His eyes beautiful and bright, Alex asked, “Will that work?”
Hunter shook his head to gather his wits. “It’s a damn good start, honey.”
“I knew you’d come back.” Alex tugged on Hunter’s t-shirt and scraped a fast kiss across his cheek. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” Hunter watched Alex as he said those words. Alex seemed to light from within when Hunter shared his love, and seeing it sparked deep, unfathomable pleasure in Hunter. “But you’re not getting out of this.” Love was a wonderful thing, but Alex had also instigated a rawer hunger Hunter could not ignore. “Show me your ass again, honey.” Locked on every tiny nuance in his man, Hunter gave Alex his own version of a wicked grin. “I need to see it.”
Right there on the side of the road, smiling so damn big he could compete with the morning sunlight, Alex turned and did just that.
