Fayette County, West Virginia Many of the stones used in these heaps have evidently been obtained by rude quarrying in the stratified cliffs, often half a mile distant. Some of them measure from 4 to 6 feet in length, half as wide, and of a thickness which renders them so heavy as to require from two to four stout men to handle them. Beneath the somewhat upturned edges of many of these stones in the different layers are frequently found the decayed (and often charred) remains of human skeletons, usually horizontal, with the head or feet (generally the latter) toward the central "wellhole."

Mound Excavation in Tennessee
The most interesting skeleton to me was the one numbered 49 (This is situated on the south bank of Little Tennessee River, not very far from the site of Old Fort London)---this was nearly in the center of the mound, lying with the head southwest, and eight other skeletons lying close around it, all with their heads turned toward it. With one of the surrounding skeletons I found a celt and a discoidial stone, two bone implements, a soapstone pipe, an engraved shell and a bear’s tooth, all lying about the head...

What is known as the Lindsay Mound, on Buffal Creek, four miles from Raleigh, explored by Mr.
Lyon, revealed many interesting features in regard to burial customs. The bodies were placed in a
circle upon their backs, with head directed toward the center and faces turned upon the left side, the
arrangement being similar to the spokes of a wheel.

Chautauqua County, New York In front of Mr. Gould's residence and 80 rods to the east a bone pit was opened several years ago. Remains of skeletons of each sex and of all ages were found; the number could not be determined. a grave had been previously opened near the above and five skeletons found in a circle with feet outward. The position and size of the bones corresponded closely with those on Mr. Cowans place near Rutledge.

History of Cass County Michigan, 1902
A large number of human skeletons were found (over a hundred, it is said), buried in a circle with
their heads toward a common center. Many of the skulls bore the marks of weapons, which indicated
that death had ensued from violence. Those who saw the inferred that the skeletons were those of men
who had died in battle. All had evidently been buried at the same time.

The most interesting feature of the group was found in No., 16 a symmetrical mound 65 feet in diameter and 10 feet high. The first 6 feet from the top consisted of hard gray earth, seemingly a mortar-like composition, which required the use of the pic. This covered vault built in part of stone and in part of round logs. When fully uncovered this was found to be a rectangular crypt, inside measurement showing it to be 13 feet long and 7 feet wide. The four straight, surrounding walls were built of small unhewn stones to the height of 3 feet and a foot or more in thickness. Three feet from each end was a cross wall or partition of like character, thus leaving a central chamber 7 feet square, and a narrow cell at each end about 2 feet wide and 7 feet long. This had been entirely covered with a single layer of round logs, varying in diameter from 6 to 12 inches, laid close together side by side across the width of the vault, the ends resting upon and extending to uneven lengths beyond the side walls.
In the cenral chamber were 11 skeletons, 6 adults, 4 children of different sizes, and 1 infant, the last evidently buried in the arms of one of the adults, presumably its mother. They had all apparently been interred at one time as they were found arranged in a circle in a sitting posture, with backs against the walls. In the center of the space around which they were grouped was a fine large shell, Busyon perversum, which had been converted into a drinking cup by removing the columella.

Peoria County, Illinois In the northwest part of Peoria County, in the state of Illinois, is quite an interesting group of mounds. They are scattered along the north bank of Spoon River, for a distance of five miles. There is one peculiarity that have never noticed in other mounds, and that is that the “finds” are all deposited in “warpaint,” or red ochre
These mounds are 45 in number, mostly round burial mounds, about 40 feet in diameter, but one mound is a cross, shaped thus t, being 45 feet long, the cross being 33 feet long... the whole mound is about 2 feet high... One mound was highly interesting, being beyond a doubt a “cremation mound”--the only one I ever saw. Five bodies were burnt laid across one another in the form of a star, the skulls being to the S., S-W., N-W., N., and N-E. At a point between the ear and point of the shoulders was a small jasper pebble, except the skull to the south. The heat of the five had burnt the clay to brickred to the depth of 18 to 20 inches. The bones were all burnt from the middle of the pile, the head and shoulders alone remaining with a few fragments of charred bone.

Geneva Illinois
One written by James Maitland, makes mention of the exploration of several mounds near Geneva, Illinois. There were found in the mounds a number of skeletons and skulls and other relics. Some of the skeletons are described as “lying side by side but having their bones in a position to describe the arc of a circle.” Some bone needles and pieces of pottery were found with them, but what is noticeable especially as associated with the circular position of the bones, were the evident tokens of fire in the mounds. “Three feet below the surface was a considerable amount of charcoal extending through the mound at about the same depth. Below the charcoal, the earth was caked as if by a long continued fire, and a considerable deposit of ashes.”
Gematria and the Babylonian and Biblical Codex
Gematria is the act of assigning a numerical value to letters that exposes hidden meanings of words
or phrases. Numbers in of themselves held sacred meanings and attributes that could be attached to
phrases or to the measurements of a structure or object. This practice has its origins around 1800 B.C
on the Medeteranean coasts with the development of the alphabet by the Amorites.
Like the later Romans, each letter also had a numerical equivalent. A concept that most are familiar
with when presented with the letters XVI, it can readily be deciphered as meaning 16. Also, about
1800 B.C. The Babylonians developed a base six method of counting, called a duodecimal system. Our
current clocks and measure of time have their roots on these same divisions of 12 and 6. The
Babylonians also introduced advanced mathematical formulas such as multiplication, division, pi and
square roots.
The cornerstone numbers of Gematria are 660 or 666 and 1080. 660 and 666 represent the sun, the
light, and the male principle. 1080 represents the moon, the Earth Mother, darkness and the female
principle. 1746 is the number of fusion that is achieved by adding 666 + 1080 = 1746. 1746 represents
the balance of the powers of light and dark, the Yin and Yang, also known as The Treasury of Spirit
and the Pearl of Wisdom and the balance of powers between Heaven and Earth. 555.5 times
pi is 1746.
555 is a numerical anagram for the Sacred Marriage of the sun and earth. The square root of 1080 is
33, that is the number for the gateway or path. Christ was crucified at age 33; he is the gateway or
path to heaven. The number 8 transgresses many religions with the same meaning of a new beginning
or resurrection. and also that of the Supreme Being.
These numbers can also be found in their use as cycles of time that was formulated by the
Babylonians and Greeks. These periods of time used to forecast the dates when great cataclysms would occur upon the earth. According to H. P. Balvatsky in Isis Unveiled, A Master-Key to the
Mysteries of Ancient and Modern Science and Theology, originally published in 1877. “In order to
demonstrate that the notions which the ancients entertained about dividing human history into cycles
were not utterly devoid of a philosophical basis, we will close this chapter by introducing to the reader
one of the oldest traditions of antiquity as to the evolution of our planet.
At the close of each “great year,” called by Aristotle-according to Censorinus-the greatest, and
which consists of six sars. Our planet is subjected to a thorough physical revolution.
Berosses, himself a Chaldean astrologer, at the temple of Belus, at Babylon, gives the duration of
a sar, or sarsus, 3,600 years; a neros 600; and a sossus 60.
The polar and equatorial climates gradually exchange places; the former moving slowly toward
the line, and the tropical zone, with its exuberant vegetation and swarming animal life, replacing the
forbidding wastes of the icy poles. This change in climate is necessarily attended by cataclysms,
earthquakes, and other cosmical throes. As the beds of the ocean are displaced, at he end of every
decimillenium and about a neros, a semi-universal deluge like the legendary Noachian flood is
brought about.
So uncertain were the commentators about the length of this year, that none except Herodotus and
Linus, who assigned to it 10,800 years, [3600 sars X 3 =1080]. According to the claims of the
Babylonian priests, corroborated by Eupolemus, the city of Babylon, owes its foundation to those who
were saved from the catastrophe of the deluge; they were the giants and they built the tower which is
noticed in history. (This is in flat contradiction of the Bible narrative, which tells us that the deluge
was sent for the special destruction of these giants. (The Babylonian priest had no object to invent
lies.) These giants who were great astrologers and had received moreover from their fathers, “sons of
God,” every instruction pertaining to secret matters.”
The number 1080 is the number that is symbolic of the Spirit of the Earth, and can be associated with the Earth Mother. The earliest use of the number 1080 was found in a list compiled by Berosses,
A Babylonian priest who died about 260 B.C., who compiled a list of Babylonian kings who lived
before the flood.

. Numbers of interest within the Babylonian Kings lists before the flood are the 10,800, 43,200,
64,800 because they are all divisible by 1080. If the planet is subjected to a thorough physical
revolution, every 6 sars or 216,000 years; the Babylonian kings would constitute that the earth had
gone through a prior catastrophe before the Noachian flood. The number 432,000 years as the total
amount of years prior to the flood is divisible by 3600 and also 1080. 432,000 ÷ 3600= 120,
432,000 ÷ 1080 = 400. 432,000 ÷ 2 = 216,000 ÷ 2 = 10,800. 216 is the sum total of 6 X 6 X 6 =
216. It is also found by doubling 1080 to 2160.
This number 216 is again evident in the Bible. Within the Book of Revelations, following the
identification of the number of the beast, in 13:18 ,“and his number is Six hundred, three score
[60] and six.” This is followed by the quote in the next chapter Revelations 14:1 “And I looked,
and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him a hundred forty and four thousand, having
his Father's name written in their foreheads.” When 144,000 is divided by 666 the resulting
number is 216.216216!
The number 666 was derived from what is called the Magic Square Of The Sun. It was formulated by the Babylonians. Adding the numbers across or diagonal will result in the sum of 111. Resulting in each side totalling 666.
The number 666 is recognized from “Revelations,” in the Bible. It represents the number of the
“Beast.” But, if we look at the political climate in the days of Paul and Peter and the other of the
followers of Christ, it is one dominated by Rome. The newly formed Christians were being persecuted
throughout the Roman provinces. All of the evil of the world to the early Christian writers could be
encapsulated into one word, ‘Rome.’ One of the most misunderstood quotes in the Bible is Revelation
13:18 “Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man;
and his number is six hundred threescore and six.” The key word is count. The number 666 was an
anagram for the Roman numerical system. If you add the Roman numerical sequence of D=500 +
C=100 + L=50 + X=10 + V= 5 + I = 1, it equals the total of 666. The number 666 is used several
times in the Old Testament with no satanic or evil connotations, but with its accurate ancient meaning
of the “Sun.”
In Chronicles II, 9:13 they bring Solomon “in one year, six hundred, three score and six talents of
gold.” Evidence that the Bible is using 666 as a reference to the Sun, can be found in the name of
Solomon itself. “Sol” is Latin for Sun, “Om” is Hindu for Sun, and “On” is Egyptian for Sun. There
is also a Gematria codex within the name Solomon in that it contains the letter “ O,” three times. “ O”
is the 15th letter in both the current and ancient Greek alphabet. Written, 1+5, 1+5, 1+5, the total is 666.
In Ezra 2:13 in describing the tribes who were returning from captivity in Babylon by the hand of
Nebuchadnezzar. “The children of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty six.” “Adoni” is a reference to the
Phoenician Sun God, Adonis.
In Alchemy, The Great Work. An Investigation into the relationship between Astrology, Alchemy and the Mystical, 1998, by Allan Tidmarsh, gives the area of the Sarsen circles=1080 megalithic yards and the area of the Aubrey hole circle as 6660 square yards. Tidmarsh writes, “The holy sanctuary or temple was laid out, with measurements built into it to symbolize the marriage of the solar (male) and the lunar (female), as well as the union of heaven and earth.”
In another work, StonehengeDance of the Giants, by Ross Nichols, from Greater Sites of the
Britannic Islands in the Book of Druidry. A series of vesicas are imposed on Stonehenge with the
following results. “Stonehenge is the archetype of the Henge’s in the Ohio Valley. This open air Pagan
temple is associated with giants on both continents. Stonehenge, was built using the ancient principles
of Gematria. “There are three vesicas within Stonehenge: the first encloses the sarsen circle, the third
the circle fitting within the bluestone horseshoe. This third vesica = 61.2 ft x 35.24 ft and the diamond
= 1,080 ft sq. area, the number of Hermes. The circumference of 2 l
arge circies is that of the square of
the sun. The middle circie coincides with the circle of 30 'y' holes now invisible. At Midsummer's Solstice the sun penetrates the first and third vesicas-the sacred number 666 penetrating the earth-spirit
mercury's number 1,080. Added, they make the number of perfections 1,746, by gematria the Pearl of
Wisdom.
The number 33 occurs several times in the Bible. There were 33 descendants from Adam to David.
Christ lived 33 years. Christ is the gateway. It is through Christ (33), that you must pass to reach the
spiritual or Holy place.
The number 33 also occurs, associated with giants, Dr. Beedo is quoted in (“Archaic England”
Harold Baily 1920, pg. 192) “Our British Giants, Gog, Magog, Termagol, and the rest of the terrible
tribe, sprang, according to Scottish myth, from the thirty three daughters of Diocletian, a King of Syria,
or Tyria. These thirty-three primeval women drifted in a ship to Britain, then uninhabited, where they
lived in solitude, until an order of demons becoming enamoured of them, took them to wife and begot a
race of giants.”
There is also an ancient Icelandic myth of Magus, who at the age of 330 years magically cast his skin
and transformed himself into a youthful man. Maga is sometimes associated with Hercules or Og. The
“casting his skin” may refer to December 20, when the sun of old is destroyed to be reborn 3 days later.
The Gnostics believed in 30 divine rulers that represented each day of the month. They called these
Aeons. Aeons was a British term for the sun.
The original assumption of 33 meaning path or gateway has to be expanded to the image of the sun
on its yearly path in the sky.
Long Meg is said to be one of the last Titans that inhabited the British Isles. The diameter of Long Meg is 330 feet that is reminiscent of Magus. However, her stone being the largest is 18 feet high that is believed to be an anagram for 1080. Long Meg has 72 stones that make up the stone circle, which Bayley wrote in Archaic England, had a realtion to the seventy-two dodecans into which the Chaldean and Egyptian zodiac was divided. Christ, is said to of had 72 disciples. 72 X 15 = 1080.
