A few guests still remained a few hours later. Dancing slowly while spilling drops of the drink that they were waving around in their hand. The band was growing tired, while still desperately trying to continue in a happy mood. The majority of guests had already retired for the night so no one noticed as Ryan and I slipped from the room. Racing like school children along the long corridor of the hotel, giggling as other guests eyed us as we passed.
Reaching our room, we locked the door behind us. I trembled as Ryan crossed the room. Taking me into his arms, and kissing me passionately. I had prayed for this moment for so long, only dreaming that it would ever happen.
Slowly we began to undress each other, fumbling slightly with the fastenings in our haste. Laying naked beside each other upon the bed, our clothes in a heap on the floor. The heat from our bodies warming the cool sheets as I took his member in my hand. Feeling it pulsate as it began to harden further. Using my thumb to caress his balls to excite even more.
As my hand began to move faster, I heard Ryan groan with pleasure. Matching my own as his fingers located my mound, inserting two to heighten my lust. Teasing my clitoris as my loins grew damp.
Ryan moved position so that his naked body was upon my own. Sweat was already glistening upon his skin as he inserted his penis inside me. Moving slowly and gently as he hit against me gspot, causing me moan with desire.
I felt him slide tightly back and forth. Ryan’s hardness gripped within me. We kissed passionately as we began to pant hard. Both of us eager to reach out climax. Throwing back our heads in ecstasy when the moment arrived.
Resting under the covers beside me, Ryan kissed my shoulder as he wrapped an around me. With a smile, I stroke his cheek. I had never felt so happy in my life, and I was relishing in being in my new husbands arms.
Thoughts of Wayne briefly entered my mind, but I quickly pushed them away. I loved Wayne, but my feelings for him were nothing in comparison to how Ryan made me feel. I wasn’t sure what to do, but I had some serious decisions to make about me life.
Book Two: A Teacher’s Terror
Chapter One
Snow was falling heavily as I opened the large glass door and entered the diner. Shaking the flakes from my coat before hanging upon one of the hooks beside the counter. Sarah was already there waiting for me. She smiled as I slide into the booth opposite her.
“So Amy, how are you?” she asked.
Picking up one of the menus, I couldn’t help but grin broadly. I hadn’t had the chance to tell her about becoming Mrs Wolfsan yet, so I eagerly told her of the ritual. That Ryan and I had made a commitment to each other, and how we had admitted our love for one another. Sarah’s mouth fell open with shock at my news.
“Wow Amy! But what about Wayne?”
“I really don’t know. I know I have to make a decision about our relationship. But I just want to enjoy being with Ryan for now,” I admitted sheepishly.
We fell silent as a waitress took our order. As she left the table to pour our coffees, Sarah lent forward with a look of concern on her face.
“If Wayne finds out, you know how angry he will be don’t you,” she pointed out.
“I know Sarah, but I don’t intend him to find out. I’m being careful, I promise,” I reassured her.
Smiling at the waitress as she placed our drinks before us, I welcomed the warmth of the liquid as it slid down my throat. I loved the snow, but hated the bitterly cold wind that was blowing today. I clutched the warm mug in my hands, the heat transferring to my cold fingers. With a bowl of hot beef broth in each hand, the waitress served us our lunch.
After eating, I headed back to the college. Although there were no students in today due to the weather, I still had lesson plans to organize. Settling behind my desk I shivered in the cold room. Struggling to write with numb fingers.
I looked up as the door opened, smiling as Ryan entered the room. Quickly I crossed the floor to greet him. Pressing my lips against his passionately as he took me in his arms.
“How are you my love?” he asked softly.
“Better for seeing you,” I blushed.
“I was wondering if you would be at the house tonight. A couple of the younger ones are celebrating their birthdays so we are throwing them a party.”
“I would love to come. If I can get away, I will be there,” I promised.
Ryan left me to work after kissing me again, closing the door quietly behind him. I tried hard to concentrate, but found it hard after seeing Ryan. The emotions that he stirred in me were overwhelming. Every nerve within me tingled from the briefest of his touch. My knees weakened whenever his lips met mine. All I wanted was to be by his side.
My thoughts moved to Wayne. He was the complete opposite of Ryan. Wayne still hadn’t found a new job. Simply lazing around at home, not seeming to care about our mounting debts.
Each day when I arrived home my heart sank. Having to begin cleaning and preparing the evening meal. It infuriated me that Wayne wouldn’t do more about the place. But I was reluctant to mention my frustrations for fear of causing an argument.
Since losing his job on the building site, Wayne’s temper had grown worse. I had always known that he was quick to get angry. Yet nothing had prepared me for the fury he was beginning to show. Throwing things, smashing furniture and threatening me. I was now living in fear of him. Though I was reluctant to admit the reality to anyone, not even Sarah.
I wasn’t sure how Sarah would react if I told her the truth about things with Wayne. Whenever she asked, I simply smiled and said that everything was fine. Lying by saying that he was looking for work. When in fact he had done little to secure a new job. Saying that he wasn’t prepared to work for any of the local companies as it would mean accepting a lower salary. All I could do was sigh, hoping that the situation would change soon.
Deep down I knew that my marriage to Wayne was doomed. The love that I had once had for him had faded long ago. Now all I could do was look at him with contempt. The man that I had married had been strong, work motivated and fun to be with. The only thing that I could say about Wayne now was that he was a slob, and not a very nice person. He had grown nasty, bitter about losing his job. Yet he wasn’t prepared to do anything about it.
While Wayne lounged on the couch, I snuck up to our bedroom. Lifting the phone, I quickly dialled Sarah’s number. Whispering into the receiver to ask if I could tell Wayne that I would be visiting her this evening. Although she disliked Wayne, Sarah hated lies. Even so, she reluctantly agreed. I thanked her before ending the call, breathing a heavy sigh of relief.
“You out again tonight then.”
I jumped at the sound of Wayne’s voice. I hadn’t heard him coming up the stairs and was a little startled. Trying to appear casual, I turned to him with a smile.
“Yes, Sarah invited me during lunch today. I just don’t think that she likes being in her apartment alone sometimes,” I said with a light chuckle.
“And have you thought about what your husband wants?”
Stunned, I was unsure how to answer as Wayne came further into the room. Seeing the mean glint in his eye, I took a step backward.
“You don’t consider that I don’t like being here alone all the time do you? A wife should be dutiful to her husband. Those were the vows that were made when you married me. Do you understand?” Wayne sneered.
“I…I’m sorry. I didn’t think that you would mind,” I stammered nervously.
“Well I do mind. So you can just ring your precious friend back and tell her that you can’t make it tonight.”
“But I have already told her that I would go.”
“I don’t care! I am your husband and I am telling you that you can’t go,” Wayne roared.
I flinched away from him as he eyed me menacingly. Wayne had never hit me before, but I had never seen him look so angry before. And until now there had been nothing said when I went out on an evening. I was shocked by his sudden reaction and wasn’t sure what had caused it.

Wayne picked up the phone and passed it to me. Standing and listening as I rang Sarah back. She sensed the quiver in my voice and quietly asked if everything was alright. Though I reassured her that things were fine as Wayne was looming over me, I longed to tell her the truth.
Chapter Two
After finishing my call with Sarah, I reluctantly joined Wayne in the lounge. We settled on the couch, Wayne flicking through the channels to find a film for us to watch. As I sat and considered what he had said earlier however, I did begin to feel guilty. I was spending less and less time with him, which was clearly upsetting and angering him.
As the film began, I took a sip from the glass of wine that I had poured. Resting my head against Wayne’s shoulder, I realized just how long it had been since we had done this.
When we had first married, Wayne and I had been inseparable. I had actually enjoyed spending time with him. Watching films, or just generally chatting about the day that we had had. Now, it felt strained and forced. I tried my hardest to concentrate on the screen before me, yet my thoughts kept drifting back to Ryan.
I had been looking forward to seeing him tonight. To join him and the family in their birthday celebrations. Yet I was trapped here. Unable to leave without rising Wayne’s suspicions. He had already forced me to cancel my arrangements with Sarah, or what he thought I had organized. So there was no way that I could leave the house now.
My heart ached as I imagined Ryan’s smiling face. The dimple showing in his left cheek as his sapphire blue eyes sparkled. Missing the feel of his strong arms around me. His lips against mine as he held me tightly against him.
Wayne rose from the couch to get himself another beer from the fridge. I looked at him as he left the room, wondering where the man was who I had fallen in love with. He brought through the wine for me, refilling my glass with a rare smile. We had been so happy once, it pained me that things had gone so wrong between us.
Wrapping his arm around my neck, Wayne pulled me toward him. Kissing the top of my head as he settled back into his seat. I knew that I should feel happy from his sudden show of affection, yet it simply made me feel even worse for not being able to admit my true emotions to him. I hated lying to him, but was struggling to find a solution to the situation I know found myself in.
I knew that if I told Wayne that I had met someone else he would fly into a rage. And he certainly wouldn’t make the divorce easy for me. He had turned into a nasty and selfish person of late, and would be adamant that I be paid to pay. Not just financially, but emotionally as well.
Secretly I had been praying for some time that Wayne would end the marriage. Then I wouldn’t have to take the responsibility for it myself. I knew that this was the coward’s way out, but it would make things so much easier.
I was dragged from my thoughts as Wayne moved to look directly at me. He had a deep look of worry upon his unshaven features which filled me with nerves.
“Are you alright Amy?” he suddenly asked.
“Of course I am,” I replied with a slight laugh.
“You have grown distant. Even more so lately. I know that I am still unemployed, but I am trying love,” he said quietly as he took my hand in his.
“I know you are Wayne. I’ve just been worried about the bills,” I explained.
As I looked into his chocolate brown eyes, I saw tears begin to well. I wasn’t sure if it was genuine emotion, or the effects of the alcohol he had consumed during the night. Even so, I took him into my arms. Letting his head rest upon my chest as I stroked his hair. Uttering soothing words that everything would be alright as he sobbed gently.
Standing suddenly, Wayne took my hand and led me upstairs. Deep down, I didn’t want to be intimate with him. But how could I refuse without causing an argument, or worse. He was my husband at the end of the day.
After undressing, we slipped under the warm covers. Our naked bodies entwined as he kissed me long and hard. The roughness of the stubble irritated my mouth, yet all I did was screw up my eyes and remain silent.
Wayne began to rub my breasts, a low groan issuing from deep in his throat. I tried to respond, but was reluctant as I began to stroke his large member. Feeling it harden in my hand. Pulsating as his own excitement grew.
Moving me to lay on my stomach, Wayne inserted himself from behind. Due to not being aroused myself, I was dry and he felt tight inside me. I buried my face into the pillow to prevent myself from calling out in pain.
Yet Wayne didn’t notice my discomfort. Lifting my ass higher so that he could thrust himself deeper. I gripped the covers as he slapped my ass cheeks, pulling me back onto him as his pace grew faster.
I could hear his deep pants as Wayne took a handful of my hair, pulling back my head and causing me to gasp with surprise. He had never done that before, and again it hurt me. Biting my bottom lip, I prayed it would be over soon.
As Wayne reached his climax, he thrust hard and deep into me. I could feel his warmth surge within me as his whole body shook from the release. Flopping on the bed beside me, he gave me a wide smile. He slapped my thigh before planting a brief kiss on my cheek and turning onto his side.
It wasn’t long before Wayne was snoring heavily, causing me to give a heavy sigh. I lay beside him, silent tears running down my cheeks. I felt so lost and alone, longing to be with Ryan. I wasn’t sure how much longer I could keep up the pretence that I was currently living with Wayne. I had to find my nerve and end this sham of a marriage and be with the man that I truly loved.
Chapter Three
In my classroom the following morning, I looked up as Ryan came into the room. He sat on the edge of the desk, looking at me fondly.
“It was a shame that you couldn’t make it last night my love,” he whispered.
“I’m so sorry. I just couldn’t get away from home,” I explained sadly.
Tipping my chin upwards, Ryan gazed deeply into my eyes. A look of concern crossed his face.
“I wish that you weren’t already married Amy. That you could be with me always.”
I couldn’t prevent the tears that began to stream down my cheeks. All the pent up emotions flooding forward as I saw the care in Ryan’s eyes. He looked shocked as I burst into uncontrollable tears. Unable to stop even when he embraced me tightly.
Though I longed to confide in him, I knew that he could do nothing to help. It was down to me to resolve the situation with Wayne. Then Ryan and I could finally be together.
We both jumped as our colleague Mrs Snow came into the room, a pile of files under her arm. She looked at us curiously as Ryan let me go and I began to dab at my eyes with a tissue.
“Sorry Mrs Snow, having one of those days,” I laughed as cheerfully as I could.
“Oh I’ve had plenty of those,” she smiled.
After passing me the files that she carried, Mrs Snow left the room with a nod. Looking at Ryan desperately, I wondered if she had sensed anything between us. He stroked my arm reassuringly.
“Don’t worry. She doesn’t suspect a thing. Although there may be some gossip among the staff later,” he smiled gently.
“How can you be so sure?”
“I just know,” Ryan laughed as he tapped the side of his head.
I couldn’t help but laugh, my sombre mood instantly lifted. Composing myself ready for class, I gave Ryan a brief wave as he left the room. I didn’t know how, but Ryan and his family always seemed able to sense things a lot more than average humans did. They knew what people were feeling, and could predict their reactions and thoughts. It was a trait of theirs that I was still learning to understand, though it was a comfort.
Once my lesson was over, I headed to the canteen for lunch. Selecting a warm stew from the menu, I settled at one of the many tables. The room was a hive of activity. Students milling around and chatting with their friends while they ate their meals. Noise levels high as the sound of laughter rang through the air.
As I spooned some of the stew into my mouth, Mrs Snow took a seat
opposite me. Mr Cooper soon joining her with his own tray of food. I gave them a smile as I greeted them. We often sat together at lunch, yet I had an instinctive feeling that they were preparing to ask me something. My instincts were proven right as Mr Cooper gave a light cough before he began to speak.
“You and Ryan appear to have grown close since he joined us Amy.”
“Yes I guess we have,” I replied quietly.
“It is nice that my teachers can get along so well. It creates a good atmosphere for the students,” Mr Cooper continued mysteriously.
I raised my eyes to view him with wonder. Waiting with the spoon paused before my mouth, wondering how he would continue. Yet he simply fell silent, continuing with his own lunch without another word on the subject.
The conversation at lunch was still prying on my mind when I arrived home at the end of the day. It was quickly forgotten however when I realized that Wayne wasn’t home.
There was a note on the kitchen counter. A brief scrawl to say that one of friends had offered to take him out for a free drinks, and he had obviously jumped at the chance. I breathed a sigh of relief. Now I could go and see Ryan for a while, knowing that Wayne wouldn’t be home for hours.
Racing upstairs I showered and changed. Checking my reflection in the full length mirror before heading my out to the car. Taking the short drive to Ryan’s, my heart was pounding in my chest. I was filled with nerves knowing that I was going to see him.
The gravel on the drive crunched under the wheels of the car as I pulled to a stop. Before I could get out the large oak door flew open, Ryan stood in the light which shone from inside the house. Opening the car door, I crossed the drive to meet him. Taking the hand that he offered I stepped inside. Welcoming the warmth from the chilly night air I gasped as our lips met. My mouth opening slightly to allow his tongue to search for mine.
“I’m so glad to see you Amy. I had hoped you would make it tonight,” Ryan said with a smile.
