It's Logan Graham, lead guitarist of the insanely popular Scottish rock band. A man used to getting anything he wants, whenever he wants it.

Chapter One
“I think you’ve had enough.”
Olivia Dane looked up as the bartender’s hand closed around the empty glass she’d just slid across the bar toward him. Instead of filling it, he slid it out of her reach.
She shook her head a little too emphatically. “I’m fine,” she insisted, making a futile grab for the glass. “Totally fine. Really. Just give me another drink.”
“I don’t think so,”
“Sam. Right? Your name is Sam.” She gave him her brightest smile. “See? If I were drunk I wouldn’t remember your name.”
He shook his head, chuckling despite his unforgiving expression. “Lady, I’m wearing a nametag. Your logic’s a bit flawed.”
“That’s a—” Olivia cast around for the word and couldn’t find it. “’m a law-yer,” she informed him firmly instead. “I know what’s logical.”
“Uh-huh,” the bartender agreed, turning away from the bar with her glass still in his hand.
“Hey!” Olivia protested. “I wasn’t done with that.”
“Look. I’m just—”
“I think she said she was wanting another drink,” a low voice interrupted
Sam turned around, the stern look on his face replaced by an over-wide smile as he recognized the voice. “Oh. Mr. Graham. I’m sorry. I didn’t realize.”
Whoever had spoken was standing close enough that she could feel the heat of him soaking into her shoulder through the thin fabric of her shirt. Olivia turned—wobbling a little on the barstool—to look up at him. “I’m not with you.”
“Sure you are,” The man flashed a grin at her. “Or you are if you want another drink, anyway. Come on. My treat.”
Olivia rolled the idea around in her head a little. Another drink would be good. And the guy wasn’t exactly bad looking. Actually, he was pretty damn good looking, even in the dim light of the bar, and it couldn’t hurt to have a bit of a chat with him.
“Yeah,” she said. “I’m with you.”
His grin widened, pleased. “Let’s go find a nice quiet corner, then, and we can talk.” He nodded to the bartender and took Olivia’s elbow, pausing to give an order over his shoulder. With easy grace, he helped her off the barstool, steadying her when she almost stumbled at getting back on her feet, and led her over to a secluded booth.
“So,” Olivia said, pulling her elbow from the man’s grasp. “I’m with you. And you are?” She squinted at him. The more she looked at him, the more she was sure that he looked familiar, but the back corner of the room was even darker than the rest of the place, and—if she had to admit it—she was maybe more than a little tipsy. Still, his name was on the tip of her tongue.
“Logan Graham,” he said. Damn, that rough brogue sounded good rolling off his tongue. “Nice to meet you, miss...?”
Logan Graham. Where had she heard that name? It was... Olivia looked up and realized with a flush of heat in her cheeks that he was watching her, one eyebrow raised, waiting for her to reply.
He was a singer. That singer who’d been all over TV lately, front man for the biggest rock band to come out of Scotland in the past decade. Revolution. No. Revise... Revival! That was it. And he was still waiting on her answer.
“Oh. Crap. It’s Olivia! Olivia Dane. Sorry.” She offered her hand, feeling a little ridiculous for not realizing who he was sooner.
“Nice to meet you, Olivia.” He chuckled, and the sound went all the way down her spine. “Please. Have a seat.”
She drew her hand back, and slid into the booth just as Sam appeared, depositing a bottle and two glasses on the table. The liquor inside was deep, red-toned amber, gleaming in the faint light. Logan poured them each a few fingers and tipped his glass toward Olivia as he sat down.
“A toast, then. To making new friends.”
Olivia tapped her glass against his, sloshing a bit of the liquid onto the table. “To new friends,” she agreed.
She took a drink that burned in her throat, and sputtered a little, staring at the glass. Whatever he’d given her had a faintly fruity scent to it, and the taste of vanilla and citrus lingered on her tongue.
“What is this?” She took another sip, rolling the liquid around in her mouth. The slower sip had a hint of cinnamon with the orange, and this time she expected the delicious burn.
“Whisky,” Logan answered. “Specifically, Macallan 1965. It’s a favorite of mine.” He smiled at her, a softer expression than the exuberant grin he’d offered earlier. “It reminds me of home. Do you like it?”
Olivia considered. “I think so. But I don’t drink much. And definitely not whisky.”
Logan laughed. “It’s an acquired taste, but once you get used to it you’ll never want anything other than a single malt Scotch again. And always Macallan, if you can get it. But maybe I’m a bit biased.”
He leaned forward, then, as she took another careful drink, h
is elbows on the table. She felt his eyes on her and looked up to meet them, then away again, flustered. One hand started to lift, and she dropped it back to the table, resisting the urge to give into the old nervous habit and bite her nails. She thought she’d finally outgrown that, but under his intent gaze her old insecurities were quickly resurfacing.
“So what’s a pretty woman like you doing drinking all by yourself in a hotel bar?”
Olivia bit her lip, determined not to spill her life’s story. At the least, she wasn’t going to share the sorry chapter she was in the middle of. He was, after all, a perfect stranger. And a world-famous rock star on top of hat. What did he even want with her? But, looking into those yes, she thought she saw genuine interest. Not just the uninterested stare of someone making idle conversation, or the smug surety of a guy who knew he could get whatever he wanted and was just hitting on her for a laugh, but an actual desire to hear her answer. And that opened the floodgates. She burst into tears.
The leather bench of the booth sank under new weight, and then there was a warm arm around her shoulder, and Olivia found herself leaning into the support of Logan’s broad chest.
“I’m sorry for whatever I said,” he offered, sounding genuinely contrite. “I didn’t mean to upset you.”
Olivia sniffled, groping in her purse for a tissue, and shook her head. She felt strangely sober, suddenly, the warm haze of alcohol dispersed by the rush of emotion. “It’s not your fault. I- I’m sorry. It’s just been... a really sh—lousy day.”
“Do you want to talk about it?” The words were gentle.
“Not really. No. It’s just...” And the tears started again. Logan’s hand patted a little awkwardly at her back. She turned toward him, opening her mouth to speak, but ended up burying her face against his shoulder instead. He held her as she sobbed, rubbing the space between her shoulder blades until she’d recovered her composure.
