It couldn’t be. After he taught Jack a lesson, I was pretty sure he was one of the most courageous men in the whole town. If he was a Mister and was looking for a little like me to care for, then he would have already told me that.
I played with my toys for a little while, pitching one action figure against the other. I loved One Piece and Dragon Ball Z, so I had Vegeta fight Nami. It was a pretty intense fight, but in the end, Vegeta won, as he should have.
A car pulled over in front of the house out of the blue, making me snap my head to the window. I rushed over to it, noticing how snowy it was outside. A thick layer of snow covered pretty much everything, and it was impressive he’d managed to get all the way here and pull over.
Before my parents took off for their trip, they kept mentioning how it wasn’t safe to go today and that they were going to have to wait a while until the snow melted. But then my mom convinced dad it didn’t matter for how long they waited. Another snowstorm was likely to hit the region, and they’d be trapped here for good if that happened.
Alas, they ended up taking off in their large hatchback and I was left here all alone with the nanny. They did tell her all she needed to know about the house and what I required of her, but I wondered if she’d managed to absorb all of that info dump or not.
I guessed it didn’t matter. Something was brewing, and I needed to tend to it. I hadn’t thought he’d just come here all of sudden this morning, when I was going to have lunch with the nanny.
Matthew Hannum, in all of his glory, and he was sporting a blue lumberjack cap. He wore heavy and thick winter clothes. His jacket was blue-checkered, and that combined with his jeans and boots reaffirmed his man-of-the-woods looks.
I caught myself drooling and bolted out of my room before the nanny realized what was going on. She snapped her head to me, saying something that entered one ear and then flew through the other. I just wasn’t in the mood to talk to her right now.
I needed to find out what it was that Matt had come here to do.
I pulled the door open with force, making snow fall off the roof. As if to tell me to be more careful from now on, it just missed him. After he looked behind, he phewed and said, “Well, hello, Cody. It’s nice to see you again. I thought you’d like to hang out with me.”
The nanny popped up behind me, trying to tell me what her name was, introduce herself to me, and the like, but I just brushed her off. “Oh, so rude,” she moaned, but again, my mind ignored her words.
It was cold to the bone outside, my mind remembering that soon it was going to be the New Year. And if there was someone I’d like to cherish it with, it was him.
“Matt, I didn’t think you were going to come.”
I wore thick, heavy clothes for the cold too. They made me look bulkier, hiding the diaper I wore. It was so well-hidden that he’d never notice it. The cold did make the city more silent than it was most of the time, but again, there was no chance he was going to notice the crinkling noise.
He smiled, his teeth so white they almost blinded me. “So… wanna hang out with me now, or not?”
The offer tempted me, which made me hurry back to my bedroom and grab my things. While rushing back to him, the nanny did attempt to speak with me again, but once more, I gave her the cold shoulder.
I shut the door behind me with so much force that more snow fell off the roof. Matt couldn’t help but chuckle, mentioning, “You really need to calm down, little one.”
Little one? I didn’t know why he’d just called me that, but it did make my heart flutter. I wished he could call me that all the time, and also make use of terms like ‘little man’ and ‘pretty little prince.’
When I entered his pickup, I said, “You have a specific destination in mind?”
“Something like that. You wanna know what it is now, or do you want it to be a surprise?”
Some might think it was rather odd of me to be going out with a stranger without anyone supervising me, but even though there was some danger associated with this, I was an adult already. What’s more, I knew Matt a little before he’d shown up to save me from Jack, thanks to how often people talked about him.
“I want it to be a surprise,” I responded.
He exhaled, something alien and yet familiar to me surging in his eyes.
“I’m going to take you outside the city, just so you know. You don’t have a problem with that, right?”
“Nope. I think it would be nice to get out of town a little.”
He smiled, turning his head to me and then taking us out of Owens. He was taking me to the only city that was within driving distance. Roseburg. It was much bigger than my home town, and it was one of my most favorite destinations when there wasn’t something I wanted in Owens.
Matt pulled over after he got to Roseburg, my eyes surveying the store standing on our left. It couldn’t be, right? I’d come here sometimes before, and even though I liked it quite a lot, I couldn’t wrap my head around what my mind was thinking. This couldn’t be his destination.
It didn’t make sense, unless the photos of baby toys from the previous night had been a prelude to this. My heart speeding up, I was already nervous and hating myself for that. I needed to be calm and composed, or else Matt here was going to begin to think there was something wrong with me.
But he just stood his hand out for me, after opening the door on my side. I took it and got out, checking out the surroundings to make sure there was nobody I knew that was going to recognize me here.
I sighed in relief. There wasn’t, though that still didn’t mean I was okay with being here. Matt stopped in front of me then, his eyes showing me that he was concerned with how I was taking this. It was the first time someone other than my parents was taking me to this kind of place, and that happened when I was just a kid back then.
“Are you feeling alright, Cody?” He asked, leading me into the building while still holding my hand. I knew I should just yank my hand away and say some things about this that needed to be said, but I just couldn’t.
Deep in my mind, I knew I wanted this and that he was making a dream of mine come true. I’d been wishing to come here again for a long time.
He showed me the inside of the store, an attendant following us. The prices in here were lower than I’d thought they were, and Matt even made an offer at some point I found impossible to resist, “Do you want to buy something, Cody? I have some money with me, and it would be no issue.”
His words shocked me, but still, all I could do was to say, “I’d like that, sir. I think I want that really big toy over there I can sit on.”
“Oh, that one?” He asked, pointing to the toy horse. It could rock, and I could sit on it and spend hours and hours just rocking. If I had it at home, it would be like having another dream of mine come true.
However, the price did demotivate me a little bit. I was aware Matt was more than willing to buy it for me, but still… what in the world was even going on in his mind? He didn’t know my age, but he was aware I was an adult and that I should have already grown out of that stuff.
I guessed that it was the gleam on my eyes that kept reaffirming to him that I craved that rocking horse toy. It didn’t take him long then to shell out the money in his wallet, hand the cash to the guy behind the register desk, and then put it in the open trunk of his pickup truck.
I was left there so dumbfounded I didn’t know how to react. What snapped me out of it was him standing by his pickup truck, quirking up a corner of his lips as told me that we were going to leave now.
I sat in the vehicle and didn’t know what to say. I guessed there wasn’t much to be said. Matthew had just taken me to a baby-specialized store, bought me one of their most expensive toys, and then treated the whole thing as if it was normal.
I had no idea what was going on in his mind, but now he made me suspect he might be a Mister after all. We didn’t know each other that well, but the truth of what he just did with me was undeniable.
Matt was h
iding something.
Chapter 6
Matt
Ipulled over by the front of his house, the nanny that was taking care of him rushing out through the front door. Seeing her like that made my heart skip a beat. She was wearing an apron. It was obvious she’d been cooking something for the two of them. Whatever happened, it appeared to be serious. And with her running out of their house like that, concern twisting the skin of her face, then it had to be a matter too serious to be ignored. For sure, it involved Cody.
And if that were the case, I needed to do something about it before he was put in danger.
During these last few days, Cody and I had been talking. I’d been talking with his babysitter too, and she was a good woman, all things considered. She was super-protective of him, and that was something that annoyed the hell out of him.
I’d made up his mind to take it easy with her. He said he’d been making some progress on that, and it seemed he hadn’t lied. She would never, ever be bolting out of their home to meet me like this if she still didn’t like him much, like it was back on her first day here. That happened no more than a couple of days ago, but I already felt the opposite was the case.
I jumped out of my pickup, pushing the door until it was closed. The babysitter halted in front of me all of sudden, doing her best to make sure she wouldn’t lose her balance and fall over face-first on the pavement.
It was snowing still, but the town hall was doing some good work with salting the snow and plowing the rest.
The nanny was wringing her hands, her mouth contorting itself as a ray of worry coated her eyes.
Seeing her like this, all I could think was that I needed to know what was getting her so concerned. I didn’t know her well, but there was no way I was going to let her all on her own like this. She needed someone taking care of her now, too.
And, where was Cody again? He always came out rushing every time I pulled over. We hadn’t been seeing each other again that long yet, but he already knew what the engine of my pickup truck sounded like.
“Is something wrong?” I asked, not trying to sound worried, but the crack of my voice betrayed me. When it came to Cody, things always got more complicated.
“It’s Cody. He just ran out of the house. There was this other young man here… I don’t know his name, but he broke into the house-”
“Wait, he broke into the house?”
She nodded, continuing, “He broke in, stole something from Cody, and then he ran after him. I pleaded with him not to chase him, but he just wouldn’t listen. Before I knew it, he was already chasing the other young man into the woods. I don’t know what’s really happening here, but I’m worried, Mr. Hannum. You know Cody has some problems when he’s all by himself.”
She was right. I needed to find him now. The sooner, the better.
“Did you see in which direction they headed off to?”
She scanned the region with her eyes, squinting them even though she wore a pair of very thick glasses. When I was her age, I hoped to still have a good vision. I just didn’t like glasses that much, and the concept of putting on contact lenses wasn’t something I thought I’d ever grow accustomed to.
Raising her old hand, she pointed with her finger toward a spot in the woods, and all I could do then was to bolt in that direction. I needed to find Cody now before something vile happened to him. I knew I was being silly about this, but I could feel as if he was in danger and that it wasn’t a question if he was going to be okay, but if I was going to get to him in time.
My heart was thumping against my ribcage. It was as if I was losing my connection, my bonding with him, and that was something I could never, ever allow to happen.
It took me more time than I thought it would, but eventually I reached a spot in the woods where there was a clearing. In the middle of said clearing stood a cabin. It was small, but it could accommodate more than two people with ease.
My feet were crunching the snow as I rushed to the house, ready to wipe the floor with whoever had done what he did to Cody. I shared this urge to keep Cody safe from everything and everyone that might harm him, and now was no different. If anything, it was one of the many things in our lives that strengthened my love for him.
Halting at the doorway, I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. Cody was standing in front of Jack, the latter holding a diaper in his hand.
Cody's diaper.
That had to be it. He'd broken into his house and stolen the diaper. I had no idea what was going on in his mind, but since seeing Cody for the first time, he'd been obsessed with him.
The smile on his face was nothing short of demonic. He looked at Cody as if he'd finally gotten him, and that he was using his newfound proof to destroy his life.
I wasn't going to let that happen, though. I was here and I was going to keep Cody safe, no matter the costs.
His eyes shot wide, jubilance overflowing out of them. Jack, on the other hand, looked concerned more than anything. With me standing in front of him now like a huge war machine, all he could do was to lower his head and look down in shame.
His demonic smile from before had long faded. He wished to pretend this was nothing more than a huge misunderstanding, but I wasn’t going to let that happen. After what he did, he needed to be taught a harsh, painful lesson.
“What is the meaning of this?” I asked him, huffing.
“I thought…”
“You thought?” I barked at him, trying to control my anger.
“I thought there was something Cody was hiding from everyone, and I broke into his house and found this,” he said, shaking the diaper in his hand.
“Ahhh, and you think it wasn’t enough the lesson I taught you before about respecting other people?”
He bit his lower lip. It was clear as day was just making up excuses to explain his shitty attitude.
Before he could do anything else, I snagged the diaper off his hand and gave it a long look. It looked just like the kind of thing one would expect Cody to wear, if he were a little. I was still not sure if he were or not, but everything was pointing out that he was.
If he were a little in disguise, then I had all kinds of plans laid out. Cody and I would have all sorts of fun together, and then he’d keep telling me I was the only man that could make him feel happy.
I needed that so much right now.
“So, do you have anything else to say in your defense?” I asked, still keeping myself in front of him as I handed the diaper back to Cody. We were going to talk about it soon, and then I’d make him spill everything out. There was no way he was keeping a deep secret from me.
“Thought so,” I growled at Jack, turning my head to Cody. “If you don’t want to see what is going to happen here, then you better get out. I’m going to teach Jack here one more lesson he’s never going to forget.”
“Then, I want to see it, but you’re not going to beat him up again, are you?”
I smirked. “Of course not. I’m just going to make him put on your diaper and then I’m going to post a video of that online. Everyone he knows is going to find out that he likes wearing diapers. And in the middle of this winter season, him doing that is an aggravating factor.”
Jack lowered his head even more, trying to make himself as small as possible. There was just one way to teach a bully a proper lesson, and it was by humiliating him in front of his victims, friends, and family.
Now, I was aware they weren’t here. This would all be so much easier if they were, but the effect I was aiming for was still going to work. Jack was going to come out of this feeling so humiliated he was never, ever going to consider bullying someone else in his life.
There was no denying this did make me feel a little bad on the inside, but still… It was all for a good cause.
It didn’t take him long to put the diaper on after taking off his pants. When he took off his underwear, I stood there watching him. I chuckled. No wonder he was so obsessed with Cody. He had a pretty small cock. Chances
were women he dated found about that when it was already too late.
His lackeys could never find out about that too, right? If they did, they wouldn’t continue being his lackeys.
I fished out my phone and turned on the recording camera, making sure his face and the diaper were going to be included in the footage. After I was done, I turned the phone around in my hand and showed him the thumbnail of the video.
It was ready to be published, and if he didn’t say the magical words now, that was what was going to happen. I’d send the video to pretty much everyone in town.
Biting his bottom lip one more time, he uttered, “Please, sir. Don’t do that to me. People would never look at me again with respect, and pretty much everyone would laugh at me. I’d have no reputation anymore.”
“And it’s going to be shattered to pieces. Everyone is going to find out that you’re nothing more than a pretty little sissy that needs to be diapered and disciplined.”
Heat flushed to his cheeks. It was Cody that had said those last sentences, and he was smiling from ear to ear. He’d gone through hell and much worse under Jack’s reign, and now he was cherishing this.
He was cherishing this moment as if there was going to be nothing like it in his life.
“Now, Cody,” I said, turning my head to him again. “I know you’re liking this and all, but you gotta remember that he’s a human being like everyone else. We don’t want to completely ruin his life. We just want to make sure he’s going to stop bothering other people.”
“Oh, but do we really need to do that? I just want to see him humiliated and kissing my toes. That’s what would really make my day.”
Jack was still keeping his head down, avoiding eye contact. I could tell he’d never faced this kind of situation before. His whole life, he’d been pampered. Now, things took a turn for the worse for him. It was one of the few moments in his life he needed to act like a man.
“So, what are you going to say right now, little man? Are you finally going to tell Cody here that you’re never going to pick on him again?”
