Slowly, I ease out of her and lay down next to her, pulling her close. Kissing her forehead, she sighs into my chest.
“Um, is it always like that? So intense?”
“I wouldn’t know, Angel, but it will always be like that for us.”
She sits up suddenly and looks down at me.
“What?”
“You’re the only woman I will ever fuck. The only woman I will ever love.”
“You love me?”
“Fuck yeah I do,” I reply as she settles back into my side.
“I love you too,” she says quietly, her voice sleepy.
Damn right. This is what it feels like when every move you’ve ever made brings you to the exact right place. My Angel is now my whole world.

Addison
I take the last piece of bacon out of the pan and put it on a plate with the others. I add a pad of butter to another pan, watching it melt, and pour in the scrambled eggs I already mixed up. I woke up this morning to Crews’ tongue doing magical things to my pussy and making me come twice before he made love to me, giving me a third orgasm. I’m sore, but I wouldn’t trade the pain for the world. It’s a reminder of what we shared. Now I’m happier and more relaxed than I’ve been in years and nothing could kill this buzz I’ve got going on.
“Angel, we need to tell your parents what is going on.”
Buzz. Officially. Killed. “Uh, no, we don’t. I thought you were taking care of it. There’s no need to involve them unnecessarily.” I say, starting to panic. I stir the eggs until they’re fully cooked and move them off of the heating element.
“What if he goes to your parent’s house before I can find the bastard? Do you want them to get hurt because they didn’t know what to be looking out for?” Crews asks.
I put four pieces of bread into the toaster and look at Crews. He’s got a point, but there’s something he didn’t think of. “Honey, if we tell them about my stalker, they are going to call the police immediately. I’m not talking about the run of the mill precinct either. My father will get the chief of police on the phone and demand this problem be taken care of. Is that what you want?” I ask and smile smugly, knowing involving the police will be the last thing he wants. He wants to take care of this his way, and his way isn’t legal. Last night when he told me who he worked for, I was surprised, but only for a few minutes. Everything makes sense now. Crews might not be on the up and up with the law, but he’s a good man, one I’m proud to have by my side.
“If you knew that’s what they would do, then why haven’t you talked to them sooner?” He asks, surprising the hell out of me.
The toast pops out of the toaster, so I turn my back on him and butter it, putting two pieces on each of our plates.
Crews walks up behind me and nestles his face into my neck and kisses me there, making butterflies flutter in my stomach and my cheeks heat. After everything we shared between last night and this morning, the smallest things make me tingle. “Angel, tell me why you don’t want them to know.” He murmurs.
I sigh. “They never wanted me working there, to begin with-”
“I couldn’t agree with them more.”
I jam my elbow back into his stomach and walk to the stove and scoop some scrambled eggs onto my plate and grab a couple pieces of bacon. Leaving Crews behind in the kitchen, I go to the dining room to eat, ignoring his overdramatic groans. The man is a beast, there’s no way in hell I hurt him like he’s carrying on in there. A few minutes later, he joins me with a plate of his own and sits beside me at the table.
“Angel, you’ve got such a giving heart. I know you want to save everyone, but maybe we can find you somewhere else-”
I shake my head. “No! I love working at the urgent clinic with Dr. Murray. Plus, if I didn’t work there, we wouldn’t have ever met.”
“If you insist on working there, I’m hiring security for the clinic.”
I jump up and throw my arms around his neck. “Thank you for not fighting me on this, at least not too hard.”
“How can I argue with your logic? You aren’t going back until this situation is taken care of, that I won’t budge on.”
I nod happily. “I can live with that.”
“I’m so glad you’re here, darling. Who is your friend?” Mom asks, pulling me into a warm hug.
I pull back and reach for Crews’ hand. “Mom, Dad, I’d like you to meet Crews, my boyfriend.” I turn and look up at Crews. “Crews, these are my parents Sara and Carmine.”
“Boyfriend? I didn’t know you were seeing anyone,” Mom says, looking at Crews and I standing in their foyer with the door still open.
“Sara, let them into the house. Come on in kids. Have a seat, and I’ll make us some drinks. Crews, what are you drinking?” My Dad asks with his hands-on Mom’s shoulders.
She smiles and moves out of the way so we can pass her and go into the living room. She closes the door and follows us in.
“I’ll have a beer if you have it, Mr. Winston.”
“You can call me Carmine, Crews,” Dad says and hands him a bottle of Stella Artois and me a glass of sprite. “Here you go, baby.”
“Thanks, Dad.”
Crews raises his brow at me, and I shrug. “I’m not much of a drinker,” I say as he’s lifting his beer to his lips and pauses. “Drink,” I laugh. “Alcohol and my body do not get along. It’s not like I have a problem with people who drink around me.”
“You’re sure?” Crews asks, and I nod. He rests his hand on the back of my neck and squeezes.
“So, what is it you do, Crews?” Mom asks.
I tense, and my eyes fly to Crews’. He winks and strokes the back of my neck with his thumb. “I’m the head of security for a private company.”
My dad’s eyes light up in appreciation. “Oh really, which one?”
“I’d prefer not to say. My employer is very, close-lipped about his company and has asked us not to share who we work for.” My dad looks ready to ask another question when Crews adds, “We had to sign an NDA and everything.”
Dad raises his hands up. “I completely understand. No need to say anything more.”
The rest of the afternoon goes off without a hitch, and my brother Drake joins us right before dinner. The two size each other up for about a minute, but when Mom says its dinner time, Drake’s attention shifts and he heads to the table. My brother is a slave to his stomach. Selfishly, I wish he’d find a woman to marry so I could have a few nieces and nephews to love on. Drake is a workaholic, he’s never even brought a woman home to meet Mom and Dad. I wonder if work is the only thing holding him back.
Mom and I start clearing the table while the guys go to my father’s office to ‘chat.’
Once the dishes are done, and the kitchen is cleaned, I go in search of my man. The door is slightly ajar, and I hear Crews speaking. I stand out of sight to listen. “You need to know, I’m going to marry your daughter. I’m sure I’m supposed to ask for your blessing, but to be frank, I don’t need it. There’s nothing in this world that could tear me away from her. I would appreciate it if you didn’t give Addison a hard time about this, though, I know how much she loves you and respects your opinions.” I get the biggest smile on my face, he wants to marry me.
“How long have you two been together? It can’t have been that long seeing as we’re just now meeting you.” Drake chimes in.
“Your sister is the only good thing in my life, besides my mama. I’m not going to let her go. I know it’s fast, but I love her, and I know she feels the same way about me. I’ll never let any harm come to her, and I’ll always treat her like the queen that she is.”
“Even though you work for a crime boss?” My father asks.
No one says anything, and I’m about to walk in to ‘save’ Crews from my brother and Dad when Crews speaks up. “How did you know?”
“Son, I wasn’t born yesterday. I can put two and two together. You want to marry my daughter, but how will you protect her from th
e life you’re in?”
My heart clenches. I’ve wondered about this too but haven’t had much time to think or talk to Crews about it. “Addison will not be involved in anything illegal, nor will she know anything that would incriminate her. I give you my word.”
“I hope you can live up to it. If any harm comes to my daughter or she is linked to anything illegal. There will be no one who can save you.” My Dad tells Crews in the most sinister voice I’ve ever heard from him.
“Addison didn’t want me to tell you and Mrs. Winston, but there’s something you need to know. For the past year, she’s had a stalker at the urgent care clinic she works at.”
“She’s what?” My father shouts.
My mom comes around the corner, and I hold my finger up to my lips. She nods and stands beside me.
“I told her she shouldn’t work there. Sara and I begged her to work anywhere else. I could have got her a job at any of the hospitals in the city, but she chose to work those streets. Goddamnit. I’m calling the police.”
“Stop. I’m already handling the situation. The only reason I’m telling you is that I’d hate for anything to happen to your family because you didn’t know to be on the lookout for someone wanting to hurt you.” Crews tells my Dad.
“When you say you have this handled…” Dad wonders aloud.
“I mean, I’m going to find him and make him disappear.” Crews says coldly.
“I’m helping. What do you need me to do?” Drake demands.
Another moment of silence. “I’ll call you when I find him. That work for you?”
“Perfectly.”
The fact that the man I love, and my brother and Dad are plotting the disappearance of my stalker should probably make me feel something close to panic or fear. Instead, I feel safe and at ease about it.
Mom squeezes my hand and kisses my cheek. “You’ve got a good one baby.” She whispers.
“I know.”
Epilogue
Crews
One Year Later
My very pregnant wife is currently riding my dick like the superstar she is. Reverse cowgirl is the only way she can do it right now, so when I mentioned I hated that I couldn’t see her beautiful face anymore, she had a mirror installed on the ceiling over the bed. Problem fucking solved. Right now, her head is thrown back so I can see her, and I love it. Her long blonde hair is tangled from my hands, but the ends skim over my abs.
When we got married, I settled into domestic bliss better than I thought I would. She is the best fucking wife a man could ask for. She is adventurous and always game for anything my job may throw our way. My mom, Alma, and Addison get along well, which is great. She lives three floors below us now. Close enough to where she can be protected but we aren’t tripping over each other. The unfortunate part of being an enforcer for the Diaz family is that everyone I love is in danger twenty-four-seven, but I have the resources to protect them, and it is put to good use.
“Crews, I need to come. I missed you all day,” she says, moving her hips faster and faster. I was out at the Diaz compound all day. They had a clean-up situation that required all hands-on deck, Autumn, Alberto’s wife, and Addison excluded since they are both pregnant, but under normal circumstances, they’d both be there helping out.
Addison was more on board with my lifestyle than I ever thought she would be. I told her father she wouldn’t be involved, but that quickly changed when she realized the family’s need for her services. She has stitched more than one Diaz enforcer up in the middle of the night, without complaint. She is quite the badass. My perfect little badass. She still isn’t involved in anything that could get her in trouble with the law, even though my Angel would love to be.
Once the threat of Denny was neutralized, and by neutralized, I mean he was found floating in the Hudson, she blossomed overnight. She told me about some of the fucked up things he tried to do over the year he stalked her and he should be thankful that he’s dead. If I had known what I know now, he would have suffered more. Much more than the beating Drake and I gave him a week after the first family dinner. She should have called the police sooner, but I thank God every fucking day that I was there to save her before it was too late.
Above me, she moans again, bringing me back to the present. Fucking up into her, I give my Angel what she needs.
“Come on, be my good girl and come for me,” I growl, gripping her hips, and she does, setting my orgasm throttling to the surface. Once we’ve both come down from our release, I help her off my still hard cock so that she can lay down and rest. She’s due with our daughter in two short months. I’ve already got the nursery all set up.
“I love you,” she says as I throw the blankets over us.
“I love you too, Angel.”
I love her more than she will ever know. No other woman was ever going to be good enough for me. It had to be her, my Angel. We saved each other in more ways than one. I’ll never let her go, and I’d hate to see the bastard that tries to make me.
The beast within me was tamed by my curvy queen, and I’d kill again to protect her and our family. Just watch me.
Epilogue
Addison
How do you put into words how complete your life is? The truth is, you can’t. From the moment Crews came hobbling into my life he’s owned me. I was his, the moment I stared into his chocolate brown eyes. In the fifteen years, we’ve been married, he’s given me six children. First was our daughter Camila, then after she turned two, he gave me a set of identical twin boys Sebastian and Stephan. A year later came Isabella, then Valentina, and our youngest Mia, who is seven.
I no longer work at the urgent care clinic in Queens. As much as I wanted to continue to work there, it quickly became apparent to me that it wouldn’t work out. Dr. Murray didn’t like having security around the office because he said it kept the patients from coming in to be treated. After a couple of months, he told me either the security would need to go, or I would. I understood, but due to Crews’ position in the Diaz crime family, I couldn’t go without protection, or it would put Crews and me at risk.
It didn’t take long for me to come into the fold with the Diaz family though. They needed someone to help with wounds. I never asked any questions, just stitched the guys back up and off they would go. It felt good to be a part of something bigger than myself and to be needed in a way that Crews couldn’t give me.
As the years have passed, I’ve become an essential part of the ‘family.’ They even sent me back to school to become a general practitioner doctor at NYU’s Accelerated Med school program. It was a lot to juggle with the children, but Alma and my mom were a godsend, and I graduated over five years ago.
Family is what matters most. Family is what gets us through. Family isn’t always your blood. I have a large family, one that means everything to me. This is not the life I thought I would lead, but it’s one I wouldn’t trade for the world, and I have Crews to thank for it all.
