The Hand That Holds Me Page 19

by H. J. Marshall

Caroline kissed Maddie on the cheek and walked out the door, blanketing us in the silence of her apartment. Moving to the couch, I grabbed Maddie and put her in my lap, her legs extended across the couch and I drew her into my body and held her. The audible sign she released against my neck had me wanting her again.

Feeling her soft lips kissing my neck caused my semi to become fully hard. She began to slowly wiggle in my lap, her curves caressing my shaft through our clothes. I put my arms under her knees and stood up with her in my arms, walking toward her bedroom with a purpose. I needed Maddie naked, wet and under me.

I gently tossed her onto the bed, her small body bouncing once before she settled back, her legs spread and her body propped up on her elbows. I began to work the button on her pants, pulling them down her legs while she sat up and took her shirt off, leaving her in her light pink bra and panties.

She was a vision of perfection and she was all mine. I removed my shirt and placed my body over hers, kissing her full lips before working down her jaw and nipping at her neck. She surprised me by pushing against my chest so I withdrew from her body, immediately feeling the cold left by her absence.

“I want to taste you Lucas.” As she looked up at me, her eyes glazed over with lust.

  “You don’t have to, baby.”

“I want to.” She said as she pushed me onto my back and unzipped my pants. I helped her by pushing my pants and boxers down, kicking them to the floor. She began to kiss my neck whispering words of love in my ears before she started working down my body, her hands slowly pumping and caressing my aching cock. When she reached my throbbing cock with her mouth, she looked up at me with her beautiful blue eyes as she licked the crown, swirling her tongue around the head, moaning as she collected my pre-cum with her mouth.

The visual of my dick in her mouth had me moaning under her. “That feels so fucking good.” I said as I rubbed her upper back and head, urging her to take me into her mouth. She put her small, wet mouth on me and began to work my cock into and out, her hands pumping me with a perfect rhythm.

As she took me into her mouth, she began to suck me deeply into her, a groan releasing from my mouth as another burst of fluids leaked out of my cock. If she kept up this pace, I was going to come before I had a chance to get inside of her tight pussy.

“Maddie, I’m going to come if you don’t stop.” As I tried to pull her away. My words spurring her on as she bobbed her head up and down by thick cock, each stroke getting faster and faster as I felt the tingles start to build in my spine.

As she pushed my cock past the back of her throat, she gently grabbed by balls and squeezed, causing my orgasm to push to the surface. I placed my hand on the back of her head as I pumped rope after rope into her mouth. She pulled back to swallow and used her tongue to clean my shaft before she worked her way up my body, placing a chaste kiss on my cheek.

I grabbed her by the back of her head and pulled her mouth to mine, my tongue caressing hers as I tasted the salty remains in her mouth. The taste of my passion on her lips made me want to taste her, to fuck her, until she couldn’t remember a time without me.

I flipped her onto her back and pulled her drenched panties down her legs, her bra coming off and flying across the room as she tossed it away. I didn’t waste time as I dove into her wet pussy, her taste exploding on my tongue. I licked and sucked on her engorged clit as I pumped two then three fingers into her dripping pussy.

“Please. Please.” she chanted as her head whipped back and forth, her hips rocking against my face. I pumped harder into her and drew her clit between my lips, the tip of my tongue flicking against it until I felt her body began to shake. She arched her back, grabbed the back of my head and clamped her legs around my face as she unashamedly humped my face.

Lost in the pleasure I was giving her, she had finally let loose and screamed her orgasm into the empty room, a rush of her sweet fluids flooding my mouth. I licked her gently through the tremors and pulled back when I felt her release my head from the vice grip she had me in.

We laid on the bed, breathing heavy into the room as I felt her sit up and move toward me. She climbed onto me, her small hands shifting my still hard cock to rub against her clit until she lined up and slowly sank down, filling herself with me. The small undulations she was making was driving me crazy as she made slow love to me. Placing my hands on her hips, urging her to ride me faster, she began to pick up the pace

Her wet pussy sucked me in, tightening as she bounced faster and faster up and down my cock. Her beautiful tits bounced with every thrust as I began to drive up harder into her. Placing her hands on my chest, she shifted onto her feet and bounced like a pogo stick up and down my length.

I brought my thumb to her clit and started making small fast circles over the end of the hardened bud, her head falling back as she rode me into paradise. I felt her pussy begin to flutter as I picked up the pace and worked her clit until I felt her clamp down and flood my cock with her juices.

She moaned on top of me as I drove over and over into her, my orgasm boiling under the surface. I wanted to see her come again before I allowed myself to. “Come again for me baby.” I panted as she bounced up and down, her hips gyrating so her clit hit my pelvic bone. She began to shake and her body seized up as I felt her pussy lock down on my cock, causing me to explode inside her. Filling her with my essence and my love.

She fell on top of me, her breathe warm across my chest as we came down from our love making.

“I love you Lucas” she said as she sat up and looked into my eyes, her hand caressing my cheek and bearded jaw.

“I love you too Maddie. Forever.” As I reached up and kissed her, pulling her body back on top of mine, my arms linking around her. She was in my arms and I wasn’t ever letting her go.

We met Jason for dinner and watching him and Maddie embrace brought joy to my life. The love of my life had reconnected with her father and Jason had found his daughter, the missing piece in his life. The conversation throughout dinner was pleasant as the two of them got to know each other better.

When it was time to leave, Maddie reached up and hugged Jason again, the look of contentment on both of their faces. We agreed Jason would come to the office tomorrow so he could look over the program she had built and offer ideas on growth and potential partnerships going forward. We all wanted this to be a success, not only for the company, but for the community as well.

We arrived back at Maddie’s and I was reluctant to leave. I wanted to fall asleep in her arms and wake up with her beautiful face next to me.

“Would you like to spend the night? I know we have to be in early but I was hoping you would stay with me.” She asked shyly.

“There isn’t anywhere else I would rather be. I have an extra suit at the office so we will have to be in a little early so I can get changed before our meeting.”

“Sounds good. Let’s go to bed.”

We settled into bed, Maddie tucked into my arm, her head on my chest. It didn’t take long for her breathing to level out and I felt her body drift into sleep against me. I took the time to appraise the situation. I had the love of my life, my soul mate, securely in my arms, she had reconnected with her father, and we were starting our future together.

“Thank You God for all your blessings.” I whispered into the dark as I fell asleep, dreams of Maddie and two little green eyes boys playing through my mind.

The last few months have been amazing. Lucas and I are spending every night together, sometimes at my apartment, and others at his house. Jason and I have been spending more and more time together learning about each other and finding how we fit into each other’s lives. It was a smoother transition than I had expected when we first met. I had taken my moms’ words to heart and had faith.

We made a trip home a few weeks after meeting so he could visit my mom’s gravesite. We sat down with her, the quiet of the cemetery surrounding us, as we told her all about our lives. I knew she was smiling down on u
s as we sat there, talking and laughing at stories Jason told of the past.

We shed our share of tears that day as well. It was hard for us to be a family, only to be missing the piece that had made us whole. Her absence has always been a huge void in my life but having Jason and his connection to her made her loss feel less suffocating. He was able to tell me about my grandparents and mom’s life before I was born.

I made a promise to her as I laid the white flowers down before we left to come and visit more often. It had been a few years since I had visited her grave and I wanted to make a point to come down at least once a month. She deserved to have fresh flowers and someone to remember her.

As we walked back to the car, one hand in Lucas and the other in Jason’s, I paused to reflect on the choices that had been made all those years ago. They had led us down different paths that had converged back into one. I smiled as I squeezed their hands and continued across the silent green lawns.

Just as we were walking up to the car, I looked up into the blue sky and spoke. “I love you Mom.”

Jason stopped and looked toward the car, a huge smile on his face. He pointed to the antenna and laughed a small laugh. “She knows sweetheart. She is always around us.”

Sitting on the cars antenna was a small yellow and brown butterfly, its wigs unmoving in the sunny day. I walked up and put my finger out, the small creature flying over and landing on my hand. I moved it toward my face and she flapped her wings one time, brushing the delicate structure against my nose, as she flew off my hand and circled around Jason. He smiled and raised his hand as she flittered around his head and face, landing on his shoulder, causing a tear to fall from my eyes. She really was always around us, watching us, giving us comfort and strength.

The tiny creature flew off of Jason, came toward Lucas and flapped its wings in a silent approval before turning and flying off into the open air. We left the cemetery and headed to Aunt Lisa and Uncle Joes house for lunch. Caroline and Josh were waiting for us when we got there. It felt right to have all of my family in one place.

I had been worried about the relationship between Lucas and Josh but the two men surprised me. They began to spend more time with each other and now they meet up for drinks on mine and Caroline’s weekly girls’ night. It was nice to see the two of the embrace a friendship that they both were lacking in their lives.

I had moved in with Lucas last month and I wanted to be able to keep my connection close with Caroline. I had lived with her since I was eight years old and I would always make time for her. I had decided I was going to sign over the apartment to Caroline since I wasn’t ever there. She would fight me on this but in the end, she would accept it as the gracious person she is.

I had spoken with the lawyers and it turned out I wasn’t just wealthy… I was rich. Not that I would ever act like I was. I still drive my ten-year-old car, I haven’t been on a shopping spree, and I refuse to waste money on frivolous things. Lucas and Jason have encouraged me to embrace the wealth but I think they finally realized that having grown up on a tight budget made me plan for the future.

As I sat in the backyard of the house I had grown up in, I looked over the people I was so lucky to have in my life. A family that adopted me and loved me like their own, a friend who has supported me throughout everything, a father who has worked his entire life to make sure I would be taken care of and, the man who has made me whole.

We finished our visit and started on the road home. We had been on the road for less than an hour when Lucas took an exit on the highway I was unfamiliar with.

“Where are we going?” I asked as Caroline reached up from the backseat and secured a blindfold over my eyes. “Are we going sky diving again?” causing everyone to laugh.

“No skydiving today, baby. Just a little surprise I have for you.” Lucas responded to me as we started to slow down and I felt the car start to turn. I have faith that whatever they had to show me would make me happy so I settled into the seat to await my surprise.

After a few minutes and quite a few turns, the car stopped and I felt everyone climb out of the large vehicle. My door opened and I felt Lucas take my hand and help me to get out of the car.

I reached up to take off my blindfold when I felt Lucas mouth close to my ear. “Leave it on baby. The surprise isn’t ready yet. Just take my hand and follow me. Do you trust me?”

“Yes, Lucas. I trust you.” I said as I began to walk, his hand on my lower back, as he guided me into some kind of building. We walked for a minute until I heard another door open and the air became more humid.

We walked down what felt like a ramp when I felt Lucas stop. “Stand right there. Don’t move.”

“Okay.” As I felt him move behind me and take my blindfold off.

I slowly blinked my eyes to see where I was and I gasped as I observed where they had brought me. I was inside the butterfly house my mom and I had visited when I was little. The sun had gone down while we were driving and the entire butterfly house was draped in little white lights, showing the thousands of blue butterflies flying around us.

I couldn’t stop the tears that fell from my eyes as I looked around the glass room, flitters of blue moving around everything.

  “You remembered?”

“Of course, I remembered. When you told us the story of your mom bringing you here, I called Lisa to find out where your mom had taken you. I found out when the butterflies would be most active and planned this little visit for us.”

I slowly began to realize Aunt Lisa and Uncle Joe were here, along with Jason, Caroline, Josh and a few of our other friends.

“Why is everyone here?” I asked as I spun back around to Lucas only to find him down on one knee. He had a beautiful blue box in his hand and unshed tears in his eyes. “Lucas?”

“Maddie, from the first moment I saw you, I knew you were the one. I never believed in soulmates until I met you but now, I know they are real. We were made for each other, baby. It would be my honor if you agreed to be my wife. Maddie, will you marry me?” he asked as he opened the little box.

“Yes! Yes, I’ll marry you, Lucas.” I replied as he placed the beautiful princess cut diamond on my finger.

He stood up and engulfed me in a hug, bringing my feet off the floor as he swung me around. All of our family cheered and clapped as we embraced each other and our newfound happiness.

Jason walked over and hugged me, causing me to feel a little sad. I wished mom could be here but having my dad in my life made up some for the pain. “I miss her too.” He whispered into my ear, causing us to embrace harder. He always seemed to know when my loss of her was getting to be too much, reminding me she is always here with us.

As we pulled back from each other, dozens of blue butterflies flew around us, their wings brushing against us as Lucas settled in behind me. I knew she was here and she was happy for us. Her love transcended all.

I made my way around to the family and friends who had joined us, hugging them and thanking them for being here. Caroline hugged me and pulled back with a huge smile. “Love really does look good on you, Maddie.”

I nodded my head as I walked around the glass house, watching the butterflies flap around, landing on people and objects, their beauty unparalleled. I felt Lucas come up behind me, drawing me into his warm body.

  “I love you Maddie.”

“I love you Lucas. Today, tomorrow, and forever.”
