Mafia Princess (The Manning Sisters #2) Page 11

“Why is that interesting?” Chris asked.

“Because he’s in Robertson’s antique shop,” Dakota explained and all three men chuckled. “Let’s see what Robertson thinks about that little weasel being in his shop.”

Dakota sent a quick text to Robertson before looking at the dress boutique across the narrow street.

“Is that where David and the girls are?” Chris asked as he followed Dakota’s gaze.

“It is,” Dakota answered and sighed. “Whatever we do, we have to keep Morrison and his men out of that shop.”

“Yes, sir,” Chris responded and grinned when Dakota growled a little.

Before he could say anything, his cell phone vibrated on his side. “It’s Richardson,” he told them quietly. “Jackson.”

  “What is going on?”

“Not completely sure, but Morrison and some of his men are downtown today. Morrison is in your antique shop.”

“Looks like I need to rid my shop of some trash. My second in command is at the shop right now. I sent him there a couple hours ago to check on things. Let me make a phone call and then you and your boys can have some fun.”

“We are just outside your shop and ready. Our girls are inside the boutique across the street though, so please let your man know.”

“Will do, and so you know, I own that shop as well.”

“Excellent,” Dakota responded and ended the call. “Richardson is going to have his man take out the trash then we can play.”

“Sounds like an excellent idea,” James agreed and smiled.

“And Richardson owns the dress boutique so that’s something in our favor as well.”

“Great, now how do we get the girls out without Morrison and his men seeing us?”

“Haven’t figured that out yet,” Dakota told them and sighed. “Maybe getting them out isn’t the best course of action.”

“How on earth can you say that?” James asked, shock evident in his voice.

“I’m thinking they are probably safer inside that shop then they would be out of it. Maybe I can get Richardson to get his employee to close early and lock them inside. Lis will be pissed, but she will be safe.”

“Rather them be pissed than dead,” James told him and Dakota nodded.

“My thoughts exactly,” Dakota agreed and send Richardson a quick text asking if he could do that.

When he got a simple yes in response he smiled and sent David a text asking him to distract the girls so the clerk could lock up.

“Okay, now we just wait for Richardson’s man to bring out the trash,” Dakota told them and smiled a little. “This could be fun, honestly.”

“Fun?” A voice behind them asked quietly and they turned around. “This is going to be a fucking blast.”

“Hello, Morrison,” Dakota greeted as he looked at the gun pointed at his heart.

“Jackson, we meet again,” Mike said and grinned. “And this time you brought friends. How nice.”

“Go to hell, Morrison,” James spat out and took a step forward.

“I wouldn’t do that if I were you,” Morrison warned and looked at the three men in front of him.

“Fuck off,” Dakota told him and lunged.

“NO” James shouted as the gun went off. “Dakota?”

“I’m okay,” Dakota shouted as he rose to his feet and held the gun on Morrison. “On your feet, fuckwad.”

“Just shoot me and get it over with,” Mike told him and flinched when Dakota took a step closer.

“Oh no, I am not going to shoot you. Shooting you would be too easy, too quick. I want you to suffer for the hell you have put us all through,” he told him quietly. “Now on your fucking feet.”

When Morrison still didn’t move, James and Chris pulled him to his feet. “He told you to do something, fuck-face.”

“Fuck you all,” Morrison yelled out as Dakota shoved the gun in his face.

“You’re not my type, Morrison,” Dakota told him as he stepped behind him and pressed the gun into his back. “Now walk before I make it where you can never walk again.”

“You’re gonna kill me anyway, so why should I fucking do what you want me to do?”

“Because if you don’t I am going to let Rachel and Lis do whatever the fuck they want to you in the name of revenge for their parents and the time you’ve taken from all of us,” Dakota answered and watched in satisfaction as Mike paled.

“My men will never let you leave this street alive,” Mike threatened and James laughed.

“You really think your men are still in these shops?” Chris asked and grinned when Dakota’s phone rang.

“Hello, Richardson,” Dakota answered and flipped the phone to speaker. “Tell me something good.”

“Morrison’s men have been cleared from the street. I found out that he does have a business there, it’s the little deli across from the bakery David and the girls stopped at this morning. He was on his way there when he spotted David’s SUV out front and thought it might be one of yours.”

“Hear that, Morrison?” James asked and grinned.

“Jackson, you can bring him out now, the entire street has been cleared,” Richardson told him and chuckled. “Well, cleared except for my men that is.”

“Perfect,” Dakota replied and ended the call. “Let’s get you to the SUV and out of here before Lis picks out her wedding dress. Oh, Lis and I are getting married in twelve days. I would invite you, but you’ll be a little, ashy, by then.”

Within five minutes they had Morrison loaded in the SUV and were headed to Dakota’s parents’ house without the girls even knowing what was going on. They’d know soon enough, and would be very pleased with what Dakota had in mind.

  Chapter Thirty-One

“Find your dress, love?” Dakota asked as soon as Lis entered the beach house.

“Sure did. We also got the bridesmaids’ dresses,” she answered and walked over to where he was standing. “What happened with Morrison?”

“What are you talking about?” He asked, feigning confusion.

“Dakota, don’t you dare lie to me. I know you were on that street today and I know you did something with Michael, now please tell me what happened.”

“He’s at mom and dad’s house with Chris and James,” Dakota answered her and sighed. “I was planning on telling you, but wanted you to at least tell me about your shopping trip first.”

“I want to see him. Rachel does too,” she informed him and he sighed again.

“I know you do. I also want you to decide if he dies or is handed over to Ballard,” he told her and she smiled.

“You should already know that answer, but I think death is too good for him.”

“He tried to shoot me in that alley,” he informed her and watched his sweet love transform into a beautifully vicious beast before his eyes.

“Maybe I will kill him,” she told him and an evil grin spread across her face. “Very slowly.”

“Fuck, I love you,” he told her and pulled her against him.

“I love you too, but I need to do this now before I change my mind,” she replied and he nodded.

“Get Rachel and we will go.”

Lis stood on her tiptoes and pressed a quick kiss to his lips before turning and walking down the hall to Rachel’s bedroom.

“Rach, we have to go. Dakota has Morrison and is leaving it up to us what to do with him.”

“Seriously?” Rachel asked as she poked her head out the door.

“Seriously,” Lis responded and laughed when Rachel’s face lit up.

“Let’s go. I cannot wait to get my hands on that son-of-a-bitch.”

“Neither can I,” Lis told her as they walked back to Dakota.

“Ready?” He asked and they both nodded. “Okay then, let’s go.”

  “We walking?” Lis asked.

“Yes,” Dakota answered and Lis smiled.

“Good. I can look for places for the wedding as we go.”

  Rachel laughed as
they walked out the door. “You have always been good at multitasking.”

“I’m a Manning, of course I’m good at multitasking,” Lis replied and Rachel chuckled.

“Only for a few more days,” Dakota reminded her.

“Always a Manning,” Lis teased and pointed to a small cove. “That place looks promising.”

“We will look closer on the way back,” Dakota promised and ushered her forward.

“Yes we will,” Lis agreed and picked up her pace a little. “Let’s go have some fun.”

Rachel and Dakota chuckled as the followed Lis down the beach and straight to the backdoor of the Jackson’s home.

“Mike is being held in the panic room,” Dakota informed them.

“Lead the way,” Lis told him and stepped aside so he could show them.

Dakota walked past them and lead the way to the back corner of the house. “Here you are,” he told them as he entered the code and the door slid open.

Mike was tied to a chair in the middle of the empty room. His eyes latched onto Lis and Rachel as soon as they entered.

“What are they doing here?” He asked with a hint of fear in his voice.

“We came to say hello,” Lis answered and grinned. “We were both engaged to you at one time, remember?”

“Granted, our engagement was very short lived,” Rachel added and stroked a finger down his cheek. “Don’t be scared, darling,”

“Fuck off,” Mike told her and turned his head away.

“Don’t talk to her like that,” James told him as he grabbed Mike by the hair and jerked his face back to Rachel.

“Thanks, baby,” Rachel blew James a kiss then leaned down to whisper in Mike’s ear. “I have things I want to do to you, Michael. Many, many things.”

“You don’t scare me,” he told her, but his fear was evident in his tone.

“Oh?” Lis asked mockingly. “What about me? Do I scare you?”

“Fuck no. You are nothing but a spoiled little rich girl,” he replied.

“Oh really? Hmm, maybe you should ask Kiwa if that’s all I am. Oh, wait, you can’t. She’s dead.”

“Murdering bitch,” Mike spat out as his eyes filled with hatred.

“No, Michael, I am not a murderer. Your girlfriend just wasn’t as smart as she thought she was.”

“Lis, what do you think? Should we kill him or let Ballard have him?” Rachel asked and grinned.

“Rachel, as much as I would love to kill him, I think we should turn him over to Ballard and let him face charges for everything he did,” Lis responded and smiled. “That being said, we don’t have to turn him over right away. I think we should have some fun with him first.”

“Fun?” Rachel asked with a tilt of her head.

“Oh, yes, sister. Fun,” Lis told her and grinned.

“I like fun,” Rachel told them.

“Dakota, my love, will you find me a couple of razor blades?”

“Sure,” he responded and disappeared from the room.

“Razor blades?” Mike asked and gulped audibly.

“Uh-huh,” Lis responded as she dropped to her knees and removed his shoes and socks.

“What do you need razor blades for?” He asked as he watched her rise to her feet and take a step back.

“You’ll see,” she replied and grinned.

“Here you go, baby. Be careful with them. Wouldn’t want anything cut that isn’t supposed to be,” Dakota handed her the razor blades and grinned.

“Everything that’s cut will be one hundred percent intentional,” Lis reassured him and grinned when Michael gasped. “Don’t be scared. I promise I won’t do anything to that handsome face of yours. It’d be hard for you to be the prison bitch with scars on your face.”

Mike flinched at her words and they all chuckled a little. “Go to hell, bitch,” he spat.

“See you there, fuck-face,” Lis responded and took one of the razor blades from the pack in her hand. “Rachel, where should we start?”

“Wait,” James told them and darted from the room. He returned a moment later with four lemons and Rachel grinned. “Gotta keep those cuts clean.”

“Excellent idea,” Lis agreed as James cut open one lemon and handed a half to her. “Now, let’s get started. Scream all you want, Mike. No one outside this room will hear you scream.

For the next half hour, Lis and Rachel made small, shallow, cuts along Mike’s feet and legs. His screams as they rubbed each cut with lemon juice filled the room. When they were finished Lis looked at Rachel and grinned.

“James, Dakota, can you remove his pants, please?” Lis asked and Mike went completely still.

“No, please no,” he begged and thrashed a little in the chair as James and Dakota cut his pants open.

“Underwear too, please,” Rachel instructed and Mike’s breathing shallowed.

“Oh look, an erection,” Lis pointed to Mike’s hard cock and grinned. “I know you were a sadist, but a masochist too?”

“Shouldn’t shock you, really,” Dakota pointed out and Lis shrugged.

“Doesn’t really, but it does make this just a bit less fun,” she pouted a little before grinning again. “This next part will be easier though.”

“NO!” Mike shouted and thrashed in the chair.

“Oh, Mike, you should have learned to keep your dick in your pants. Now you’ll have no choice,” she told him and grabbed just the tip of his dick. “What should we do, sis?”

“I think we should make him remember every woman he ever screwed over every time he looks at it,” Rachel suggested.

“Perfect,” Lis agreed and grinned as she pressed just the point of the blade against his shaft. “This is gonna hurt,” she told him then pressed the blade in just far enough to break the skin.

His screams echoed in the room.

  Epilogue

The next few days passed quickly. Morrison was picked up by Ballard the morning after the girls had their fun with him and was immediately taken to the hospital to have his multiple cuts taken care of. The mutilation inflected on his penis was irreparable, but he wouldn’t tell anyone what happened.

The only down side was there had been no signs of Piero since Richardson’s men had taken Apollo’s wife and daughter from the safehouse he’d been holding them in. They assumed he fled the country and he wasn’t a concern.

John and Michelle had been home for over a week now, and Tatiana flew in a few days ago with her new boyfriend, Jason. Jason was a musician and a bit of an arrogant prick, but Tati seemed to really care about him so Dakota and David left him alone, for now anyway.

Today was Lis and Dakota’s wedding day so all thoughts of business were pushed aside and all focus was on the happy couple.

“Elisabeth, you look absolutely beautiful,” Damon told her as he held her arm and waited for the music to signal them to exit the tent. “Your Mom and Dad would be so proud of the woman you have become in such a short period of time.”

“Dad would have a stroke knowing I was marrying one of the security staff,” Lis countered and Damon chuckled.

“Yeah, you’re probably right,” he agreed and sighed. “He’s perfect for you though. And he’s a great man.”

“I agree on both counts,” Lis told him with a bright smile. “That’s our cue,” she added when the music changed.

“He’s a damn lucky man,” he told her as he lead her out of the tent and into the sunny cove between Dakota’s beach house and his parents’ house.

“I agree with that, too,” she told him and giggled. “I’m a damn lucky woman too though.”

When they reached the end of the aisle, Lis looked up and locked eyes with Dakota. The love she saw in them matched the love in her heart and she knew that his love for her was endless.

“My beautiful Elisabeth,” Dakota whispered when they stopped beside him.

“Who gives this woman away?” The minister asked and looked at Damon.

“In place of her Mother and Father, I do
,” Damon responded and kissed Lis’ cheek gently before turning to Dakota. “Take care of her.”

“Always,” Dakota answered before hugging Damon then stepping to Lis’ side.

The ceremony passed quickly and as Lis and Dakota spoke their vows the love that filled the air surrounding them was felt by everyone present. Once the vows were spoken, and they were pronounced husband and wife, the party moved to the Jackson’s back yard.

“Lis, you are absolutely stunning,” Tatiana told her and smiled. “Welcome to the family.”

“Thank you, Tati,” Lis replied and hugged her.

“Hey little sister,” Dakota grinned at her and tried to muss her hair.

“Do it and die,” she threatened as she darted out of his reach and laughed.

“Threats from one so small,” David teased from behind her as he captured her arms and held her against him.

“Leave her alone, you two,” Michelle scolded with a chuckle. “You’d think the boys were twelve again and picking on their baby sister.”

“Thanks, Mom,” Tiffany kissed Michelle’s cheek and bounced off to where Jason was sitting at the bar.

“You boys will never grow up,” Michelle addressed her sons with a smile that showed she didn’t mind in the least. “Now why don’t you two go help your father while my new daughter and I talk.”

Dakota and David looked at their Mother with identical grins before both kissed her cheek.

“I’ll be back in a bit, baby,” Dakota told Lis and kissed her lips softly.

“I’ll be right here,” she responded and smiled warmly as she watched him walk away.

“So, Elisabeth, have you told Dakota you’re pregnant yet?”

  “What? How do you know?”

“You’re positively glowing and it’s not the newly married glow.”

“I was waiting to tell him tonight. I just confirmed it yesterday.”

“Good,” Michelle said and smiled. “I can’t believe I’m gonna be a grandma.”

“Shh, I don’t want anyone else knowing until after I tell Dakota,” Lis whispered and smiled when Michelle put her finger over her lips and nodded.

“He will be thrilled though,” Michelle told her quietly. “He’s always loved you and wanted children with you.”
