“It’s not Ethan,” I said. “It’s Rick.”
He furrowed his brow. “Like Rick Rick?”
I swiped my thumb across the screen and leaned an elbow on the bar. “Hello?”
“Ben, it’s Rick.”
“Hey. What’s up?”
“I’m calling with an update on operation motherfucker.”
“Okay,” I said. “I’m listening.”
“You were right about this guy Simon. He’s not who he says he is.”
