“Thank you for bringing me back to the hotel, escorting me to my room and most of all,” I say as my voice chokes up, “helping me with my family home. I will be forever grateful. Goodnight”
“You’re welcome to all that but it is not good night.”
I stand and stare at him. He leans in and kisses me gently on the lips.
“Baby I let you get away once,” he whispers, “I would have to be out of my fucking head to let you go again. Now let’s get out of this hallway before I take you again right here. That wouldn’t go over well with the other guest, then again it just might.”
My vagina clenches and I open the door the rest of the way. We go inside and I drop my purse and take off the very high heels. I hadn’t been in heels like those in almost two years.
“I’ll be right back,” I say as he watches me. I go to the bedroom and shut the door. I lean against it trying to catch my breath.
“He’s here, Oh God he’s here and we just fucked in the car like teenagers. What the hell is wrong with me?! No protection again. I have to tell him the truth. No I don’t, he will flip out and be angry because I didn’t tell him. That’s a stupid reason not to tell someone they’re a father. Oh crap. What if I just got pregnant again? Oh Crap Crap Crap.”
I get out shorts and a t-shirt and slip off my dress. The door opens. I’m standing there wearing nothing. I try to get my shorts on before he comes into the bathroom. Too late, he’s standing in the door looking at me. I have one leg in the air trying to step into my shorts. I stop in mid step.
“Excuse me please,” I say trying to sound stern but wanting him to take me.
“No need for excuses,” he says so softly it feels like warm butter over me, “I like the view.”
“Well I’m closing the blinds.” I step into my shorts and pull my tee over my head. I don’t take time to put on a bra or panties. I start to walk past him. His arm snakes out and encircles my waist pulling me to him.
“I’ve looked for you everywhere. When I got back to the room and you were gone. I immediately started looking for you. You just disappeared. I never stopped looking as you can see. Baby talk to me. Why are you so angry? You left me.”
“I know and I’m sorry,” I whisper as tears well in my eyes, “I was scared and I still am. I thought you used me and left. I thought you thought I was easy and didn’t want any part of me. I had been drinking and I’m not a drinker. I had wine and Petron. I was so loopy I thought I was dreaming being with you. I was hoping it would happen because I want you so bad. When I sobered and woke up I realized it hadn’t been a dream. I was ashamed. You were gone. I thought I wasn’t any good. I was stressed about the house and my family. I couldn’t take any more pain so I left. I came to Ireland. That’s where I’ve been the entire time. I went to Derry Ireland for a few months before I came to Kilkenny.”
“Baby why didn’t you call me at least once and maybe the year we’ve lost would have been a year we had together? I still don’t understand why you’ve stayed hidden. Has something happened I need to know about?”
I have to tell him. If I don’t tell him now he’ll be angrier. I can’t keep this from him any longer.
“Deep,” I ask softly, “can we sit down? I need to tell you something.”
He looks at me hard before leading me back to the sitting room. We sit on the sofa. We turn and face each other.
“When I got to Derry I spent the first couple of months in a hotel room. I made and drew a lot of designs for jewelry. I did nothing else. I started being sick all the time to the point I had to go to the doctor. I thought it was from all the stress. It wasn’t from the stress.”
I stop and take a deep breath. I look into his beautiful eyes and tears begin to run down my cheeks. The twins look so much like him it hurts.
He tries to slide me to him. I refrain. I need the distance to tell him.
“What is it baby? Are you still sick? Talk to me. You are scaring the hell out of me right now.”
“Deep I was pregnant. I have never been with anyone before or after you. One time with you and I’m knocked up with twins. You have a son and a daughter.”
He just stares at me for a long time. He stands and walks to the window looking out at the view of Kensington Palace. He doesn’t say a word.
I sit and start to fidget watching him. His beautiful black hair needs a trim. His strong body is tense. He slowly turns and looks at me.
“Why didn’t you contact me Emily? They are my children. How could you not tell me?”
“I was afraid you would think I was trying to trap you or you would reject us. Remember we don’t know each other and I had just had my life destroyed. I couldn’t take any more pain.”
“I understand and I don’t. Does Nigel know?”
“No. No one in the states knows about Drakon and Devyn,” I whisper not looking at him.
“Drakon?” he says gruffly, “You named my son after me?”
“Yes,” I reply softly, “I hope you approve. He’s just like you and Devyn is a heartbreaker. She is just full of love and sunshine. Drak is very protective of his little sister by two and a half minutes. When Dev cries he tries to hug her and suck on her face.”
He laughs.
He takes out his phone and makes a call.
“Get the plane ready and find an airfield in Kilkenny we can land at tonight. Yes Deacon, you and Angel are coming too. We need to leave within the hour. My children are without protection and I will not rest till we get to them.”
Deep
“What did you just say to me?” the prick tries to whisper so no one else at the table can hear but he’s has too much anger in his tone to be speaking to her. “Your boyfriend!!! As long as we’ve worked together you never mentioned a “boyfriend.” I knew you had been hurt and I also knew you never dated anyone. Your assistant talks so much I always got it out of her. She said you pined for the father of your children but she thought if I was persistent I may win you. Now you tell me this is him? What kind of twisted game are the two of you playing. I think you owe me an explanation.”
“Did he just say I’m the father of her children?” I look from Angel to Deacon. Deacon barely shakes his head. I decide to listen to him and be quiet and listen to them but his tone better change quick.
“Robert please,” she begins but I have to say this then I’ll be quiet. “Look, uh, Robert that is your name isn’t it?” I ask like I don’t know to show the little prick he doesn’t matter to me, “Robert If you ever talk to her in that tone, no let me change that, if you ever talk to her again I will crush you. This is mine. All of it and you don’t get a share. You don’t touch, look, smell or see her. If you do and I find out, and Robert, I will find out, I will crush you. Do you understand?”
The fool makes the mistake of looking at Em again and opens his mouth. Dude has a serious death wish.
“No Robert, eyes here. Now I thought you were a man of reason but you are about to do what I just told you not to do where she is concerned. Now my friends are going to escort you to another area while I talk to MY woman. Understand? Don’t speak just nod your head.”
I have to say the prick has balls. He speaks anyway. What he says is about the stupidest thing he could say. Now he’s leaning across her nearly touching her breast to confront me. Angel has my arm which would be easy for me to snatch free and floor this fool.
“Are you serious? You think you can tell me what to do about my date. She never mentioned you to me because she wants a little “Rob O” time. When our date is over you can have her back. My mother told me to always be a gentleman and take my date home no matter how bad the time. Now if you’ll excuse US, I need to talk to Emily. I mean I am one of her leading clients in the sale of her jewelry.”
“Rob O?” I look at him like he has lost his mind. “Rob O” seriously? Deacon and Angel shake their heads as they position themselves to stop me. Emily leans into me and speaks softly to the fool.
“Robert please go away. This is
out of your league. “Rob O time,” No. Never gonna happen. That just sounds nasty. As for your jewelry store, you can sell my jewelry or not. I am no man’s whore and just because you sell my jewelry, and for a great profit to you I might add, does not give you any, and I mean any, rights to me. Now please just go away.” I look at my baby and tears are sliding down her cheeks. I lose it. I grab Rob O around the neck and get close to his ear.
“Live or die your choice. You just made the most precious thing in my life cry. Now you have one second to leave. You even glance her way and I will rip your heart out through your mouth. Now I’m going to let you go, pat you on the back and you will leave. That’s that on that.”
I sit back in my chair and pull Emily close. The fool excuses himself. Says he not feeling well and ask me to take Em home.
“It would be my privilege.”
“Now we have to talk,” I say quietly but firmly.
“Who the hell is this?” I ask myself as some other fool comes to the table. Time to go. No conversation will happen here. He wants Emily to meet someone.
“Yes of course,” she tells him but looks to me for approval. I like that. I stand as does Deacon and Angel. We follow Em to meet the customer who bought her jewelry. We stand behind her.
“Mr. Jones this is Ms. Emily Barton,” the host says, “Designer behind the “Emmy Winners” jewelry. Emily, Mr. Jack Jones.”
“Nice to meet you finally,” Mr. Jones says taking her hand and stroking it, “I have been a fan of yours for a while. “You won’t last any longer doing that.” I think to myself.
“You are far more breathtaking in person than your pictures. Don’t get me wrong you are stunning in photographs but the real things is superb.”
“Thank you for the compliments,” Emily replies hesitantly, “I’m glad you like my jewelry.”
Something’s strange about this dude. I look at Angel and Deacon as they move closer. They feel it to. Em is trying to free her hand and he’s holding on.
“No respect anywhere. Dude wants to die.” That’s all I can say.
Emily snatches her hand back.
“Thank you again Mr. Jones.” She says softly but firmly, “I must be going. I’m not feeling well.” She turns to me and I slide my arm around her and lead her out. Deacon and Angel hang back a bit.
“You are very welcome Ms. Barton. We will meet again. Of this I am sure.” I look back with danger in my eyes. Deacon and Angel hear and turn to him. I think this was a threat. I won’t say anything to Emily but Angela and Deacon are already on it.
“We’re done,” I mutter as I walk her to the exit, “We have to talk and I am tired of waiting.”
The car pulls up and we get in. I can’t wait any longer. My mouth is immediately on hers. She moans and melts into me. I ravish her mouth. I try to pack a year into that one kiss. She gives it back just as good. I push the button and the divider closes and blacks out. I pull her down in the seat and I am sucking on her tongue as my mouth breaks free only to kiss between her breasts. My hand comes up and frees them through the deep vee of her dress. I take a nipple in my mouth. She moans. My hand slides down to the slit in her dress and slides up. I feel her mound. It is soaking wet. I grab her thong and rip it away. Her hands are pulling me close as she grinds down on my hand. One of my hands work to free myself. When I spring free. Her hand gentle touches me and I come undone. I sit up pulling her with me. I pull her across my lap. Having her straddle me. I guide her onto my dick and surge up. Filling her to the hilt. Damn she fills so fucking good. She moans deep and throws her head back. I start a slow rhythm. She matches me. As I pump into her she brings her head down on my shoulder. I feel her walls tighten as my dick swells. She tenses and starts to rotate her hips faster. I pump harder. She screams my name and sinks her teeth into my shoulder gently. I love it. My bad girl baby. I follow her over the edge and brand her as I go. As we come down. I kiss her gently. Out of nowhere she snaps.
She suddenly pulls back, sliding to the opposite side of the car. Straightening her dress as she goes.
“No,” I hear her whisper.
“No? No what?” I ask trying to keep my cool.
“No you don’t get to do this,” she whispers “I lost my sense once, well maybe twice but not again. If you could have me dropped off at the hotel I will be more than thankful.”
“Are you loopy? Did you hit your head or drink too much?” I ask with surprise, “We just did it”
“No Drakon,” she whispers, “You don’t get to hurt me again.”
“Hurt you? Did I hear you correctly? I think you’ve kept something from me that hurts me. You said in there I was the father of twins and you think you can just walk away. Yeah. Right. Sounds Good. Not gonna happen.”
“Did she just roll her eyes at me?”
“No I am not loopy, did not hit my head, or drink too much. I don’t owe you anything. Now take me to the hotel. I’m tired and I want to lie down.”
“Yes you owe me an explanation. You said I have twins. Where are they?”
“I lied. They’re my housekeeper’s kids. I told Robert that to discourage him from trying to ask me out all the time.”
This sounds like the mother of all lies. I play along.
Her eyes well up. I know now she is hiding something.
“You lied?” I whisper, “You’re telling me I don’t have two children?”
“Yes that’s what I’m saying.”
We arrive at the hotel and she jumps out before the damn car is even at a complete stop. Now I know for sure she’s hiding something. She’s damn near running to the elevator.
“Where are you going?” she asks as we get in the elevator.
“To your room.”
“No you aren’t. I didn’t invite you.”
The elevator stops and I follow her off.
As she opens the door she turns to me.
“Thank you for bringing me back to the hotel, escorting me to my room, and most of all helping me with my family home. I will be forever grateful. Goodnight”
“You’re welcome to all that but it is not good night.”
She stares at me with that beautiful face, tears glistening in her eyes, all I can do is lean in and kiss her gently on the lips.
“Baby I let you get away once, I would have to be out of my fucking head to let you go again. Now let’s get out of this hallway before I take you again right here. That wouldn’t go over well with the other guest then again it just might.”
She lets me in. I watch her drop her purse and take off those sexy ass heels that will one day be around my neck.
“I’ll be right back,” she says and heads to the bedroom and shuts the door.
“What the hell?” I mutter to the empty room. I walk to the door and try the knob. It’s not locked. I open it. She’s not there. I walk to the bathroom door and
She has one sexy ass leg in the air trying to step into her shorts.
“Excuse me please,” she says.
“No need for excuses. I like the view.”
“Well I’m closing the blinds.”
She finishes dressing but doesn’t put on a bra or panties. Her breasts are luscious. They also stand up on their own. I wanna taste them again. She tries to walk past me. I slide my arm around her and pull her close.
“I’ve looked for you everywhere,” I whisper huskily into her hair. She smells so fucking good, “When I got back to the room, you were gone. I immediately started looking for you. You just disappeared. I never stopped looking as you can see. Baby talk to me. Why are you so angry? You left me.”
“I know and I’m sorry,” she whispers as tears well in her eyes, “I was afraid and I still am. I thought you used me and left. I thought you thought I was easy and didn’t want any part of me. She looks nervous and scared.
“Deep,” she says weakly, “can we sit down? I need to tell you something.”
I look hard at her before leading her back to the sitting room. We sit on the sofa and she faces me.
“When I got to Derry I spent the first couple of months in a hotel room. I made jewelry but I did nothing else. I started being sick all the time to the point I went to the doctor. I thought it was from all the stress. It wasn’t from the stress.”
She hesitates as tears run down her cheeks.
I try to pull her to me but she won’t move. Now I am the one afraid.
“What is it baby?” I ask gently but nervously, “Are you still sick? Talk to me. You are scaring the hell out of me right now.”
“Deep I was pregnant. I have never been with anyone before or after you. One time with you and I’m knocked up with twins. You have a son and a daughter.”
I stare at her before standing and walking to the window. I look out at the view of Kensington Palace.
“I have a son and a daughter,” I say to myself, “I have a son and a daughter.” I say it twice so it’ll sink in.
“Why didn’t you contact me Emily? They are my children. How could you not tell me?”
“I was afraid you would think I was trying to trap you or you would reject us. Remember we don’t know each other and I had just had my life destroyed. I couldn’t take any more pain.”
I understand what she’s saying but I know she feels for me what I feel for her. I know we will be together forever, she does too.
“I understand and I don’t,” I mutter, “Does Nigel know?”
“No. No one in the states knows about Drakon and Devyn.”
