“Be still you nasty bitch,” he growled holding her down and finishing what he started, still furious after he came, he began beating her slapping her face again and again.
“Please,” Lonette whimpered pitifully.
Pete was hard again and once more took what she didn’t want to give.
“I hate you,” Lonette cried, the adrenaline dimming the effects of the sedative as she began to fight him again.
Hearing her say she hated him, pushed Pete over the edge and he snapped.
“If I can’t have you, that fuckin’ convict damned sure won’t,” he raged, both hands around her neck as he strangled her.
Lonette fought finally landing a lucky kick to his genitals. Pete was writhing in pain as she jumped from the bed, her head still swimming and tried to run for the garage door. Somehow Pete managed to regain his footing catching her just as she put her hand on the knob.
“No, you’re not ever leaving me,” he screamed flinging her wildly into the kitchen when she lost her balance and hit her temple on the corner of the bar, crumpling in a heap onto the kitchen floor.
The blood immediately began to pool beneath her head as her now lifeless eyes stared up at Pete accusingly.
“No, Lonette, No, please baby, please, I’m sorry,” he began to blubber, picking her up and rocking her in his arms.
Two hours later he was drenched in sweat after fighting the frozen ground and burying her deep beneath his favorite tree. Heading for the shower he dressed and prepared to leave for work. Tonight he was going to take care of Cartier Lemmings, the real reason the woman he loved was buried in his backyard.

Kaitlyn couldn’t believe how quickly time had flown by. She was quickly approaching her 20th birthday and her life was good. She and Devontae were still together and while she wasn’t in love with him, she was comfortable with him. Jaleesa had broken up with Poncho, but he hadn’t gone quietly. He stalked her on a daily basis making her life hell until he was finally picked up on a gun charge, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The judge gave him seven years, taking into account his extensive juvenile and adult record. He was locked away brooding and serving his time at Baldwin state prison. Jaleesa had moved on to a new guy. He was much older than her and Kaitlyn immediately disliked him. His name was LaRon, but everyone called him Deuce. She again suspected he was abusive just like Poncho, but Jaleesa never talked about that part of their relationship and again Kaitlyn didn’t push. She didn’t call herself Lauren anymore, ever. That part of her life was finally put to rest the night she and Devontae slept together for the first time and she truly let Blue go.
Locking the thoughts up that wanted to come, Kaitlyn rose, leaving Devontae asleep in her bed. He’d taken to staying with her more often, not officially moved in, but enough to keep any other man away from her. Showering she thought about the run they were making today. He’d only told her bits and pieces saying they were taking some guns and dope to a club in Alabama. She shrugged it off continuing her shower as she heard Devontae come into the bathroom.
“Hey,” she squealed as he flushed and water cooled down.
He chuckled and stepped into the shower with her.
“What’s the matter, too cold for you,” he teased, kissing her.
Kaitlyn gave him a look and pushed him under the spray turning the water to cold.
“Shit,” Devontae yelled as she laughed and jumped out, him chasing her.
Catching her, Devontae threw her onto the bed, still wet and lay atop her.
“You thought that was funny huh,” he teased, holding her arms above her head.
“You had it coming,” Kaitlyn returned as he began kissing her and she felt him growing hard.
She knew Devontae really cared for her but Kaitlyn wasn’t ready to love anyone just yet, so she continually kept him at arm’s length, disconnecting from the act emotionally and just enjoying it physically.
“Mmm KiKi, so sexy,” he murmured his mouth finding her nipple as Kaitlyn moaned softly.
Devontae continued his journey arriving at her vulnerability and licking her sensuously.
“Damn,” she swore softly, enjoying the feel of his tongue on her.
He brought her dangerously close to orgasm before stopping, blowing gently on her clit, driving her wild.
“Stop playing’ Devontae,” Kaitlyn told him urgently.
He began kissing his way back up her body, tonguing her deeply as he slipped inside her and began riding her. Kaitlyn came hard, her body’s soft gushing as they continued to make love, evidence of her pleasure. Her hands slid down his toned body, gripping both cheeks and pulling him deeper inside her.
“Just like that, yes,” Kaitlyn moaned as Devontae thrust deeply into her getting closer and closer as she became more and more saturated.
“Aaaah,” she cried out coming hard once more.
“Shit,” Devontae murmured again. “Damn baby,” he whispered in her ear breathing harder and harder.
She felt him begin to pulsate inside her.
“KiKi, girl,” he mumbled as his finish sprang forth filling her with the molten heat of his satisfaction.
They continued to kiss passionately coming down from the high, before he looked into her eyes and declared how much he cared for her. As she always did, Kaitlyn smiled and kissed him without a reply. Devontae rose and headed back to the shower as she made the bed. Walking to her dresser she opened the top drawer and removed the packet, taking one of her pills out and swallowing. Kaitlyn made sure she
took the birth control religiously, as having anyone’s baby was definitely not on her to do list.

Carlo was sitting in the darkness talking to himself. He’d drawn another thirty days in solitary for assaulting another prisoner.
“When are we getting out of here,” he asked himself.
Carlo couldn’t take much more the dark dankness of solitary, yet he constantly found himself here. They’re out to get you, you know that don’t you, his mind began. They keep you in the darkness because it’s easier to kill you, the demon in his mind continued to torment. Carlo began to recite various incantations in French, calming himself. He heard footsteps and finally the sliver of light as he shielded his eyes.
“Get up Cisneros,” the gruff voice ordered.
Making his way to his feet Carlo blinked rapidly as his eyes adjusted to the harsh sunlight that was coming through the window directly outside the cell.
“Come on, your sentence has been shortened,” he told him leading Carlo to the shower and leaving him with another guard.
Carlo turned on the water and began washing the filth from his body, wondering who and what had gotten him out of confinement some ten days early.
Returning to his cell he entered and sat on his bunk. Several guards and another man he’d never seen came through, stopping at various cells. His was one of them.
“Is this the infamous Hangman Cisneros,” the man in the suit asked giving Carlo a dismissive look.
Immediately angry, he returned the man’s stare as the guards answered his question.
“Well Mr. Cisneros, I’m warden Jack Duggard, and in this prison you are simply another inmate who will obey my rules, do you understand,” he threw out arrogantly as Carlo simply regarded him silently.
“He doesn’t really talk warden,” one of the guards tried, seeing the look on Carlo’s face as he regarded the new Warden.
“Hmph,” Duggard replied and continued on his journey.
Carlo looked around seeing Horse sweeping the cellblock and caught his eye. He casually swept his way over to Carlo’s cell and listened intently to the whispered instructions he was given, nodding and going back to his regular routine as Carlo sat calmly once again and continued thinking about his daughter. Lauren would be almost twenty now. Even more beautiful than she was when we were together, the demon began once again. Don’t you miss her, miss her scent, her taste as we licked her tight little pussy, it continued to ramble. Shut up, I didn’t do that to her, I would never hurt Lauren, never, Carlo’s sanity tried to speak up.
