Alessandro
The sound of little feet hit my ears as I entered the house. A giggle rented the air. “I’m going to get you,” Isabella called out.
Just then, my little son, Alessandro, rushed toward me. I scooped him up in my arms and pulled mommy’s phone from his hands. “Hello, my little one. Is this why I couldn’t call your mother?”
“Alessandro, you’re home!” She came up to me, wrapping herself around the both of us.
“Mama play.” I kissed his temple and looked down at my stunning wife, whose cheeks were flush.
“Are you well, amore?”
“Yes. Just tired. Someone didn’t want to nap today, and now it’s too late.” She yawned.
“How about you go lay down, and I’ll play with him? You can barely keep your eyes open,” I said, handing her phone back. It definitely needed to be wiped down. Someone had sticky hands.
“Thank you.”
“Mama’s going to take a nap, so we’re going to have to be quiet.” At three months pregnant, she was feeling the fatigue that came with pregnancy, and I hated it when she didn’t get enough rest. Our boy was a lot to handle. He had energy for two, but Isabella didn’t want a nanny. She said she was home, so why did she need one. We already had a chef and a housekeeper. He was hers to care for and care for she did. I loved how amazing of a mother she was. She was a much better mother than I was a father.
I bent down with Alessandro in my arms and kissed her belly. He wanted to follow suit and kissed his little sibling as well. “Rest, my sweet Isabella. I’m going to take our son and show him his future land. We need to have another man to man discussion.”
“Have fun. I love you both.”
“We love you too.” I kissed her softly and pulled away before I forgot all plans and took her to bed myself. Being away from her all day drove me insane. I longed to hold, kiss, and worship her until we were both sated. Later, I’d wake her up pleasantly, but for now, my son and I needed to bond.

Killer Abs
I killed before, and I’d kill again. One look at the new chef in my kitchen, and I knew I’d kill anyone that even looked at her perfection with nothing but respect. The position had been a temporary job. However, the second I walked through the kitchen door, forever was all I had on my mind.
She didn’t belong in my world with all her sweetness, but there was no way I’d let her go.
She was mine to keep and mine to protect.
