"So, you're telling us you only took this Pill as medicine?"
Axel stood with his hands on his hips and a frown on his face.
"You’re asking if that’s the only reason I took it, aren’t you, Axel?” She paused with a sigh, and suddenly Calix wasn’t feeling so calm anymore. Didn’t she want to have children with them? Did she not want them? “Back on Earth, I did like that it prevented me from getting pregnant. I was never one of the girls who went all maternal at the sight of a baby. I always thought I just wasn’t programed to be a mother.”
Calix growled, along with both his brothers.
"You need to toss them in the bin, love. You were born to be a mother, just as all females are. It is up to the Goddess to decide when, not us. And you will never have to raise a child alone. You have three mates, and if something were to happen to all of three of us, the clan would take care of you and our children.”

Skye had pressed back into the bed when all three of her men growled. Now Calix was shaking while he flexed his hands and fingers. Axel looked furious with his fists clenched and pressed into his hips. Owen lay still next to her but radiated tension.
