After a few minutes of sitting in the living room and thinking about Bianca’s words, I went into the kitchen where she was. I made myself a plate and we sat around talking until it was time for me to go to school.
Chapter 12
Angel
It had been three days and the conversation I had with Bianca continued to run wildly in my head. It made me both excited and nervous at the same time. Every time I’d tried to move forward with myself, something seemed to knock me back down. And she was right as usual, I needed to get away from Kelley’s ass and I needed to get away from popping pills. Since my talk with her, though, I hadn’t taken a single pill.
With those thoughts of my childhood running through my head, that’s how I ended up at Smoke’s house chilling with him, though he was no longer keeping the negative thoughts away.
I need to get high… I need a least three pills.
I quickly tossed that thought out of my head. “Smoke, roll something real quick. I have to be at work in a couple hours,” I told him, looking at my cellphone.
Smoke scooped down on the couch as he stared at me. “It’s half of a blunt in the ashtray, gon’ light that up,” his hand motioned toward the ashtray on the center table.
I grabbed the blunt and the lighter beside it and sat back down. With the brown paper between my lips, I lit it. Taking a long pull, my head fell back on the couch as I blew the smoke into the air.
“Why you all the way over there?” Smoke suddenly asked. He sat up and grabbed me by my hips, pulling me closer to him.
I glanced down at him, already knowing where his head was at. My eyes rolled into my head as I took another pull from the blunt. “Here,” I handed it to him.
“I’m good, gon’ head.” His head went into the side of my neck and he kissed the skin.
My head jerked to the side and again I looked down at him. I was not about to play no games with him. “Smoke, if you tryna fuck you might as well reach into yo pocket and pull off a few bills.”
His lips stopped moving and a smile came to my lips. “Pay you?” His head reared back and his face screwed up ugly. He looked at me like I’d said the dumbest shit he had ever heard. “What the fuck you mean pull off a few?” He asked dumbly.
My eyes rolled and I dropped the roach of a blunt into the ashtray. I stood up, now ready to go. “Like I said, if you tryna fuck then pull yo money out.”
“Yo ass bullshittin’, Angel. Why the fuck you playing?” He let out a humorous laugh.
My brows rose, not finding anything funny. I was dead serious. “Smoke, I’m not about to sit here and play with you. I told you I had to be at work.” I stood in front of him with a hand on my hip and the other held out toward him.
“Yo ass fo’real?” He asked distastefully.
I hoped that threw him off to the point where he was just on some high shit and didn’t really want to do it. I was not attracted to him at all, but shid, money was money. “Dead ass.”
Smoke reached into his pocket and pulled out a baggy. “Here.”
“Nigga, what the fuck is this?” He handed me three pills and a rock, making my brows rise. “I ain’t no gotdamn crack head, what the fuck? And three mothafuckin’ pills ain’t gon’ get shit paid. I’m gone.”
“Yo ass wrong for this shit, man. How much?” He asked, irritably. I paid that no mind. He had the money and if anything, I should’ve been the one irritated. But bills had to be paid.
“Three…”
“Hell n’all, bitch, you crazy. I ain’t ‘bout to pay three hunnit for no damn pussy when I can get the shit for free from any bitch out here,” he harshly spat.
Shrugging, I grabbed my purse. Hell, he was doing me a favor, I ain’t wanna fuck his ass anyway. “Shid, that’s cool with me. Go find that bitch,” I was saying, but Smoke cut me off.
“Hold up,” he reached in his pocket. “Boss, you a dirty ass bitch.” Smoke slapped three hundred dollars in my hands.
I rolled my eyes at him. “I ain’t too dirty because yo ass still wanna fuck.” Grabbing my arms, Smoke pulled me on top of him, bringing his mouth close to mine. “Nuh uh,” I pressed my hand to his face and pushed his head back. “No kissing.”
Getting off of his lap, I took off my shirt, but left on my bra. I removed my jeans and panties then reached into my purse, taking out a strawberry flavored condom. Coming to my knees in front of him, I undid his jeans and pulled them down with his help. When I saw the length of him, I was a bit surprised. I expected to find a little skinny dick that was four maybe five inches, imagine my surprise when what I saw was way bigger than what I expected.
“Damn, Smoke. I thought you were packing a baby, I ain’t even lying,” I told him honestly and with a laugh.
“N’all, baby girl, ain’t shit little ‘bout me.”
Not bothering to reply back, I smeared pre-cum from his leaking tip around the head and down his dick. I opened the condom, putting the very top of it in my mouth. My tongue held the edge of the prophylactic to the roof of my mouth and then I took hold of his base as I lowered my head.
My tongue then pressed the tip of the condom on the head of his dick, making sure no air got in before I began to roll it down his shaft with my mouth. Once the condom was on, my head began to bob as I started to pleasure him.

“Ooh, fuck,” I moaned, biting into my lower lip. My hands gripped the couch pillow tight as Smoke pumped feverishly into me from behind, hitting my g-spot repeatedly. “Ah, ah, ah fuck, harder, ooh!” Grabbing his hip, my nails dug into his skin as his pelvis slapped against my ass. “Oh, my God! Oh, my God! Ooh, Smoke,” I screamed out as my body started to shake, my pussy milking around him.
That unusual ring tone sounded loud amongst our heavy panting.
“Fuck,” I cursed as I was slightly pulled from my sexual haze. Grabbing my purse from the floor, I grabbed the ringing iPhone. Holding my hand up for Smoke to slow down, I answered the phone. “What, Parker?” I answered with an attitude.
“Where you at?” He asked.
I glanced back at Smoke who started picking up his pace once again. “At work, why?” My eyes rolled in my head and my mouth opened. Pressing the phone into the couch I bit into my arm in order to muffle my screams.
Smoke flipped me on my back, spread my legs wide and started pounding hard into my body as he played with my clit. “Oh, fuck!” Hanging up the phone, I grabbed Smoke’s hips. “Ooh, Smoke! Ah, ah, ah, aaaahhh!” With a scream, I came hard. Shortly after that, with two powerful and deep strokes, Smoke did too. Still panting, I pushed Smoke back then got up on shaking legs. “Oh, damn,” I said as I leaned back on the arm of the couch, getting off of my wobbly legs. “Can you get me a towel and point me towards your bathroom?” I asked him as I got my clothes off the floor.
“Damn, no after lay or shit. You fuckin’ and dipping, huh?” Smoke seemed a little put off as he stared at me with his brows raised.
“Shid, I must say I underestimated you. But, baby, ain’t no cuddling to this, you should know that. We do what we do, that’s it,” I explained, not waiting on him to get me a towel. Instead, I got the cleaning wipes from my purse and started wiping myself down. Once I finished, I pulled on my clothes. “This was fun, maybe we can do it again sometime.” I told him as I grabbed the ringing iPhone off his couch. I kissed his cheek and then headed for the door.
“Damn, baby girl, this how you doing it?” Smoke asked from behind me.
I stopped in my tracks. “What you mean, is this how I’m doing it?” I asked him, confused and not understanding his sour mood all of a sudden.
“Angel, don’t play with me. Yo ass know what the fuck I mean, man. You know I like yo little black ass and this how you gon’ do me? That’s fuck’d up you straight ‘bout to bounce.”
My lips formed into an O. This is beyond awkward.
“Wow.” I turned fully toward him. My mouth opened and then closed before I shrugged. “Smoke, I didn’t know you liked me. If I had known, this w
ouldn’t have happened. I thought you just liked to pick at me is all. Look, I don’t want no bad blood between us, so let’s just forget this happened. I gotta go, we’ll get up later.”
“Ain’t no bad blood, Angel, but fuck you, yo. Real shit, yo ass dirty for this. Gon’ get the fuck up outda here,” Smoke stated with a wave of his hand toward the door.
Shid, I wasn’t going to argue with him, he would get over it. Even if I wanted to reply to him, though, the constant ringing of that stupid iPhone prevented me from doing so.
Irritated with the ringing phone, I answered it. “What, Parker? Damn, I was busy, I would’ve called you back once I was finished doing what I was doing.” Walking out of Smoke’s house, I made my way to my car. The other line was quiet for a minute and I had to look at the phone to make sure he didn’t hang up on me. “Hello?” I spoke slowly as I got in my car, starting it up.
“Where you at?” He asked.
“Out. Why? What’s up?” Putting the phone on speaker, I started driving away from Smoke’s house.
“Out? Syn, don’t make me fuck you up. On everything, don’t fuckin’ play with me. Didn’t I tell yo ass to answer the fuckin’ phone when I call it?” Parker’s deep voice snapped through the line.
I couldn’t help the laugh that escaped my mouth. “Parker, baby, you don’t run shit but that mouth of yours,” I started saying until he cut me off.
“Pull over or I’ll run that pink little bitch off the road.” My brows furrowed in confusion.
“What?” I asked dumbly. But I never got a verbal reply because a horn blew on the side of me.
A sexy dark skinned dude sat in the passenger seat smiling, showing off his pearly whites. We came to a stop light and he rolled down his window then gestured for me to do the same. Once I did, he leaned back.
“Get the fuck out the car,” Parker yelled from the driver seat.
Oh, shit! Where the fuck this nigga come from?
As soon as the light turned green, I took off with Parker doing the same right on the side of me. Glancing over to his truck, I saw the dark skin dude looking into my car, smiling before waving.
Parker sped up and then swung his truck in front of me, getting a little ahead of me. Before I realized what was happening, his brake lights came on as he suddenly stopped in the middle of the street, causing me to come to a screeching halt.
My car jerked forward hard from the sudden stop. Before I could react, my door was opening and I was being pulled out.
No, this nigga didn’t!
“Mane, take her car to the spot and I’ll meet up with you later,” Parker told his friend.
“What the hell is yo damn problem? Put me the fuck down! Yo black ass bet not get in my damn car. Parker, put me the fuck down!” As if I said nothing, dude got his big ass in my car and quickly pulled off. “Parker, put me down now! What are you doing? Stop!”
“Shut the fuck up and get in the damn truck.” I wasn’t letting it go down that easily. Fighting to stand my ground, my feet pressed against the car, pushing us away from it. “Stop fuckin’ playing and get in before the cops come.”
“Yeah, and they gon’ take yo ass to jail. Nigga, this is kidnapping. Put me down, Parker!” I yelled at him, but again I was paid no attention as I was forcefully pushed in from the driver side.
Once I was in, Parker wasted no time getting in and pulling off. I wasn’t even fully in the seat, I was on the damn armrest. He pushed me the rest of the way over, causing me to hit the door. I righted myself in the seat and then turned toward him and punched him in the face.
“What is wrong with you? Yo ass can’t be doing no shit like that. Hell n’all, Parker. If you wanna go telling mothafuckas I dance then do that, but this, us, hell n’all! I can’t even get with it. Pull over… damn, yo dude got my fuckin’ purse and shit. Parker, pull over, let me out!”
Nothing like this had ever happened to me before so I was kind of freaking out on the inside. That nigga was fuckin’ crazy, we could’ve started a collision in the middle of the road. Hell, I could’ve died. Looking at Parker, I saw that he was looking cool, as if nothing abnormal was going on. Reaching in the cup holder, he grabbed the box of Newports 100’s and taking out a cigarette, he lit it.
“Why yo ass staring so hard?” He asked before jumping on I-95
“Parker, where are we going?” I asked as he got on the highway.
“So dude you just left, who’s he? Yo nigga?” He glanced at me out of the corner of his eye.
My eyes rolled at that and I was about to give a smart reply. I caught my tongue though, realizing I could use this to my advantage. “Yeah, we dating and he crazy as hell. So this thing you tryna have with me ain’t gon’ work because if he find out, he gon’ kill the both of us.” The seriousness in my voice kind of fooled me.
Looking over at me, Parker laughed. “Word?” He was unfazed. “So tell me something about you, Syn.” I opened my mouth to correct him about the name slip, but he beat me to it. “I mean Angel, tell me something about you.”
“I don’t like to be stopped in the middle of the street, kidnapped, and forced into men’s cars or trucks.” That made him laugh. What’s funny? I didn’t know.
“Well, I don’t like to share. It’s funny, tho’, you sayin’ he’s yo dude. I mean, when we was at the party, y’all didn’t seem like y’all were together. In fact, I didn’t even see you talking to dude beside when we first got there. So why you lying to me?”
Observant, I like that.
“Why you kidnap me?”
“So we gon’ do question with question?” I hummed at that, making Parker laugh. “Okay, I’ll go first. I didn’t kidnap you, I just borrowed you for the day. I called to tell you I was in town, but you hung up on me—”
My hand went up, cutting him short. “And you just so happened to run into me on the road? Not likely. I don’t do stalkers,” I told him with an attitude.
“If he was paying you would,” he shaded.
Wow that hit deep. That actually hurt a little. I didn't know what to say or how to respond.
“Aw, baby, don’t pout, it’s cool. Get it how you do. I ain’t knocking yo hustle, baby girl, but if you gon’ be fuckin’ with me, you gon’ have to find another hustle. Dancing, I don’t mind. Niggas at the club know you fuck with me, so ain’t too many gon’ come at you on no fuckin’ type shit.”
What the hell is he on?
“Are you high?” I asked him seriously because he was talking out of his ass. If I was gon’ be fuckin’ with him I was gon’ have to stop fuckin’ around? When did I say I was fuckin’ with him to begin with?
“N’all, I ain’t high? Is you high?”
I turned around in my seat so I was facing him. I stared at Parker for a long minute. I had to give it to him, he was sexy, no doubt, but what he was on, I wasn’t going there with no man.
“Hold on, baby, I think you done got confused on this whole thing. Parker, getting to know me is one thing, fuckin’ with me is a whole other one. You asked to get to know me, meaning on a friend only level. Fuckin’ with me, you’re not. So let’s get this out there now so no misunderstandings come into play,” I stated, turning off the radio.
“I don’t date, I don’t wanna date, I don’t wanna date you. You’re cool and all, but this can’t go nowhere serious, Parker. I’m not tryna be mean or a bitch, I’m just being honest. So if you’re coming into getting to know me with feelings, it’s best you lose them because I can’t return them.”
After many years of getting burned by hoods, I’d given up all hope on them. My main focus was me coming up on my own and to be honest, I’d been doing a hell of a job.
He hummed. “Is that so? You can’t or you won’t? It don’t even matter. I like you, Syn, so gon’ with that tough girl shit. You had a fuck’d up young life, got it. You been hurt fuckin’ with them clown ass niggas from yo neck of the woods, understand that too. But I ain’t them niggas, I’mma grown ass man, sweetheart. I see what I want and I ge
t it. As of right now, that’s you, so you can play tough all you want, but I got you.”
This nigga is dead ass serious!
“Knowing this, you might as well quit yo side project fuckin’ with them little corner ass niggas or house sitters like yo boy you was just with. You said you gon’ let me get to know you, ain’t no difference in that to me. If it was, then you should’ve clarified that from jump. I ain’t got time for games, so lose yo niggas and everything gon’ be cool. Now, besides the obvious, tell me something about you.” When I didn’t say anything, he laughed. “Okay. how about you start by telling me your full name?”
I didn’t know if it was his calm demeanor as he talked or the fact he knew Smoke packed at a house that had my nerves on edge.
How the hell did he even know where I was?
Maybe I should’ve thought about it before deciding anything. Maybe Parker was more dangerous than I thought he was. I mean, I knew what he did for a living, but I didn’t peg him for the crazy stalker type. He was always cool whenever I danced for him at the club or when we hooked up in the back.
Damn, I ain’t got my purse where my gun and blade is. Fuck!
“Angel Williams, is my full name,” I answered him. “What’s yours?” It was best I knew his full name as well just in case I had to report his ass.
“Parker James,” he smiled over at me. “What do you like doing when you’re not working?” He asked.
“Where are you taking me?” I asked instead of answering his question. My nerves were on edge no doubt, but I wasn’t going to let it show.
“My crib, I gotda stop by there for a minute. Is you cool with that?” He asked with a raised brow.
After basically kidnapping me, he finally asked if I was cool with something. “No, I’m not. Where the hell yo boy take my car? His ass bet not take shit out my purse or wreck my fuckin’ ride.” Glancing at me, he started laughing. “Ain’t shit funny. I’m serious, Parker.”
“That's why I’m laughing. That nigga ain’t taking shit from you. And if he fuck up yo car he got money to buy you ten mo’ bugs. Personally, I think he’ll be doing you a favor fucking it up. You can’t be on my arm driving that hot pink shit.”
