Huge shoutout to my team at Entangled Publishing!!! With all the exclamation marks!!! There are so many awesome people there, and I appreciate every person who helps polish my books, get them into the hands of readers, and make sure people know about them. I appreciate the brainstorming meetings and the care you’ve taken with my career. Extra thanks to Holly Bryant-Simpson, Riki Cleavland, and Jessica Turner for all the publicity help. Big hugs to Liz Pelletier, Heather Riccio, Melanie Smith, and Candy Havens for everything you do for me, and for being fun people to hang out with. (Both my editors, Stacy and Alycia, also fit in that category.) I’ve also met a ton of awesome author friends there and just love being part of the Entangled family.

To my dear family, thanks for putting up with writer brain and burned dinners—people told me that I couldn’t burn stuff in the foolproof Instapot and I’m proud to say I proved them wrong. Because I’m an overachiever like that. (I talk about our Instapot Fred and dinner disasters over on Facebook a lot if you’d like to friend me and see the disasters firsthand.) And still my family keeps laughing and encouraging me and they’re always my biggest cheerleaders and my best inspiration for what love is. Hulk (my husband prefers me to refer to him as this on social media platforms, so everybody just go with it), I love you. Sometimes, like Ivy and Jackson, we have heated arguments and drive each other a little crazy in every possible way, but like them, we also belong together.

Huge thanks to my readers and to bloggers and reviwers and librarians and just the entire book community. I’m so proud to be a member, because reading is totally where it’s at. Thank you all for letting me share my stories with you.

  About the Author

Cindi Madsen is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance and young adult novels. She sits at her computer every chance she gets, plotting, revising, and falling in love with her characters. Sometimes it makes her a crazy person. Without it, she’d be even crazier. She has way too many shoes, but can always find a reason to buy a pretty new pair, especially if they’re sparkly, colorful, or super tall. She loves music and dancing and wishes summer lasted all year long. She lives in Colorado (where summer is most definitely not all year long) with her husband and three children.
