Sin Eaters: Devotion Book One Page 6

by Kai Leakes

“I’m not here for this! Let me go!” she yelled, feeling him slide his hand behind her neck.

He whispered against her earlobe, “I know.” His head tilted as firm yet soft lips brushed against her, tracing over her sensitive spot at her nape.

The quick jump of her pulse seem to excite him as he followed its beating rhythm and trailed his mouth over her smooth skin, teasing until he found her soft, plush mouth. That touch alone made her stop her fight as he deepened his kiss and his mind melted into hers. His familiar taste invaded her senses as his similar wings wrapped around her body, making her shiver with desire as his mating scent filled her senses.

Kyo knew this man so well, like she had already met him in her waking reality, but he could never see his face, only feel it. She understood that he was like her in every way, and that he was tall. She felt like a child in his arms, but only slightly.

“It saddens me that you are not here for me to teach you more about your lineage flower. I know you’re here about your fam. We’re on the same page, so stop struggling, and let me get this kiss before we go hunt. A’ight?”

His words penetrated her mind as his body molded with her. She bowed her head forward, and he rocked with her, their kiss deepening as his tongue entwined with her own. She moaned as his kiss turned into a battle dance they were both very used to.

She felt her leg slide up his hip as his kiss seemed to somehow give the impression that he was kneeling between her legs and sealing a passionate kiss against her opening flower. Yeah, he knows what he is doing, flashed in her thoughts as his dragon flew with hers.

Her lover’s tongue flowed and ebbed into her yin and his yang, making her pant against his rock-solid body. She was ready to crest, and he was ready to make her release, but she had to fight. They couldn’t mate like this tonight, yet she tasted his need and he tasted hers. They both had been without each other for some months.

Yeah, they needed this reunion, her mind said, as her diamond-hard fingernails slid over his low haircut. Her nails traced over his eyebrow, as if reading braille, and his sideburns that formed into a thin goatee, the light scraping of her nails not cutting him one bit. Her fingers continued their search, memorizing the ink-black, magnificent ruby-and-gold dragon irezumi fluidly flowing against the side of his neck and disappearing over his shoulder.

He was effectively distracting her, and she knew it. But where she wanted to run and protect her brother, her body clearly had no intention of going.

Her body shook with the rhythm he was creating per his kiss. His tongue sensually pushed and fought with hers, expertly vibrating and dipping, making sure she felt it in the core of her heat. She bucked and tore her mouth away from the dragon kiss as she came against him. His need made him seal their kiss again with her fiery, quick release.

As he held her tight against him, cradling the back of her neck, her body opened like a flower as her climax ebbed. His soft kisses at the side of her neck soothed her rising embarrassment. She felt him leave a mating bite on the back of her shoulder and neck. Using dragon heat to heal it, he sat them both on solid ground as he held her, studying her face.

His power allowed him to see her in her dreams, and the stronger she became, the more of him, she would be able to see. He smiled at the ancient power. It upset him that he wouldn’t remember any of this, nor would she, until both of their dragons, or Gargoyles as they were labeled, were ready to “awaken” or in close proximity. Hopefully, this marking would help her find him in his reality, and vice versa. He could only pray.

Looking around as they settled in the quiet, secluded park he had guided them to, the pair slid apart. Need sucker-punched her in the gut, making Kyo push her opponent against a nearby oak and slide her hand down over his swelling bulge. Wisps of rain kissed Kyo’s face and eyelashes as the skies opened and rain spilled hard and beat down on the pair. Their pulses synced and heated up their body with need, while vapors of steam sizzled from their bodies.

Unknowingly to Kyo, her dream lover studied her. She looks so beautiful when in the mating heat. Her eyes carried the lighting of the moon against its jade glowing surface as her lithe body sliced through the falling rain, making him ache with more need. Her golden dragon wings expanded with her arousal, their majestic span filtering the flickering lights of nearby buildings and cars into a soft, seductive glow around them as they brushed against his silver dragon wings.

He couldn’t help whispering against her delicate earlobe, nibbling her slightly, “Baby, come put it on me.” Reaching out to hold her hips, he groaned then hit her with a transforming spell that changed her tight black jeans into a tight short skirt.

He watched her grip the oak as he bit his lower lip. His shaft wept as he glanced at her moving up the side of the tree to straddle him, using her wings and his hands as an anchor.

Kyo leaned back, keeping her balance as she got the itch to use her free hand, and slowly searched behind her to release her dream lover’s straining thickness into the wet midnight air. His thick head sprung out quick like a blade, and she felt it slap against her rear, making her gasp with desire.

She didn’t know why she knew how to pleasure this man like this, but she innately knew him. This was her only man. He’d been in her dreams forever. He was her first when she was twenty-one, and it all happened in her dreams. It frustrated her sometimes, but not on nights like this when the lovemaking seemed so real, felt so real.

She knew what she wanted, how she wanted it, and how he liked it. She took his aching shaft in her hand, squeezing, watching his lips part with need as she slid her hips down and up, gliding him inside her yearning, waiting haven. Yes, she knew this man. The only parts of him she could see were his sexy smile and thick member. He was so delicious, made for her only, fitting her so well.

She gasped, “Yes,” as his hips met her swirling thrust, making their skin glow in the night.

Pleasure had her cradling the side of the tree. Her free hand fisted into his low-cut hair, grabbing enough to slightly pull as his hands squeezed the soft mounds of her rear and pulled them into the familiar fight of their sensual rhythm.

The rain covered them in a cooling but intoxicating waterfall spray of droplets as they both quietly battled to get the other off first. It was a necessity for each other, because who ever came first usually woke up first, and tonight Kyo wanted to make him come first.

Their descent into decadence always left her with a smile on her face and utterly satisfied in the morning, which was why she always looked forward to these dreams.

She moaned and stretched against his thrusting body as he opened her shirt and took a cinnamon nipple into his warm mouth. His dragon fangs caused an erotic friction that had her riding him harder against the oak tree. He bucked up against her softness, seeking to hit the pleasure principle of her core and heat. The pulsating tightness in his sac pushed him forward and up, until he heard the sweet, honey-coated vibration of her dragon song pouring from her lips. Her song had him seeing the rain around them slow and sparkle like diamonds in the night sky.

He held her close, inwardly begging for her to not stop, to keep going as he squeezed and pulled out of her. He saw the tears of frustration in her eyes as he captured her mouth, stood her on the ground, flipping her as she pressed her flushed face against the oak tree.

Letting the tip of his tongue trace the outside of her earlobe as she tried to turn and look over her shoulder, her wings spreadeagled in need. Anticipation made her claw at the tree when the tip of his head caressed the swell of her rear, enticing him to lightly trace her swollen lotus lips from behind.

She heard his sigh as his hand reached to stroke her belly in a lazy swirl that painstakingly found the moist, throbbing curve of her bud. She knew he loved it when she arched her back for him in this position, so she did just that, her eyes shutting at his eager strokes.

She wanted to keep her cool, but she couldn’t stop the plea from escaping her mouth as he slowly circled her bud, maki
ng her arch against his hand. Her growing need seemed to fuel his touch as his fingers dipped in and out, making her pant and bounce against his teasing head and commanding hand.

Yeah, her dream seemed to be lasting longer than ever, but she couldn’t complain at all. He was so good, she knew she was turning into a fiend. The rain slid in a slow caress down her back as she waited to see what he would do next.

Pulling her back against him as he opened her legs, he let his fingers tease her warmth as he circled his finger around her saturated bud. She was so wet, she coated his fingers. He wanted to taste, but they were outside in seclusion and soon had to return to reality, so he did what was needed for both of their sakes and entered her waiting, slick warmth. He watched her head fall back as she held on to the tree for dear life.

His sudden entry had her thanking the Most High for his gift of dreams as she felt his thrust guide her back to her climax. She didn’t want him to stop for anything. She felt his shaft swell even harder inside of her, making her legs spread wider as her ass jolted backwards to feel his sac kiss the mounds of her rear. She could feel his desperate need to go deeper, and she obliged, wrapping her legs tight around his waist as she pushed him deeper into her core.

He was at his breaking point, but he wanted to watch her beautiful, jaded eyes flash like a rainbow as she came. He heard her curse again as he flipped her and lifted her, thrusting back inside to press her against the oak. He took her mouth and gave a final dragon kiss as they both rode their familiar rhythm and came.

Dragons were known for their girth and length, so he praised the Most High that this was nothing but a dream because he knew for damn sure she’d be knocked up tonight if he had his way. Tasting the rising sun, he whispered against her calming body, feeling her thighs holding him closer as he kissed her.

He whispered, “I took care of the hunt earlier, looked after both of ya brothers. Baby, I got you when you don’t even know it.”

Her moan at being upset because she didn’t get to be the one to hunt, and of equal thanks, blended with her eager dragon kiss as she melted against his soft lips. That moment of calm made them both relax as the rising sun ended their mating dream.

The last thing she heard was her lover’s sensual drone brush against her ear, “Protect your Vessel,” before she finally surrendered to sleep.

Kyo felt her floating, hovering body fall back into her waiting bed as the sun slapped her against the face. Grumbling, she heard a crash and a loud curse in the guest room, which had her jerking out of bed with a start. She looked around confused, her bob disheveled, and the sheets around her a crumpled mess.

In that moment, before feeling as if she needed to attack, Kyo heard Sanna yell, “I’m okay. I fell outta the bed again. Go back to sleep!” She shook her head with a tired laugh.

With a groan, Kyo collapsed back against the bed, pulling her pillow over her head. Some nights Sanna would fall out of her bed, and Kyo would find her tangled up and flushed, just like she herself was right now. Damn! She knew her godsis was having a heated dream too. But, right now, she was wishing she could go back to that oak tree. Hell, she could smell the grass, the rain, and the night air. She could even still feel the man between her legs.

Frustration made her whine as she dug deeper under the covers, pushing a pillow between her legs, her mind churning.

Sanna had ended up driving to her house late last night after checking the new restaurant. Momma Tamar had demanded that Sanna check the new restaurant, so she could relax and check on her new baby. Sanna instead had bypassed her own home and crashed at Kyo’s spot, a nice little message abruptly left on her voice mail beforehand, just to let her know that she would be using her key.

Something was up with her bestie, and somehow she knew it wasn’t good. She had heard her crying all night until a calmness hit her and kept Kyo from waking her up to ask her what was going on. But she had every intention of finding out why Sanna insisted on coming over and why was she upset, once her body stopped throbbing due to horniness.

Annoyed Kyo slid out of the bed and stalked to the shower, kicking imaginary items out of the way. Yeah, they both had come hard in her dream together, but she still was frustrated, yet extremely satisfied. Passing by her bathroom mirror as she turned on the shower water, she saw her nails had dirt. She looked at her shagged reflection and frowned. A twig and leaf lay comfortably in her disheveled hair, making her feel as if she was a contented wood nymph. All she could do was slowly raise an eyebrow and stare slack-jawed. How the hell did that get there?

  Chapter 5

The welcoming heat of velvety smooth, sticky and slick wetness flowed on his hands as he studied the quietly smiling lips in front of him. His eyes flashed in the night air, and he coolly looked over the twitching, panicking Stalker as he held his prey calmly against a brick wall. It amazed him how easily they fell to fear when their own deaths, past and now present, flashed in their soulless minds and empty hearts. Their kind lived off terror, yet somehow they always succumbed to begging, pleading, and demanding that he not snap their neck. Unfortunately for the Stalker, right now he wasn’t in a pardoning mood.

This time, he was enjoying keeping the entity alive. The Stalker’s husk of a beating heart pulsed in his bloodied hands. Jaded, he took the Stalker’s claw and chewed on like it was a toothpick while he watched his prey squirm.

  He was pissed, as usual.

Sexual frustration was a bitch, and he’d just been slapped multiple times. Add that to the new stress of having a Guide whom he couldn’t figure out why she and her friend were both beacons for the Cursed and its brood. The math was playing out in his head, but it wasn’t adding up. His brief discussion with his mother had him understanding the possibility that the one named Kyo, being a Gargoyle, was also a part of his mission. That frustrated him royally. He was officially feeling as if he was in a constant car accident and wasn’t dying anytime soon.

He was at his wits’ end. That was all he could say he was feeling about it. Otherwise he would’ve had a massive headache, and he wasn’t about to stress himself like that. He needed to focus and figure this out before the Cursed took another intended for the Light. He squeezed the pulsating decrepit heart as he leaned in and tugged, causing the smirk on the Stalker’s face to disappear.

The Reaper’s voice dripped like molasses, ready to smoother and seal the very breath from the entity as he probed, “Explain to me, why are you here?”

The Stalker hissed, his fangs snapping like a dog’s as he squirmed and pushed at the wall, trying his best to get away.

Amused, the Reaper just calmly held on and watched the pitiful struggle.

Khamun had found him near his Guide’s home attempting to break the prayer line surrounding the house, but of course, he couldn’t have that, so he snatched the Stalker and pinned it up against a neighbor’s nearby garage wall.

“I can do this all night and day,” he coolly stated. “And we know how your kind doesn’t like the light, so I ask again. Why-are-you-here?” The last sentence was drawled and stressed with a tight squeeze and tug.

The Stalker tried to swipe at him again. His eyes bulged out with a hiss. Fear swallowing the entity until it finally broke his gurgled silence, “Uggg! You know why, bastard!”

“Hmmm. If I did, you would be dead already. This is not the normal snatch-and-take your kind is known for. This has turned into a battle, so again”—He squeezed and began to tear a vein away as the entity screamed.

“Just kill me!” the Stalker screamed as he tried to swing again.

The Reaper sighed. He tore an arm off, flipped it, and used the hand to point at the Stalker. The blood was so dark red, it almost looked black, painting the side of the garage.

“Ahhhhhhh! Because we need them. We need them before you take them!”

Khamun cocked his head to the side as he quirked his eyebrow. “You say that like I don’t know, so let’s try this again.”

With a drop of his hand, he tilted the
Stalker’s neck to the side and bared his diamond white fangs as they lit up in the moonlight. Drinking from a Stalker was like millions of needles shredding through its body, which made it pure torture for the victim and sure pleasure for the Reaper.

  “No, no! Wait! Wait!”

Khamun squeezed then bit down hard. Ravenous, he tore and ripped at the Stalker’s aorta as he drank ever so slowly, knowledge filling his mind. Then he saw it. He saw their plan to take his Guide and kill her friend. He saw their intention to give her the Cursed bite and make her into one of them. He saw them planning something worse for his Guide, something more than the bite. Something he couldn’t understand as the knowledge flickered. Shit wasn’t kosher. Which had him pissed. He lessened his siphoning before the Stalker could die without telling him all he needed to know.

  “Tell me!” he growled.

The Stalker made the mistake of laughing out of spite.

Very wrong move, Khamun thought as he pulled the Stalker to him. His nails dug into his prey’s skull and ripped, exposing brain matter, and the Stalker screamed in the night, its eyes rolling into its head.

With a shove, the Stalker went flying as Khamun held its pumping heart and let it go. The exposed heart seemed to pulsate as it steadily beat from his prey’s open cavity.

The Attacker got ready to ask again, but the entity spoke up fast, “She is a Vessel! An Oracle! We need her, so we can use her knowledge of your kind.”

Khamun’s mind froze for a millisecond before he could process how they could figure out something like that. An Oracle . . . his guide was a Vessel and an Oracle. This was paramount.

The Stalker panted on as he crawled, looking around for an escape. Fear sparked in his eyes as every sin he committed compounded on him, breaking his will like a twig as the Attacker wrecked his body with each sin. Each dark act the bastard had ever committed flashed before him.
