Of course, the world of the independent author is one where you have to make hard choices. It is ever shifting, with new trends and genres, and sometimes you write a book, and it just doesn’t ‘click’. You have to be ruthless, sometimes, and be willing to step away from a series if it isn’t performing. For us authors, this is a business, as well as a creative outlet, and spending months or even years on an underperforming series can be fatal to one’s career.
That is why I am so very grateful for your support. I have a fanbase of amazing people who love the Enhanced Universe, and I only want to keep adding to it, and giving you all more of what you want.
To help me do this, please do spread the word, and look out for my latest series. I will be speaking about it on my facebook page (details below), and it would be really helpful for me, and the continuing growth of this world, if you’d help me get a good launch for the new series when it comes out.
With any luck, it’ll be a hit, and I’ll be able to build out a fun and exciting series for you. If, however, it falls flat (I’ve had this before with The Phantom Chronicles) then sometimes you have to make the business decision to bring it to a premature close, or even abandon it completely if you have to.
