When Wolfe Calls Page 3

by Dahlia Rose

She anticipated the feel of him inside her, but he did not give her that pleasure quite yet. His fingers trailed on her pussy, up and down in slow deliberate movements. Barely rubbing over her clit, he then teased the entrance that she longed for him to fill. Her body shuddered again, under his control. She tried to move her body to coax his fingers deep inside her, and each time he pulled away only circling and teasing the sensitive outer flesh.

“Please,” Vicki whispered. Her head tossed restlessly on the think carpet. She heard a log in the fire pop and the flames that crackled like the passion inside her. “Put it inside me, Wolfe.”

“Look at me,” he ordered. “I want to see your eyes.”

Her eyes snapped open and their gazes connected. His hand was on her smooth mound, and she raised her hips. His finger slid into her slick opening until he had it buried, and the knuckle of his other finger pressed against her clit.

“Oh God yes!” she cried out, and he kept that slow pace until she begged. “Harder I need more!”

“You are so wet,” he said.

He was just as excited at her response, and how he touched her excited them both. He was using two fingers now, sliding them deeper, faster, and her head fell back in ecstasy. The excitement built inside her like a pot over heating, going from simmer to boil. She spread her legs wider taking more of his fingers. With every breath she moaned, and her hands clutched at the carpet.

“Let me see you come for me, sweetheart.”

Vicki bit her lip, and her body rose to meet his fingers as she reached the pinnacle. She arched tight like a bow, and she screamed while she orgasmed. His fingers and hand was dripping with her juice, and she slumped back against the carpet trying to catch her breath. He growled a low predatory sound that made chills run through her.

  “On your knees,” he commanded.

Vicki felt like jelly as she moved to do his bidding. She looked up and licked her lips. The danger outside was far from her mind. This man who shared his body with that of a wolf had her in his den of desire. The yearning he brought out from her made her wanton, and there was nothing he could ask right now that she would not do.

“Suck me again,” he commanded. “Make me come with your mouth.”

She licked the tip of his cock slowly then ran her tongue down the erect shaft. Inch by pleasurable inch, she took the entire length of the smooth shaft in her mouth once more. She sucked his cock with a little pressure and with a smooth motion. Her tongue always moving, she sampled his rod while he slid in and out of her mouth.

“Ahhh yes, suck my cock. You do that so good. Show me how much you want me,.” Wolfe moaned.

She could feel the muscles of his thigh flex under her hands restlessly as her lips worked to pleasure him. His groans of need drove her to quicken the pace, and she used her hand to stoke his steel hard shaft. He tangled his hands in her hair to keep her head still. Then he began to fuck her mouth pumping his cock between her lips. Vicki moved her tongue against him every time he pushed between her luscious lips. His groans turned to growls, and she had the first taste of his seed on her tongue when he came.

He pulled away and looked down at her. Vicki licked her lips like a satisfied kitten who had a bowlful of cream. Wolfe got to his knees with her and turned her around so that her ass was against him. One of his hands ran down the flat surface of tummy to the apex of her thighs where he rubbed her clit. She was already moaning in excitement when she felt the tip of his cock against her pussy. Wolfe rubbed his cock up and down from her ass to the wet slit of her pussy. He grabbed her curvaceous hips and rammed his cock deep inside her.

The primal need took over and the sensual torture was over. Vicki cried out in delight at the pure hot dirty fucking. The noises they made were raw and animalistic, and as their bodies met, the sound was of wet carnal gratification.

“Oh fuck yes, Wolfe!” Vicki chanted over and over again, as he took her.

She came one orgasm after the other like the ocean waves as they hit the beach. Her pussy was so wet her juice ran down her thighs. He smacked her hard leaving a sting, all the while pounding himself into her. And she cried out and arched back against him. The sting of his hand against her skin heightened her excitement.

He spanked her again with two sharp slaps. “Is this how you want it, rough and hard? Tell me this is how you want it!”

“Yes, I like it, please more…. more!” Vicki could hardly speak the mix of his spanking was a potent blend to her senses.

She could hear his breathing above her, the harsh cry that escaped his lips while he fucked her. Her plea pushed him over the edge, and with a growl his body released, giving her what she wanted to feel. His hot seed spilled inside her while she pushed against him. His body fell against hers, and for a moment they laid still trying to catch their breath. Vicki turned to face him, and when she put her hand against his thigh she felt the dampness on the bandage on his leg. She looked down to see a pool of blood forming.

“Wolfe, I think you broke your stitches!” She moved quickly to grab the first aid kit. “Oh God, I’m so sorry, we should have waited until you were healed.”

He took her hand before she could even remove the bandage. “It was worth every last stitch breaking.”

The grin on his face was priceless, and Vicki laughed. “You’re incorrigible.”

“I know,” he said and winked.

Even with danger keeping them inside, Vicki couldn’t help the light feeling in her heart. As she cleaned up his leg they talked and laughed until sleep overtook them both. As she slept no nightmares plagued her while Wolfe’s strong arms held her close.

  Chapter Four

Wolfe looked on as she slept. Her breathing was deep and even, and her full lips were parted. She was an amazing beauty whose spirit showed on her face. What she went through would break some. He had seen it happen. But she didn’t let it hold her down or keep her steeped in fear. Even when she was screaming at those men through her window she never let them see her cower. If they got in, he had no doubt she would have fought them off as best she could.

He was glad she was asleep because now he could really focus on how the hell to get them out of there. There was a sat com phone in his truck, but until he could shift he couldn’t get to it, and even then he couldn’t leave her alone for that amount of time. They were essentially stuck, and he knew the time was fast approaching where Maynard’s men would be coming back and a stand would have to be made. One shotgun and a box of shells would not make a dent in the firepower those men would be coming back with. The decision was going to be one of two options—stay to last out until he could shift, or try to run and be out in the open. Neither seemed to be a good choice.

A miracle seemed to appear when a knock came on the door. Wolfe sat up and was in a low crouch in seconds. A predatory growl came from his throat. He scented the air, and a frown creased his brow. That was not the scent of the men who held them pinned down, it was… Connor?”

Connor’s voice came through the door. “Yo, boss, open up. I’m freezing out here.”

“Who is that?” Vicki sat up and looked around sleepily.

Wolfe stood and pulled on the sweats being very careful of his leg and not to pull out the stitches again. “The last person I’d expect.”

He moved toward the door and pushed the cabinet aside to open the door. He couldn’t see the man, but he knew Connor was there.

“Get in here and go in the bathroom while I get you some clothes,” Wolfe ordered. “Then you can tell me why you’re here.”

“I thought you would be happy to see me.” The voice came from across the room.

Vicki was sitting there wide-eyed with blankets pulled up to her neck. “What the hell is going on?”

“That’s our invisible man,” Wolfe explained. “Who was not supposed to be up here, but I’m glad to see him.”

The door opened, and a head poked out. “Nice to meet you, and thanks, boss.”

  “Close that door, Connor
,” Wolfe ordered.

“Don’t worry about clothes. If you can hand me my pack from by the door, there’s stuff in there, and I took your stuff from your truck,” Connor called out.

Wolfe rolled his eyes. “Go get some clothes on, sweetheart, and then we’ll talk after I throttle him.”

Still wide-eyed Vicki nodded and went down the small hallway to her bedroom. Wolfe went to the door and pulled in the large pack sitting there. He took out his own things including his phone and threw the bag at the bathroom.

“Get dressed,” Wolfe yelled when the bag hit with a thump against the door.

The door opened, and the bag was dragged in. Wolfe shook his head. He was never so glad to see anyone in his life, but he also felt as if his privacy was invaded. Why did Connor follow me? A few minutes later Connor came out of the bathroom looking sheepish and almost collided with Vicki coming out of her bedroom.

“Hey,” she said shyly. She looked at Wolfe. The sun will soon be up. I’ll get some coffee on.”

“Thanks.” He smiled at back her. She looked good enough to eat… again. She was wearing a pink sweater and a pair of jeans that cupped her ass. Their night of pleasure was still fresh in his mind, and her taste was still on his lips.

“Dude, are you going drool?” Connor asked.

“Okay spill, buddy. Tell me why I shouldn’t hang your invisible ass from a tree?” Wolfe snapped.

“First you have to find my invisible ass.” He raised his hand. “Kidding.”

“Don’t push your luck,” Wolfe growled and gave him a cold stare.

“Okay well I knew you were hiding something, boss. Every month the same routine,” Connor explained. “You know you should break up the monotony a little…” Wolfe fixed a hard stare on him, and Connor instantly looked uncomfortable and shifted in his seat. “I wanted to know, boss. I mean when I saw you turn into a wolf then I knew for a fact you were just like us. Why do you hide it? Are you ashamed?”

“Maybe because it was none of your business,” Wolfe snapped and stood up. “Because you are my subordinate, and you didn’t need to know that damn part of my life.”

“Or maybe you’re ashamed to be one of the freaks,” Connor said calmly. When Wolfe looked at him, he could see hurt in the man’s face and understood why.

“Connor, I run this unit because I think you all are the best guys in the world, not only because of your job but because of your gifts.” Wolfe sighed. “The reason why I hid what I am from you all is that most of our funding comes from the government. If the people who I deal with knew what I am, the fear alone would make them close us down.”

“Well hide it from them, not from us, boss,” Connor said.

Wolfe was direct with his answer. “Secrets are easily spilled in Washington for the right price.”

“You don’t trust us.” Connor nodded.

“I know who I can trust and who I can’t by now, Connor.” Wolfe paused. “I’ve known for awhile I can trust you.”

Connor grinned and nodded. “So what’s going on here, boss? I followed you in and saw most of what went down, and then I followed the guys back to where they set up camp.”

“Good, are there more of them there?”

“The ones you took a chunk outta got flown out by copter,” Connor explained. “Four others were left in their place, and they have some serious fire power. They want your friend G.O.N.E.”

Vicki came out carrying a tray with coffee and cups just as he said his last remark. Wolfe saw her hands shake, but she firmed her shoulders and came in.

“They are not going to get their wish,” she said.

“Did you hear anything else?” Wolfe asked.

“Of course I’m not the invisible man for nothing, boss.” Connor grinned and took a cup from Vicki. “Senator Maynard was yelling at them for not being able to take care of one woman and a dog. He meant you, boss. He thinks if she’s gone and he can get this land it will make him millions. The guy has been getting buckets of cash from the company that wants the land rights.”

Wolfe nodded. “I figured as much.”

“So he’s willing to kill me to get land?” Vicki said incredulously.

Wolfe pulled her close and kissed the top of her head. “Honey, men like these don’t think anyone is worth a grain of salt when millions are involved.”

“What are we going to do?” She laid her head against his chest.

Wolfe noticed how uncomfortable Connor looked at their closeness. Serves him right, Wolfe thought devilishly. Most of the other members of the unit had ended up pairing with the people they were sent to save. Connor was the only one left who was single. Well I am too, he thought, but looking at Vicki and how she felt in his arms, he sorely doubted that he would be sleeping without her ever again.

“You’re going to sit here and talk with Connor and let him turn invisible for you a few times,” Wolfe instructed and grinned when he looked offended. “I’m going to go make a few calls and see how quickly we can get some help up here. Plus put a few people on Senator Maynard’s ass.”

“You know that this is going to be all over the news, and D.C is going to be in an uproar when this comes out,” Connor pointed out. “It could bring a little bit of attention to our little club.”

“And we’re going to keep our heads low and maybe take a vacation.”

Wolfe took up his phone and walked away, but not before he heard Connor ask Vicki, “So what should go invisible first?”

“Behave!” he called out as the phone on the other end began to ring.

In a few minutes he was talking and trying to get the cavalry to their position and letting some his superiors know about Senator Maynard’s indiscretions and tactics to gain the land that Vicki now owned. By the time he hung up he had a smug smile on his face, but there was still bad news. Both Vicki and Connor looked up when he came back into the room.

“What’s the verdict, boss?” Connor asked.

“Well the right people know about Maynard, and they are going to start digging for the proof,” Wolfe answered.

“What about us?” Vicki looked up at him hopefully.

“That’s where the problem lies.” Wolf sat next to her. “There’s a nor’easter coming in. We would know that if we had communications before now. D.C is already getting slammed with rain, and it’s heading out way fast. They have to wait until the weather clears to send anyone up here.”

“And that will take…?” Connor piped in.

“The next twenty-four hours at the most,” Wolfe replied. He saw the look on her face at his words and consoled her. “We can stay safe for that time.”

Connor got the back pack and pulled up three more guns and bullets to go with them. “I took some stuff off our guys when they weren’t looking.”

“The rain is going to start coming in soon, and we need to get some firewood in here and whatever else we need. It’s light out, and those guys are going to be coming back….” Wolfe didn’t get to finish his sentence. Bullets began firing into the house, and they all had to hit the ground fast.

“Thought they’d give us more time. It’s barely eight in the morning.” Connor scrambled across the ground to the closest window to see if he could catch a glimpse of their assailants.

Wolfe’s first thought was to protect Vicki. He pulled her close under him and used the couch to protect her as much as he could.

“Eventually we’re going to hit you, lady, so how about you come on out before we come in there and make it worse,” someone called from outside. “That wolf is probably dead by now. There’s no one here to save you.”

“They still think you’re here alone,” Wolfe murmured. “That gives us the upper hand.” I’ll show them what this wolf can do, he thought angrily. They would pay for terrorizing her.

“How long can they stay out there?” Vicki cried out. “I can’t stand it lying in here like a fish in a barrel getting shot at.”

“The rain is coming. I can smell it. They can’t stay out t
here forever,” Wolfe said. “Hold on, baby, hold on.”

Wolfe held her tight as bullets whizzed by, and like he said the rain came in soon after with big droplets that sounded like a freight train outside. They laid there several minutes until the silence was heard above the rain. Wolfe got up slowly, and so did Connor. He looked around at the bullet damage.

He looked directly at Connor. “When this rain lets up, we go to work. How about you go do some recon outside.”

  Connor nodded. “You got it.”

The three of them cleaned up as best they could while the rain fell. They ate and played cards, and he could see the strain of the entire ordeal on Vicki’s face even though they tried to keep her occupied. It was late into the afternoon before the rain let up. Then he and Connor got up to leave. The invisible man went into the bathroom, and the door opened up, and even though they could see no one pass by, Wolfe knew he was there.

“You can’t even shift yet.” Vicki got up from her seat with worry etched on her face.

He cupped her cheek and kissed her softly. Meeting her gaze he spoke with intensity. “I’ll be back. You won’t ever be alone, I promise.”

She nodded and her stare was on him when he walked through the door. Even though he could not shift into wolf form, he was just as deadly as a man. He could move with stealth through the woods and with more speed than a normal man. He could also kill without a sound.

“I’ll flank then from the left, boss. We can probably take out a few of them before they figure out what’s going on,” Connor said from over his shoulder. “Their camp is at least one and a half kilos away.”

“Can you make that trek?” Wolfe asked his friend.

“I’ve done the training, I can make it.” Conner nodded toward Wolfe’s injured leg. “You good to go?”

“I’m good. We hunker down and make our move when it gets dark,” he ordered grimly. “We take them out one by one. If they get wind of us, head back double time.”
