by Jo Wood
My lovely sister Lize.
My best friend Lorraine.
My 40th birthday party at the Hard Rock Café in Japan with some of the boys from the crew. We didn’t get to bed until 10 o’clock the following morning.
Chuch Magee: my tour teacher, hero and dear friend.
Bad boys when they’re awake, angels when they’re asleep. . .
I love this picture of Keith cracking up while I played Tarzan in a tree in Jamaica. We’d been up all night and went to a beach called Laughing Waters near Keith’s house to continue the party.
Me and the girls: the faaaabulous Jerry Hall and my wonderful friend Patti Richards.
2 January 1985. Just married – with our darling Ty in his vintage knitted outfit. My dad and Jamie are in the background.
One of the very rare shots I have of us with all our children: Jamie, Leah, Ty (just a few months old here) and Jesse.
The King and Queen of Mandeville Canyon, Los Angeles.
At the Rio Carnival in my silly shiny tights about to do the samba (well, try to anyway).
Stopping for refreshments way out in the bush on safari with Jesse, Ty and Leah. I fell in love with Kenya and have wonderful memories of this holiday.
Sundowners on the side of a mountain in Kenya in the early noughties.
My 50th birthday party. We had a marquee in the garden with dinner cooked by Jamie Oliver and entertainment courtesy of three male strippers (organised by my eldest). So embarrassing, but very funny!
Way up in the mountains of Tibet. I had to get a photo with this wonderful woman. The Tibetan way of life fascinated me.
Hanging out with the girls (and pretending to do a bit of sewing) at Swallows village in Bangladesh.
I had the most amazing time on Strictly Come Dancing. I was so proud that I lasted six weeks on the show, even though I can’t dance!
My first publicity shots for Jo Wood Organics. I was so proud of my products and everything we achieved.
Here’s me with my gang. Top, left to right: Charlie, my eldest grandson; my granddaughter Lola; Kitty, my niece; Arthur, my grandson; Elian, my nephew. Bottom, left to right: my nephew, Teddy; Kobi, my grandson; me; Maggie, my granddaughter; my grandson, Leo. Missing in this line-up are Bill and Ben, my brother Vinnie’s sons.
