Obsession and Sacrifice (Alaska #2) Page 33

by Tiffany Carmouche

When you begin this book, make sure that you have plenty of time to sit and read. Trust me, once you start it you will NOT want to put it down. I will be impatiently waiting for the third in the series to come out. Tiffany Carmouche has done a fabulous job at telling Nichole’s story and I cannot wait to see where this adventure will go next.

Obsession and Sacrifice, by Tiffany Carmouche, is an intense follow-up to The Imposter. Immediately picking up where book one left, we follow Nicole’s journey as she struggles to cope with the events of her past and her confused feelings about the two men in her life. Throughout Nicole’s battles, she has the additional concern of fighting for survival in a world where she’s not too sure who she can trust.

Once again the author, Tiffany Carmouche, takes the reader along a passionate, romance fueled adventure filled with palpable suspense, drama and action. We closely follow the three main characters which successfully allows us to bond and identify with them all. It’s impossible not to feel a connection with characters who are so creatively and realistically constructed.

Tiffany Carmouche impressively weaves together a narrative complete with heightened tension, compelling the reader to pick up the pace and turn the pages as quickly as possible to be able to keep up with the rollercoaster of action. The reader is left with an element of satisfaction, in addition to yet another cliffhanger that will no doubt leave the reader shouting a little at Tiffany Carmouche’s signature ending.

Obsession and Sacrifice is a romantic suspense of epic proportions.

The first book was beautifully written, the characters were easy to follow and the emotion was intense. I wanted to read this second book of the trilogy immediately. Now that I have read Obsession and Sacrifice, it kept to the promise that the second book in a trilogy should keep. It begins right where it left off with Nicole in the hospital. Surrounded by love…(but she is not sure who’s), and the continued journey of this young woman. The emotions are all there; excitement (in every way), sometimes worrisome, along with laughter and crying that Nicole and the people around her (yes..Dylan and Brad) venture through.

It is a good read. You won’t want to put it down. You know how you want a book to end but you want it to last forever…well I can’t wait to read the last book in the trilogy, but I don’t want the story to end. Tiffany Carmouché please say there will be more…..

  Awaiting breathlessly for number three.

Tiffany has done it again, with her second book “Obsession and Sacrifice” Intrigue, Deception, Romance and the beauty of the rugged Alaskan landscape… are the settings for her masterpiece of writing.

Her characters lives entwined in a web that binds them together through their a journey unraveling old family secrets, and keeping one step ahead of a sociopathic killer, out to destroy them all.

You won’t want to leave this book once you start it, an amazing well thought out and played out story that will leave you wanting more.

  Love triangle at its best!

Love triangle used to be my favorite element in a book, but after all the years it just seemed overrated and lacking in the “WOW” factor, Tiffany Carmouche most definitely reminded me why I used to love Love Triangles in the first place, and the most surprising part, I love both the male characters (Dylan and Bradley) so much that I wanted Nicole to be with both of them (and I always pick sides). The twists and turns in book two definitely had me gasping and trying to get my head to process the sudden twist (especially for what happened with Dylan and Nicole’s relationship). I have to admit, Dylan, Nicole and Bradley nearly reduced me to tears. I admire Dylan and Nicole’s relationship because Dylan was so protective and caring towards Nicole, I love Bradley and Nicole’s relationship because they are best friends. Decisions, Decisions.

Of course, the best thing about the series is the *goosebump* factor. If book one made you shiver, book 2 undoubtedly doubled the standards! That’s how *psycho-ed* the killer is.

Alaska has never been warmer! (that will be my tagline for the series!)

  The Impostor

The Impostor, A Love Story The first book in the trilogy.

WOW!!! I am speechless. I can honestly say that I have no words to express what I am feeling right now about this book. This was better than a movie, they need to make this book into a movie! I actually had to come back to myself because I could have sworn I was in Alaska. I was upset at the end when there was no more pages to turn. I can’t wait to find out what is going to happen. Just so you know I am TEAM DYLAN. Thank you for taking me on a adventure Tiffany. I felt like I got on that plane with you and left to Alaska ;-)
