“Do you have the feeling her not going ape fucking shit is going to be worse than if she had?” Joel cut her short, giving Tammer a pointed look with one brow lifted.
“What is it they say? Silence is deadly?” Tammer pinched her ass and grabbed the hand she started to slap his arm with and planted a kiss on her wrist. “Easy, defiance, I saw a spatula in there last night that almost beat the wooden spoon for paddling privileges. And since your Liege missed seeing your punishment yesterday but is present now, don’t think I won’t rip your panties off and do it right here across the desk.”
“And while I’d love to see that,” Joel piped up. “I have to be somewhere in ten, so let’s get back to this theory of yours about her staying with you. What’s up? Have the neighbors started peeking out their curtains yet?”
“Worse, I had a half-dozen soccer moms stare me down as if I were doing the walk of shame the other morning when I left to go to work. I’m pretty sure by now the whole block is aware of me being here,” Tammer said.
“Yeah, like half of them haven’t had live-ins while their husbands are away,” Joel scoffed. “The only difference being their husbands were clueless and their cubs hid their cars either down the block or in the garage. I’m not into hiding so fuck that. But being as she’s been treated like shit in that neighborhood long enough, yes, I agree. Kitten, you take what you need and stay with Tammer for now. And don’t hole up over there and never leave the house. I’d better be getting regular reports you’ve ventured out and made a new friend or two. I want the Nina I married back by the time I get in. The one who gets massages and collects moth-ball stinking clothes, and gets pedis and goes dancing.”
“I’m allowed to go dancing?” Nina said, her pulse skipping. “Can Tammer take me to that club you’ve been totally against ever since I found that card in the ladies room at the mall? You wouldn’t let me call the number?”
“Yes, but you won’t have to call that number. He belongs to that club.”
“We have a lot to talk about, don’t we?” Nina teased, pinching Tammer’s cheeks.
“Okay kids, I have to go and I’ll be out of pocket for a while,” Joel said, running his hands over his head.
“Be safe, My Liege,” Nina said, her excitement waning a bit under the shadow of reality. “I love you.”
“I love you, too. Tammer…later, man.”
Joel waved once and was gone.

“Kitten,” a voice whispered from what seemed very far away. “Kitten, wake up.”
Nina smiled as the thought of Joel’s voice skittering across her ear warmed her. If only it were real. She missed him, although she wasn’t nearly as lonely since Tammer had moved her in with him, away from the prying eyes and wagging tongues of her neighbors, and had slept beside her every night since the rules had been revoked. While Nina wasn’t happy with being deceived, she understood why Joel had done what he’d done and honestly, Nina was grateful. Now that they were planning a future together, one in which the three of them lived together, Nina didn’t have to worry about being alone ninety percent of the time. One, the other, or both would be with her at all times. Although she wasn’t entirely happy when Tammer revealed not only was he a private, small arms instructor but that he occasionally took on a private mission as well. Unwilling to give up her newfound utopia, she decided she could live with it as long as she had them both.
Sighing and smiling at the heat emanating from Tammer, she turned and curled further into him, her eyes flying open when another body scooted in behind her and another set of arms encircled her waist.
“Nina Prescott, don’t tell me you’re not going to at least say hello,” Joel growled into her ear, bringing his mouth down and clipping her lobe. “Is the sitter that much better you can just ignore me?”
“My Liege,” she squealed, flipping over to find the voice was accompanied by a flesh and blood Joel. “Why didn’t you call me? I’d have come to get you.” Then she twisted up her nose and frowned. “How did you get in here?”
“I wanted to surprise you.” Joel tugged her over him and as she straddled him, she found he’d come home with a customary hard dick which pulsed at the contact. “Tammer told me where the key was when I talked to him a couple of days ago.”
“Lord Weston,” Nina scolded. “You talked to My Liege and didn’t tell me?”
“Guilty,” Tammer answered, rolling to his back and stretching.
“I missed you,” she said, leaning down to kiss Joel as she slid across his groin.
When she raised her head, she caught Tammer’s gaze from the corner of her eye and while she couldn’t quite place the look, Nina equated it to uncomfortable. He cleared his throat and sat, swinging his legs out over the side of the bed.
“Where do you think you’re going?” Joel asked, turning his head and stopping Nina’s movement. “I didn’t break in your house to kick you out of your bed.”
“I thought you two might like some time,” he said, standing. “You haven’t seen each other for a while.”
“Not so fast,” Joel said, reaching up and pulling one of Nina’s nipples with a smile. “I think now is the perfect time to start getting used to the new normal. What do you think, kitten? Want Lord Weston to stay? We have all day to have our time after he goes to work.”
“Yes, please, My Liege,” Nina said. “It’d be sort of unfair to not include him when you’ve watched us the past few weeks and he didn’t at least get to do that.”
“I think you’d like it if he did more than watch,” Joel teased, twisting the nipple he still had between his fingertips.
“Yes,” Nina said, biting her lip and nodding.
Joel pulled her down for a kiss as Tammer made his way back onto the bed and lay on his side with his head propped in one palm. One side of his mouth quirked up and relief coupled with acceptance shone in his eyes as his other hand drifted down to stroke his growing hard-on. With his hands wrapped around her hips, Joel sat forward, Nina falling between his legs in the process.
“I take it Lord Weston knows we’re not into anal action?” he asked, pushing her onto her back and hovering over her on his hands and knees, his tongue sweeping across the same paths Tammer’s had been for weeks, but the feeling much different. Joel’s mouth danced across her with intimate familiarity. There was no exploration or questions in his touch, he knew where he was going and why.
“Yes, My Liege, he knows,” Nina breathed.
As Joel wormed his way between her thighs and slid his dick through her folds, he looked up at Tammer. “I’m not into the whole crossing swords scene.”
“No argument here,” Tammer said, coming up on all fours and crawling to lean over Nina’s head with his dick bobbing over her lips. “Good way to make our girl sick. I don’t want that. Defiance is a wonder weaver with her mouth anyway.”
Joel chuckled as he slid inside her then came back on his heels, pulling her legs across his. “You have been getting to know each other, haven’t you, kitten?”
“Yes, My Liege. You did say he was in charge.” Nina smiled and reached out, lacing her hand with one of Joel’s.
Tammer palmed her nape and tilted her head back, tracing her lips with his fingertips before tapping them. “Open, please.”
Nina licked them, spread her mouth, and let Tammer slide across her tongue. When he was seated fully, she laced her other hand through his making them complete. It was then Nina’s mind was wholly free and her heart, mind, and body embraced the harmonious balance she’d been missing and didn’t even realize it.
Possessed by the only two men she could fathom spending a lifetime with, Nina let go of every doubt, concern, and worry she’d secretly harbored that this might not work and gave herself over to their hands, tongues, and mouths and set her mind on seeking, finding, and taking. Somewhere amidst the overwhelming sensations melding across the flesh lying between the two men she loved, Nina flew apart.

Love Vindicated
Steele Image, Book One
In 1980, Kyle Montgomery’s life was seemingly perfect. Heavily recruited by Force Recon fresh from the Naval Academy, he’d been working black ops for the Marine Corps for six years and was on the cusp of being promoted to Major. He was on the fast track to bigger and better things, had all the right people vetting him, and he'd married the woman of his dreams and was exploring a lifestyle which could have ended his career. With the Iranian embassy under siege and the Middle East in turmoil, Kyle was sent on a mission which would change the course of his life forever.
Returning home after three months of being invisible, Kyle finds his wife has been murdered by the very people he'd been sent to protect. And instead of the government retaliating, they hand him his walking papers with the agreement they’ll never speak of the events again. It's like Kyle never existed. His wife never existed. And the people who maimed and tortured her never existed.
Resigned to never again walk that path, Kyle opens the first Steele Image club with the thought of providing a safe haven for others like him, those who were invisible to the public and most of the government. Those who had eclectic sexual tastes. Those who would later become his allies. And his enemies. And both will drive him back to the place he’d thought he’d let go of forever to vindicate his love…
