In addition to her personal training and experience for nearly two decades in remote areas, she has been working for the past seventeen years as a conservation officer with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. Before becoming a conservation officer, she worked for twelve years as a canoe ranger warden in Quetico Provincial Park, a large wilderness park in northwestern Ontario.
In her free time, Terry has backpacked and hiked in the mountains of Alaska, Montana, and Wyoming. She enjoys snowshoeing, skiing, and summer kayak expeditions with her husband.
