Ménage a Moi – Polyamory - Three Book Collection Page 4

by Lainey Fox

That night, they waited until an inky darkness overtook them. Mike laid the banquette cushions out on the deck, untied Dr. Danielle’s bikini top and bottom. He rubbed her from head to toe with a light jasmine-scented cream by the light of sputtering candles. He piled pillows under her middle, bringing her up to him. He put his fingers in her from behind. She actually bit the pillow he had put under her head to keep from screaming, as sound tended to carry across the water. He took his time, stroking her again and again, inside and out, until she bit the pillow again, wriggling under his hands.

Mike took off his own swimsuit and took his time entering her from behind. He went very slow. He reached under himself and touched her button, making her writhe on him, nearly making him come then and there. He went in and out, stopping to touch her, until she begged him to come. He did, and he rolled over, spent. Raoul took over then, stroking Danielle, having her kiss his cock, taking her balls and then his cock in his mouth, not letting her move from where she was. When he was ready, he took her from behind as well. She came, once more screaming into the pillow. She flipped over, removing the pillows underneath her, and they lay cradling each other in their arms. Bit by bit, they put on their swimsuits, and Raoul brought out a sheet. They slept under the stars.

Danielle awoke hungry with need in the middle of the night, demanding more. Mike went inside, put on his noise-cancelling headphones, and got some much-needed rest as Raoul pleased Danielle. After an amazing breakfast of juice, fruit, croissants, and bacon cooked in the tiny galley kitchen and consumed on the deck Mike left, giving Raoul and Danielle two days together alone. Mike hoped Raoul could keep up with Danielle.

Mike fiercely wanted to move to the Southeast Fraud Division. He contacted the division, and spoke to Captain Saanvi Prahta, who recommended that he transfer laterally into Missing Persons and study for the Fraud Division.

“We’re not supposed to, but you can work both a bit as you train.”

Mike thanked her profusely, and located and filled out the paperwork for the transfer as they continued to talk.

“In the meantime, you can play the Fraud Video Game. Lieutenant Raymundo Flores did the Spanish for it--you’ll be working with him in Missing Persons--and Officer Lashonda Grant, she’s our computer whiz, and Lieutenant Cat Walker, she’s the lead on that desk, invented it. They’ll want some sort of donation for it, as they spent lots of downtime hours on creating a training module for the LVMPD.”

“How much?” She named a three-figure amount. He swallowed, and choked out, “No problem. Text me the PayPal information, and it will go out today.”

Captain Prahta laughed. “I expect your transfer to be on Norbie’s desk by the end of the day.”

Mike almost choked again. To hear the sharp-dressed, no-hair-out-of-place Captain Norbert that ran his division called “Norbie” was terrifying.

  ”Yes, ma’am,” he said.

He finished filling out the paperwork, despite taking two calls from people with still-missing loved ones asking him to open closed cases. He and his partner, Lia Molina, did closed cases when they didn’t have any fresh ones, and were always working at least one.

He received the text and texted back his email. He paid the PayPal, in the name of “ShondaGamer”, and received an email nearly immediately. It led to a game called Coyote Fraud, and he closed it down hurriedly as Lia got off the phone, chasing down leads on a missing gambler. They had taken the case because the gambler was barely 18 years old. Mike had used his newfound skills to find out the kid was selling photos of herself wearing various dominatrix outfits and using the money to gamble online. He and Molina were trying to find which segment of her life had gotten her disappeared.

He had been planning to take Lia out to lunch to tell her about the transfer, but she spied the paperwork on his desk.

“About time,” she said. “My sergeant's exam is next week, and I have my eye on Officer Jay Myers. He’s smart and would do great on this desk.”

He grabbed his back, as if stabbed, then pretended to collapse onto his desk. She laughed.

“You were going to move on anyway. This way, I get to fish out who I want. The Captain will let me do it. He trusts me.”

Mike told her about “Norbie”. She laughed again, and took him out for coffee after he had finished filling out the paperwork. The were back half an hour later, full of bagels and laughter.

Mike took the paperwork into the captain, and explained why he wanted to leave. “Norbie”--Mike had to work to keep a straight face--looked it over and nodded. He lay back, and smiled.

“Figured it would happen today. Saanvi’s on board, so take the week to finish off what you’ve got going on. Any idea who Molina wants?”

“Myers,” Mike said. “Both of us have answered lots of questions about Missing Persons. He’s ready to move up.”

“Agreed,” said the captain. “Tell her, and go ahead and take him. Stay another week; you can train him in tandem. Let her take a personal day to get ready for the sergeant’s exam.”

Mike doubted she needed one, but he nodded.

When at home, Mike helped Raoul create fish tacos with cilantro and an amazing chimichurri sauce. They ate alone, as Danielle had dinner with Rae Tonoko. Mike took half a sixpack of Mountain Dew, and retreated to his cave while Raoul went to work in the garden. He was selling veggies in baskets to neighbors.

Mike’s study material were a game, Coyote Fraud. It had been put together using actual cases, with names and dates changed. The first case was one of a physician’s assistant using stolen and altered information to pass himself off as a doctor and commit insurance fraud. The case walked Mike through the initial complaint, an interview with the purported fraud victim, and an interview with the pretend doctor. He was able to research the case “online” within the game. He was frozen for three hours when he applied for an electronic warrant for bank records. He got a snack, and worked out, lifting weights. He found that the game would allow him to open a second case while waiting for something on the first one. His second case was a realtor accused of selling a house to two separate people, with the suspicion that she wasn’t really a realtor at all.

He fell into bed, groaning, at nearly one in the morning. He realized he had a new addiction--a video game--that he must work into his real life investigating missing persons cases. He had to fill out both real and virtual paperwork.

His move to Missing Persons in Green Valley put him with Lieutenant Raymundo Flores and Naomi Gottlieb, both experienced investigators. They gave him any cold cases he wanted. He worked two, one of a missing octogenarian and the other a dancer hired by a nightclub to dance standing on a box. He found the octogenarian in a nursing home in filthy conditions, and had the place investigated and closed down. He then worked his first fraud case. The grandson of the octogenarian had stored her there while he made off with her pension. He used all the steps he had been doing in Coyote Fraud, working closely with LaShonda Grant to track the money.

LaShonda looked eighteen but was really 25. She typed faster than she talked, which was saying something. She seemed to be on 1.5x speed, talking and gesturing and sipping from Dr. Pepper cans so fast that Mike wondered if he could keep up. Lieutenant Walker was tiny, Asian, and terrifying. She had a reddish cast to her skin that put her as part native American, with almond eyes, a flattened nose, and a strong voice. He did absolutely nothing to anger her, working flat-out on the fraud case, looking for the missing nightclub dancer, and working Coyote Fraud at night.

They threw a party when Mike finally was able to change desks. His workmates took him out to a bar and grill and plied him with appetizers and Dr. Pepper and war stories. He asked them not to tell him anything that might be in the Coyote Fraud game. LaShonda laughed.

“Just you wait. We combine two or three cases sometimes, mix up the details. Thanks for buying the game. It paid for a whole lot of nighttime work. Got some of my peeps who need some extra work putting in some hours. Yo
u’re our law enforcement test case. You find a problem, holla.”

Mike laughed. “I’ll holla all you want.”

After the party Mike found a barbecue going on at home, with a Congratulations sign and lots of great smells. There were people from Danielle’s medical offices there, and Raoul’s sister Leire. Raoul was marinating something on the grill and talking a guy wearing a royal blue sleeveless shirt and cutoffs that did nothing to hide his obvious muscles.

Danielle came up, handed him a cream soda, and kissed him.

“That’s Jasper. He’s shiny, just like his name. He’s Rae’s brother from Tucson. He’s going through a nasty divorce with his ex-husband. He juggles some programming and some other freelancing gigs, makes enough to live on.”

Mike smiled, and twisted the top off his soda, pocketing the cap.

“Looks like he and Raoul are getting along. And, I may have some work for him if he can program games.”

He thought Raoul had made a great choice, then his thoughts stuttered, wondering how he was going to please Danielle with his workload. He had gotten his dream today, but he had a lot more work to get fully up to speed.

“What’s wrong?” she asked. “It can’t be jealousy. You’re not…”

“Bi,” said Mike slowly, “but you are.”

She smiled like the sun. “I wondered when you were going to remember that. Suda!” she called out.

A woman detached herself from talking to Michael, Danielle’s new physician’s assistant. She had a flat nose, almond eyes, and smiled both her dark eyes and her dark cherry lips. She had long black hair tied at the nape of her neck in some sort of complex knot. She had on an aqua-blue halter top and some sort of pareo tied around her waist. She barely came up to Mike’s shoulder.

“Mike, Suda. Suda, Mike. She’s an amazing surgeon. Met her at the medical conference I went to three weeks ago.”

“General surgery,” said Suda. “I don’t do any of the fancy stuff. Leaves more time for me to go to Lake Mead.” She clasped both her hands over Mike’s. “Nice to meet you. Our girl has told me so much about you.”

  “Our girl?” asked Mike.

Danielle replied by gently kissing Suda on the mouth. Suda was like a flower kissing the rain, turning her face up to Danielle’s. Something deep within Mike moved. He felt—complete... and as hard and stiff as he’d ever been. It was almost painful.

Danielle looked down. “Oh, my. Raoul!” She called out to him. “We’re taking Suda on a tour of the house!”

Raoul waved back, barely tearing his eyes away from Jasper.

Danielle took Suda by one hand and Mike by the other. They took off their sandals at the front door, then they went up the stairs to the loft, the women giggling like schoolgirls. Mike put his gun in the locker, and took off his tool belt and uniform. He changed into shorts, and hurried to the loft. Mike dropped the privacy screen while Danielle slowly took off Suda’s clothes. She looked absolutely amazing, with wide hips and strong legs. Suda took off Danielle’s halter top. Danielle turned to Mike, peeling off his shorts, as Suda pulled down Danielle’s shorts and underwear.

Mike knelt on the end of the bed as Danielle lay on her stomach, and licked Mike’s erection and sucked his balls into her mouth. He nearly screamed at the sensation, as he was as turned on by Suda kissing Danielle all the way down her back as he was by Danielle’s ministrations. She kissed Suda deeply. Mike groaned, and reached for Danielle. He nipped and sucked and touched her, from her ears to her breasts and down, down to her moist goodness. Danielle came in his hands, as he stroked her with his fingers as he sucked on her breasts.

Suda laughed. “You first, big man. You’re about to…”

He never heard the end of the sentence. He sat cross-legged on the bed, and pulled Danielle onto him. He took it slowly, gently, careful to hold her weight up until she was comfortable. She groaned, and he tilted up her face to look into her eyes. He held her face as she moved up and down. He kissed her, crying out into her mouth as he pulsed inside her and let go.

Mike leveraged her off of him, although he didn’t know how he had any energy after that. Suda kissed Danielle deeply, drawing her into the bed. Danielle found Mike’s shorts with one hand and threw them at him.

“Shower,” she said, around Suda’s kisses. “We’ll be down…

  ”Later,” said Suda.

Mike left and took the shower. First, he was too tired for a follow-up. Second, he figured he’d have plenty of time to enjoy Suda loving Danielle. He laughed out loud. He had it all--the new desk, the game, and Danielle with three people to please her. And now Raoul seemed to have found someone too. He put on a new pair of shorts and went to the doorway. He put his sandals on and went out to sample Raoul’s cooking…and to get a line on the new guy.

Mike helped Raoul, Danielle, Leire (Raoul’s sister), Anita (Raoul’s mom), and Suda put together a frame on the pour opposite the greenhouse. There was a door there already; it made sense. The weather had turned crisp, so they wore jeans and sweatshirts. Raoul had already put some of it together in his workshop, an outbuilding to the right of the main house. Anita was the director, with Raoul and Leire bringing out segments and Danielle, Mike, and Suda putting them together in a jigsaw. They had the outside framed pretty quickly. Raoul’s dad Jorge showed up with some helpers, named Nida and Juan, both fast with a hammer. Raoul’s family installed the roof, Danielle and Suda donned masks and gloves to put in insulation, and Mike were surprised to see the glazier’s truck show up with the glass.

It turned out Leire was also an electrician; she got the glazier started and began wiring outlets and running in blue “smurf” cable for the Internet. The solar panels were installed by Raoul and his dad, and Mike went in to bring out the previously-made huge containers of water and tea, the cooler of soda, and the sandwiches. They ate in shifts; the glazier and her assistant gladly took sandwiches and cans of Coke as well.

Mike was stunned to see the whole thing go up in a single day. Raoul had already created the platform and boxes that became stairs; installing the platform was annoying as both Mike and Leire ended up with barked knuckles. Suda went up and put a tarp down on the floor of the platform. She and Danielle began painting the walls. Raoul put the stairs in and took up two small bookcases; the women painted it too. Raoul taught MIke how to put trim around the windows. Then, Raoul turned to help his dad install the fold-down table. The cedar siding went on the outside and inside to match the rest of the house. It smelled amazing. Suda and Danielle finished the platform walls and began putting sealant on the platform. They worked their way down the stairs with the sealant.

The sky was just deepening from blue to indigo when they ordered pizza and descended upon it like wolves. The “extras” left, leaving Raoul’s family and Mike’s family. “Quad,” he thought. “There’s four of us. We’re a quad.”

Mike didn’t know when he’d ever been that exhausted. “Raoul,” said Mike, groaning as he slid into his camp chair in front of the fire pit, putting the cold Mountain Dew can against his barked knuckles. “Dude, never stop making houses tiny. A big one would kill me.”

Raoul laughed. “Sure. Just remember, we have another part of that concrete pad back there.”

“What the hell are you going to do with that?”

Raoul sighed. “Gotta put the kids somewhere.” Mike nodded, as if that sentence made sense. Maybe, sometime, it would.

The guitars came out, Raoul and his father Pablo doing some intricate fretwork that stunned everyone. Leire had a gorgeous voice. She and her mother, Anita, sang song after song in Spanish. Mike followed quite a bit of it, as he had learned far more Spanish while playing the game.

Raoul’s parents seemed to be completely accepting of Raoul living poly. They talked and laughed and joked, making Dani
elle and Suda break into tinkling laughter. They were cuddling under a blanket on the curving outdoor banquette, firelight dancing over their faces. In that moment, Mike knew he wouldn’t trade this lifestyle for anything.

Raoul’s parents stayed over in the guest bedroom, and Leire slept in Danielle’s bedroom. Raoul and Mike both slept alone, but, as Mike mused, they were so exhausted he didn’t think either one of them cared. Danielle and Suda slept in the old loft; the new room had drying paint and still-tacky polyurethane.

The next day, they woke up to huevos rancheros and home fries. Mike put mild salsa on his eggs; everyone else used fiery salsa. Raoul and his family took off to build another tiny house. Suda and Danielle went out to work on Suda’s new room, and Mike went to work on his game. He set timers to stop and work out, a complex high-intensity weightlifting program that caused him to break a sweat. He showered, shaved, ate an apple with peanut butter, drank a liter of water, and went back to work
