“Maybe we need to get our tongues pierced, Reese? Would you like that, Zoey? My tongue licking, teasing. The stud running over your nub.” My breaths were coming in pants and I groaned at the feel of her when I slammed into her, pushing her down on Reese’s cock.
“Shut up and make me come!!” Zoey yelled.
Yeah, we’d built her up and ourselves too. The thrusts sped up, in out, in out. Faster, deeper and when her body began to shake, her orgasm grabbing hold of her, us buried into her depths, sucked my release from me as I filled her. Reese’s shout proving she did the same to him.
I eased out of her and dropped to the side, bringing her down between us and off Reese. Neither of us spoke as we tried to calm our breathing.
Once recovered, I told them about Tony’s calls to the 42nd Precinct to see if he could run down the officers who were at the scene to locate Zoey’s bag.
Reese and I talked while Zoey laid between us, eyes closed.
“Tired?” I asked her.
“No.” She smiled, never opening her eyes.
“That smile shows a satisfied woman,” Reese said.
“Nope, the smile shows a happy woman.” Her smile grew bigger.
“Well, I’m glad ‘cause you may need the happy when we go to dinner at my parents.” I laughed when she and Reese both groaned and pulled her with me when I got up from the bed. “Let’s hit the shower and clean up. You need to learn how to deal with the crazy, it isn’t going away. Trust me, it only gets worse.” I kissed her forehead and walked us in the bathroom.
Chapter Seventeen
Zoey
What the heck? Michael was right, it does get worse, probably because the numbers are high. These people should only be allowed in a dose of two or three at a time. The O’Malley house was huge, who knew they even made a table that could fit twenty people comfortably. And I knew my chin dropped when I voiced that, evidently out loud.
“Oh, my girl, I made that table in my shop with Anthony’s help. I even have a couple more extensions that can go in if and when needed. I planned after Olivia gave me seven children. I wanted everyone to be able to sit at the same table and eat together so I made it big enough to hold my family to include my children’s spouses as they joined us. Now, with grandchildren on the way, I’m working on a smaller version so the kids will have their own place to sit.” Reilly O’Malley was in his element I realized just in that moment the man reveled in and thrived on the chaos around him.
“How many times am I going to have to tell you she isn’t your girl, Zoey is ours,” Michael walked up and said.
“Whatever. Do you feel threatened by your old dad, son? If that look of a well-loved woman Zoey is wearing, I’d say you and Reese finally pulled your head out of your asses and got down to business.” I felt the heat of my blush rise at Reilly’s words.
Brooklyn passed by and grabbed my arm, pulling me with her. “You’ll get used to it, I promise. Just remember, there is nothing sacred in this family, not even our sex lives.”
What do you say to stuff like that? I was having an internal fight of run now while I still had a chance when a flaming redheaded beautiful woman walked up and engulfed me in her arms. “It’s nice to finally meet the incubator that is carrying Reilly O’Malley’s grandchild. My dad has turned into a greedy bastard thanks to you. He now feels we are slacking in our duties to birth him his very own baseball team with extra hitters. I won’t doubt if he doesn’t have a chart in his working shed in the shape of a diamond. As soon as you guys name the kid, he will start making his lineup and add names as each grandkid is born. Oh, I’m Mia O’Malley by the way.”
I said the only thing I could think of to her, “I’m so sorry.” Mia started laughing.
“Please, this is the greatest thing that has happened, focus has moved in this family. Between Brook here, snagging Tony and Fin, and you, Reese, and Michael’s little put the cart before the horse. I could pretty much murder someone and get a high five for it. So don’t be sorry, accept your crown of grandkid producer and go with it. Life will be easier on you if you embrace the craziness you have unleashed, you can go in on your own, or they will suck you in. There is no choice, the choice was taken from you as soon as the peanut took root.”
“Mia, they aren’t that bad,” Brook said and hugged me to her side and Mia laughed at her.
“Oh, Brook, you are under the misguided thought that you have a say in when you, Fin, and Tony do the deed. The parents get together at night and stand in a circle in the yard around a stone table, sprinkling holy water on the stack of booties and other baby items while chanting names of each of us.” Mia burst out laughing and walked off as Brook and I looked at each other.
“She is just pulling our chain. At least I hope so, maybe we should check on that, I will find out if there are any live chickens missing in the area,” Brooklyn said and began walking us to the kitchen. Maybe if I helped Olivia, we could move this dinner along so I could get out of here. I could slowly feel myself dipping into the crazy.
The house started to fill more as the Roarks showed up with Mrs. Honeychil and Rucker. Maria was on her way from work. Rucker’s smiled when he spotted me and he ran to me.
“Aunt Z, Nonna Roark let me help her make cookies, then we played board games. And when I couldn’t sleep, Maria letting me lay down with her. Don’t tell Dad, he tells me I’m too big to need to sleep with anyone. Nonno Anthony showed me his workshop, he has tons and tons of baseball stuff on the walls. He said he would take me to a Yankee’s game. Nonna Roark took me to the O’Malley’s gym today before we came here. She’d called my dad and told him about the classes to teach kids how to take care of themselves.” I couldn’t get a word in on Rucker, and he didn’t seem as if he was ready to slowdown so I just listened as he continued.
“Dad had already signed me up. The class was great, we didn’t get to hit anyone but we got to watch two men punch on each other. One was new Fin said, it was his first day in the ring. He was huge with dark skin and he kicked the other fighter’s legs from under him. Then when the other guy was on the floor, the big guy landed on him. It was awesome, Aunt Z. And I met some boys too, there are ten of us in the class. Two are girls,” it took everything in me not to laugh at his little sneer when he mentioned that, “the rest are boys like me. I don’t know why girls have to be in the class. What can they do, Aunt Z?” Rucker finally ran out of wind when the door opened again and Maria and Ranger came in arguing. Good God, he’d accepted the crazy and they had to have welcomed him because he was acting like the rest of the men. Not like he had far to fall, he’d already been overbearingly protective, he’d just found an entire family where the men were all the same.
Rucker took off in their direction and I followed. Maybe I could help Maria out or save Ranger from death.
“Give me Zoey’s bag, you can give her the purse, we need to look at the file in there. You are just being stubborn like every other member of this family.” By Ranger’s tone they must have started the argument outside.
“Then she can give it to you. I told Cora I would deliver it to Zoey when I came to dinner. Now back off, Detective Marshall, before I do something totally unladylike.” Rucker didn’t seem to feel the tension radiating off the two as I watched him run up and hug Maria. Ranger’s face changed when he looked down at his son and watched Maria hug him back. “Hey, my little man. How has your day been?”
“Good, but I missed you at breakfast? Nonno said you had to go to work? What do you do?” Ranger’s brows pulled together at his son’s words. Yeah, this family had sucked my nephew in and I had a feeling they wouldn’t be letting him loose anytime soon.
“I put bad guys away, honey.” Maria smiled down at Rucker.
“Just like my dad?”
“Yes she does, just in a different way, Rucker. Do you have a hug for your old dad?” Rucker let loose of Maria and Ranger bent to accept his hug. When Ranger stood back up he looked at Maria, then to me. “Will you tell her to give me your bag
? Since all the guys are here we can take a look at that file.”
“You can look at it after dinner. The moms are setting everything on the table now. The men are out back. Why don’t you take Rucker and go out and say hello.” I held out my hand and Maria handed over my bag and purse, looking at Ranger with a smirk on her face.
He glared at her, “Fine but after dinner, we are going to want to see that. Come on, Rucker, let’s see what the guys are up to.” He grabbed Rucker’s hand and they started to walk off.
“Remember our secret, Maria,” Rucker yelled over his shoulder.
“Sure thing, little man,” as she chuckled when Ranger looked over his shoulder at her. My nephew only made matters worse, never say secret in front of a cop, they will browbeat you to get it out.
“Rucker, what secret do you have with Maria?”
“Nothing.”
“Doesn’t sound like nothing, son.”
“You going to be mad at me?”
“Should I be?”
“Okay,” Rucker’s voice lowered and Maria and I could barely make out his words as we shamelessly listened to the father/son interaction. “She let me sleep in her bed last night. Don’t be mad, Dad, it felt nice. Maybe if you asked, Maria would let you sleep with her.” I bit the inside of my mouth to keep from laughing when Ranger’s steps faltered. Maria’s face wore the same sign of humor until after we heard Ranger’s reply.
“Only if I was that lucky, Rucker.” Father and son continued on their way as I watched Maria watching them walk away, the look on her face didn’t stay long as she recovered and turned to me.
“Come on, I’ve delivered your things, now I need to find my mother to make another delivery. Her and my dad don’t know it, but they are traveling to Cali.” She chuckled, slipping her arm through mine. At my questioning look, she continued, “Tony and I decided to share the love. They can visit Kink, the men’s childhood friend and his biker family and our younger sisters, whom I might add have not gotten to share in the depression of not having a grandchild. Teach the little brats not to answer their damn phones.” Maria’s laugh was almost sinister as she pulled me down the hallway.
Well crap, it seemed there was no one normal in this family. And I’d learned over the last few days a very important lesson in dealing with this family—every man/woman/or child was on their own.

I’d worried about Zoey with everyone around, thinking she would be overwhelmed. She had been a little when we first arrived but as everyone started to show up, she relaxed more and more.
I tried not to think of my dad and how things would have been if he had still been living, it was asking to be depressed. But watching Zoey interact with Brooklyn and our ma, he would have accepted her with as must gusto as Michael’s dad had done. Richard Macaroy from what I can remember was a loving and active father. He read to Brooklyn and I. He’d put me on his shoulder and walk through the house. And I remember how he could make my ma laugh. The hand that touched my arm had my head turning and my ma was smiling at me, her eyes held a twinkle.
“He would have loved this, Reese. He would be so proud of you and Brooklyn and how you turned out. But don’t feel bad, he’s here and enjoying every minute with us.” She patted my arm and leaned over and kissed my cheek.
“How did you know what I was thinking?”
“A mother always knows, son. And I’m glad to see you and Michael found a way to make Zoey yours.” My ma motioned with her head to have me look at the head of the table where Zoey had the seat by Reilly. She laughed at something he said. Reilly was just as enamored with her as Michael and I. As if she felt us watching her, Zoey looked down the table and met my eyes, she smiled and I smiled back. “That girl loves you, it hasn’t hit her yet, but it will. Embrace her love, Reese, and I think you and Michael will find exactly what I had with your dad.” My ma never ceased to amaze me.
It was my turn to kiss her cheek, “Love ya, Ma.”
“Love you too, son. Always.”
Michael
All of the males had been sent to the backyard until dinner was served. It’d given us a chance to discuss everything going on. When Ranger joined us, he told us Maria had brought Zoey’s bag and that she wouldn’t give it to him. We’d all laughed. He was starting to fit in just fine with us and though it hadn’t started out that way, Ranger was slowly accepting his sister belonging to Reese and me.
“She looks happy, O’Malley.” He raised his hand, “I don’t want to know what went on for her to get that look either. She’s my sister and I’d rather not think of her that way. Just don’t you two fuck it up. We have enough bodies showing up, don’t want to add two more.”
Reese and I laughed but agreed because we fit in his shoes, Mia and Brooklyn, we didn’t want to know what went on with them either.
“I say we don’t look through the file until tomorrow. We can meet in the offices over the gym and go through it there. That way if we find anything, we can decide what to share with the women. Here, they’d be all up in it and we’d have no chance to really talk about anything we find.” Everyone agreed with me and the talk changed from business to what my dad had going on in his shop.
Ranger asked Tony about getting security fixed up at his house. We grabbed our old gloves out of my dad’s building and threw the ball around with Rucker. Zoey’s nephew was something else. Fin’s face had shown how pleased he was about the decision to hold classes for kids when Rucker shared how much he had enjoyed it.
When we were called into dinner, Zoey had told Reese and I about Cora ending up with her bag and purse. She said she’d have to call Cora and thank her for giving the things to Maria to give to her. We then joined everyone else in the dining room and I noticed my mom had outdone herself, the table was covered in food. No one had to be told not to let it get cold as bowls and pans were passed around for us to fill our plates.
My dad ate with a grin on his face all through dinner. A typical dinner at the O’Malley house: good food, conversation, a few arguments, well, maybe more than a few arguments. The biggest argument in O’Malley history would probably be in a few days after Ms. Maddie’s announcement.
“Zoey, your appointment is tomorrow at nine a.m. You will probably have a sonogram, though I think it will be too early for them to tell what the sex is, they should be able to give a date and hear the baby’s heartbeat.”
Yeah, dinner at that point turned into one big argument as the moms said they were going to be there, which set my dad off on the, my girl, my grandbaby, and no one would keep him away.
“Dad, haven’t I told y…” I didn’t get to finish, I glared at my brothers who had not said a word but were laughing so hard at the absurdity of the conversation.
“Oh save it, boy. You and Reese need to get over the she is yours. Zoey is giving me my first grandchild, she will always be mine. Deal with it.” My dad said his piece and turned back to argue with my mother that there was nothing wrong with a father-in-law-to-be getting to go in the exam room. Which had my brothers laughing harder. Assholes.
Zoey was giggling, which I was thankful for. However, I wondered if it was to keep from crying.
I looked over at Reese and he shook his head. He and I would be lucky if there was a second child. Well, maybe in eighteen years if we aren’t too old by then. The kid would be that old before my dad stopped coming around.
By the time dinner and dessert were demolished and we were on our way back to the house, exhaustion had set in, so much so that Zoey was asleep when I pulled into the garage.
Chapter Eighteen
Reese
I glared at my mother for the twelfth time this morning as the whole entire damn waiting room was filled with the expectant grandparents. And literally, the rest of the fucking family was sitting at the gym, waiting for the results. Then when my mother had sauntered in with her ‘surprise’, I thought I was going to strangle her. Of course, I had to look happy. Zoey would be crushed if I didn’t look happy her best frie
nd had snuck into town for the appointment, but damn, really? All we needed was a fucking monkey and a ringmaster and we could be called a circus.
“Oh my God,” Zoey squealed and jumped up and down clapping when my mother had yelled surprise when she opened the door. “BRIT!!!!”
Brit, best friend who admittedly, instantly helped Zoey who had been stressed relax, was a nice surprise, but added to this group, shit, the nurse behind the check-in looked like she was ready to quit her job.
“Do you think the room is big enough?” Michael laughed and I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
“Yeah, I doubt it, which means we have to tell them all they are waiting out here until the exam is finished. This is gonna suck,” I said grimly.
We both looked at our woman who was now glowing with happiness talking to her friend and introducing her to everyone. Mrs. O’Malley instantly stood and smiled big, “Oh my dear, so lovely to meet you! Now, how long are you in town? My son, Sean, is coming for dinner this weekend and we would love for you to come over as well. You would be perfect for him.”
Zoey had instantly looked like a deer in the headlights but watching Brit laugh and then agree to the dinner had been completely fucking strange, ‘cause, I pictured Sean, the huge mountain of a man who didn’t laugh, and Brit, the petite little bubbly blonde and yeah, they would look like a circus act, and he wasn’t even the biggest one of the O’Malley brothers.
“Marshall?” the nurse said cautiously from the doorway that led back to the examination rooms. I stood and turned to Michael who was already opening his mouth.
“That’s us, just ignore the rest of this group, there is only three of us coming in,” Michael said and glared at their parents as he took Zoey’s arm gently.
