“You realize I’m just joking right? What sort of girl do you take me for? I don’t even know you.”
“We’ve known each other a long time Aria.”
My body didn’t want to admit what my mind already knew. She was just playing with my head and now my cock was rock hard because of it. Collateral damage no doubt.
“Not that long. I saw you when I was younger, but you never gave me the time of day. Now you are trying to hit on me like… well I don’t know what like, but that’s not how I am. I thought you were here to thank me for taking you home the other night. I didn’t realize that I was coming here for this.”
“I can thank you properly.”
She smiled and shook her head. “So, having sex is your way of helping me and thanking me properly?””
She was incredulous, and Aria obviously didn’t see where I was coming from. Doesn’t she know that I will pleasure her in all ways? I may be a bit of a play boy, but I always leave the woman satisfied. Most likely why they don’t hate me. I would do the same for her if she would give me the chance.
“Yes, I don’t know why you are looking at me like that. I’ve never heard a complaint before.”
“How many times have you seen them again? You strike me as the type that changes his mind a lot.”
“I thought you hadn’t heard the rumors?”
Aria giggled that wonderful laugh again and it affected me as it shouldn’t. I shouldn’t feel this way about her, not when she’s giving me hell.
“I hadn’t, but it wasn’t hard to guess what they would be. Hot guy with money, I’m sure you have your pick of the lot.”
It was so far from the moment that I thought that we were going to be together. She had had such a look on her face and she was now looking at me as if I was the very last person in the world that she would want to be with.
“It’s not like that.”
“No?”
“No, can we start over? I don’t know what just happened Aria. I thought we were getting along so well.”
“You just are a bit too cocky for my taste.”
“When it comes to that, it’s not cocky Aria, it’s confidence. I would make you scream over and over again. It would be a great way to thank you.”
She blew out a breath and shook her head like I was a mess. Maybe I was, but I could see that she hesitated this time at least. No matter what, it meant that she wasn’t just pushing it off like it was nothing. I should have known that I could count on her to keep me abreast to everything that was going on, even if it was in her face. Her poker face skills were lacking.
“Do you not want to at least give me a chance to pay you back?”
Another laugh, but this one was filled with uncertainty and something else.
“You really are full of yourself.”
“I am. Do you want to be full of me too?”
That got me a push back, but it wasn’t in a way that told me that I had offended her. No, she was slapping at me like she would if I’d just told her a funny joke. Her lack of protest made me move a little closer and then pause.
“I could pleasure you in other ways. I don’t have to rut in right away if you don’t want me to. I could use my lips and fingers, my tongue to make you moan.”
She shivered in front of me. I could see her body trembling and I was taking that as a good omen to what was to come. All she had to do was say yes. Maybe it was the uniform, but there was something about Aria that was pulling me in and I was left unable to stop it. I knew I should shut up while I was ahead, but the fact was that it was easier said than done. I didn’t want to shut up. I wanted to keep going, keep pushing until I got Aria to agree. I wasn’t worried about what came after. I wanted to guarantee that first part. I wanted to make sure that I got Aria in the first place, before I worried about what would happen next. It didn’t matter if I was truthful to myself.
“You are something else David. Is this how all of your tours end?”
I didn’t tell her how right she was. We were only a few feet from my room, but I wouldn’t take her there now, lest she knew she was right. She already had me over a barrel, so there was no sense in lying about anything else.
“No, usually we don’t make it all the way through. You’re the first.”
I didn’t sound very happy about it and I wasn’t. I didn’t like that she could resist my charm and called me on my bullshit. I didn’t like it all that well, but I’d forgotten how much I missed the hunt. It was too easy now, something I would have thought when I was younger was going to be the best thing ever. It really wasn’t. I wanted someone that was going to challenge me.
“I wish I could David, I really do, but I’m with someone and I’m not like that.”
This was the first I was hearing about a boyfriend.
“Who?”
“Nick Graves. We’re enlisted together.”
“I don’t see him here.”
“That’s because he’ll be here tomorrow.”
“That gives us tonight.”
“No, it doesn’t. Sorry David. I will have to be the first to turn down the bonus tour but thank you for the drink and conversation.”
And just like that, Aria was gone. She didn’t need help navigating her way back to the party and then out. She most likely kept track while we were going upstairs. I didn’t know what to say, but she was right, Aria was the first to deny me what I wanted. I didn’t like it, at all.
That moment made me realize that I wanted to make sure that it didn’t happen again. I was going to find out who this boyfriend was and see if he was even coming tomorrow. I needed more time with Aria and now I knew I was going to have to give my good friend Marshall a call and see how he was doing. I really wanted to see this through, for once in my life.
My reasoning was beyond me, it was just a desire that I couldn’t get past.
Chapter 8
Aria
I mentioned Nick because I was getting this strange feeling around David. I went to the party telling myself that I wasn’t going to do anything with him. I was just going to go for one drink, but I should have known that he would have a different idea. Now I was leaving the party because there was no way that I was going to be able to stay and not go against my word. Nick wasn’t coming, but it had given me an out at the very least.
Sadly, I actually wanted to go back upstairs and find him as I walked out of the huge house. David had been on fire tonight and even though I hadn’t tried to notice, I did notice how hard he got. It was almost an instant thing and it was large from where I’d been standing. That got my mind to the gutter and I had to push all of those thoughts out of my head.
When I got back to the room, Nick called me not long after I got there. I was in the bath tub and the sound of his voice through the line was raspy and turning me on. David had set me on fire and now I was still smoldering from lack of a proper ending. Once I asked Nick what he was wearing, and he got the hint of what I was aiming at, and his voice got lower and gravellier.
“Why don’t you just come home Aria? I miss you. I haven’t touched that sweet ass in almost a week.”
It had been three days, but I was going to let him be dramatic if he wanted to be.
“I will be back soon. You could help me out tonight though. We could help each other out Nick. I’m sure your nice and hard right now, waiting to get off.”
He growled at me and I closed my eyes as my fingers moved down between my legs. This was the moment that I was supposed to think about Nick, it was his words and voice that was driving me wild after all. But I wasn’t thinking of Nick when I closed my eyes. It was David’s dirty blonde hair pushed back from his handsome, tanned face that I saw instead.
With him in mind, it didn’t take long at all for me to lose myself. It was hard for me to not call out the wrong name as I came. I had to bite my lower lip so that I wasn’t able to. It wasn’t long before Nick was coming too, and I hung up, promising that I would call him in the morning. I told him I was tired,
but after the phone hung up, I was staring at the ceiling for what felt like hours.
***
The next morning, I got a call from mom, telling me that Marshall was finally home, and he was going to be there for a while, so she wanted me to come by for brunch. It was late, but it felt like I’d only slept a few hours. I wanted to tell her no and crawl back into bed, but I didn’t figure that it was a good idea. I was supposed to spend some time with her. I’d already blown her off once and if I ditched today, I was never going to hear the end of it. Mom had that guilt thing down pat and I was going to avoid it at all cost.
I got up and took a quick shower, my mind lingering on what I did the night before. Nick had wanted to come on this trip with me, but I’d given several excuses why he couldn’t. Truth was that I didn’t want to bring him home for a variety of reasons, a big one being my family. They were crazy, and I knew that. There was no point in getting them involved unless I thought Nick and I had a future together. I really didn’t think we did. He was fun. We were just having fun, that’s all. That was not a reason to bring him home to meet my parents. It was for both of our sakes. That’s what I told myself anyways.
When I got to the house that I grew up in, this weird feeling came over me. It was like I was transported in time. Everything was the same and it smelled like my father’s coffee when I opened the door. It was a blast from the past and it took me a minute to compose myself afterwards. I wanted to sink into the second step from the last like I had for so many years and then realized it was now the third. It had been a long time since I’d been home. Not sure if it was from coincidence or by design.
I could hear people talking in the kitchen and I took my boots off and walked through the rest of the house in my socks. Marshall was the first person I saw, and he smiled at me. When I was turning the corner, I saw that he wasn’t alone and who he had brought, stopped me in my tracks. What was he doing here?
“Morning sis. You are looking rough this morning. Have a good time last night?”
I said that I did, but that I wasn’t out too late. “It was just something. It was no big deal.”
I saw David’s face change a little bit and it had me really curious why he was here. Why was he standing in my mother’s kitchen when he had said himself that Marshall and he hadn’t talked that much in years. Was this a coincidence as well?
“Well glad that we finally connected. Mom said you were looking for me.”
“I was. I wanted to talk to you about something. Are you going to be here for a while?”
Marshall agreed that he was, and I was glad for it. My mind was so wishy-washy I was hoping that he would be able to help me with that. It was a big decision and one that I wouldn’t be able to go back in on once it was made. Once I was out, I was out. Once I said I wanted to stay in, I was in for several more years. I didn’t know if I was ready for either one of those scenarios.
I tried to ignore the fact that David was here, but he cornered me in the living room when I was coming back from the bathroom. David came out of the shadows and scared the crap out of me. I jumped, and he chuckled a little.
“I never knew that a soldier could be so jumpy.”
“It happens when they’re at their parent’s house and didn’t know that they were going to be ambushed. What are you doing here?”
“Me and Marshall are just hanging out and your mom invited us over. You know how she is. She thinks Marshall is going to starve or something and she always takes in all of the strays.”
“And you’re one of the strays?”
He nodded his head and smiled at me. “So, I thought your boyfriend was going to be here tonight. Did he not make it in yet?”
I bit my lip to not say something smart. He had me dead to rights for lying, but that didn’t mean that I wanted him to throw it in my face. I didn’t want to think about it, but I had to.
“Well I think something came up.”
“So, you’re alone another night?”
“It appears so.”
“Are you cold?”
“No, why?”
He pulled me closer and brushed his lips against mine. “Because you’re trembling Aria.”
“What are you doing here?”
“I’m here for you Aria. You should know that by now. I want you.”
I couldn’t believe that he was doing this at my parent’s house. Any one of them could have walked into the room at any time and saw us. It would have been embarrassing, but his lips were too tempting for me. I wasn’t able to say no to him and when he pulled me against his body, the world shut down for a moment and all I could process was the feel of him on me and his tongue swirling around in my mouth.
This was not supposed to happen. But for something that wasn’t supposed to happen, it felt really damn good.
Chapter 9
David
I was here for the woman in my arms, but this was the worst time and the worst place to be doing what we were doing. Everyone was two rooms over and it was a gamble if they decided not to come in here or not. I should have stopped, pushed her away before it got anymore serious, but then Aria started to kiss me back. Her tongue flipped in my mouth, paired with the softest lips I had ever felt in my life. I don’t know what it was that she was doing to me, but I did know that I had to have her, even if it was right here on her parent’s sofa.
Pulling her down on top of my lap, her legs straddled mine and I could feel her curves under her uniform. I was dying to see all of her and one hand started to unbutton her shirt, while the other one held her back, pulling her down so that I could feel every curve that wasn’t about to be on display. How much I would have given for her to be underneath me right now. If she’d had on a little skirt, I would already be inside of her.
“David, wait…”
My hand was down her pants, already releasing all the refusals that she felt. I knew what she needed, asked her to give it to me before and now I was going to make sure that I made my mark. I couldn’t have all of her now, but I could plant the seed that would make it happen later, of that I was so sure.
“Do you really want me to stop?”
My fingers slid between her lower lips, while my tongue flicked at her the other pair. I knew she was mine by the whimper she made and the wetness that had came about so quickly. She was dripping, and I’d only been touching her for a minute. It looked like Aria was ripe for it, whether she was aware of that fact or not.
I let go of her with my mouth to let her answer me. My fingers didn’t stop though. I was strumming on her clit and pushing one of my thick digits inside of her, that was met with some of the hottest and smoothest inner walls that I’d ever felt. I wanted inside of her now with just a touch, but I knew it was not to be. I was supposed to be planting a seed, but now I was obsessed with hearing her come.
My fingers moved faster as she squirmed on my lap. It felt so damn good I was finding it hard to contain myself. The more she wiggled, the more I wanted her to stop. It was driving me crazy and my release was not going to come for a time.
We heard voices coming towards us and she stopped like a deer caught in headlights, waiting for someone to come around the corner and find us in such a compromising condition. I wasn’t too worried about it, not enough to stop anyways. I don’t know what the hell it was about her, but I couldn’t help myself. I had to hear her and feel her orgasm if it was the very last thing that I did.
The footsteps in the hallway stopped and I just rubbed faster. I knew that we didn’t have long, but I was bound and determined to make sure that she had an orgasm before that happen. I wanted to make sure that she would come to me later for the rest. This one time was not going to be enough. I didn’t know if anything would ever be enough with Aria.
I pushed deeper, adding a second finger to her tight snatch before she clamped down onto it and started to ride it. I knew from the way she felt on top of me that she wanted it as badly as I did. There was no denying the need that both of us felt and when she fi
nally buried her face into my shoulder and made a sound of pleasure, I finally was able to breathe again.
The footsteps that we heard were one of her family members. We had to stop. I pulled out of her quickly and pushed her up on to her shaking knees. She buttoned up her pants while she was looking down at me. I wanted to get up as well, but it wouldn’t look good. Aria’s hands trembled as she turned around to confront whoever it was, finishing buttoning her shirt when the footsteps had a face.
“Aria, there you are. You said that you wanted to talk to me about something?”
“Yes, I was just coming back to see if you had a few minutes.”
“I do. Let’s go out on the porch. The sun is going down and it’s one of the best things I’ve seen in a while. No matter where I go in the world, I will always love our Texas sunsets from the back porch best.”
I was surprised that Marshall was being so cheesy, but I’d seen the same scene and had to agree. This house was in perfect stop to get the morning sun on the front porch and a great view of the sunset on the back porch. It was made that way on purpose and that little detail in the planning made it a dream twice a day.
I watched Aria go and she was still on unsteady legs, her polished up-do was in shambles and I don’t know why, but I liked that best of all, that I’d gotten to her in some way because she had surely gotten to me. Now I was to wait and see what happened next. I wanted her to come to me.
“David, what are you doing sitting here in the dark? Come in here son. I would like to know what you’ve been up to since college.”
I went back into the kitchen for dessert and a man talk with Marshall’s dad. We’d always gotten along, and he was more likely itching to tell some old war stories. He had a lot of them and I had always liked to hear them. I’d never planned to go into the military, but there was a sense of comradery and adventure that made for great tales. The truer they were, the less likely I would ever be to try something like that.
When we got to the table, I heard the screen door in the front slap against the wood and I remembered that sound well. Now I was more worried about seeing Aria again, away from her family where we could be naughty.
