Off Your Rocker? Page 13

“Oh, no I’m not. Why would I go back to Joseph when he doesn’t even love me or want me, Daddy?”

“I beg your pardon, young lady, you will not address me in such a manner.”

“Urgh,” I moan slapping the palm of my hand into my forehead and gritting my teeth. I notice Colt walking out on to the balcony, his crotch covered with a pillow.

“Delia, it’s because he is from a high society background. This is where you belong as my daughter. Joseph is from wealth and is well bred. He will be able to maintain the social status that I require from you as my daughter.”

“Daddy, I’m not going to go back to Joseph, just so I can be socially accepted. I won’t do it, do you hear me. I don’t love him and I never have. He doesn’t love me. So, why the hell would I want to go back to that dull, boring, non-existent life? You were pissed off last time because Colt hung up on you, well prepare yourself to be mighty pissed now, because this is what it sounds like when I hang up on you,” I reply and hang up the phone with a grunt.

“That went well, I take it,” Colt says with a smirk while he walks across to me.

“He can be so narrow minded sometimes,” I state. Colt stands in front of me and drops his pillow. I gasp, cover my mouth, then move in and wrap my sheet around him. He laughs and holds onto me tightly.

“Colt, seriously, there could be paparazzi anywhere,” I say making him laugh.

“Twenty stories up, doubtful, but if it means I get to put my naked body against yours, wrapped in a sheet then I’m all for it,” he beams leaning in and then kissing me passionately. His lips are so soft against mine as his tongue finds its way into my mouth. We stand outside kissing for what seems like an eternity. Eventually, we part lips and I exhale loudly.

“That’s a big sigh from a small woman. You okay?” he asks, leading me by the arm back inside.

“Yeah, I just lied to my daddy. I’ve never lied to him before.”

  “What did you lie about?”

“He asked if I was having wild orgy sex and I said no because well, I’m not having orgies, but I am having wild sex,” I say making Colt smile. “And then I lied about the drugs. I said no one was using, and well, that’s obviously not the case from what I saw last night. I just hate lying. It makes me feel like such a bad person, especially when I lie to Daddy.”

“Lia, you are the furthest it gets from being a bad person. It’s not in your nature. You’re kind, sweet, caring and considerate and those qualities in you are amazing, so don’t feel bad because you’re letting yourself live a little, okay?” he asks then gently bites my earlobe.

I nod and he picks me up and throws me back onto the bed. I giggle as he makes his way over the top of me.

“So you in for a quickie before we have to fly to L.A?”

“I don’t know, I shouldn’t really be having wild sex you know?”

He laughs. “Then we’ll just have to have quick normal sex, nothing wild about it,” he replies leaning in kissing me as I giggle. I run my hands up his muscular back as his lips move from my mouth down to my neck. He kisses and nips me so softly that it sends tingles all the way down my now hyper-sensitive skin. His body’s touching mine in every way possible. My legs instinctively wrap around his arse as he grinds his morning erection into the top of my now wet pussy. I feel the ache for him as my lower stomach surges and tightens with want for him. The feeling makes me moan softly while he trails light kisses down my neck and I arch my back into him. His lips find mine and he kisses me strongly as he moves himself into position, and with slow fluid movement he slides inside me. I moan out loud as even though he’s been inside me many times now, every time feels like the first.

“Lia,” he murmurs as he moves inside me slowly. His tongue skims across my skin up my neck and into my mouth. That was so hot, it sends a cold shiver up my spine. He slowly pushes in and draws back out even slower, making me need every inch of him. My nails dig into his back as he slowly eases back into me, he’s drawing this out and I love it. I take my hand from his back and lower it down to the pillow beside my head, and as if to read my mind he takes hold of my wrist tightly. He must know that I love it when he restrains me like that. He moans slightly as he works us both up, slowly in and slowly out and my insides begin to tighten around him. He rolls his hips into me deeper and I can’t stifle my moan as I let it all go. He rolls again hitting just the right spot. I start to quiver as an insatiable heat engulfs my entire body, that undeniable spark is going off like lightning bolts all around us. I know he’s as close as I am as he rolls again making us both moan loudly. His lips crash to mine and he rolls even deeper so I take every inch of him in. I ignite with a fiery passion as my fingernails claw into his back. He moans loudly and rolls once more hitting that spot right on my front wall and sending me over the edge into a mind blowing climax. My insides tighten hard and pulsate around his rock hard cock which immediately sends him off. He kisses me strongly as he moans out my name unloading everything inside me. He rocks back and forth a few times making sure to empty himself completely. I lay under him fully sated and satisfied. He rests his head in the crook of my neck while I unwrap my legs from around him and lay them flat on the bed. I’m completely exhausted. That was the slowest, quickie I’ve ever had, and I can assure you it was the best. His grip loosens on my wrist and his hand slides upwards and his fingers intertwine with mine. He brings his head up and rests his forehead on mine. Those bright luminous blue eyes are staring straight into me and I feel a connection to Colt that is so intoxicating, so unbreakable and so beyond anything I’ve ever felt before that I start to feel emotional. His eyes are searching mine and I can feel mine starting to tear up. He leans in and kisses my eyes just as I close them and a tear forms in each one.

“I know, Lia, I feel it too,” he whispers as he kisses my lips softly. I open my eyes and his deep blue eyes are staring at me with such an honest smile, it takes my breath away.

“I’m so happy Joseph broke up with you,” he states making me laugh.

“Me too,” I reply and lean up and kiss him.

We’re walking on the tarmac toward that stupid bloody jet and I feel my nerves kick in and start working overtime again. Colt takes my hand and he leads me up the stairs into the jet. My hands are clammy and I feel like I want to be sick. I walk inside and Tamara’s there waiting and smiles at me.

“Welcome back, Miss Norman, Mr. Slade,” she addresses as we walk through.

“Hey Tam,” Colt says as I fake a half-smile at her. Colt takes my hand and walks us back to the same seats we were in the first time. I feel my lip quivering as an image of me laying in the chair alone and crying flashes through my mind.

“Hey,” Colt whispers holding me at arm’s length and looking me in the eyes. “I’m so sorry about what happened on here last time, but baby, I swear it won’t happen again. I won’t leave you. I promise,” he says leaning in and kissing my forehead. I swallow a lump and sit down in the seat and Colt sits right next to me. He takes my hand and closes the window blind with the other.

“Hey Tam,” he calls out startling me. She walks over and bends toward us both.

“Can we get one of those relaxing pills that I was talking to you about?” he asks and she nods and walks away.

  “Relaxing pills?”

“Yeah, I asked Tamara to buy you some after the last flight. It should kick in, in about twenty minutes, so you won’t be so anxious,” he says kissing my hand.

I smile at him so brightly that my cheeks hurt. “You did that for me?”

“Of course, I want you to feel comfortable, and they’ll be here on every flight we take from now on. Only the best for my girl.”

“So, I’m your girl? Does that mean I can call you my boyfriend then?”

He exhales. “No, you know I don’t like that word. We’re exclusive, remember. You’re my girl and I’m your guy, but we don’t need to put a label on it, Lia. We know what we are to each other and our friends know what we are. Why do we need
to tell it to the world?”

“Right. Of course.” I should never have asked. Why do we do it to ourselves? Why can’t I just accept it and not ask stupid questions, because now I’m feeling even more anxious and nervous. He tightens his grip on my hand and smiles at me.

Tamara comes back with a bottle of water and a pill for me to take. “Here you go Miss Norman, this should help you for the entire flight.”

  “How long is the flight?”

  “Five hours non-stop, Miss Norman.”

“Thanks Tam.” She nods her head and walks away.

I open the bottle of water and down the pill, the quicker it works the better I’ll feel. Everyone else is finally on board and I see Tam shutting the jet door. My heart rate speeds up exponentially and my hand tightens around Colt’s.

“Lia, look at me,” he whispers calmly. My breathing is shallow as I turn my head to look at him. “That’s right baby, keep your eyes on me. I’m not going anywhere. I’m right here with you,” he says while his free hand caresses my cheek. I lean into his hand and exhale. I hear the roar of the jet engines and I instantly tense up. I close my eyes tightly and grip so hard onto Colt’s hand it has to hurt.

“Lia, open your eyes,” Colt commands. I open them and look straight into his luminous, sparkling eyes. I feel the shudder of the jet starting to move down the runway and a feeling of nausea washes over me. I take long steady breaths all the while Colt is looking deep into my eyes.

“Look at me, Lia, just look into my eyes and concentrate. Slow your breathing. I’m right here baby,” he says and somehow I think he’s managing to calm me. I look into his eyes staring right back into mine so calm and carefree. My breathing slows and my pulse goes back to normal as I sit staring at Colt. His hand is caressing my face and the touch of him soothes me. I don’t know for how long I get lost in his eyes, but I don’t care. It’s working and suddenly I feel a little drowsy as my eyes open and close a few times.

“Are the pills working, baby?” he asks softly as I come back to reality.

“They can’t be, not yet, I only just took them. We haven’t even taken off yet.”

“Baby, we took off half an hour ago,” he answers as I look around the jet.

  Holy shit!

  “We did?” I ask, confused.

“Yeah, you’ve been staring at me for thirty minutes,” he says with a smirk.

  “Oh God, I’m so embarrassed.”

“No, don’t be, I’m just glad staring at me helped.”

“So, are you serious we’re actually in the air, flying?” He nods and kisses my forehead. “I kinda feel a little bit drunk and light headed,” I tell him as I squint my eyes to look at him. He chuckles and reclines my seat. I let out a little squeal when it folds backwards so easily and he pulls out a blanket from under the seat and covers me with it, chuckling at me.

“Sleep baby,” he whispers in my ear and then kisses my lips softly. I close my eyes and then open them again. “Hey, did you know that a fish has no knee caps?” I joke making myself laugh.

Colt grins at me and chuckles. “Um, yes, I think I knew that, baby. Sleep,” he says tucking me in. I nod and close my eyes. I get comfortable and then I open my eyes again. “Oh, what if you need to answer the phone?”

He looks at me confused. “What phone?”

  “The phone in the office?”

  “What office?”

I laugh like he’s being ridiculous. “The one on the jet. What if it rings?”

He smirks. “Then I’ll answer it. Baby will you close your eyes and go to sleep?”

“Wait till the music plays in China.”

He chuckles and leans in kissing my hair.

“Do you know Colt? I know Colt, he’s really pretty and I might just be falling for him. Don’t you touch him though.”

“Okay, seriously go to sleep, Lia.”

“Oh okay, make sure the monkey knows,” I reply as I snuggle into the chair getting comfy.

“You’re not making any sense baby, sleep now.”

I wake up slowly feeling a little dopey and a whole lot out of it as I open my eyes to see Colt lying next to me stroking my hair.

“Hey, sleepy head,” he says as I open my eyes fully. I look around the room and I sit bolt upright in shock.

  “Where are we?” I ask.

“In a hotel room in L.A.”

  “Huh? What about the jet?”

He chuckles. “We got off the jet about thirty minutes ago and came straight here. We couldn’t wake you up and every time we tried you would say something random. You’ve been quite entertaining actually.”

“I have not,” I say as I rub my eyes.

“You have. I have video evidence from the car ride here, and where you’re half-conscious do you remember any of it?”

“No, show me,” I reply thinking he’s bluffing. He pulls out his mobile and opens up a video and presses play. I look drunk as I sit in Colt’s lap staring out the opposite window.

“Lamp post,” I say on the video and everyone laughs.

“Lamp posts are good. They make light and light is like really good you know, handy and stuff. Colt can I have a lamp post?”

“You can have anything you want, Lia,” Colt replies.

  Oh my God!

“I so don’t remember that at all,” I exclaim and Colt stops the recording.

“I’m just glad you’re fully awake now. How are you feeling? Can I get you anything?”

“Maybe just some water would be good, thanks. Where’s the others?” I ask as he gets up and walks across to the fridge.

“They’re down at the venue for tomorrow’s gig sorting everything out.”

My eyes open wide. “Oh shit, Colt you should be there.”

“No, I shouldn’t. I needed to know you were going to be okay. I couldn’t just leave you in a hotel room to wake up and not know where any of us are.”

“Go, you can go now. I’m fine, a little groggy but fine,” I say as he hands me the water.

“Lia, I am not leaving you. They can handle it. We’ve had enough shows now that people know what they’re doing. Plus, I’d rather be here with you, whether you be in a coma talking about lamp posts or awake and functioning normally.”

“Colt I don’t want to come between you and your work.”

“It’s not work, it’s my dream. And that’s the thing about dreams, they can be expanded, and you’re a big part of my dreams, Lia.”

I think I melt on the spot. “Colt I don’t know what to say?”

“Don’t say anything, just come and get naked in the shower with me,” he replies with a smirk. I smile, stand up and walk with him to the en-suite.

I’m sat on the balcony with a tiny bottle of wine from the mini bar, looking out over the city of Los Angeles waiting for Colt to finish ordering room service for our dinner. I’m still a little dazed from the pill I took on the flight, but it could also be because I’m so relaxed after having another amazing shower with Colt. His hands seriously work magic, and he seems to love to touch me in every way possible. So, I let him, but I love every second of it. I rest back into the seat and close my eyes while I start to drift off.

My mobile rings disturbing my peaceful moment. I exhale and open my eyes to see a call from someone who I did not expect to hear from.

“Joseph, hi,” I say down the phone slightly groggy and confused as to why he’d be calling me.

“Lia, hey. How are you? Are you okay?”

“I’m good. Great actually, although a little confused as to why you’re calling me?”

“Right, yeah. Well, people are worried about you. I’ve seen the pictures of you with that rock star guy. Didn’t take you long to move on did it?”

I sit there stunned. “You broke up with me, Joseph. You have no right to judge me on my choices, when you made it perfectly clear that you didn’t want or need me around anymore,” I reply harshly.

“You’re right. I’m sorry that was uncalled for. I still care
about you Lia, and we are... I mean I am worried that you might be getting involved with the wrong type of people and maybe getting in over your head.”

“Ha! Daddy made you call me didn’t he?”

  “No, it’s not like that,”

  “Don’t lie to me, Joseph.”

He exhales down the line. “He’s just worried about you, and so am I. There’s pictures of you, Lia, standing on a balcony wrapped in a sheet with that rock guy naked and kissing you.”

  Shit!

  Bollocks!

  Double shit!

“That’s none of your business. You lost all rights to my personal life when you left me and kicked me out on Valentine’s Day.”

“Look I didn’t call to argue. I just want to know if you’re okay and that he’s not taking advantage of you. And please tell me you’re not taking drugs and acting out, because if you are I will fly to America and get you myself.”

“I’m not taking drugs, I promise. Thank you for your concern, but it’s not necessary. Colt is taking care of me.”

“Colt, that’s his name? Lia, I think you should come back to England, talk with your father. Let’s see if we can work this thing out between us?”

“What the hell does that mean?”

“Even though I don’t love you like a partner should, it doesn’t mean I don’t care about you, and your father and I will work something out so you are safe back in England and happy. I can take you to concerts and other things if that’s what you need to let your hair down, but being on tour with the world’s biggest rock band, can’t you see the complications that will arise from that? Lia drugs and wild parties are the norm for those kinds of people and I don’t want to see you getting yourself hurt or into a mess that you can’t find your way out of.”

“Look Joseph, I get what you’re saying, but I’m perfectly safe and happy with Colt. He’s showing me how not to be dull and boring as you so kindly put it. I’m living a little and I’m having a great time. Please give my regards to Daddy and don’t worry about me. I can look after myself.”
