Deception of the Demon Girl Page 18

by Eddie R. Hicks

Alice grimaced shifting her head about in a panic. “Keep your fucking voice down!”

“I’m dead in a few minutes, doesn’t matter.”

Her soft hands touched the side of my face, still covered in frost from my water attunement. “You attuned to water … how?”

“My Lux energy is gone, I’m back to the half-succubus bitch you’ve come to know and love.”

  “What happened?”

“I had to leap into the lake just to end the effect of the fire,” I said. “The water put out the flames.”

“And you burned through all your Lux trying to keep the flames active—”

Alice stopped suddenly like something had hit her. I slowly tilted my head to the side looking at her body. Her skin was turning green from the legs and arms, slowly moving toward the rest of her body.

“Fuck …” she said, bringing her green hand to her face.

“Guess my attack woke your friend up,” I snorted.

“You guessed right.” Alice’s hand brushed through her long hair, stopping when it hit a tree branch that sprouted from her head. She was becoming a Dryad again. “Our bodies will be one soon, and it’ll know what happened.”

“Can’t you, like stop it? You still have partial free will, right?”

“Maybe, maybe not,” Alice said. “Remember our encounter in the club?”

I thought about that night when I confronted her. She had the chance to fight me, even when she was walking circles around me, but opted to send the Mandragora instead.

“You didn’t kill me when you had the chance,” I said.

“That’s because I didn’t want you harmed, the Dryad did, so our desires conflicted—”

Alice gagged for a moment, her green hand holding onto her chest that had begun to change.

“I might spare you again,” Alice said. “Or, I might tell the rest of the fae of your plans.”

She was half-converted to a Dryad at that point when she moved on all fours to my resting body looking down at me, her busty chest dangling near my face. She shut her eyes, and with hesitation said. “You gotta take me.”

My sore right eyebrow rose. “Where?” I stopped when I saw her face flush and then turn green a second later. “You wanna fuck? Right here in the open?”

“You have your succubus powers back, right?” Alice said. “And, well, you absorbed Lux from my parents to get in. So … take some of mine to stay alive.”

She was right. This was my ticket back into the game. Let out my succubus half and bring her to an epic climax with what little strength I had left, taking just enough Lux energy to suppress my Umbral and stay alive. And if I could charm her … maybe that will entice the Dryad to go easy on me when it takes control of her.

The frost and icicles that covered my body vanished and the longing for lust and pleasure floated to the surface. My succubus half was a caged beast that got unleashed, a giddy laugh of excitement left my mouth.

I got out of FBI attire in fifteen seconds; you’d be surprised how fast you could move when sex was just second’s way, as with death, unless you got sex. Alice being naked already made things easy as I damn near pounced on her, kissing her furiously.

“Go easy,” Alice said. “I … also never been with a woman—”

I guided her onto the grass back first, as our lips were inseparable for a moment, while my tongue touched hers.

“And honestly,” she continued when I pulled my lips away from her. “Had no plans to, until now … yeah.”

“Well if you take too long to get off, then the Lux around us will kill me,” I said, sliding my fingers down from her shoulders to her breasts. “I need you to come real fast, sweetie.”

“Yeah, I don’t think that’s going to happen.”

“Close your eyes and imagine I’m a guy that loves to eat pussy.”

I kissed her again, hoping my charm worked to at least keep her head calm and cool. After that, I kept my left hand gently massaging on her left breast, while I licked her nipple on the right. I felt the heat from her body increase on my face. The movement of her chest rising up and down also upped in tempo.

I worked my way down across her belly which had finished turning green, planting random kisses in the process. Both my hands spread her legs apart when I found what my mouth had been searching for. My thumbs spread her opening up, and my head went down, my tongue had a clit to search for.

She moaned for a bit, but that was it. I needed her to climax, that’s when I’d get a nice surge of Lux back in my body after consuming a bit of her soul. Until then I kept my head down low.

The clock was ticking. She didn’t climax, and if she didn’t soon either I’d be dead from Lux poisoning, or the Dryad would have taken control of her body. Timing was everything at that point. If my charm didn’t take hold fast enough, then I might be in for a fight when the Dryad realizes what I’m doing. Everything was hanging on my ability to get her off, consume her soul, and absorb her Lux energy.

Alice’s hips swayed back and forth, up and down. I was making progress, so I held on for the ride. Her body trembled, her hands gripped onto the grass below us, holding it tight, eventually pulling it out from the ground. I felt her aroused soul become free for my next meal. I wanted to indulge and savor it, but time was running out. I needed her Lux energy in me.

The pain I was feeling diminished slightly, the first trickle of absorbed Lux energy entered my body. It gave me the strength and willpower to put my fingers in her, even though I could tell by the deep breathing she was making she’d rather a quick break, but I needed this. One more climax should do the trick.

  “Oh … fuck!” she yelled.

That did it. I felt my Umbral energy get suppressed once again, replaced with Lux energy. I was becoming a fake fae again, in more ways than I expected.

Getting to my feet, I saw my hands change color, green to be exact. My hair turned to branches and leaves and don’t get me started on how my insides felt. When I looked down at Alice, I saw that she had transformed into a Dryad, and had been since I got her off. I didn’t just absorb her fae Lux energy, I took the energy from the Dryad.

She sat up with a satisfied smirk on her face looking up at me.

“How much of Alice is in there?” I asked.

“Shut up,” she said, standing up to join me, and then held my shoulders. Her face leaned forward with a quick kiss. “You’re amazing by the way.”

She kissed me again, and again, the charm had taken effect. Both Alice and her Dryad that shared her body were loyal to me. She was down for round two. I was too, but my human half objected to it, she wanted to finish where we left off, rescuing the missing people.

But my human half was in the cage now, and I had every mind to ignore her and take advantage of this lovely Dryad woman pressing her large bust chest against my frame as she embraced me. To hell with it all, I needed more. I grabbed her ass during the embrace, her tongue glided up and down the side of my neck.

“So now what?” I asked her.

“Now,” said an unexpected voice from behind. “You two get some fucking clothes on and we try again.”

  It was Emily.

The shock of seeing her alive and well made my succubus thoughts fade. My head was straight again. Right, we had a job to do.

“Emily,” I said, grinning to her.

Emily was dressed like I was not long ago, wearing an FBI getup. Her tail wasn’t visible, likely tucked away inside, as the cap that hid her cat ears. It’d explain how she lasted so long in the park, as she looked just like one of them.

“Heard that ruckus you started back there and followed the possessed FBI,” Emily said, tossing my FBI outfit on the grass back at me. “Wasn’t expecting you two to be wasting time exploring each other …”

“I needed the recharge from her,” I said.

Emily rolled her eyes. “Sure you did.”

“I can absorb Lux energy,” I told her then flaunted my appearance, slowly turning green and plantlike. “It’
s the only thing that’s keeping me alive in here.”

I went to get dressed, when Alice slapped the uniform away from me, sending it to the ground.

“Dryad don’t wear them,” Alice said. “Clothes will block out the light. As a Dryad, we’re still plants and need to photosynthesize. It also makes it easier to take in water if it rains.”

That’d explain why she was hanging out in the pool at the club when I found her. She wasn’t taking a swim, like all plants, she needed to be watered.

I looked down at my green and plant-like body, once the transformation had finished. My tattoos were gone now that I had plant skin. I really hoped they’d come back after all this. I sighed. “I gotta rock out with my pussy out then, huh?”

“Oh, God,” Emily said, looking away at us as we stepped forward. “What did I get myself into?”

“Better question,” I said, looking at her, unaffected by the Lux. “How are you still alive?”

Emily shrugged. “Probably because I’m a Yōkai?”

Alice didn’t seem convinced judging by the wince she made. “It’s more than that,” she said, moving closer to Emily, giving her a careful up and down look. Emily got hella uncomfortable about that. “You’re a fae.”

“Shut the fuck up,” Emily and I said at the same time.

“You are,” Alice said to her. “You’re half fae from what I can sense.”

Emily placed her hands on her hips. “I’m half Bakeneko!”

“And half Cat Sith,” I finished for her.

“Cat Sith are a class of fae,” Alice said.

“Shit …” Emily said, and then got real silent for a moment, her face shifting through emotion after emotion. Emily had been around for centuries, and it was only now she was learning of her origins. I could only imagine what she was going through. “Half fae …” Emily said slowly. “My father …”

“Never told you,” I said. “Guess we need to find out what happened to him now more than ever.”

“That would explain why she was able to break the hold,” Alice said. “Remember? When she was in the tree? Her fae half must have triggered it.”

Emily’s hands went through the ninjutsu mudra motions, a pair of kunai burning with flames appeared her hands. She looked at them puzzled and asked. “How come I can’t use fae magic?”

“You spent years harnessing the power of ninjutsu,” Alice said. “You must have suppressed the fae abilities that you didn’t know you had at the same time.”

As nice as the last-minute reveal was. We had to get going, Alice and I taking time out to fuck, only bought me more time, not the others.

“Let’s get going,” I said. “Emily, I’ll fill you in on the—”

“I’m kinda having a moment here, Reika!” Emily exclaimed.

“That’s nice,” I snorted. “But we’re on the clock here. I got at best a few more hours before I revert back to myself, assuming I don’t use any Lux energy to start with. We need to shut this shit down before that comes.”

“Why don’t you just fuck her again?” Emily said. “Don’t let me stop you from frolicking.”

I left Alice alone for a moment, dragging Emily away from her hearing.

“My charm isn’t going to last, and once it fades, she’ll become the evil plant bitch from the club we fought with,” I whispered to Emily, then pointed at my green skin. “I turned into a Dryad now, and I can’t use any of my succubus talents until the Lux in me runs its course. We have to break the link with her and the tree.”

If we took too long and the charm faded before we destroyed the trees, then Alice would stab us in the back. The new plan needed to go in motion now and it needed to not fail. And that plan? It was to make things up as we went. There was no time to think things through, only time to move out, fight to free the captured civilians, and take out every Dryad tree we could find.

I gave a nod to a charmed Alice; it was time to head out. Emily wasn’t so quick to follow us. She was still sulking about the news her mother and father failed to share with her. I had to scream her name four times before she snapped out of it and followed us along.

Emily’s head wasn’t in the game. Shit like that will get her killed.

  Chapter Thirty-One

The inferno we created earlier was still raging, smoke rising up in the air like the gates of hell opened up in the middle of Central Park. Standing watching the fires was the three of us, me Emily and Alice. I still hadn’t gotten used to being a Dryad or having branches and leaves for hair. Even when I looked at my reflection in the lake we had left, I didn’t look anything like myself. It was an advantage I’d have to use.

“Looks like they’re still recovering,” Alice said, pointing at the Dryads struggling to put out the flames.

Emily dusted off the FBI getup she had on and stood ahead of me asking. “How do I look?”

“Don’t smile and show your teeth and I think you’ll be fine,” I said to her.

“I know we’re making this up as we go,” Emily said. “But do we at least have a basic idea on how to pull this off?”

“We all look like the enemy,” I said, shifting my sights back to the burning trees ahead. “Emily, lure the FBI away. Make some bullshit up that you know where I am. Alice and I look like Dryads now, so here’s hoping nobody knows what’s up.”

A few of the civilians Alice tried to escape with had been recaptured, and rounded up, their bodies ready to be turned into tools of war.

  “Ready?” I asked the two.

“Not even close,” Emily said, shaking her head. “But like you said, we’re on the clock now.”

We moved out, Emily taking the lead first, marching over to three agents on patrol. Alice and I kept on walking to the living trees, looking like the sexy plant vixens from the fae world. Nobody suspected a thing as we approached, not even the newly grown Mandragora that sprung out from a patch of fae flowers.

Emily got the attention of the patrol fae FBI with her arms waving at them. I turned away and kept my eyes forward, a Dryad like me shouldn’t care what Emily had to say.

“Hey,” she said to the agents. Her voice was all agony-filled like she was in a lot of pain. “Araya … she got the jump on us up north.”

“Shit,” I heard one of the agents say to Emily. “You okay?”

I heard Emily reply. “Yeah, yeah, but Todd and Smith are down.”

“Which way did you say?” the agent said.

“Follow me,” Emily said as the sounds of her feet moving across the grass came next. “They shouldn’t have gotten too far.”

I could only guess that Emily led them away after that, as the fading sounds of several other footsteps were heard in the background, all moving up north. Nobody with guns was near us at that point. It was just me, Alice, Mandragora and the Dryads. Just a bunch of people limited to using earth magic, an element we were all immune to.

I gave Alice a look when we neared our target, the bubbly smiles she was giving me were gone. She wasn’t super chatty either, wanting to stroke my arms. My charm was fading on her fast, and as long as I was stuck in this form, I had no means to charm her again. Once that faded, her Dryad half would start to question why they went along with the plan. I’d be at the mercy of the limited control Alice had over her body to survive.

Most of the walking Dryads were busy trying to recover what flowers they could from the fires. Their backs were turned when the two of us stood ahead of one of the living trees that remained free from burns, the one I couldn’t get to because the FBI fae starting shooting at me.

Alice placed her hands on the tree’s massive and wide trunk. It began to glow yellow, while its branches moving like arms arched upward to the skies, green and yellow glowing fireflies moved away from her hands as she pulled them back. I was about to ask what she was doing until I noticed at the corner of my eye the Dryads that had been around us, turn to face us. Wasn’t sure if Alice was betraying me because the charm faded, or not.

  “Alice …” I m
uttered to her slowly.

“Chill out we’re good,” she said as the Dryads walked away, vanishing over the hills. “We’re first to get taken by a Dryad remember? That makes us their leader. They’ll have to obey us so long as they’re in range of our tree.”

“Well, shit, why didn’t we do that earlier?”

“Because we’re a Dryad now,” she explained as we moved to round up the disoriented civilians. “We could only communicate with our tree and the others in this form.”

It was a calculated risk, but necessary since we didn’t have any other options. If the charm faded now, Alice will order the Dryads she sent away back since the living tree she shared her body with would want that.

The rescued people we rounded up were full of gleeful thanks. Others begged us to find friends and loved ones they insisted were still inside, probably part of the moving group of Dryads. We’d have to burn down the last of the trees to get them free, but first thing was first, get these folks out, and then we figure out a way to cut down a tree, when Alice and I were walking talking tree women ourselves.

It was a lengthy trek, but we made it to the edge of the barrier with its trippy rainbow colors. Freedom and the rest of the city awaited those that crossed it. One by one, we waved the rescued civilians through the barrier. It looked like they were vanishing into nothing. When the last of the rescued stepped through, Alice stood with a confused look on her face.

She looked down at her green hands. “What the fuck are we doing …?” she asked.

The charm was fading. She was questioning her recent actions.

I rested my head on her shoulder, trying to be all sweet and sensual. “You want to help me remember?” I kissed her neck, not that it would strengthen the charm, though it might make her remember the fun we had not long ago.

“Uh …” Alice said though it didn’t sound like my kiss had any effect. “Right, because?”

I stood behind her, stroking her waist, teasing her thighs. Her fine ass cheeks pressed against my front, warming me up and getting me slightly wet as I embraced her from behind. “Because you’ll do anything for me,” I added.
