  Chapter One

  Sensations

Looking down at my watch I bit back a curse. If there was one thing that truly pissed me off it was having my time wasted. I didn’t need another waitress. The only reason I’d agreed to interview the one who was now ten minutes late was as a favor to Kera. She was my most reliable stripper. I rewarded those that deserved it. She was always on time, didn’t do drugs, and kept her personal shit off my dime. Don’t think that meant I gave a shit for her personally. I didn’t mix business and feelings. Ever.

A timid knock on the door was met with my growl. “Enter!” Ten minutes late, I looked at my watch again. This better be Anya and she damn well needed to be everything Kera credited her with. This job didn’t require much. A sexy body and some semblance of common sense. The gorgeous, leggy blonde entering my office struck pay dirt on the first requirement.

“I’m Anya. Kera’s friend? You must be Sin. I was told you’d be expecting me?”

She could speak well. Her rushed sentences showed nervousness, but her baby blue eyes seemed focused. I took a full inventory of the tempting little package before me. The hard dicks would eat up this sweet looking babe. Her face was angelic. A cloud of golden curls fell over her shoulder to her tiny waist. I wasn’t immune. My cock twitched.

“Are you Sin?” She spoke like a lady, all polished and refined. The lilts of her voice weren’t grating on my nerves. That was a plus. A damn Barbie doll, that’s what she brought to mind. I wanted to shake her up and test her mettle.

“Yeah, I’m Sin. Strip for me.” I knew she was interviewing for a waitress position. Didn’t matter. All these young college women ended up stripping after working the floor. The money was tempting.

“Excuse m-me?” The tremor in that sweet little voice made me hesitate. I was just yanking her chain wanting to see how far she’d go. I admit she’s the first that ever questioned my demand. Women that worked in this field weren’t shy. I looked at her a little closer. She was dressed in a white mini-skirt that showed off more than it hid, the little pink tank top gave a nice peek of cleavage. Definitely not a Sunday school teacher, I thought.

“You want the job? I need to see what you’re offering.” Shrugging my shoulders, I kept my expression neutral. She blushed, fucking blushed! Blow me the fuck away I was shocked. Her eyes glanced to the door and I realized she wasn’t going to give in.

“I’m not sure what Kera told you about me, but I’m only here to interview as a waitress.” She nibbled on her full, pink, lower-lip and I felt my balls tighten. I’d be a goddamn liar if I said I didn’t think about seeing how far I could push her. She took a few steps back and I changed my mind. I was only fucking with her.

“Shame. I bet you have the body to make all my customers drool.” Shaking my head I motioned to the chair.”

She sat down and crossed her legs. Prim and proper. I almost chuckled. What the fuck was Kera thinking encouraging a girl like her to come work here? “I’ll give you a weekend. You screw up I boot your ass out the door. Feel me?”

She nodded her head obediently, and I smirked. “Here’s the deal. You make minimum wage and tips. No drugs or whoring yourself on my time. You fuck a customer, take the shit off my property. I don’t like drama or drugs. Keep your personal shit out of here. You work off those rules, we won’t have an issue.”

Her eyes widened in shock at my little speech. It didn’t take a genius to see my crude language offended her. To fucking bad. Pussyfooting around the truth wasn’t how I rolled. I ran a business and it was one dealing with selling the idea of sex. I knew some of the girls here fucked around. That was their choice. It didn’t happen on my lot. Selling the fantasy was one thing. Pimping? That was not my deal.

“If you’re good with those rules hand over your license.” Part of me expected her to get up and run for the door. She seemed like a nice girl. Those didn’t fit in my world. I was shocked when she dug in her purse and pulled it out. I took it from her, trying not smile as I noticed her hand shaking.

“I don’t fuck my girls. You can relax.” It pissed me off that she seemed relieved by the comment. Women threw themselves at me, not vice-versa. I pulled an application out of the desk drawer and handed it to her. “Fill this out.” With a look full of disdain, I walked over to the copy machine in the corner.

I made a copy of her card for my file and handed it back. Her type wasn’t something I was unfamiliar with. Women that looked like her usually had a craving for the dark side. They might come across all flowers and shit, but what they really wanted was a man like me. I’d seen it all in my years. The rich babes tossing me money to scratch an itch, to the dancers who tried to impress the boss thinking they could earn more dough. I was immune to the bullshit.

I looked over her application and attempted not to sneer. She probably thought she was too good for a man like me. Tossing that paper in a file folder, I wanted to show her who was in charge. “Stop by the bar and tell George to get you a uniform. We’re done here.”

She stood up looking at me uncertainly. I glared back. “Did you misunderstand something?”

“No Sir.” She glanced at her feet. “Um, you didn’t tell me when to start?”

“Sin. Keep that sir shit for your college professors.” I sat back in the desk chair, folding my arms over my chest. I knew I was being a dick, but eyed her up and down again. I wanted her to know I was an ass. “Be here Friday night at seven. Kera will show you around.” I stood up, walked over to the door, and held it open. “Don’t be fucking late.”

The way she ran from the room should have made me chuckle. It didn’t. I made it a point to never let my guard down around my girls. I didn’t want them to get stars in their eyes, and I didn’t need any bullshit. Being an asshole kept them in place. Why I felt like shit talking to Anya that way, I refused to think about. She’s just another bitch. That’s what I wanted to believe. Something about her didn’t fit the profile I was sticking to her.

My heart raced frantically. Walking out of that office I felt singed. Meeting Sin had been an experience I didn’t want to live through again. Kera had suggested the job at Sin’s Den because she knew how hard up I was for cash.
It had taken a week before I even agreed to consider it. A strip club was the last place on earth I thought I’d work.

Kera was my best friend. I didn’t hold her side job against her, but it didn’t fit in with my conservative nature. It’s amazing what you’ll do after living off potted meat and noodles for a month. I’d worked at the school store full-time before they decided to cut my schedule, and the part-time hours weren’t enough. Even with my student loan I couldn’t make ends meet.

Taking a few deep breaths, I knew this job was going to save me. I walked over to the bar and forced a smile for the bartender. “Sin told me that I needed to get a uniform.”

  “What size you wear doll?”

“Size three in pants, small in shirt.” I watched him walk off and turned my attention to the room.

It looked like the strip club I’d seen in a movie. There was a long stage with tables sprawled around it. Three poles were spaced apart and connected from the ceiling to the shiny runway. There were several booths lining the walls. Neon lights were flooding the club even though no one was dancing. I wondered what it was like to be one of those girls stripping. I couldn’t imagine men checking me out as I took it all off. The thought made me shiver.

George walked back in carrying a few uniforms in his arms. “These should work. There’s only three, and if you lose one, it comes out of your check.”

“Thanks George, by the way I’m Anya.” I reached out and took the clothes, attempting a smile. He didn’t threaten me with his appearance. George looked like he could be someone’s grandfather. He was slightly balding, and a little thick around the waist. His eyes weren’t all over me the way Sin’s had been.

“Kind of surprised you’re not dancing. Pretty little thing like you could make some serious money?”

“Just not my thing George, but thanks for the compliment.” I wanted to be friendly.

“Too bad. But hey, you can change your mind later.”

I wanted to say not unless hell froze over, but I decided that would be rude. “You never know. I need to get back to school.”

He was smiling as I left. After dealing with Sin it was nice to see a smiling face. Driving back to campus, I felt a small sense of relief. Kera said a waitress could make a couple of hundred dollars a weekend. Between that and my job at the school store I might be able to afford a decent meal in a few weeks.

I didn’t want to think about the meeting with Sin, or having to deal with him as an employee. He terrified me. Well, maybe it wasn’t terror, but the way he made me feel wasn’t pleasant. Sin was gorgeous. There was no denying that. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen a man as beautiful as him. Looks weren’t everything. The hardness in his eyes was something I’d never seen in another man. Definitely a person I was better off avoiding.

My stomach rumbled and Sin became a second thought. I walked into the dorm rooms thankful that my roommates were taking classes today. I didn’t want to discuss my new job yet. The thought of potted meat or noodles made me gag, but it was all I had available.

Popping the top on the can, I used my fingers to dig out the smashed paste. Washing it down with bottled water, I made a face. To take my mind off my meal choice, I called Kera to let her know I’d gotten the job. Pulling out my cell I waited for her to answer.

“So how’d you like meeting Sin?”

Her laugh told me she knew just what I thought and I blushed. “He’s not someone I’d want to cross. You were right about his looks though.”

“He’s damn hot alright, but I haven’t been able to get him to even wink at me.” I knew that was a sore point. Men didn’t ignore Kera. She was tall, raven haired, with a body that left most men panting.

“You mean there’s a man on this planet that doesn’t want to be with you?” I was pretty shocked. Maybe Sin was gay?

“Whatever smart ass. Men would be knocking down your door if you’d let them. Pull your head out of the books for five minutes, you might notice that.”

“I need to concentrate on studies. Unlike you, some of us have to work to pass.” Kera didn’t understand that men weren’t on my radar at the moment, or how easy she had it passing classes without trying. She’d tried to set me up with several blind dates, but they just didn’t appeal.

“You need to get laid. I swear you get more prim and proper by the week. So when do you start?”

I didn’t take offense to her words. That was just who she was. “Friday night. I hope you’re right about the money.”

“The money will be decent. If you’d take my advice and show off some skin you could be living out here with me.”

Kera was living the life. Even with her college expenses she could afford to live in the exclusive condo’s that rich students inhabited. I admit, I was a little jealous. “I’d probably puke on the first customer.” I knew she was trying to be helpful, but me taking my clothes off? No thank you.

“You definitely need to get laid.” She chuckled into the phone and I shook my head.

“Can I get ready at your place Friday night?” I wanted to change the conversation topic.

“No need to ask. Get here about five and I’ll do your hair and makeup. We need you making all the men cream their pants when they see you.”

  I blushed bright red. “Kera!”

“Stop being such a prude. If you want to make money you need to make them pay attention. You’re competing with woman on the stage showing it all.”

Blowing out an exasperated sigh I knew she was right. “I hope I don’t screw this up.”

“Stop talking like that. All you have to do is bat your pretty little eyelashes and they’ll be falling over you like dogs in heat.”

“As long as they are tipping well I don’t care what they do.”

“Now that’s the right attitude! I need to run I’m having a wax done, you want to join?”

“I’ll pass this time. Have fun. I’ll see you Friday.”

Hanging up the phone my stomach rumbled again. I really wanted a steak at the moment!

  Chapter two

  Friday

I finished studying Friday, and showed up at Kera’s place at five. My uniform was neatly pressed and hanging in a plastic sack. I couldn’t afford a dress bag. Knocking on her door, I waited for her to answer. A drop-dead, sexy man answered the door instead and I stared at his body. He was wearing a towel around his waist, and nothing else. How could I not look?

“Hey. I’m Luke, you must be Anya.”

I nodded, trying not to gawk at the six-pack abs this guy was sporting. “Um yeah, can I come in?” His muscled arm was braced over the door as he stared at me. I wanted to take a step back. I just didn’t feel very comfortable around men in general.

“Free country,” with a charming grin, he held the door open and I walked through.

“Back here.” I heard Kera call out and I hurriedly walked to her bedroom with Luke following close behind.

“Can I use your shower?” I wanted to get away from the walking testosterone who couldn’t seem to keep his eyes off my butt. It was making me nervous. I hadn’t expected anyone but Kera to be here.

“Sure thing. You know where it is.” Kera was sitting at her vanity putting on her face and I quickly walked to the bathroom.

“You need some help in there, let me know.” I shut the bathroom door and locked it, deciding not answering the guy was probably smart. Obviously he didn’t have a problem sharing.

“Leave her alone, Luke. She’s starting at the club with me tonight.” I heard Anya speaking and almost groaned. Now the guy was going to think I was a stripper.

Turning on the water, I carefully stepped in the shower trying not to get my hair wet. I’d just washed it earlier this morning and it took forever to dry the long locks. I knew we didn’t have much time so I washed off and did a quick shave of my legs.

Normally I would have just kept on the towel while Kera did my hair and makeup, but I knew with Luke there I didn’t want to give that impression. Pulling my underw
ear and bra out of the overnight bag, I slid those on and then dressed in the uniform.

The shorts showed my butt, and the shirt fell just below my bra. I hated showing that much skin, but there was no help for it. Sitting on the toilet, I pulled on my no-show socks and black tennis shoes. When I felt I was presentable, I took a deep breath and exited the bathroom.

Walking back out into Kera’s bedroom, my heart nearly dropped into my stomach. Luke had her bent over the bed and was driving home forcefully. Turning my head away I was more than a little shocked. I wasn’t sure what to do. Walk back in the bathroom until they finished, or just keep my head turned? I didn’t have to make the decision as Luke pulled out of her, and turned to face me.

  “Enjoy the show?”

I just stood there with my mouth hanging open. How was I supposed to answer that?

“Just ignore him,” Anya smirked. “Give me five to grab a shower and we’ll get started.”

Nodding at her, I turned away from the sight of Luke in all his glory. There was no shame at all in this glorified man. Kera had never been shy, but this was a little over the top, even for her.

“I’ll keep her company,” he winked at me and patted the bed.

“Give it a rest, you won’t be getting it up for another half hour.” Kera rolled her eyes and then turned to me. “Don’t worry about him, he just likes to pretend he’s insatiable.”

She walked into the bathroom and left me alone with him. I wasn’t sure what to do so I sat down at the vanity and started brushing my hair. I was shocked when Luke walked over and grabbed my brush, taking it upon himself to finish the job.

Having a naked man messing with my hair was not in my comfort zone, but I couldn’t seem to tell him to stop. I kept my body tense as he expertly groomed me. Obviously Kera was wrong because unless I was mistaken it wasn’t a flaccid member resting against my back now.
